Got there on June 13th after buying tickets online (I live in TN) - got 4 tickets
Got there on June 13th after buying tickets online (I live in TN) - got 4 tickets. 65% of the rides were closed and the ones that were open kept shutting down during the day. This is a scam and all they said was, "you could have checked Facebook." Their posts on FB don't say anything about closed rides and you buy tickets on their website and there's nothing there either. Paid over $200 and I feel like I deserve a refund.
This park ain't doing so hot, y'all
This park ain't doing so hot, y'all. They keep chargin' full price but don't bother tellin' folks that most of the rides ain't even open. You fork over a bunch of cash thinkin' you're gonna have a good time, but then you get there and they tell you it's all "shut down" for the day or week. And when you complain to the bigwigs, all they say is "no refunds." I could maybe understand if just a couple things were closed, but dang near the whole park is shut down and they don't do nothin' 'bout the prices or warnin' folks ahead of time. It's a straight-up scam, like payin' for a buffet with only two measly options. Ain't nobody gonna be happy 'bout that!
Me and my hubby went to Magic Springs on May 30 for our anniversary
Me and my hubby went to Magic Springs on May 30 for our anniversary. We rode one ride and were waiting for another when a 17-year-old worker asked me if I wanted to wear his hoodie. I said no, and he said I couldn't ride the ride. He said my outfit was inappropriate, even though I was wearing jeans, sneakers, and a halter top. Before I got on the ride, multiple shirtless men were allowed on. At the same time, a woman in a bikini, a shirtless man, and another woman in a backless swimsuit were allowed on the ride. Only after my hubby pointed them out were they also kicked off. We went to management, and they said my outfit was against the dress code, even though there is no dress code on their website. We drove 2 hours to spend one hour in the park and only got to ride one ride because of my halter top. This situation was ridiculous and demeaning. They need to teach their employees to do better.
Magic Springs Theme and Water Park Complaints 5
Few of the attractions were operating without explanation
My family of six visited the park on Friday August 4th 2023, to find that after paying close to $300 admission fees, that approximately a quarter of the amusement park and water park were operational without explanation.
In fact, we spent more time walking around trying to locate an attraction that was operational than we did enjoying anything the park had to offer, which in this case, was not very much.
The workers were uninformed and did not know which attractions were operational and certainly could offer no explanation as to why they were not running. Maybe a staffing issue? Maintenance issues? No one seemed to know.
After braving the extreme temperatures on Friday to visit the park and paying full admission prices for a quarter of the attractions, we vowed never to return until there is an overhaul in the way business is conducted there.
As a family we were extremely disappointed in our visit to your park after weeks of anticipation. It certainly did not come close to our expectations.
Desired outcome: Partial refund due to only partial access to attractions.
I bought season passes for Magic Springs Theme and Water Park before the COVID-19 thing started
I bought season passes for Magic Springs Theme and Water Park before the COVID-19 thing started. But now I don't feel safe taking my kids to an amusement park. I asked for my money back in *** but they said I could only use the passes next year. But I won't be around next year, so I asked for a refund. I've been calling them over and over, but they keep saying they need to check. It's been two months and I still haven't got my money back.
I got my mother in law and grandmother in law season passes to Magic Springs
I got my mother in law and grandmother in law season passes to Magic Springs. We had a bad time this year at that park. Over half of the rides were closed and now we don't want to go. I don't get how a park like that can still charge so much when not even 50% of things work right. I asked about a refund last time we were there and they said no, no refunds, no exceptions.

I got a season pass for me and my two kids, spending almost 200 bucks
I got a season pass for me and my two kids, spending almost 200 bucks. I'm a single mom and don't have a lot, but I wanted to bond and make their summer special. When we got to the park, 70% was not in operation, and there were no disclosures on the site that that much was closed, so I got the passes. Only 2 adult roller coasters were open, the gauntlet and the plunge. Only 2 adult rides! Only one water slide was working at crystal springs. ONE! The plunge shut down for a few hours, and then what took the cake is we went to ride the gauntlet one more time and stayed in line. The operator shut it down at 5 after making people wait for 30 min or more. It wasn't mechanical; it's cause the guy running it didn't want to be there. I want a full refund immediately.
I got season passes for my fam and kids and the 2 times we went only got to go to wave pool bc it was too crowded and not a lot was open
I got season passes for my fam and kids and the 2 times we went only got to go to wave pool bc it was too crowded and not a lot was open. We drove an hour and a half and they had a sign up what was closed but you don't know about it until you get to the theme park. It should be posted on the website every day before we drive up there. Also, I feel our season passes should be partially refunded due to not everything being open and long lines due to overcrowding. The wave pool was nice where parents sit and watch their kids or relax until little kids jump off right next to you. Certain life guards blow whistle and say no jumping but then they switch off and you got another life guard just sits there and doesn't say anything. Very rude. I understand there are kids but jumping into water next to you is rude. I'm glad we got passes just feel they should cut us more of a deal.
