Keep your dog away from this place!
Sorry for the long post.
If you love your pets NEVER let them stay at Dogtopia in Frederick, MD!
We did a board from Sept. 22nd-25th and not only did they lie about their pricing but my dog was injured the day I dropped her off and no one called me. I learned of it on Saturday and that was only when I asked how both dogs were doing because the webcams were not working. The worker claimed she was scratching at the crate, but my dog is 9 years old and has been board plenty times and never did anything like this. Later I learned it was the toenail on her back paw and not the front paw that was injured. When I picked up both dogs, her toenail was completely gone and she had a scratch on her nose. When I got her to the vet they said her injuries were more consistent with a fight than her scratching at a crate. They removed the rest of the imbedded nail and wrapped her paw. She is on antibiotic for 22 days and pain/anti-inflammatory meds for 5 days.
Following the vet appointment, I was able to speak with the owner, Marlene. I gave her the details. Her only explanation was her general manager was out, they had some new people, and there was a bad storm in the Frederick area which affected the cameras. Of course, I told her this was no excuse and then she mentioned the general manager was back today (how convenient) and they had to terminate someone. However, if there was a termination, it was not because of what happened to my dog. She never offered to cover any part of the vet bill, but made it sound like I should be grateful for the price I received because it was incorrect, and she still gave me the military discount. All I could do was shake my head in disbelief! I did not give myself the quote and the military discount is what they offer! She was neither empathic nor apologetic for what her employees let happen to my dog. It is NOT hard to believe they leave the dogs unattended because when everyone came out to the front to watch me. There was NO ONE in the room with the dogs! UNBELIVEABLE!
BEWARE of this place! If you love your dogs, DO NOT let them do daycare or boarding at this facility.
I don't like being asked to leave a tip with struggling dogs and trying to get into my car
I don't like being asked to leave a tip with struggling dogs and trying to get into my car. Stop asking for a tip.
I took my golden to Dogtopia for the first time today and it has been a complete nightmare
I took my golden to Dogtopia for the first time today and it has been a complete nightmare. After I left, I started watching the cameras and noticed that my dog was nowhere to be found. I called and they just said he was scared and put in a cage for a bit to calm down. I rushed over to get him. When I arrived, they told me a different story that he had been bathed without our permission because another dog attacked him and he had an accident. When we got home, we discovered blood all over our car and house. My dog has a big bite mark on his back that the staff at this place didn't bother to tell us about. When I called again, they told me yet another story that there was a fight. They never told me any of this without me having to ask why.
My dog got attacked at Dogtopia, resulting in high vet costs
My dog was attacked at Dogtopia, incurring over $1000 in vet bills. The owner downplayed the incident's severity. My dog sustained serious injuries due to another dog's aggression, which the vet confirmed. The staff's supervision was lacking in the overcrowded playroom. Safety is compromised when playrooms are filled to capacity. The staff member who allowed the aggressive dog failed in their duty. Negative reviews about Dogtopia's safety issues are concerning. The company's reliance on a liability waiver does not excuse their lack of responsibility. Such negligence could lead to a tragic outcome for someone's pet.
Had a terrible experience at Dogtopia in an undisclosed location
Had a terrible experience at Dogtopia. It was bad for me, but even worse for my dog, a small 8 lb Yorkie. He's on anti-anxiety medication. After a three-day boarding, I picked him up and he crawled to me, grunting and snorting. The assistant manager said, 'Oh, he just started doing that.' When I got him home, I noticed he had trouble breathing. I called the manager, and she claimed he was perfectly fine when he was there. She said he wouldn't take his medication with food, so she had to force it down his throat. I took him to an emergency vet, and due to the stress and grunting for three days, his throat was swollen, inflamed, and raw. He wouldn't have acted that way if she had given him his medicine. He wouldn't take it with his food or let her shove it down his throat, so she didn't give it to him. They ask for an emergency contact, but they never call them. They're too busy with their fundraisers and taking pictures to show how much fun the dogs are having there! Why do they turn off the webcams during naps at night and after 3:00 on Saturdays, as well as all day Sunday? There's no sound, so it's supposed to be quiet for sleeping. They don't want to be disturbed, but it's all a facade! They charged me for boarding and an exit fee to take my sick dog home and to an emergency vet. They took no responsibility for what happened to my dog and didn't even apologize! Dogtopia is terrible, and so is the care from the managers and staff!
This place don't know how to handle dogs or treat them right
This place don't know how to handle dogs or treat them right. I got a little 11 pound shih-tzu bichon frise mix female who's only 2.5 years old. Anyone who knows this breed knows that these dogs are the friendliest and cuddliest, most playful and calmest dogs in the world. The moment me and my wife brought her in, the lady at the front desk was being rude and didn't seem to care about our dog. They told us on the phone that our dog would go through a meet and greet to try and warm her up to other dogs. But instead, they just threw her right into a room with 15+ other dogs, which we saw on the camera. Within minutes, several other dogs started jumping on her and bothering her. She was crying and wanting to leave, but the workers didn't pay any attention. We also noticed that when a dog pees, they just mop it up and barely clean it. We rushed back to get her and saw the fear in her eyes after being there for less than half an hour. We also saw the workers dragging and choking bigger dogs in another room. It was complete animal abuse. And on top of that, they still tried to charge me for a full day, but I refused to pay and took my dog and left. The workers are rude and don't care about the dogs, there's animal abuse happening, and they don't keep things clean. It was a terrible experience and now my dog is traumatized. Don't ever bring your dog here.
If you got a dog or know someone with a dog that goes to Dogtopia at Cedar ***, listen up
If you got a dog or know someone with a dog that goes to Dogtopia at Cedar ***, listen up. I signed up my dog for daycare in December and was really excited for him to be there, so I upgraded my membership to unlimited visits. But after a few weeks, my dog started having constant diarrhea. When I asked what happened, the staff said he ate another dog's poop. They can't keep an eye on every dog, apparently. Then one night when I went to pick him up, they told me he got into the mop bucket, but don't worry, it's not toxic. I asked how that could happen, and they just said he's a puppy and he gets into things. Well, he ended up having diarrhea for the next two days and had to take medicine from the vet to help with it. Then one day, they told me he ate a piece of plastic from an employee's pocket, and again, no one took responsibility. Another day, he got into the mop bucket again, and this time I actually saw it on the webcam from my office. Finally, on 02/15/22, I had a phone call with the manager, and we agreed that if my dog was caught eating poop again, he would be told no and put in a crate for a time-out. Hopefully, he would learn that there are consequences for eating poop. I was glad they were willing to try something. But the very next day, they told me he had diarrhea twice, and when I said his poop was fine in the morning, they said he had eaten three different dogs' poop. I wrote a letter saying I was taking him out of daycare because they don't watch him at all. I took him to the vet on Friday, gave a poop sample, and got a call this morning saying he tested positive for parasites and needs medication for the next two weeks! That means there's a dog or dogs at daycare with parasites.
Dogtopia of South Salt Lake City: Pros include interacting with dogs, complimentary snacks, and gaining animal care experience
Dogtopia of South Salt Lake City: Pros include interacting with dogs, complimentary snacks, and gaining animal care experience. They appreciate you until you discuss unionizing or challenge their decisions. Favoritism influences promotions, disregarding work quality. Compensation doesn't match the workload, and diligence goes unrewarded. Tardiness can lead to demotion, and emergencies require you to find a replacement or face unsafe conditions, such as illness or overcrowded rooms. Schedules may change abruptly, even hours before a shift. There's no sick leave or PTO; excessive absences or lateness can lead to termination or disciplinary action. Animal mistreatment may be overlooked temporarily. Management may ignore concerns unless they pertain to staff advancement. Regardless of performance or compliance, personal dislike can affect job security. Breaks are scarce, with a single 15-minute pause in an 8-hour shift, while some staff may work longer without any. Pet owners often prioritize their pets over staff welfare. Promotions lack proper training, with inconsistent policy enforcement. Facilities are poorly maintained, with substandard equipment and infrequent cleaning. Ultimately, the workplace resembles a high school environment within a dog daycare.
Steer clear of this new pet care facility due to negative experiences
Steer clear of this new pet care facility. My dog suffered severe injuries here. The wounds took over a week to drain and a month to heal. Reviewing the footage, it was clear another dog attacked mine without provocation. Instead of removing the aggressive dog, they rotated it with mine, leading to my dog being crated often. Promises of frequent playtime were broken, as confirmed by webcam. Staff confusion led to my dog being exposed to the aggressive one again. Observing through the webcam, I noticed discrepancies in their stories about my dog's activities. Moreover, the grooming services here are alarming; I've heard a dog in extreme distress during a supposed bath. My dog also picked up bad habits and started disobeying commands after spending time here. The facility's dishonesty is evident, and the cameras reveal the reality of their poor practices.
Luckily for me, my pup wasn't hurt at Dogtopia like I've seen many others write about, but I'm extremely disappointed in Dogtopia's lack of care
Luckily for me, my pup wasn't hurt at Dogtopia like I've seen many others write about, but I'm extremely disappointed in Dogtopia's lack of care and customer service I received today. I scheduled my pup for daycare about a week prior to the date and confirmed that I would be able to drop her off 30 minutes early. They confirmed and said they would leave a note for the opening staff. When I arrived, no one was in the lobby to take my pup. The staff tells me they don't open until 7, so clearly they didn't receive the note, which made me late to work. They also advertised a Dogchella event, which is why I wanted her to attend in the first place, only to find out they canceled the event with no notice to the pet parents. I also requested to have my pup bathed, dried, brushed, teeth brushed, and nails trimmed before my 5 pm pick up. When I arrived, they just started her bath. I looked in the spa room, and the employee was clearly frustrated. She left my pup unattended in the spa room to come out to the lobby for other pet parents. I overheard her tell another parent that they canceled the event due to a bunch of employees who called off work. I looked up at the screen, and only 1 room was being supervised. The puppy group was left unattended. As she's running back and forth grabbing pups to go home, I can hear my pup in the spa room screaming because she's getting dried and she's in complete darkness! She clearly didn't see I was in the lobby the entire time. I go to check out, and she tells me that no hair came out while brushing my pup, so she won't charge me for brushing. My pup is a Siberian Husky. That was a blatant lie. She didn't even attempt to brush her because the minute I even pet my pup, there's hair everywhere. When I finally got my pup to go home, she was soaked. I paid for spa services just to receive a wet dog, not brushed nor dried. I didn't get my dog until 5:30, which caused me to miss her vet appointment! I won't be attending Dogtopia again.
Dogtopia of **** I had to think long and hard about writing this review because at first, I was happy with the service
Dogtopia of *** I had to think long and hard about writing this review because at first, I was happy with the service. I have two Goldendoodles - one is shy and observant, while the other is playful and curious. Neither of them causes any trouble at daycare. But lately, I've been experiencing recurring issues that I can't ignore anymore. Some are just minor inconveniences, but others pose a risk to safety and health. I was informed that my shy dog got bitten, and it really hurt him. The bite broke his skin and made it swell up. The puppy who bit him was still learning how to behave (in one of their classes) and wanted to keep playing even though my dog was trying to walk away. As a result, my dog had to be shaved and developed a nasty infection that spread. I had to pay a $256 vet bill. He's still sensitive in that area, and his fur hasn't fully grown back yet, but it's growing in a different color. I understand that sometimes things happen that are out of anyone's control. But what bothered me the most was that the owner never bothered to call and check on my dog. He got bitten at their facility, and they never reached out to me once. My dog had to stay away from daycare for a long time to heal and for the infection to go away. I never received any words of concern from the owner until I reached out to him. They did mention that my two dogs would no longer be placed in that specific room. They assured me that the staff was informed, and it was even noted in their computer records. But time and time again, I saw them in the room with the aggressive dogs, including the one that bit mine. They didn't keep their promise. I saw it on the cameras. When I asked the owner about it, he brushed off my concerns. This is not acceptable, especially when there's a history of an aggressive dog that has already attacked. I'm not sure if dealing with the frustration, health issues, and constant lack of financial oversight is worth continuing with their services.

Me and my hubby started takin' our dogs to Dogtopia of Warwick when they was six months old, goin' three times a week for playtime and socializin'. They're now just over a year old. In the past six months, they both got Kennel Cough and Giardia twice. This led to over $3,000 in vet visits and meds. The staff at Dogtopia are nice, but they ain't good at spotin' and handlin' sick dogs that could harm other dogs' health (like coughin' and havin' loose poop). This place has a lot of staff turnover, so our pups never get experienced and well-trained humans who are consistent. We thought they'd call us if our dogs seemed sick, but we only found out when we picked 'em up and they were sick in the car. When I told the manager, ***, they didn't do nothin' 'bout it. I also talked to *** 'bout another staff member treatin' our German Shepherd like she was violent when we dropped her off. I gotta say, *** ain't never been violent. She's excited, but not violent. Jessica said the front desk staff ain't "trained" to handle dogs. I don't think someone scared of dogs should work at a dog place, period. They never fixed that problem. Other staff said the neglect our dogs faced was 'cause of the old manager, even though they got a whole team who's supposed to be trained for over 100 hours and an owner who's never around. The owner, ***, never contacted us. He's always in meetin's and never around the place. He sent one email sayin' he wanted to talk, but he never reached out. We got two dogs, a German Shepherd named *** and an *** Shepherd named ***. Our *** Shepherd got kicked outta Dogtopia 'cause he nipped someone. We followed Dogtopia's advice and took him to trainin' there and worked with him at home. Even when we missed a class, we made it up later. But all them trainin' classes didn't do much 'cept standin' around and givin' our dog treats every few seconds and puttin' him in a crate to calm down. Dogtopia made that course. My dogs are calm in a crate and fully trained for it. I ain't sure if this place can handle takin' care of our puppies and keepin' 'em healthy. The mop buckets they use ain't never cleaned after each use, and the water in 'em is just dirty water to clean up another mess from a sick dog. We seen it on camera and our vet said it's exposin' our dogs to harm. The dogs lick the floor and get sick. The rooms look nice, but the skills and cleanliness of this place ain't what you expect. The owner and manager got back at us by sayin' our dogs, who been goin' there for six months, are now unmanageable 'cause we brought up these concerns.

I went to one of your locations in Norwalk Ct, I gave my dog for a day care. and when I came back to pick him up, I was told that they will not charge for day care and for the bath I asked them I did not ask for a bath only day care they told me Well what had happened was that. when giving him a bath he started bleeding I was ok, when they brought the dog...

Dogtopia caused a life-threatening bowel obstruction to my dog on 3/10/23. The lack of supervision of their staff allowed my dog to consume feces from other dogs, as well as a cleaning material, maybe a paper towel or a poop bag. My dog vomited and had diarrhea three times that day at Dogtopia, and the staff didn't call me once between 9:30am-6:00pm. They only notified me when I picked up my dog in person at the end of the day, around 6:15pm. Because of this, I couldn't take my dog to his regular vet as I couldn't communicate with them. This delay allowed my dog's obstruction to become impacted and critical. I had to rush my dog to an after-hours emergency vet, and it cost me nearly $700.
The manager, ***, called me over the following weekend to explain why they didn't contact me when my dog was sick. She said that sometimes they can't catch dogs before they consume things. She also admitted that they let my dog continue to play with other dogs after vomiting, which exposed every other animal to potential illness. She promised that the owner of this franchise, ***, would contact me on 3/13/23, but I haven't received any correspondence from him. Today, I texted and emailed ***, but I haven't heard back from her either.
I demand a refund for every cent I paid to Dogtopia. My dog visited nine times, costing me $33 per visit, so I want Dogtopia to refund me the total of $297. They kept my dog in an unsupervised, unsanitary, and questionable environment. After reading other angry reviews from pet parents, it seems like the *** Dogtopia establishment should be investigated by animal regulatory agencies like PETA for negligence, abuse, unscrupulous business practices, and hygiene.
My dog was boarded for a week. I provided detailed instruction on how my senior dog should be taken care of and have limited activity. Dogtopia accepted my dog for a week but 4 days ***, I was asked to pick him up. He was given too much medication which affected his state and made him lethargic. Dogtopia stressed my dog out and us during our vacation . Requesting $200 refund for my dogs stay. It cost us too much to have him picked up early and find
I had a grooming appointment for my dog this morning at Dogtopia's main branch
I had a grooming appointment for my dog this morning at Dogtopia's main branch. The appointment was at 9 A.M. We arrived early, but the groomer was late. The receptionist mentioned one groomer is punctual, the other not so much. After waiting, they couldn't contact the groomer. I left, called another branch to reschedule, and was promised a callback from the manager. Instead, the same employee informed me the groomer had an accident. I understand emergencies, but I'm skeptical due to the groomer's history of tardiness and lack of communication from the branch. I had also requested an online account a month ago without a response. With summer approaching, I know groomers are busy, but I expect better service and communication. Currently, I'm reconsidering my patronage of Dogtopia unless they resolve this issue promptly.

On Friday June 17th, I dropped off my Goldendoodle, ****, at Dogtopia of Boca Raton around 7am
On Friday June 17th, I dropped off my Goldendoodle, ***, at Dogtopia of Boca Raton around 7am. At 9:02am, I got a call from a guy whose name I didn't catch. He said he's a manager from another place, filling in for ***, the current manager at Boca Raton. He told me *** had a little "fight" with one of her "buddies," but she seemed fine and was playing like usual. He even sent me a pic (attached) of the supposed "wound." So, based on what I heard, I decided to leave her at doggy daycare for the rest of the day. Later, around 2pm, I checked the cameras and saw her sitting in a corner with her head down. Eventually, she just laid there for the rest of the day. When I talked to *** on Friday June 17th, 2022 at 5:31pm, she said *** didn't look like she needed medical attention, but she suggested I take her in if I thought it was necessary. Well, *** had a bunch of wounds on her body, including a two-inch deep hole on her side that was infected and definitely needed medical attention! I took her to Bluepearl emergency animal hospital around 9:30pm. Then, on Monday June 20th, 2022 at 9:50am, I took *** to my regular vet, who prescribed a bunch of meds from both the emergency vet and her primary vet. I'm so upset about how they handled this situation. And all they said was that Dogtopia isn't responsible for ***'s vet bills and that the other dog's owner should pay?!? I still haven't seen any payment for the vet bills I had to pay with my credit card, which is racking up interest. It feels like the whole staff just brushed me off and didn't even bother to call and check on her. I attached pics of what they sent me and what she actually had.
The manager at Dogtopia, *** has shown us videos of our dog's interactions before
The manager at Dogtopia, *** has shown us videos of our dog's interactions before. She's an English bulldog, and sometimes she instinctively charges at strangers entering a room. To prevent any issues, they cage her when other dogs come in or leave. There have been a couple of instances in the past where *** showed us recorded videos to explain her behavior.
On 3/18/23, we boarded our dog at the *** location while we were away. We got a call from ***'s personal cellphone, informing us about an incident between our dog and another dog. They said the other dog had a puncture that our dog supposedly caused. Immediately, I asked *** for the recorded footage, just like she had shown us before. However, she mentioned a corporate policy that prevented them from releasing the footage. It's quite suspicious that they suddenly blame my dog for causing a puncture, especially since she has never done this before, and we can't see the footage when it's convenient for the business. They also mentioned that we would be financially responsible for the vet bills of the other dog. I asked for the vet's contact information, but they refused to give it to me.
Our dog doesn't display these behaviors outside of Dogtopia. They also informed us that she's no longer allowed for daycare or boarding at this location. The manager claims that her staff recently told us about these behaviors, but that's not true. We were only shown one video of her charging at a dog six months ago, and we worked on the issue, but we never heard back from Liz's team.
***, the owner, was disrespectful and dismissive of my concerns and suspicions about what really happened and why *** could show video footage in the past but not in this situation. I informed him that we won't pay any vet bills until they provide evidence that our dog caused the puncture wound, specifically the video evidence they have on file.
Topics: unauthorised charges, false advertising, sexism
Topics: unauthorised charges, false advertising, sexism. On 9/12/2022, Dogtopia of Bethesda charged me for overnight boarding services that I did not request. I tried to contact them six times over six weeks, but each call resulted in excuses like "the owner isn't here" or "the owner will contact you" (which never happened), or they claimed that the issue had been refunded (which it wasn't). Finally, the owner called me back, but instead of addressing the unauthorised charges, he used sexist pet names and admitted to misleading advertising. He only wanted to discuss their weekly daycare program, which I had previously signed up for. However, my call was specifically to dispute the charges for extra nights of boarding that I did not ask for. I made this very clear. He refused to acknowledge the unauthorised charges for services I did not request or receive, and he blamed me for "not reading the contract before signing" for the weekly daycare services. The employees had explicitly told me that it was a "pay as you go each week" arrangement, not a recurring subscription. The daycare issue was not the problem, and I had already cancelled that subscription weeks ago. I informed him of this, but he continued to say that many customers had the same misunderstanding and ended up paying each week until they requested a cancellation. I asked him why he hadn't corrected the misinformation provided by his employees or provided the full contract for customers to review instead of just a small portion. He evaded my questions and continued to use condescending and sexist names like "Miss Georgia," "my lady," and "sweetie" instead of addressing the actual dispute. Despite my repeated attempts to redirect the conversation to the unauthorised charges, he kept talking in circles about the subscription program. No resolution was ever reached.
Dogtopia Union dismissed my dog on 9/21/22, but they keep charging $81.57 from my account every week
Dogtopia Union dismissed my dog on 9/21/22, but they keep charging $81.57 from my account every week. They owe me $326.28 as of 10/18/22. On the evening of 9/21/22, I got a call from a front desk worker who said her boss told her to inform me about my dog's dismissal. She seemed uncomfortable giving me the news, and I was upset, so I asked to talk to a manager for a clear explanation. I reached out to Dogtopia of Union on 10/11/22 to let them know that I was still being billed after the dismissal. I also requested to speak with a manager again. The front desk worker said sorry and promised that a manager would call me back that day. But until now, no one from Dogtopia has contacted me about this issue.
When I went to pick up my dog on 9/21, the front desk worker told me that my dog had been involved in two fights that day. They said he didn't start the first one, but he initiated the second one and hurt a 5-month-old puppy. I was worried and very upset when I found out about the incident and that Dogtopia didn't inform me right away. Dogtopia didn't know if the puppy was hurt, but they mentioned that my dog dragged the puppy shortly after the first fight in their shared playroom. Why was my dog allowed to roam and play without supervision so soon after being in a fight? Also, when I picked up my dog that day, I noticed that he was placed in a crate next to a dog who bit him on 6/23/22, which my dog didn't start. I've spent over $10,000+ at Dogtopia Union. I asked why the dog who bit mine on 6/23 was still allowed to go to Dogtopia even though he has started many fights. They said he went through training and was improving. Please note that this dog bit my dog in the mouth and wouldn't let go. I want to know why my dog didn't get the same chance to go through training instead of just being dismissed.

I patronized a franchise on Broadway that shut down in December . I was informed by email about the closure and a promised refund for prepaid visits. However, I have not received the refund nor any further updates. I've contacted Dogtopia's corporate through their website and attempted to call the now-defunct location. I am awaiting a refund of approximately $600.

On July 15 I took my dog Cookie to Dogtopia of Woodbridge for daycare for the first time
On July 15 I took my dog Cookie to Dogtopia of Woodbridge for daycare for the first time. Toward the end of daycare I received a text which read "Cookie received a few scratches during some playtime with a younger pup. They are shallow but her short hair did cause some redness and inflammation. She is not bothered at all by them and has been on her best behavior! Feel free to text back or call with any questions." Pictures were requested, in which I didn't receive a response. After that I went to pick Cookie up and when I arrived I was told that she had minor scratches, but when I saw her she had two noticeable scratches on her mouth that were bleeding. I asked to see the camera footage of the scuffle but was told they didn't have it. Since then the cuts on her mouth haven't completely healed. Whenever I think that they have fully healed, they reopen. She isn't able to play comfortably, and has to stop prematurely, sutures are definitely required. This is a problem for her and I.

I boarded my 3 small dogs the week of the 4th of July
I boarded my 3 small dogs the week of the 4th of July. I picked up 3 dogs 9 days later sick and with Kennel Cough. I asked the owner *** if he can help me pay the vet *** since the dogs where in his care. He immediately rambled on to say these things happen. Just like when you get a flu shot, chances you can get sick. All 3 of my dogs went in perfectly well. There concern is if my dogs where vaccinated, yes! I provided what they needed and paid a good amount for there boarding. The least the owner could do was call the vet that boards with him and take care of my dog. I've boarded with Pet Paradise numerous times and never once did my dogs get sick. They had ample space to play and not a lot of dogs in the same room. They also have a vet on staff. My dogs got sick while boarding with Dogtopia. I was also told after I picked up my dogs that one of the had blood coming out of its mouth. She went on to say the "puppy" lost teeth. I don't have a puppy. After confronting the owner ***, h

I had a recent alarming experience with dogtopia in a local branch. I had been bringing my puppy there for daycare, however a few weeks ago he came home and was violently ill. Projectile vomiting all over my home. Eventually he started to throw up pieces of blanket. Long story short, while at dogtopia he was somehow able to ingest shredded blanket pieces. I called them about this issue, speaking to the manager. Her response was that he needs to be able to be in the room and not eat blanket. There was no apology and not even a question of how he was. She told me I would hear back soon from the owners. I never did. I attempted to call the corporate office numerous times. There was no answer to any extension, and all voicemails were full. I am very concerned about dogs being sent to this particular dogtopia. Dogs eat things, and if there is not proper supervision, what is to stop this from happening again? My puppy could have died if he had not vomited this all up. My vet bills for this were substantial. I feel like I should be reimbursed for those costs, and the remaining days of my daycare packages.

...So last Friday, I dropped her off around 10:30 am, asked the manager to feed her, and left my dog's backpack with her lunch, blanket, and pillow inside. Around 7:00 pm, I went to pick her up, and to my surprise, they didn't feed her. The manager said, "Oh, she usually doesn't eat here," And replayed, "She doesn't it when it half-day!" she answered, saying that my dog didn't want to eat. But all the belongs were precisely the same way I had put inside earlier, so I knew she was not telling the truth. So, I asked about the blanket, and she answered me back saying that they were on short staff and couldn't offer the blankets. And let me point out here that they close the office from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm, no cameras on, no answering calls, and office doors closed during the dogs' break! But apparently, they were swamped doing the services we are paying for it!I would not mind paying an extra fee for lunch or a blanket thing, but please do not offer a service that you can not compromise with it!I thought about it the whole weekend. My dog spent hidden in the closet during the weekend avoiding me, and she had never done that! She is very sweet and enjoys getting close as much she can!So on Monday, I emailed the location, asking for the account cancellation and the balance refund of 8 full days (U$ ***). However, the manager answered, saying they couldn't refund me because I should request 30 days before, and the monthly plan I had paid expires on March 9th...So, I am complaining here and asking the help of ComplaintsBoard.com to receive my money back!

I've been very pleased with my experience at the pet care facility in their local branch
I've been very pleased with my experience at the pet care facility in their local branch. However, I have a concern regarding unused services. On 10/25, I bought 10 full-day passes from Dogtopia after my dog recovered from surgery. Unfortunately, she fell ill, showing symptoms like coughing and appetite loss. The vet diagnosed her with an upper respiratory infection, and I refrained from taking her to Dogtopia. Despite treatment, her cough lingered, and I continued to keep her home. I had to cancel a scheduled visit on 11/22 due to her cough returning. After multiple vet visits, her cough was finally attributed to seasonal allergies, but by then, the remaining 7 passes expired. I contacted Dogtopia for a refund but was denied. I've spent over $400 for the 10 days and would like a refund for the 7 unused days. I've attempted to discuss a pass transfer or refund with the manager and was told it wasn't possible. They offered to extend the pass, but the Dogtopia location is now inconveniently far. My dog hasn't used her 7 remaining days, valued at $35 each, and I'm requesting a refund for the unused balance. Thank you.
