This company offered a free trial for delivery charges only. Gave 10 days for trial but cannot reach
them to cancel account on the 8th day. However, when inquiring about my credit card, my company
say that Diet Max Cleanse has already charged $87.47 to my account and I have not been given a chance
to cancel since they do not answer their phone and the email address is not available. I did go in to the
original site and did an unsubscribe. I have received the trial capsules and after taking just one capsule
became sick with a heart rate of 109 beats per minute. I was charged the $3.87 for shipping of this
sample and am willing to pay that charge. But, my trial period ends today and they cannot be reached.
My credit card company say charged my account for the new order on Aug. 11 which is 5 days before my
trial period is to end? They say they will delete the charge. I am very unhappy with the company. I
think they are scamming people!

THIS COMPANY: Diet Max/Lean Body Burn/Nurtrigenic LLC HAS SCAMMED TOO MANY OF US and NEEDS TO BE REPORTED AND PROSECUTED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW. The "Trial Offer" "Only Pay Shipping" and "No Further Obligation, " then we're all getting hit with $87.13 (+ or -) on our bank accounts & credit cards for something we did not purchase or agree to. With so many phone numbers and addresses I've gotten nowhere in getting a refund or even a 'cancellation.' This being an Int'l company is making matters more difficult.

I'm reporting them to the FBI Internet Crimes Division. I see no other alternative. If you care to do the same, here's the link:

I have experienced all the same as in these comments, so not feeling very confident that I am going to get the refund they promised me today in the next 10-15 business days. I am so sick about this - my bank called to alert me right after I made the 'free trial' purchase to let me know they put a credit hold on my account for $87.13 - when I heard this, I immediately called to cancel (before I even got the trial bottle) - that very same day they charged me the full $87.13 ! Even though it was 3 weeks before the end of the trial period and I had already gone through their ridiculous online cancellation process (rep name, digital signature, don't make any mistakes...). Do I really need to cancel my credit card for all this?! Has ANYONE had a positive experience?

Same thing happened 2 me...i ordered the free trial, thought i had 10 days to cancel but on the 8th day there was a hold for $87.13 on my card, I never rec'd the product and I was charged before the 10days was even up. I called the company and was told call back in 2-3 hours b/c ther computers were down, i called several times before a rep would help me and i was told i had he would send me an email with a link and i was to fill it out & then my card wouldnt be charged, he assured me the charges wouldnt go thru, well of course they did, today i was charge the $87.13 so i called the company again and waited 20 mins for a rep to answer and i was told it would take 10-15 days to get the refund, i guess we will see if ths happens. im going to contact my credit card company and dispute this. This company sucks, they steal money and looks like they continue to do it over and over again! they sould not be allowed to do this! WHAT A SCAM! I HATE DIETMAX!

I HAVE JUST SOLVED THE CHARGING TO MY CREDIT CARD. Call your credit card company, and tell that you had lost your card. Give them a date of the last thing that you purchased (that you agreed to purchase)...then they will send a new card, and also stop any further charges.
GOOD LUCK

This has happened to me too ! I am in the UK and found about the "free trial". They have now debited two payments from my Credit Card. Luckily my bank have become suspicious and have phoned today to let me know. They have frozen my cards so I am hoping that they will not be able to take any more money. This just leaves me with a hefty credit card bill to now pay and no cards until this is sorted. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT be tempted to sign up to this trial, it is clearly a scam. I just wish I hadn't been so stupid in the first place to sign up.

I have also had problems with this company, not received the free trial, but then they tried to take an extra $87 13, luckily my credit card informed me so I was able to stop the transaction, Linda (England)

I just spent most of my morning trying to deal with the same thing. I didn't even see the 10 day trial info on the site so imagine my surprise when I was hit with the $87 charge for the first bottle and then another $74 charge for the second one which hasn't yet arrived. I called and tried to resolve with the company and of course the same run around you've all been getting and "we'll send a link" yadda yadda yadda. They didn't so I called the bank again and the billing disputes person got on the line with me with the company customer service person and they cancelled it right then and there...gave me an RMA # for the yet to arrive bottle of stuff and a cancellation number which the bank lady now has record of and said I would be reimbursed for part of the second bottle when I return. Restocking charge of course ...I'll get back $49.50 for a $74.26 charge. It's better than nothing and now if i get any more charges from them the bank is ready to dispute. I could kick myself for not being more alert to the 10 day trial thing and for even ordering from such a bogus company to start with. Not like I can afford the extra charges right now. So if you have a problem get your bank folks on the line with you otherwise this company WILL NOT take you seriously. And forget trying to understand them on the phone...I think they are all foreigners and their phone system is very unclear. Plus they talk so fast. Both reps I spoke to were not very understandable.

Yes, I am in the same boat, sort of... I also got fooled by the 'free trial' on Saturday 6 Nov but as soon as I received the confirmation of order email, gut feeling kicked in (5mins too late lol) and I started 'googling'... and oh me, millions of complaints about this horrid scam. So I got on the phone to my credit card company right away and reported it 'lost'. They have blocked my account right away and are opening a new one with a new card. I have to wait for another one for a week or so but rather that than let them charge me for something I never signed up for and use my credit card details for god knows what. So my advice to you people, cancel or report your card lost or stolen as soon as possible to stop these scammers taking your money they are not entitled to.
I have also called one of the numbers in the confirmation email right away on Saturday (I am in UK btw) and I did get to speak to some girl with Americanised accent but was clearly not American, she was talking very fast and I could not understand a word she was saying. I said I want to cancel she started going on about why dont I give it a go and try it and blahblah and if I am not happy I can call them again to cancel. I got fed up after a while coz of her weird accent so I said I will do that. But I sure will be on the phone to them later today again to 'cancel'. But I am at least slightly more at peace that they should not be able to charge me more as my card is cancelled now... I feel for you peeps though and I keep my fingers crossed you get your money back and this horrid company is brought to justice soon!

Same thing here... Scammed! Dietmax [protected] took 87.13 from my account six days after I signed up for the ten day trial version. Not to mention still never received the product to try for the ten day trial and had to research the product to find a working number to cancel ten day trial. The number they provided was bogus. When I called to cancel after six days and a pending charge of 87.13 on my account they said they would return 20 dollars to my account since "I didn't like the product". ARE YOU KIDDING ME, I NEVER TRIED YOUR PRODUCT AND I WANT 87.13 RETURNED TO MY ACCOUNT NOW! After being transferred to three supervisors and TWO HOURS on the phone nothing but a twenty dollar refund was offered to me. Had to cancel credit card and still the charges keep coming in...THIS IS ILLEGAL, AND NO ONE IS STOPPING THIS FROM HAPPENING...PLEASE HELP!

I thought I was getting a free trial sample, the fine print I guess was so small I didn't see the 10 day grace period. I was checking my bank account one day and saw $87.83 was in "hold" status so I immediately called their 1-800 number. I spoke to Ahsley and was told that since I am calling within my 10 grace period she was going to send me a "link" to cancel my order and I would not be charged. I never received the e-mail and my account was debited the $87.83. I called immediately and was told the system was down, to call back tomorrow. I called the next day and was told the same thing. On the third day I actually talked to a person and eventuallywas transferred to a supervisor. What "Steven" told me was that it was my responsibility to let them know within three hours that I didn't get the link but because I had not, my 10 grace period was up. Now I am usually very good at being tackful and can communicate good enough that most of the time things such as this get rectified. But NOT with this company. THEY ARE HORRIBLE! Thankfully I used my debit card so I closed that out and got issued a new one so Diet Max can no longer debit my account. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!

received trial product as ordered. pending charge on credit card of 87.13 called toll free number. naturally is outsourced to foreign country. guy spoke good english with very little accent. still had to tell him wanted to cancel 5 times. kept trying to push special offers. told him i would try trial bottle if effective, then i would order some more. finally he said you have to fill out cancellation form email. if i get refund everything ok. suggest if anyone out there has unresolved problem, you can dispute charge on credit or debit card. call you card company on how to do this. also can file complaint with consumer protection dept. of your state attorney general office for deceptive advertising. goood luck and may god bless

My complaints sound like all of the above. I finally did get someone to say that any further orders was canceled, but am wondering if it really is canceled? I think I will go to my bank and put a stop payment on any further orders just to be on the safe side. I was told on my last call to send the unopened bottle back and they would refund my money. I never have received them, so therefore, I don't have a full blottle to send back. This was for the cleanser and The Diet Max. I've been charged twice for one bottle that really did nothing, but give me a little more energy. Then I started to have lots of stomach problems with the capsules, so I quit taking them and they cleared up by the next day. I have the addresses to send the bottles back; I wonder if it would do any good to write to them? I do have a different number that might help. I ask for a supervisor and some how I got this number [protected]. Very unhappy in San Antonio.

The advertisement say Free Sample. I just pay $2.95 for shipping and should be paid by Credit Card. I received the sample but did not used it.I found out they took from my credit card the following amount, 10/22/10 $o.o8, $2.95, $0.04 & $1.49 and also 10/28/10 $87.13 & $2.61.The charges are too much, I did not know that it willbe like this. I want to return the sample but there is no return address, no Email . How can we stop this company in scamming people.

I am going through the same thing. They should be shot for doing this to people. I found out about diet max through our local news that tests products to see if they are scams. They said that it was a great product. So I went to the link the news had posted and ordered and BAM they are stealing my money and will not cancel. My bank said that canceling my card would not stop them. They said that they can still charge my account. Please let's find a way to shut these a$$holes down and for good.

Well I guess I am not alone. I noticed today that they just took out a random amount of 10.05 and 3.04...That is a total of 185.19 for one bottle of product. Hell for that amount we should have received the Acai berry tree shipped from S. America. ha. I will be cancelling my card and filing a complaint with the BBB of West Palm Beach. I know I will never receive one penny back or even another bottle of product.
Someone wrote that we should read the terms of services, I totally agree...but it didn't say we will send you ONE bottle and just keep taking money out of your account even if you do cancel. I am sooooooooooo pissed. I should know better...but I have purchased other products under similar circumstances and never had any problems. Anyway I Breathe and move on.

According to UK Trading Standards, these shysters are possibly the same company as the tooth whitening scammers.
Some people have been had for thousands of pounds.
Keep an eye on your debit and credit card statements as they are legally (apparently) entitled to take money as and when they want, as you have already volunteered this information when you paid for the trial offer! The mind boggles, they should be hung, drawn and quartered!

Yep, I've been stung as well to the tune of AU$130.00. Not to mention what my phone bill is going to be like for every time I called and connected to a machine! My bank CBA Australia has been most helpful to cancel my card and lodge a dispute on my behalf. If only I had found this page prior to ordering! This company is really out to get your money. Like everyone here I requested the free sample on 10/26/2010 that they offered for $2.95. That same day my account had 2 charges $2.95 and $0.09. Two days later 10/29 tow other charges $1.49 and 0.04- This is already a sign that they abiding to their offer. However because it was a small amount I did nothing. On 11/02/2010 I received a bottle of their products and the same day a charge was put in my account for $87.13. I immediately called them to complain and cancel the whole deal. The customer service person I spoke to was trying to sell me more items and insisting that the product is REALLY GOOD. I told them that I do not want anything to do with that company because of the way they conduct business and do not care if the product is good. They cancel my order and gave me a cancellation number. To avoid other charges I changed my debit card number the same day. However on 11/08/2010, they forced a charge of $87.13 into my account. I am working with my bank to dispute the charge.

Well I have just had the same problems. This company has charges me 87.13 for product I have not reveiced. I was on the phone for over 30 minutes and finally the person #60 said he was going to cancel my order. He wanted to send me a link and I told him you can cancel it right there in front of you. I had just done that, checking on another company. After the fight he said he was canceling the order. I have the link that somene nice enought to post so I will also cancel it that way, be careful when you try out a trial item. There 87.13 is a problem as the bank will not stop the charge. I have to wait until it posts and call back to file a dispute. what a pain. So I will be watching my account.

What a ripoff. I to have been charged 87.13 for product I have not received. I was on the phone for 30 minutes and finally #60(Francis) said he would cancel my order right there. He wanted to send a link and make it my problem to cancel. I told him that companies make so confusing to follow it never works. I will be looking for a cahrge back on my bank account. When speaking to bank they can not remove or stop a debit charge. even if they are told too by the customer. Now I have to wait for it to go through and call them back on a disput. Then comes the forms etc... DietMax is a fraud. do not be duped...

I placed my order for the "free trial" on October 26th and on November 2nd I saw the $87.47 charge on my credit card. You need to call [protected] Monday – Friday from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm EST . Tell them you want to cancel. Don't wait until your 10 days is up! They will then send you an email. It looks like a spam email with this in the FROM field: donotreply@donotreply.com and this in the SUBJECT field: Important Order Modification Information. Follow their instructions to the "T". I submitted my request to cancel on November 3rd and today, November 12th, the charge is still there. So I just called them today and they said in 10-15 business days my account will be credited. We shall see. I say we all call the news and make a big deal about this scam. How many people are getting ripped for $87 for a trial offer? They shouldn't even be allowed to debit your account until the 11th day anyways.

Contact the BBB, and have them deal with the company, it is your best bet and you wont be playing phone tag with the company. Also contact your credit card and let them know that there were unathorized charges to your account, your credit card should be able to put the money back on your card in a couple of days at the most. But please don't try to contact the company yourself, the Better Business Bureau will have much greater success.

I ordered Diet Max on 9/30/10 which gave me a free trial period of 10 days starting 9/30 to use the product. After the 10 days, the company would charge $87.13 if the customer didn't call to cancel any future product and charges. On the 10th day of my trial period 10/09/10, my bank informed me that I had been charged $87.13 on 10/07 @ 19:47. I immediately called diet max between the hours of 10 - 10:30am on 10/09/10 and spoke to a representative(Carla). I informed her of the charges and told her that i wanted to cancel the product and wanted a full refund for the money they had charged me on the eighth day of my trial period. She informed me that she would do it but I would not be getting a full refund because I had called on the 10th day. I tried to reason with her and told her that it was the morning of the 10th day and the terms and conditions say that I'm to be charged $87.13 upon completion of the 10 day trial period. I told her the 10th day had just began but she wouldn't budge. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was put through to Shanelle Gupirrev, who I retold everything. She informed that she would put my case to be reviewed and I would get an answer of my full refund in about 10 days and she gave me confirmation # 1899228C100910. Since then I kept calling but would be told that the case was still pending. On 10/25/10 I called to ask about the status of the review and the representative told me rudely that I wasn't eligible for a full refund. I demanded to be redirected to a supervisor and they kept me waiting for 20 mins. I hanged up and called again and they put me on hold for another 25 mins. I called again and spoke to supervisor Sandra Mendoza, who was extremely rude and would not listen to my case but kept insisting that i wasn't eligible for a full refund but they could give me a $20 credit. I refused and demanded my full amount but she told me that I canceled my order on 10/11/10. I informed her that it was on 10/09/10 and i had spoken to Carla. She completely ignored what i said and told me there would be no refund. I reread their terms and conditions to her and told her that they had gone against their agreement and charged me the full amount on the 8th day of the trial period and I was entitled to a full refund. She kept on insisting that I wasn't eligible for a full refund. I argued with her and told her that I had spoken with my bank and they had told me that should i not get my money back, i could dispute the claim and would need to have the name and confirmation number of the representative i would speak with. She gave me her name but refused to give a confirmation number and kept asking why I needed it. When I explained the reason, she rudely told me that if there wasn't anything else I wanted to discuss, she was going to hang up for she had other customers to deal with. After saying that, she hang up the phone on me.

I found this site trying to find out if the two guys who knocked on my door way past dark wanting to clean my carpet in one room and stairs were actually Kirby salesmen? I thought it awful hinky they would come up to a house that was completely dark and try to gain access to my house immediately after I had turned a light on in my kitchen. I am out in the suburbs with a private property sign posted on the tree right nest to the road by the driveway. It just didn't feel right and has me rattled. Does anyone know if these guys make house calls after dark and offer carpet cleaning in the Burton, Davison Mi area?

I was done the some way! No trial received but I did receive the full product, mailed it right back and was promised a refund. then again charged! No product, spoke with supervisor and was told the deduction would be cancelled immediately and the bank would not processed the request. Wrong it was deducted this morning, this company is a complete fraud and no one should order fromt his company. This refund had better be done immediately $166.83. I'm contacting the BBB and consumer affairs today. Also this ad came up on my IPHONE, I will make sure the website is shut down. I'm unemployed and I do not have the money for this but I have several friends that are attorneys and will make sure I now make this my full time job!

Never give any company your credit or bank info just to receive a trial of any product. Once they get your bank info they are gonna charge your card for the product even to your dissatisfaction. They have your authorization to be charged for the 3 dollars and then they abuse the privilege.

i orded sample on the 4/11/10 & got charged $87.47 to my debit card on the 7/11/10. i unsubscribed, canceled my debit card, & put in a dispute with my bank for a refund. what gets me about this company is that even if you get what they are chargeing you for, what gives them the right to bill you for something you dont order? even if you have a subscription, i thought you still had to place an order as you want them befor you can be charged anything.

I am fighting with this company also. I have let my credit card fraud division know about this company and its illegal charges without approval. I am also sending along a copy of all of the complaints with my credit companies own documentation to verify my claim. As one complaintant stated I am disgusted with myself for believing in this hype. Good luck to all in getting their own accounts resolved.

I too am fighting with this company. Usually I never put stock in any of these claims for diet pills but these seemed more reasonable. WRONG. I figured a 10-day trial period wouldn't be so bad and that if I didn't like the pills, I would cancel well within the 10 day trial. Well after 5 days, I had never received anything so I called and they told me that they would extend my trial period until the 19th of November. I called and cancelled the account on November 9; actually I tried cancelling the day before and they gave me the run around- so I called back and back until I finally got someone to agree to cancel it (they sent me the mysterious link- I had to get very firm with the lady- Kim). Well I noticed a pending transaction of $87.13 on my account this past Thursday and called the company to see what was up. They said it was a holding amount so that they could be sure I had enough money. I talked to Tanya Mendez (agent #312), who is a supervisor, and she assured me that the charges would not go through and that they would be gone in 2-3 business days. She also assured me that I had fully cancelled my account well within my trial (I also called my bank to let them know what was going on and establish some history in case I needed to file fraud charges). False. I checked my account this morning and I was charged for the full amount on Friday November 12! Upon further review, I noticed several smaller charges AND a very mysterious $39.99 charge just labeled "TRANSACTION" that I believe may be from Cure Colon or Colothin, another company that came in the deal. I received and paid for both trial products and never authorized any payments past the initial trial fee of $2.95. I have cancelled my card and put the fraud department of my bank on it... I am also planning on calling tomorrow and putting some more pressure. I would like a full refund- don't think that's too much to ask, especially since I only received my trial AND they made unauthorized charges. Good luck to everyone! I will let you know if I am successful and what happened. Buyers beware: this is a scam and they are just going to continue to charge you!

I just went through the whole BS crap with this company. They don't ship your product right away - hello the package is post marked - and yet try to blame the post office for it taking 12 days to be delivered to you. Then they come up with it's the terms and conditions in our website, how the hell are you suppose to try a trial sample and cancel in 10 days when you don't receive product for 12 and god forbid don't open the bottle or they'll charge you a 45% restocking fee for trying your trial sample. I notified them when I received the product and that I wanted a couple of days to try it, nothing was said about the restocking fee or the $1.49 convienence fee that you were going to be charged. I did send e-mail's saying I wanted to cancel before receiving the product and have been charged for doing this as well. I have never had a problem returning or getting my money back for any product that I've ordered with a trial period...this company is a joke that needs to be taught a lesson.
