Derive System got some top-notch customer service, let me tell you. They saved me and my customer loads. There was this one time when I had this truck that was busted and I needed to get it going again, but when I called up to tech support, guess what? The office was CLOSED! I was pretty bummed out but then I decided to shoot an email to all the Derive people I knew, and guess what again? Within a couple of hours, six of their people came out of nowhere to help me. That was WAY more than I expected, and we were definitely grateful for their help.
So, yeah, big shout-out to Derive for being awesome.

I had some troubles with my tuner and Derive Power's Dillion came to the rescue. He went above and beyond to help me out. He remotely connected to my laptop and guided me on the phone to fix the issue. The entire time he was reassuring and made sure that everything was okay. I really appreciate the amazing customer service that Derive Power provided, thanks to Dillion. I will definitely be buying from this company again in the future. They are doing great work over there!

I bsught a GT Platinum Gas Tutor for my 2014 Chevy Tahoe and it ain't worth a penny. It gave me trouble right from the start, hard starting and the temp gauge doesn't work, it's just (---) and the hood says it's open so the remote start don't work no more. I even tried to go back to factory settings and nothing's changed. I called tech support 2 times already, waited 3.5 hours on hold and wrote a long email explaining all my problems, ain't nobody got back to me. First guy said the software was out of date, but nobody called when they said they would. The next guy told me to reset and disconnect the hard wire but it's probably my Body Control Module that needs a scan and reset. What a disappointment! Now I gotta pay to reset my BCM, like I don't have enough expenses. Or maybe it's because I'm a female and they think I don't know about cars. Ain't happy at all.

They got this product that's supposed to install a custom tune but it ain't working on my 2012 Ram 1500 with that 5.7 Hemi. I done tried calling and emailing but ain't got no callbacks or nothing. I gots a bullydog programmer for my 2013 infinity g37. It was all good till I did an update four months back. Now when I try to install it gives an error code. I been trying to reach out to them by callin' and emailin' but they ain't doin' nothin' 'bout the error in their programmer. They ain't even compensatin' me for it. This dang company Derive Power LLC really messed me up! They done goofed and now they saying I gotta pay $150 to fix it. I got me a second hand sct tuner and it was all good, showing unmarried and five unlocks. But then these jokers updated the firmware and now it's married with only three unlocks left. They trying to say it was married to one car then unmarried and married to another, but I got pictures to prove it don't make sense. Them tuners come with five unlocks, so if it was married to two vehicles, it should show four unlocks left, not three. Ugh, what a headache!

I've been trying for a while to get my gt tuner sorted from Derive Power LLC, but it's been no dice. They said something about covid, but I don't think that's really the issue. I've tried calling, emailing, chatting - you name it, I've given it a go. But no matter what, I can't seem to get through. One time I did get an email update but it didn't help at all. Honestly, I don't have time to wait on hold or for a callback all day. I have a job, too. I've been trying to contact them whenever I get a free minute, but it's always the same story - either it's the wrong time of day or it just cuts off. By the way, they should really have their service techs leave an employee ID when they call, so we can get back to them. I've shot off four emails with the same info and zero results, unfortunately.

I bought a bully dog gt tuner for my buggy 'bout 2 months ago. I been strugglin' to fix the problem by myself, I did what the instructions said and tried so many times to update it for my ride. On 2nd November , I tried to get in touch with bullydog's support team. They kept sayin' they'd call me back as soon as someone was free, but no one ever called! After bein' on hold for over an hour without gettin' through, I decided to reach out by email. I got one response, but the issue was never fixed 'cause they never replied back to me after I told them what was wrong. I sent 'em about four more emails and tried their live chat, but still nothin'! I just want help fixin' this problem 'cause I dropped $600 on this device for my car.

Their customer service is no good, I got stuck with a $600 piece of junk. I got a Bullydog tuner from a dude on ***, but it stopped working on July 3rd. I tried calling and emailing Bullydog for weeks and no one got back to me. Finally, on July 17th, I talked to someone who said they'd send me a new cable to fix it, but I never got any follow up. I even asked the seller to help me get in touch with Bullydog, but they haven't done jack. It's been a lot of dough for nothin'.

I spent 550 bucks on the bully dog GT to fix my 2012 Nissan Titan. When I put it up for sale, the new buyer didn't wanna keep it, so I took it off and now my truck won't turn over. I emailed bully dog and got one answer asking techie stuff (which I sent back), but then no response after. Even after 4 or 5 more emails they never got back to me. I ended up towing it to a store and it would cost a whole lot over 1000 bucks to get it fixed/towed to get it started. I googled bully dog and saw all the complaints and bad customer help - which I shoulda done before I bought it. You can't even call them and they ghost you in emails. And now I'm out 1800 dollars and can't even get to work since my truck won't run. Been sitting in my driveway delayed weeks trying to contact bully dog. Shop called me up yesterday with the hefty cost to repair it. So mad. Victor J.

I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with Derive Power LLC
I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with Derive Power LLC. I bought one of their Livewire TS devices because I was really keen on using the delete EGR option. So imagine my surprise when I updated the device and found that the feature had been removed, along with a bunch of others. I called up Derive Systems and all they had to say was that they're not allowed to forewarn people about feature removal due to the EPA. Like seriously? Is it really legal for them to sell me a device and then take away features without telling me? When I asked for a supervisor or manager I got hung up on! That's just rude. I've had other SCT devices before and they've always told me that updates won't remove any features. Plus, I found a forum post from way back in 2013 where Jon of SCT said the same thing. So I'm pretty sure it's not legal for them to do this kind of thing without giving people a heads up and some kind of compensation. Derive Systems clearly thinks they can get away with breaking the law, but I'm not impressed. And now I'm stuck with a vehicle that needs to be serviced just to reconfigure it without the Livewire feature, costing me over a grand. Not cool, guys.
