I purchased drivers from this company and they asked for verification for my credit card and when I checked my card, it had already been charged. I had to repeatedly ask for a license key to download the drivers. Immediately after installing the drivers, I lost all sound on my computer and the disk drive for SD cards. I told them about it and they never helped at all but told me I had to get technical help from the software manufacturer. The site says they offer support 24/7. I have told them over and over that I need help. When I found out about the problems they had caused, of course I cancelled my subscription. It took more e-mails but I did receive my refund. After spending days trying to repair my computer, I discovered this company has set themselves up as the owner/creator and I can't completely remove the folder from my computer. I checked in my system for sound and found they have set themselves up as a trusted installer of my Realtek High Definition Audio and they have special permissions on my sound and my computer. I have told them to take their ownership and permissions off and give me ownership back, but they will not even reply to me. ( I have tried to do this on my own, but I don't have the access permitted to do it.) I would like to know of any options to make this company do what they are supposed to do!
They are a disreputable company. I bought it thinking it was going to help me solve my driver issue. In fact, their software made things worst. I got a cryptic answer from support. It didn't work. I tried contacting a 2nd time, but didn't get a response.
I've emailed them several times but no response. Also filled out their online form. Once they have your $$, I don't think they really care.
This software is a piece of junk. I asked for a refund... I am still waiting
Have u got the refund yet from them.. Can I know from which country You are..? Becuase I want to know about this, I have also purchased the software from them 1 week ago. Please reply.
I just bought this before checking this page. Does anyone have anything good to say about this software?
I just purchased Drivertoolkit about a month ago and it updated my drivers fine and I have no issues. I have a Toshiba M10 Tecra and it was having registry issues and connecting to the internet was horrible so I went on line hoping to choose the right one to help me out, I knew my drivers were out dated or had issues and I have tried other tookits and I always had issues with them, I had not tried Drivertoolkit - I can say I am very pleased I run registry checks with another tool and it comes out with no issues, my on line connection and other issues have all been resolved. I have no issue with permissions I just right click on a program to get permission by choosing to run the programs as administrator you can go on line and find out how to run as administrator if you have multiple users you need to make sure your in the user that has been granted the administration rights. Anyhow not sure why some kits work better with some computers/laptops maybe it is the operator. Other toolkits I have tried are a bit confusing you have to click here and there and use zip files, I like this one as it does it all by its self as it should that is my purpose for buying a toolkit I want them to do it all.
Sounds like a very conveniently worded apology when others are obviously having considerable difficulty with this program. It is very similar to the "It worked alright for me ... " answers which seem suspiciously to contradict the experience of the majority of other respondents regarding other similarly touted programs.
Simply place the program name "xxxxxxx & Problems" into your browser. I always do this before I download or even consider using a program I have not previously had experience with and, can therefore trust. And especially so if it appeared without my knowing, carried in on the back of another, sometimes legitimate, program. This situation is, incidentally, why I arrived at this site.
Never pay anything until you have completed a thorough check via your browser. These programs, unfortunately, promote themselves in association with other genuinely solid programs or articles, as if the solid article or program, and in some cases, reputable "emagazine" type sites, is supporting them.
These advertisements are so cleverly written and placed as to present themselves as part of the article you may be reading. I am having to pull myself up sometimes when I think "that's just what I need". One writer commented in the comments following his article, when he was challenged through another comment, that he was aware of a suspicious program promoted within the very article he had written regarding the questionable value of, and even danger, of downloading and using such programs.
Unfortunately, just like newspapers, the advertising dollars bring in the revenue. Therefore, you may still see an advertisement which promotes an article or service on the same page as an editorial which is warning against such products or services. We may cry "Why aren't they checking these services", when it is really our own responsibility to do the checking.
Many of these sites trap you by taking your money for an initial payment, then the program, when installed, throws up a number of false positives, which ostensibly, because of the "demonstrated size of the problem", requires you to pay more money. Beware, on top of that, if their "support" department offers to link with your computer to solve the supposed problems. ...RUN... I just hope that you will not reach the stage where "support" is required at all.
Please, Please, let your fingers do the walking, before you download or commit to any software or program promotion that may appear to be "just what I need".

hello Kathie
I've an experience as well with drivertoolkit (made by "megaify") and I have requested a refund : PayPal is not helping, Avangate is not helping 9although they sent me an email indicating a refund would be posted on my account in 24 hours: I never received it) and now support@megaify.com has taken me off their list and my emails bounce back). drivertoolkit as of last week, had their refund policy conveniently adjusted to omit threats of deactivating license if any complaints were processed against them with PayPal). so as you can well imaging we and probably many others are in the same boat and drivertoolkit is sitting on stolen money --scammers that they are . id like to hear from you so we can tackle this together and get our money refunded .
When you install the button says start scan, but it should say "START SCAM"
1) they told me I needed something that it urned out I already had
2) how they refuse to respond to various refund requests through multiple channels
3) how many other people have had such a horrible experience- like stuff including them giving themselves ownership over aspects of people's software & sound system, etc. INSANE!
This company should NOT be trusted! How are they still operating- how hasn't someone taken them down?! They are what's wrong with society, so unscrupulous!
PLEASE HELP, i woke up today and see my anti viruse going insane about this, i have the .exe file but am i alright as long as i dont click on it? can i just put it in quanrentine somewhere? im seriously VERY VERY worried, dont know how the [censored] it got in my pc but i guess i have it now and will always be in stressfull about it until i can kill that son of a [censored] file, any way to kill it? my pc wont let me godamn it, for [censored] sake. hope it isnt steam or something, well in any case im not EVER downloading anything ever again on a bowser
This software seems to be a scam, they are not processing my refund request.
never install drivertoolkit is the disastrous and worst program there may be, even if you uninstall it, you must download another program to uninstall it, warn of false trojans, faltsa updates, etc. I have it uninstalled and as you can see it still appears in the taskbar and continues to work (it is a very careful worm)
U.S.A. Paid in full. Have registration Key. Program won't download drivers, just shows download error. Contacted them 3 times. No response. Never again!
