Stay Away
Unless one likes complexity; frustration with web sites that don’t work right; no human being to talk to (especially when they’re no help at all); exasperated when dealing with their login/pwd input and overzealous security measures which makes it nearly impossible to access…..then this is the place for you. I can’t even contact a human to cancel and remove my account. Two hours wasted just trying to place an order. Moving to Kansas City Meats. Good Luck people.

I placed my first order today after hearing Dan *** mention Omaha Steaks on his show. I went through the ordering process and just as I was about to confirm my order, the website offered me the option to add lobster tails for free shipping. I chose to add them, but the system still charged me for shipping. I called customer service and had an excellent experience with my complaint. I pressed 2 for existing orders and was connected to a real person within seconds, without any waiting. She helped me right away, resolved my issue, and refunded the shipping fee. I appreciate their great customer service and hope they continue doing a good job.

Everything we have ordered has been great! Some things we really like and order over again and others we enjoyed but will try something else in it's place next time. The times I have had to speak with customer service they have been very helpful and courteous. We got our first box as a Christmas gift and continued to order after that. I fit them into my budget and stop buying meat at the the grocery store.
Best Christmas Present Ever!
My granddaughter wrote me and told me that I was the best present buyer ever. She just gotten done eating the Omaha top sirloin steaks and said how delicious it was. My other daughter sent me a picture and said the potatoes and steaks were great! Thanks, Omaha for making me the best grandma give giver EVER! It all sounded so good I ordered twice from Omaha for myself. We are going to share it with my son and his girl for Christmas.
Great quality food and flavor
Ordered for thanksgiving, everyone really enjoyed the food. Turkey breast was a great flavor and texture, so nice not to have to mess with a whole turkey. Sausage cranberry stuffing was delicious.
It was nice to just have to take straight out of the freezer and into the oven for heating. As a word of caution do make sure to allow variance time for different ovens and microwaves and plan out how to heat everything to serve if you are doing a full meal.
Thanksgiving Dinner in a box
I ordered the baked ham, smashed red potatoes, root veggies au gratin and garlic baguettes, pecan pie and pumpkin pie. It was a fabulous meal. I loved everything about it. The ham was moist and succulent, the potatoes and veggies were so tasty, the pies were just like I would have made. All for $139.00, had I done the shopping and cooking from scratch this would have cost me more and wore me out. I will definitely order my holiday meals from this company in the future.

Upon receiving these steaks, I was impressed with the manner in which they were prepared for shipping.
I have received other perishable items where attention to detail was, in my opinion, overlooked. There are virtually always some unforseeable disasters lurking in the transportive mode. No disaster was part of my shipping process. Thank you! Preparation of these "hanger" steaks was as I anticipated. Other folks' may vary depending on what they like in terms of their cooking style but, after the first bite, the tenderness and juiciness were so robust, it passes all of my critical tests. I was disappointed in the quality of the meat "bundle" I bought as a thank you gift for relatives. The hot dogs were said to have cooked up dry and were not as tasty as brands that come from grocery stores. They did not complain about the steaks. On my second purchase, I decided to buy burgers and a Thanksgiving ham for myself. The burgers cooked up slimy with grease. There was little taste. I was embarrassed that I took the ham to the family dinner. The color looked artificial--too pink-- and it was not as good as the well known brand so popular at holiday meals. The kids who usually love ham for Thanksgiving did not eat it. Yet, it cost just as much as the popular brand. Twice a disappointment .Not a good buy all around.
Placed an order for Christmas. Said it would arrive in time. According to their updates it has been somewhere between the freezer truck and *** for 4 days. If it does arrive now the meat will probably be rancid. I called and got tired of being on hold sent several emails and didn't get any responses yet. Updated shipping has now delayed our delivery an additional day every day since the 23rd. Today i got an email with a delivery date of 12/27. Terrible. 0 stars. Our order arrived, but with no dry ice, boxes torn open, food (fish & chicken) at room temperature. Immediately called them. After a very long wait, Rick answered, apologized and then he rambled on about how the chicken fried steaks were just like his mother made, and how the styrofoam shipment containers (that recycling centers won't take) make great containers for night crawlers for fishing. ?! We told him our order was for family holiday dinner. He scheduled a re-shipment of our order, assuring us it would be shipped in 2 days; we'd get it in 3. Nothing arrived. A week we waited. Nothing. We called, and Patty researched the issue, then said there was no notation at all, in their system, that our original order had had a problem, and no new shipment had been re-ordered. ! We've been frequent, and good customers of Omaha Steaks, but we're done! Will have to wait, now, for a refund. Pleasant customer service is one thing, but ZERO follow through, and dangerously shipped food items, make this a very bad company to deal with. Will post the pictures we took of the condition of the warm products we got, on other social media platforms, to try to warn their current - and potential customers. Terrible.

Spotty customer service - ordered a birthday gift for my sister. It was to be delivered on the 9/11/2021. Instead it got delivered on 9/13/2021 after sitting in a truck or warehouse. It was thawed out and warm. Called nd spoke to customer rep who told me if it was partially thawed it was ok to keep and the use. I advised I would not eat something that had thawed when it had been shipped several days prior to delivery date. They reshipped but after nonsense from the rep. I asked if there was a priority shipment she stated No there is not and that it was not there problem if their shipper of choice, delivered it late. poor service/ big prices next time i buy a supermarket gift card and it can all be fresh from the market. Quality of food in not noted anywhere and it probably comes from lower end meat cuts anyway
Your online system is totally messed up. After 45 minutes on-line I am giving up. I enter things and they get changed...I try to check out and it won't even let me enter a credit card #. One price is on the flyer I got and another on the cart...it tells me to enter a code but then does it say where ... Your AI is clearly sick today.
I just tried to purchase 3 packages. The order page(s) were not as clear as should have been and were too repetititive. Trying to sign up for the special discount meant returning a "Y" response to their text, after giving my text number. Now I am open to all of their marketing sharks. I gave up after about 20 minutes on a simple purchase with a bad feeling about the whole business. My local meat market will continue being my only meat source.
Received my order which was a gift . All that was included was 4 tiny steaks pieces , 4 thin pieces of chicken breasts some seasonings and 4 tarts . I was shorted Hamburgers, hotdogs and scalloped potatoes . On hold an hour with no answer and no response to email .
The meat is just ok but the emails are unending and we will never order from Omaha steaks again. Website has option to reduce emails to once a month but we get several every day. This is the worst that we have ever experienced with online harassment.

When I placed my order, I was given a few choices for delivery. I chose the Christmas delivery for two addresses and made a mistake by not checking the Christmas delivery on the local order. The local order was delivered on Dec. 2, 2022. The other two, out of state orders, were delivered Dec. 3, 2022. I'm pretty sure Omaha uses the same calendar as we do. Two out of state orders delivered on Dec. 3, 2022 doesn't get close to being a Christmas delivery. There are too many companies out there who would love to have my money and since Omaha has a strange sense of when Christmas is and my orders delivered accordingly, I'll be trying different places next year. Other than being fairly easy to order and ship, their steaks are extremely costly and very so-so for the money so they will no longer be getting my hard earned money.

They had a offer called the filet &more welcome package #67692kDG.I made a phone call got a representative that didn't know anything about this offer and tried to give me a offer that was a lot more expensive then what I called for. I have ordered from Omaha Steaks for many many years. This year the phone order for what would have been a couple of hundred dollars plus was going well until the delivery fee came up. I have in front of me their personal gift list form that clearly states an order of $99.00 or more, no delivery fee, not stating conditional per order...well I was thrown the curve ball, told needed 39.00 more to deliver, was placed on 2 holds to talk to a customer service rep, I referenced their form. Placed on hold again and I ultimately hung up after being on the phone for 30 plus minutes. I wrote in to customer service and explained the horrific experience with Omaha Steaks. A few days later I got a voice mail from Barbera B, asking to help. So I call back, ask for Barbara, gave all my info and was put on hold to transfer...a man answered the phone, I again requested Barbara whom had reviewed the comments I sent them and wanted her...I was promptly told they have many many Barberas and that simply wasnt going to happen. As I requested Barbera B again I was talked over and virtually treated like dirt from this individual that was representing their customer service dept...as he told me. Omaha Steaks Poor Business Practices
This is the second year I received Omaha products as a Christmas Gift. I was not impressed last year as the quality was very poor especially the chicken breasts that were thin pounded squares. The meat was tasteless and most of the products had preservatives and artificial ingredients. Since I eat only natural food, I experienced digestive upsets. I got a $35 gift card for my trouble. I thought this was a "one time" deal so I was surprised when I received an email alerting me in 2021 that another Gift was on the way. I made 3 phone
Calls (and 3 hours wait time) to try to stop or change this order. I called SAME DAY I got the email that said "if you are not going to be home please contact us immediately" to make other arrangements. I was told that it was already shipped and could not be stopped. Customer service is not helpful. FINALLY one agent checked the order and confirmed it was wine! So that was ok. Then I got another email a week later that said that another Gift was on the way. I called within hours to stop this order and was told, again, already shipped! I told them that I do not want the product if it is food and most important I WOULD NOT BE HOME to receive the perishable items. I would be away for a few days so the items would be spoiled when I got home. The solution options were 1) an email Gift Card to me to make another selection or 2) refund to my nephew. After a review of products, I selected wild caught lobster tails. They were so costly but on sale (still over-priced) so I agreed to the egift card. I would then explain to my nephew the problems but was very appreciative of his gift since he lives out of state. Well, the egift card never came so I contacted again! The agent told me "too bad" nothing she can do. This was a "family problem" and her hands were tied to make other arrangements. The items were on the way. She told me to donate if I do not want! Frustrated, I called again and found out the egift card was sent to my nephew which I did not want! The first agent could not even verify that and was not nice! So now, I have no other alternative but to tell my nephew the story and find out if he got "my" egift card. I wanted to avoid making him feel bad but I need to tell him to never purchase from them again. THEIR BUSINESS PRACTICES AND FOOD PRODUCTS ARE BELOW STANDARDS FOR THE PRICES THEY ARE CHARGING!

I contacted OS 14 days after placing the order, and they said they had sent it but it got lost in the mail. They promised to send a new one, but that also never arrived. I spoke with a supervisor named Turquoise, who couldn't explain what went wrong. She said it was sent, but then said my clients wouldn't be receiving the second certificate. It was very confusing. Turquoise assured me that she would cancel the order and refund my credit card within 3-5 business days. I asked for an email confirmation of our conversation, but I never received it. I had to call OS again on May 4, 2020 because I still hadn't received the refund. This time, I spoke with a supervisor named Sarah, who said the previous customer service representatives had given me incorrect information. She said a check had been issued for the refund on April 21, 2020, but she couldn't confirm if it had been mailed. She told me to wait a few more days and promised to send proof that the check was processed on April 21, 2020. However, I never received this proof. I was frustrated because they were sending a check instead of refunding my credit card. On May 8, 2020, I contacted a customer service representative named Josh to explain the situation and express my concern about not receiving a credit for a product I never received. He was very helpful and promised to follow up on Monday, May 11, 2020. He left me a voicemail instructing me to contact a supervisor to facilitate the credit. So, on May 13, 2020, I called and provided my credit card number to the supervisor over the phone, although I felt uncomfortable because of the company's lack of trustworthiness. The supervisor told me they needed to send my credit card information to their credit department and that he would send me an email confirmation at some point. His communication sounded vague, unprofessional, and he showed no remorse for the distress the company has caused me over the past couple of months. I'm now waiting to see if the credit will arrive in the coming days. This company has shown no compassion or courtesy to its customers. I will never order from them again. This was my first and last experience with them. They need to take responsibility for mishandling their customers' money. They are not a reliable company.
I bought 4 Ribeye steaks from this company. When cooked they had a strange smell and strange slimy texture. We weren't about to eat them and get sick from them. I threw them out. I then took my box and receipt to the Omaha Steaks Store where I got them from. I was told 3 to 5 days for refund. It is now day 14.
Place an order that I did not receive , wrong address was placed on order ,contacted *** and Omaha steak was told I could place a 2nd order and pay for it and a refund for 1st order would be received. A month later no refund was received and a credit was placed on my account. Told I could get a check for refund and credit was removed. After a month no check received called and was told credit card would be refunded. A month later still no refund as promised. So email was sent asking to look into the issue with my refund and it's been over 2 weeks and no response . Refund was supposed to be made on 12/14/2021 and been waiting 3 months. Please help. Guaranteed on their steak packages, there was a failure to properly ship the combo packages safely, not once but twice. The first action was a drop-off at the wrong address, as opposed to Loot in discovering the error. I phoned and informed the company of the mistake, and they were supposed to make corrections. We take blame for the initial error; it may have been our fault, having issues with the Steaks and Steakburgers. The company stated it would happily stand by the problem and reship. I called the company on Friday, June 3, 2022, to get an update and was informed the shipment was on the truck and expected the same day by 8:00 PM, to no avail. The Franks and Chicken were excellent, but I have a complaint about the Steaks and Burgers, both being gritty. I expected to receive satisfaction, but this expectation is now null and void.
I simply want my phone number, email address, and physical address removed from Omaha Steak's database. Despite my repeated requests not to receive marketing calls, mail, and emails, I am now receiving multiple emails per day.

Delivery of my steak order
I have been ordering from Omaha Steaks for many years and have always had good service. This year one of my sons recieved his steaks and the packaging was broken, and the packaging was punctured in 3 places. It was not prime hard to cut and very chewy. I will never buy from omaha steaks again 149.00 dollars for a piece of meat, public rib roast much better I do not have order number anthony prozzo order was delivered on nov.22nd total 179.00 1 4lb prime rib. 4 steak burgers and hamburgers. I want you to know I worked for the US Army; I was customer service 18 years. I know the system works. I was a store manager for 12 years. GS13. Your system knows one knows anything even when you tell them customer gives all written down the order by hand. I was promised your mistake would be rectified. We reordered everything. The Order canceled Not by me. Once again, all records were lost, I relayed to her everything once again. Not only did she tell me the order did not exist but all the sale items, where not the same price. I was given 8 steak burgers for my inconvenience. My wife and I had started ordering your steaks and other items like burgers and pork. We were very happy with the quality and taste of the 8 qty - 10 oz NY strip steaks we had last year. I ordered two more times this year (Feb and April) and they were horrible. They didn't have any flavour and very thin and were not the same as previous orders we had last year. We are very disappointed and would not order any more steaks as it seems that the quality has dropped significantly.
We are so disappointed that the quality, taste and thickness has diminished significantly. I hope that you are not sending out higher grade steaks for the first orders to get you hooked and then lowering the quality for later orders.
We will not be purchasing anything gong forward.

Got a phone call from OS later after I received my re-order that in the spirit of goodwill to make it right they will send me another package - I was not told it would be a charged item or a replacement item for the original order.
However , i was charged for both. I should only be charged for $407.45. I did not place 2 orders for a family of 4 for Thanksgiving. If they claim they sent me another package I surely did not ask for it.
Desired outcome: Please credit $394.95 to my Discover Card. Meat was mis-delivered and got spoiled. I did not place two orders for Thanksgiving.

Crockpot corned beef kit
I have been a regular customer for over 15 years.We are senior citizens on a fixed income and we both have arthritis which makes it very difficult to walk.I love everything that is all I need is to bake it and dinner ois sevedYour fully cooked pot roast is absolutely delicious.I don't think that the corned beef dinner was worth 29.99.It was mostly potatoes and carrots with cabbage.Other is was pretty good .The corned beef was two very small pieces I just received the burger assortment. The Filet Mignon Pieces I Ordered. What came was Beef Tenderloin Steak Pieces.
This ordered was delivered to my son. It was delivered in two shipments. One on April 5,2023 and one today April 6,2023. Order number J1685918RRPB. I ordered Filet Mignon Pieces and received Beef Tenderloin Pieces. This is the second big order I have done with you. I felt you were misrepresenting the product you advertised. Michelle, whom I spoke to explained that Beef Tenderloin is the same as Filet Mignon pieces. If that is so, then it needs to state that or be put in parentheses beside Filet Mignon. Otherwise, it feels like you scammed me and gave me a lesser quality beef. There is no where on the box of Beef Tenderloin pieces that says Filet Mignon. I just want what I ordered to be right after paying this amount of money. What I ordered should match the invoice

To say we were not thrilled with your Lobster M ac it was disgusting found no LOBSTER the cheese flavor was terrible as well.

Package of 12 sirloin ribeye burgers
To Whom It May Concern:
I am filing a formal complaint against Omaha steak company because I ordered a 12 pack of ribeye steak burgers for my brother as a birthday present on 2-6-23. My brother's birthday was 2-12-23. The order number is #T7553847HFXS. The above item was in fact shipped to my brother and arrived on 2-9-23. Fed Ex left the package outside of the front gate of the entrance way to my brother's front door. He lives on a corner street with heavy traffic. When I saw the photo of where the package was left, I was dumfounded to understand why Fed Ex wouldn't have left the item securely at the front door inside of the gate where it would not have been visible from passing traffic. When I learned that my brother did not receive the item, I realized it had to have been stolen. I wrote a letter of complaint to Omaha steaks on Feb 12 telling them that I was extremely disappointed that the item was delivered in an unsecure manner and that my brother did not receive it for his birthday. I requested a refund. Omaha steaks did not respond to my email, and instead shipped a second package out when I asked for a refund. When I called them, I was placed on hold for quite a while, and was then told they could do nothing about my request for a refund. I am beyond disappointed that my brother did not receive his gift on time, was delivered in an unsecure manner, and my request was ignored. beef products
These products are grossly over priced. They've obviously spent too long in freezers, because regardless of how they are cooked, they turn out to be as tough as shoe leather.
This business should be boycotted. If you are able to purchase never frozen Iowa or Nebraska beef from a local grocer, do it. You'll see what I mean.
My family members were cattlemen, and they raised Angus cattle. There is no comparison between what we raised, and what these inferior people are selling, and getting away with it. Support your meat lockers, as well, to avoid being ripped off.
It's unlikely that Omaha Beef will allow my opinion to be shared by others, so I will post my opinion elsewhere besides this site. Good luck, customers.

Person At Home
Person showed up at my daughters house saying his vehicle broke down and she should come outside to buy cheap meat. She felt very intimated and scared and asked him to leave. He said come outside and she said please leave. She took a video as he walked across street and than drove away. Is this a broken down vehicle? Is this how you sell your product? I called the number and left message explaining im had been an officer in adjacent town and this behavior is inappropriate. This person called me approximately 30 minutes later saying he gets all these complaints but nothing will happen. He was a rude condescending person and said I was imitating an officer. After 26 years in law enforcement this person should not be in charge of anything and since he was in Nebraska nothing will happen. Someone should explain its not ok to intimidate and lie to people to make sales. Feel free to call me at [protected].

Private reserve rub
I researched the allergens for all the products on the web site. I avoided the twice baked potatoes and the chocolate dessert. The Private Reserve Rub did NOT specify that there was soy in it. I used it and my stomach informed me the next day. I looked at the label and indeed, it lists soybean oil as an ingredient. I am NOT happy that they were not factual.
Lucky for them it is not a life or death situation, but certainly a quality of life issue for me.
I have no desire to purchase their products again.

Evidently the customer service rep does not know that there is an online list of all their products and the specifications of allergens (which I specified in my complaint) . The meat rub did NOT list that there is soybean oil in the product. I used it to my detriment...the bottle says it but the web site does NOT. that could be a fatal mistake. The customer service rep did not reply accurately to my complaint, nor did he reply to the email that I sent. I will not purchase from this company again.

I too ordered OMAHA STEAKS AS A GIFT. to 3 family members. And my 4 th family members never received there’s. All this was placed on December 15. I kept calling Omaha steaks and no response. So I emailed Omaha steaks and no response. Then my fed x said delivered on December 23. I called my family member and they said not delivered to them. Turns out the order was delivered to the wrong address. So I’m assuming these people are enjoying a free meal on my behalf.
No why couldn’t my family member be notified of their package. And why were all my other family their packages delivered in a timely manner.
I would have liked for Omaha steaks to have notified me that the address could not be found or something.
I would like Omaha Steaks to take care of this. I don’t want to pay again and be delivered to someone else’s house.
