unauthorized credit card charges
On September 4, 2022 while in the park I visited Guest Services to inquire about available promotions for renewing our Gold Season Passes. Rather than giving me the information, the representative renewed the passes at a higher rate than advertised. When I told her I did not approve the renewal, she said she could not refund the charge. I asked for a Supervisor and a young man, not a Supervisor, just another rep came to the window and said there was no way to refund the charge.
On the Dorney Park website the charge to renew a Gold Pass is $104 and I was charged $114 for each pass plus tax totaling $239.40. I filled out the form to contact Dorney Park and have not received a response. The next step will be to dispute the charge with our credit card company if I do not receive a response by tomorrow.
Desired outcome: Either to have the charge refunded or the difference between the advertised price of the tickets and the price we paid.
Luigis pizza
Hello I would like to place a complaint against Luigis Pizza in the wild water kingdom. First I wait 1 hour and 28 minutes for my food. I ordered a cheese pizza basket, salad, cheese fries, and two waters. When I got to the counter the ticket for my order only had half my order listed on it. I requested a salad they were out so they tried to exchange food for the salad. There was a ton of food being made that wasn't being used. It was chaos and my two nephews missed out on almost two hours at the park. It made me think I never want to come back here again. Please fix this problem for others. Thank you.
Desired outcome: Train the staff, get a new pos system
tickets/dining package
I purchased 4 adult tickets and 4 dining packages for Dorney Park. We were to be there on July 25. First of all more than half the concession stands were closed. Had to basically walk a country mile to find an open drink stand. The offerings on the dining package was burgers, hot dogs and chicken fingers and french fries. Drinks were not included. I ended up having to buy souvenir cups at $13.99 each. I purchased 4 of them. We rode rides and splashed around in the water park for a few hours. We went to eat at Coasters diner in the park. When we made our order we were told we would have to wait about 10 minutes, they turned everything off because they were closing. It was only about 7pm. The park was supposed to stay open until 10pm. While we were eating we were told to exit out the side doors because the others were locked as they were closing. After eating we left and went in search of funnel cakes and ice cream. We were approached by an employee saying the park was closed and we had to leave. It was because it was raining. It wasn't raining very hard. I wanted to pick up my photo's that were taken when my family and I entered the park and get souvenir's. The photo shop was closed and so was the souvenir shop. I feel as though I was ripped off because the park advertises closing time as 10 pm. And also their policy for weather is not to closed when it's just raining. It's advertised on their facebook page. I would have liked to been able to shop for souvenirs and buy the photo's.

Water toys in pools
We were at the WWK on 7/10 and we were told by one of your employees we cannot use the Snoopy squirt tube in the pool. I know the sign said no water toys in the waterpark (not just the pool we were in) but what does not make sense to me is that we bought this toy IN one of the stores in the water park on 05/28 & we used it in the pool all day and no one told us not to. It felt like the park just make money out of guests by selling merchandise that is not allowed in the park in the first place. I also do not understand how a policy could change in a month. Be clear with your policy. If no water toys are allowed in the pool, then do NOT sell said toys! I felt like you took my money for buying the Snoopy squirt tube and we cannot use it for what it is intended.
I submitted this feedback thru Dorney's website and I received a reply that my feedback has been forwarded to the appropriate department.

Rip off at Dorney Park
Four Weeks ago my Kids went to spend the day at Dorney park they paid a total of 210.93 they were there for 1/2 hour when their stuff was stolen when they tried to leave the water park to report this. they were told by security that they couldn’t be in the park without shirts and shorts which was in the bag that was stolen along with their money and cell phones.
they were very upset and filed 4 reports with the park and also at the police station since the were not allowed in the park without clothes they asked for tickets to come back another time they were told no and asked for a refund which they also said no. to charge them and not let them in the park is awful. I asked for a refund and was told the check was on Kelly Dilbecks desk to be signed she then called me and said she would send tickets.
this is so unfair we will never go there again and feel we deserve a refund.
