Did a fast repair on the leak in my roof
Did a fast repair on the leak in my roof. Very pleased with the entire process. Dr. Roof Atlanta was super helpful and got the job done quick. The workers were nice and professional. They fixed the leak and made sure everything was good to go. The price was fair too. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing roof repairs.
Dr. Roof Atlanta installed our roof replacement
Dr. Roof Atlanta installed our roof replacement. In fact, this is our second time working with Dr. Roof (first time was in April). Just like before, the whole process (from getting a quote, to the actual installation, to removing the waste bin) was easy, dependable, done with great care, and completed on schedule. I would definitely recommend Dr. Roof to anyone who needs to fix or replace their roof.
We got our roof done by Dr
We got our roof done by Dr. Roof a couple years back. Lately, we had a small leak in the attic 'cause of a mistake made during the installation of a new furnace up there and a few days of heavy rain (the PVC pipe got jiggled and flipped a vent piece on the roof). *** was awesome in assisting us. Sean figured out the problem pretty fast, fixed it up, and even gave us some pics of the area before and after. We'd definitely go with Dr. Roof again and we're thinking about hiring them for some window and paint jobs too.
I picked Dr
I picked Dr. *** to fix my roof and do some repairs on the soffits and fascia and *** siding before painting my house, shed, and deck. I'm real pleased with the crews that did all the work and the results too. They worked in the cold weather (Nov. for the roof and Dec. for the repairs and painting). All the staff I met before and during the jobs were great too. I looked over the quotes real careful, asked questions, and had no surprises when each job was done. I'd use them again without thinking twice.
The roof job was alright, I guess (two stars for that), but the billing part is the absolute worst
The roof job was alright, I guess (two stars for that), but the billing part is the absolute worst. They didn't even tell me how to pay in the beginning. I never got any bills electronically or by mail until I got an overdue email out of the blue. The worst part is that they slapped on an extra fee of $132, which wasn't mentioned in the quote or on the day of the service. They just surprise you with it when the bill arrives. Watch out for that if you're thinking about using their service. Dr. Roof is definitely not on my good list. This was my first time using them, and it'll be my last.
Dr. Roof Atlanta recently made a change in their policy for telemarketers
Dr. Roof Atlanta recently made a change in their policy for telemarketers. They were instructed not to schedule appointments for roofs that are less than 10 years old. This is quite different from what they were initially told when they joined the company. The telemarketers used to receive bonuses for each appointment they successfully set. However, with this new restriction, it has become much harder for them to earn those bonuses. To make matters worse, they have been informed that the owner of the company is currently in a location with poor internet service, which means he cannot approve their bonuses. I find this situation highly questionable! These hardworking telemarketers dedicate a significant amount of time away from their families to make these calls, and their bonuses are an important part of their income. This kind of treatment is truly disgraceful and indicates a lack of concern for the employees. If the owner treats his employees in this manner, one can only imagine how they might treat their customers.

I got a new roof put in back in January
I got a new roof put in back in January . But guess what? This new roof ain't holding up too well. It's leaking in a bunch of spots, messing up my house insulation and all that jazz. Dr *** had to come out a bunch of times right after they put it in to re-nail the roof in a bunch of places. They said the nails didn't set right or something. I reckon this means they didn't install it right in the first place, and that's why it's failing.
I picked Dr
I picked Dr. Roof 'cause they said they got a 30 year warranty for my roof replacement. My roof's in bad shape and needs some fixin' 'cause of the weather. So I called up Dr. Roof, thinkin' I'm all good 'cause of that warranty. But turns out, they're sayin' the warranty ain't as good as they made it sound. They won't even schedule the actual work, just an estimate. It's just plain silly.
I hired Dr
I hired Dr. Roof to do three repairs: (1) Put back chimney flashing, (2) Fix black paint where the roof meets the house siding, (3) Seal Metal HVAC pipe on roof - they suggested it and I agreed. It took 48 days from when Dr. Roof gave me the quote and I said yes (Nov. 5, 2020) until they actually started the work (Dec. 23, 2020). Dr. Roof didn't communicate well, so I didn't know when they were doing the work until Dec. 22, 2020 when I was away. Dr. Roof told me I didn't need to be there. When I got back home, I saw that they didn't finish two of the three things (Fix black paint and Seal Metal HVAC pipe). I contacted Dr. Roof and they sent a warranty specialist on Feb. 8, 2021. The warranty specialist said they would send someone to take care of the things that weren't done. It's been almost a month since the warranty specialist came and I haven't heard anything about when they will fix the remaining two things.

On May XX XXXX, I had sum roof repairs dun by this company
On May XX XXXX, I had sum roof repairs dun by this company. I had two roof leaks, one in the foyer and an entrance closet. James told me that the flashing was laid wrong, causin' the water to leak in the house. He said this would fix the leaks in the closet and foyer. But the repairs didn't stop the leaks. I got in touch with Sean Burnhum, the quality control sup. He came out and said the leaks were 'cause of loose shingles, but the shingles weren't missin' before the repairs and it was still leakin'. He put a tarp on the top roof on 6/9, but I told him that wasn't the problem. It rained again and it still leaked. He came out again on 6/17 and said the water was leakin' through the siding, so he put a tarp on the siding. Well, it's still leakin'. I called him on 6/27 and he said his boss would come out, but I haven't heard from the company. If you look at the picture of the repair, the plywood wasn't replaced where the leaks are, and the wood is probably rotten. The leaks are gettin' worse. I want this fixed.
I got an estimate for roof repair from Dr
I got an estimate for roof repair from Dr. Roof Atlanta about a year ago. The estimate was a little over ***. I didn't have the money at that time. In November this year, they sent someone to do a new estimate, which went up to about 1***. I noticed the estimate said they would cut the branches over the roof as part of the work. I thought it would be worth it to solve both problems. The roof was fixed and Dr. Roof Atlanta started asking for payment. I emailed and called to ask when they would cut the branches. I asked them to adjust the price if they weren't going to cut the tree, maybe something close to the *** estimate plus inflation. The manager was there and said they would cut the tree. I got a text saying the work would be done the next day, so I sent them a check because I was away for the holidays. When I got home, I saw that the tree branches hadn't been cut. Dr. Roof Atlanta's response was that even though it's in the contract, they don't cut tree branches. My experience with them and seeing other complaints on this platform makes me think they don't plan on keeping their word. So, I stopped the payment on the check. This seems like a scam targeting older people to raise the price. I'm willing to pay *** based on the initial estimate of *** plus *** for inflation. I don't trust this company and don't want any more contact with them.
Avolta told me they worked with Dr
Avolta told me they worked with Dr. Roof Atlanta for the solar panel roof installation. They said the roof needed to be repaired before the panels could be installed, and they would take care of it. They assured me that the cost of the roof would be included in the overall cost of the solar panel installation. However, my insurance company denied the project, so the solar panels couldn't be installed anymore.
Avolta didn't wait for approval from the insurance company before repairing the roof. They hired Dr. Roof Atlanta to do the job. Dr. Roof Atlanta claims they didn't have an agreement with Avolta about the payment for the roof. They say I signed a contract agreeing to pay for it. There is a contract, but Avolta told me they would cover the roof cost, and I wouldn't have to make an immediate payment. I would only have to pay back the loan they provided.
A few months later, Dr. Roof Atlanta started harassing me for the money. When they didn't receive payment, they illegally placed a lien on my home. I feel like I've been scammed by both companies. I want the lien removed, and I want Avolta to resolve the payment issue with Dr. Roof Atlanta. If they don't, I'll have to take legal action to resolve this matter.
I also want to report both companies for their poor business practices. They don't fully inform clients about the financial obligations if the project doesn't get approved. Dr. Roof Atlanta didn't even talk to me directly about the roof installation. They only spoke to an Avolta representative. Then, when they started demanding money, they acted like they didn't know Avolta. I believe these companies are working together to make clients financially obligated to either of them, and this needs to be stopped. As shown in the email, Dr. Roof Atlanta sent a message to Avolta, and later I was pressured into signing a contract by Avolta.
Dr. Roof replaced a chimney pan to stop problems before they happen, but they didn't do it right and now water is leaking into my house
Dr. Roof replaced a chimney pan to stop problems before they happen, but they didn't do it right and now water is leaking into my house. On 12/3, I hired Atlanta Chimney Sweeps to clean and check my chimney. They said there was no damage or leaks to the chimney cap, but because it's old, they suggested I keep an eye on it. I asked for a quote to replace the cap, but it was too expensive, so I decided to get other quotes and not use Atlanta Chimney Sweeps. Since I've used Dr. Roof before, I reached out to them for a quote. I liked the price, so I hired them to replace the chimney cap and add a shroud for looks (the old chimney didn't have one). In mid-January , Dr. Roof did the job. About a week later, I saw damage (like wrinkled metal) on the shroud, like it had been dropped. On 1/24, I emailed Dr. Roof a photo of the damage. James Thomas replied and said they got the photo and would send it to their quality control team. On 2/2, James emailed me again and said they would make new parts, but it might take 7-10 days. Dr. Roof said they would come back in mid-February to do the work, but on 2/13, I noticed another problem with the bad installation. When I put wood in the fireplace, I saw water marks on the fireplace hood that weren't there before. I looked closer inside the fireplace and found water stains and wet insulation around the fireplace box. None of this was there before Dr. Roof did the work, and Atlanta Chimney Sweeps' inspection report can prove it. I sent the issue and detailed photos to James, Madison, Lori, and Leigh at Dr. Roof, all of whom I had talked to before, during, or after the job. On 2/19, while I was away, Sean Burnham texted me to say he was coming to the house. I couldn't respond right away because I had no service, but I got another text saying he "found it and will get it taken care of" and they were making a new cap. Then, on 2/23, while I was out, Dr. Roof sent a technician who talked to my wife. She was told the replacement parts might not fit, but they would check and fix the leak for now. They left without talking to her more, so it's not clear what they did, if anything. But from what I can see, the shroud still isn't fixed. A few days later on 2/27, I used a towel to dry the wet insulation in the chimney, but it was still wet. I texted Sean again and told him it was still leaking. But I didn't get a response to my last text, and there was no solution, and it kept raining, so on 2/27, I sent another email asking them to patch the leak while they made the replacement parts. I sent it to James, Madison, Lori, and Leigh, whose emails I had. But I didn't get a response to that email either, so I tried to find ***'s email and contacted him directly. On 3/2, I forwarded this issue to an email I think is ***'s, but I still haven't heard back. Meanwhile, my house keeps getting rained on while I wait for Dr. Roof to finish the job. As of 11:30 on 3/9, when I'm writing this, the insulation is still wet, probably from the rain two nights ago.
