Friendly sales staff. Excellent after service customer care! *** was quick to respond to any issues and was extremely helpful.
There is no after sale service whatsoever. Once you paid, nobody cares if there's a problem with the order. Nobody picks up the phone. Ever. The *** team cannot, for some mysterious reason, liaise with the Ottawa team. Please stay away from their products. What a complete joke.
I was well received when I walked into this store. The gentleman who greeted me was bilingual, which was a plus. I was able to walk around without being hounded by a salesman. And, when I found what I wanted, the same man that greeted me, was happy to help me. I found exactly what I was looking for at an excellent price that fit my budget. Thank you for the great service and great product!

I have always found quality furniture and top service here. Our salesman was so thorough and knowledgeable with the products, and had such a great personality. His name was Alpha. We will have to wait about 2-4 months for our furniture, but it will be worth the wait. We were able to customise our sectional with finishes and configuration. Alpha was so over top helpful with every thing and then because we upgraded he took off a decent discount.A very happy camper here.

I ordered three appliances for my son on June 21. He was being transferred to Ottawa and I was assured by the salesman that the three appliances would be delivered, when he arrived on August 6th. My son called two weeks before arriving and was told all three appliances were ready for delivery. He called again to set-up the delivery time, when he arrived, and was told that only two of the appliances were available. He has been provided with an approximate delivery date of September 12th for the delivery of the washing machine. Due to the delivery delays caused by COVID19 there is no guarantee that there would not be further delays. I am upset because I chose appliances that would be available and paid the full amount in June so that they would be reserved. It would appear that one of the appliances was sold to another customer and the salesman could not explain what happened. He did offer us an inferior product in a different color, which was totally unacceptable. I suggest that you only put a refundable deposit down at the time of purchase so that you can look at other options, if they are are unable to deliver the products.
I had the Best sales experience I ever had. I can tell you that my sales lady was perfect kept me focused. I usually, take 15 mins to purchase anything. Anyway I wanted a recliner and love seat. We tried recliners , choose the comfortable one, then chose some options (eg. Ekectric, battery, manual) I wanted manual. We looked at love seats , also because we were trying them they could also be built in a recliner. Anyway bottom line , we ended up with the perfect fit , color and model. It's a custom a CANADIAN! Company. I can't wait to receive my new furniture. If course I have to be patient. Covid factors, delivery etc. But I'm patient. I'm going to name the sales lady a wonderful patient, smart and knowledgeable person. Iryna T. Well done. I intend to go back to get a dinning room table and another side table. Assuming they have what I want. I got 25% off because of the sale too boot!

I ended up purchasing what I hope to be a very cozy and comfortable sofa and chair (delivery not until February).

After spending much of the weekend online browsing, looking at different furniture companies where I could purchase a new bed, mattress, box spring, and night stands at a reasonable price for my guest room, I felt overwhelmed by the selection available but also underwhelmed by the lack of access to many of the items I was interested in (due to supply chain issues). My problems were solved when I popped into Dufresne Furniture earlier today, where all of my shopping needs were met. Just a wonderful, all-in one shopping experience - with outstanding service and great promotional discounts to mark Black Friday. The icing on the cake - I was assured that my bed would be delivered within two weeks! I highly recommend Dufresne and am looking forward to the arrival of my new furniture.

I recently completed an online purchase for a sofa and I could not be more pleased. I have been in Information Technology for close to 40 years and my sales representative *** deserves a round of applause. *** was able to match exactly what I was looking for and arrange the entire purchase for me and misses in a matter of minutes. Almost effortless and on sale also, what a joy! In all honesty I will continue to make Dufresne Furniture my first stop for any future purchases.

Currently not happy with Dufresne
Currently not happy with Dufresne. Purchased couch in Sept 2020, with estimated delivery of 21 November. Sales man said to expect delays due to COVID but that couch should arrive by Christmas. No updates received from store. I initiated 3 calls, told 3 times that they would look into estimated delivery. No return calls or emails received. Have been waiting 12 weeks. Was told new estimate for delivery is December 30 and they would look into things and get back to me, that was 4 days ago. If couch arrives end of Dec it will be 14 weeks. One person I spoke to got angry with me and said to expect 8 to 12 weeks for delivery. Will never shop there again! Customer service is non existent. It is not the delay in delivery that is the most frustrating, and I am fully aware that things might be delayed due to the Pandemic, it is the lack of updates on delivery dates. November 21 date became end of November, end of November became end of December without communication to me on changes. I am beyond frustrated!

I experienced a similar issue to the customer below. I purchased a wall oven at the *** Club location on Boxing Day *** April 2022. "That's plenty of time" they told us and that if there was going to be any issues or delays, they'd let us know. I hadn't heard anything so by March, I called in just to make sure, the rep told me it was due to arrive at the warehouse by end of the month. Early April, I visited the website and it showed the stock information for my location - available May 4th. The following week, the website date changed to May 6th and now it says May 13th. People need their appliances to arrive promptly for a reason, a couple weeks delay is one thing, but not having any sense of when the product is going to be available is another issue. I need that oven to run my business and I have customers waiting on their orders for early June. Events are planned throughout the summer and not having this oven is going to detrimentally impact my business as a) I am not making any money during the time I wait for the oven to arrive, and b) I have to cancel the upcoming weddings/markets orders and lose out on the fees that I paid to book my spots for these events. Forget not being able to make pizza or bake a cake for my family, it's the fact that there's no contingency plan provided for what happens if they can't honour the promised delivery date. The least Dufresne can do is honour me the sale price that they currently have and refund me the couple $100 difference. *** learned, don't buy appliances at Dufresne.

I bought a couch and loveseat in 2016.I took 5 year warranty on it. After 3 and half year sofa and loveseat bedding start sinking, recliner foot rest form is no more good. I contacted the store and they sent the *** 4 times to fix the issue. Sofa and loveseat is in the worse shape than before and its so uncomfortable sitting on it. I contacted the *** last month. After trying for a week *** got back to me and said he will send a *** last time to see the issue. *** came and checked the issue. I showed him what is the issue and he agreed to it.He said the previous *** did a really good job try to fix it .He said he will send the report to the ***. Till last week nobody called me to give me the update. I am trying to contact *** from last week and rep is telling they will send an email to *** and he will get back to me. Its been a week nobody is calling back. Really frustrated with this. I am looking forward to get my issue resloved.

We mentioned it to the delivery folks. I contacted the store via telephone on Feb 13 to explain the situation. the store said that we did not order the sofa with the reclining headrest. I explained that we chose that sofa and love-seat because it had the reclining headrest. We did not know that the sofa and love-seat comes without the reclining head-rest, since the store model that we tried had it. The "custom order" for us was for the selection of fabric and electric battery pack option. The sales order we have says "power sofa" and "power love", to us that meant powered feet and headrest, we had no indication and were not informed that the sofa and love seat comes without reclining headrest. We would not have purchased them had we known that they did not have the reclining headrest. That was an essential option for us. Over one month of numerous email exchanges, the store has not resolved this case. At home, we have not sat on the love seat and sofa to keep them completely unused and new to be returned to the store. Thank you for helping in resolving this issue.
