A month ago I went into Dollarama ST Paul, AB. I spent over 50 buying and getting food and supplies to last me a month. I did this every month. Being on disability, I bought 10 bowls of the chicken flavor instant noodle my favorite. The next day July 27 I made a bowl for myself and tried to eat it. Not only did it taste bad and make me sick. I smelt it and smelt some kinda cleaner or cat litter in the soup. I threw that one out. The next day 28 I tried to make another one and added hot water to it and smelt the same order again. Cleaner or cat litter and made me sick again. I e-mailed Dollarama and told them what Happened, they tried to poisen me. Took them two weeks to call an email me back. I talked to Jasmine with there customer service, told her everything. She asked me to send her pitchers of the lids off the bowlfull chicken flavor instant noodle soup with the lot number and the best before date. October 2018. I got one email saying they are sorry and would like to send me a 10 dollar gift card for my trouble. Not only a slap in the face but they poisoned me made me sick and want me to shop with them again. I have called the store they are still selling the soup and still won't give me any information. I want to sue them. Looking for laywer.
I've bought TONS of these noodles and never had any problems with any of them. I can't have the regular instant noodles because I'm gluten intolerant, so I can't eat the ones made with wheat. These noodles are perfect because they're rice noodles. So I don't know what this Original Poster is talking about. My aunt buys them too and she loves them as well. She also has a gluten intolerance and I never heard her complaining about these noodles. I think the OP is probably looking for a quick payout. Sorry, but that's what I think... Especially since she admits she has a disability and admits she wants to sue. Definitely looking for a quick buck it looks like! I tried both the beef flavour and the chicken flavour and they're both fine...
I buy these noodles all the time too for the same reason ... Now they are no longer in store :'( cheap and easy to make ... add a little (or alot) of siracha for added flavour ... and it holds me until dinnertime when I have more time to make something healthy. I sure wish they would bring them back ... am on the last bowl I bought from dollerama last month.
Yes, seriously agree with you. They are by far the best rice vermicelli soups I have ever tried. And no gluten in them, to boot! I was so disappointed that Dollarama no longer carries them. I used to buy every single one on the shelves when they were available. It's very difficult to find any soup like this that is gluten-free, much less a soup that tastes this good. Great for snacks, before bed, when you are in a hurry and can't make dinner early enough. I no longer have any left either. Ate my last one yesterday and found this site while I was searching to find them to buy online. No such luck. So far... Hope Dollarama reads these responses and brings them back!
I to have celica and can not have the regular noodles... I love the bowlfull rice vermicelli noodles... I would buy a bunch every time that I went into the dollarama . The last few time tho I have not been able to get them.. Please bring them back as people with gluten intollerance or celiac then can have instant noodles for lunches . we are soo limited to what we can have as it is.
The people saying they are rice noodles, they aren't. It says firat ingredient for the noodles is wheat. I have the same problem, the chicken stock package smells like cat piss. It's disgusting.
