I definitely have Dutch Mafia ties
I am obsessed with the Dutch Mafia.i go at least once a day. Sometimes twice. I live in Las Vegas. This is a small city with big personality. As a newcomer it can feel as though the city’s hustle could swallow me whole. It’s easy within all the lights and glitz to feel invisible. Not at Dutch Brothers. They know me, my boyfriend, our dog, our orders...they know good days and bad days and notice changes. They ask about the rare missing partner when one of us drives through alone. I love Dutch Bros. My home store is the BRAND NEW Ft. Apache location. I hope my regular crew sees this and you all know, Kat, Ken and Jedd love and appreciate each and every one of you! The great brews! The CONSISTENCY! The little chats and silly questions. The stickers. The new app! The secret menu. I could go on, but who’d read it? Peace!
Most awesome
I at one point never really cared much for Dutch bros. My regular coffee shop was conveniently located where I use to work and where I live and we’re very friendly and still are! However, Dutch bros introduced me to a coffee drink that I just love! Hits the spots every time! I’d go between both coffee shops to get the same drink but pay very different! Common sense says go where I can save money so I go to Dutch bros as they make my coffee very specific and not really sweet! Balanced coffee is most preferred as in equal of shots to flavor! Even my children love Dutch bros! Thank you for being so awesome especially at 3 of your locations here! Two can be more improved with customer service but the three I go to no amount of stars can be awarded words can really even begin to describe your folks! Just awesome awesome awesome

Your staff works hard to get the job done. No matter what Dutch i go to i see a Great work ethic and always friendly courteous team members.
As a note not a complaint: During those busy times of the day when the line of cars wraps around the building I find it best just to sit in the line of cars and wait rather than walk up to the window which i prefer to do, because the one person inside the store is too overwhelmed and focused on preparing product while the other is 20 cars down the line taking orders. The walk up window tends to get ignored.
Unable to create an account
Uploaded app, signed in using apple and completed adding all necessary information and the create account button lighted up but when I clicked on it nothing happened.
Deleted app and uploaded again and verified my phone is updated. All is good. Tried signing up using Facebook, went through all the steps , everything looked good , my cousin verified that I entered all my information correctly … the “create account “ light up but when I clicked on it … nothing happened.
I closed the app again, had my cousin create an account using my email, entered all information required and the “create account “ light up but when I clicked on it … nothing happened.
At this point I have deleted app and have decided not to join. Thanks anyways. I do love the Annihilator and the green ice tea infused watermelon drink and that’s why I give it 3 stars.
The Awesomeness of Dutch Bros
Dutch Bros is an extraordinary experience in the realm of coffee drinking. There was a time when I totally disliked coffee but being introduced to my first Dutch Bros latte or mocha changed all that. I only wish I lived nearer a Dutch Bros stand as I am not driving as much these days. In addition, the fact that Dutch Bros is an Oregon brand makes it all the more special. As someone who was not only born in Oregon but has also written and illustrated several cartoon books about Oregon as well as creating the Society of Native Oregon Born (SNOB), I feel a special kinship with an Oregon based business of quality and note. Thanks Dutch Bros for making my coffee drinking experience all the more pleasurable. And by the way, my cartoon character, Hugh Wetshoe, believes that a day without a Dutch Bros drink is like a day without rain. Thanks again.
Great mobile app
But what would make this app really great is having a app developed for the wearables. It would be so much more useful if they were to make a wearable app with full functionality as the mobile app. Whenever I go to Dutch Bros I have to unplug my phone as I still have wired apple car play and even if I had wireless CarPlay in my car my phone would have to be resting on the charging pad to work and I would need to scan my phone for the points. If they had a wearable app where the barcode appeared directly on the entire screen of the wearable so it could be scanned and similar to the Starbucks app. I can scan my watch during payment. I mean we are going into 2023 I think all retailers should have not just a mobile app but an app strictly for wearables. I mean we already have apps that can auto start your car drive your car. It’s just about that time
Can’t lookup information on drunk from search
Can’t lookup information on drinks from the search portion of the drink menu. Even on drinks that they supply nutritional information for, you can’t access the information if you are searching by name for the drink. What’s the point of adding any information if I can’t access it through search? You have to go in and find the drink via the populated default options on the drink menu and even then you only can access a few drinks’ information as well as only a few drink options.
It’s just like the dumb website update where you can’t access anything or see what the options are for craft-ability (the fact that any breve flavor could be a mocha or a latte etc.) beyond their “featured drinks”. Bring back all the nutritional information and drink options that your old website had and make this app more friendly by letting me search for the drink and then access the information on it.
Worst App Ever - Beware
Do not use this app! It cannot be trusted! I used the app to add more money to my “Dutch Pass” and then used the app to purchase my coffee since everything has gone mobile since Covid. Over the next 24 hours, my credit card was a charged numerous amounts by Dutch Bros for a total of $1400. I contacted customer service and could not get anyone to answer the phone for three days. I had to eventually contact them through email and was told they were “working on it”. I was told someone would call me back with an update. A couple days later I called customer service and was told they were still working on it and someone would call me back with an update, but that never happened. About a week later I received an email response, “the charges made on your account will need to be disputed with your bank”. Whether there was some sort of security breech in the app, they refused to take care of the charges and pawned it off onto my bank.
Your Customers want to Win Too!
Many times my Dutch Bro App was denied a Scan because the ones taking my order was in such a big hurry to close the sale by asking if I wanted to TIP or not…Scanning the app helps me gain points for a free drink…The App replaced the punch card, which is a bummer because if the sale is complete they can still punch your card without making an excuse that …”Sorry we can’t do that because you already paid”!
Thats what I get for an answer.
My understanding is that along with taking your order, they are supposed to ask you if you have the app so they can scan it. This is happening in every State I purchase in now.
I travel from Coast to Coast, I love Dutch Bros Coffee…
However, if they are not even trying to help their customers score a free drink every 10 purchases…while they are getting their “TIPS” from every customer all through out the day and they Score Big!
It would be Wiser for me to move on and take my business elsewhere.
Please don’t let your long time Customers slip away like this.
Can’t create account
One would think the account creation process would be simple, fast and bug free, especially since many likely try to signup while in the drive-thru.
I’ve tried multiple times to sign up for rewards and have run in to a couple of issues, one of which I was able to get around but the other not so much.
Using an iPhone 13 ProMax, iOS 15.4 (also 15.13x), & latest versions of the Dutch Bros app. First issue when creating account is trying to add a birthdate which is required. The iPhone uses the date picker to select the date, but the field does not get populated no matter how I attempt to enter it. I was able to long press, select “Scan Text” and then scan in a hand-written date to get past this bug.
Then, once I fill out the remaining fields, the Create Account submit button looks enabled, and while I see a color change on press, the form never seems to submit and nothing happens.
I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled, tried multiple iOS versions and Dutch Bros apps versions, to no avail. Not sure why it’s this hard, but I give up.
Dutch brothers in Texas
I am from Oregon and have loved Dutch brothers for years. I was so excited when they opened up in Texas since I moved here three years ago. Since they’ve opened it’s been so disappointing. There’s multiple locations near me and they are all incredibly slow. Things are fast moving here in Texas and other coffee shops move quickly and cater to that. The Dutch brothers location on N. Tarrant Parkway and in Saginaw are both so slow that you can sit in line for 45 minutes when there’s just 8 to 10 cars in front of you. I love Dutch I don’t want to see it go but I don’t think Texans will tolerate sitting in line for 30 minutes to an hour each day for coffee. Which Brothers is my favorite coffee and I’ve started going back to 151 just because I don’t have time to sit in line for 30 minutes to an hour every day when the lines can be three times as long at local coffee shops and take 10 to 15 minutes. Just wanted to give my feedback because I love your company and I know feedback helps.Love Dutch Brothers in Oregon city Oregon location was my place for 10 years!
Stamp cards saved more $$
I ran the numbers and stamp cards were probably a better bang for your buck.
The old stamp cards needed 10 drinks for your next drink of any size to be free. Let say you’re getting a medium drink every time which is about $5. With the app, you would need to buy exactly 10 $5 drinks to get a free medium drink- the same amount needed to get a free large drink with the stamp cards. You’d need to buy 3 more $5 drinks to get a large with the app.
I guess this would be better for people who always get large drinks since they’ll probably hit that free large in less drinks than people who get mediums, so I’m happy they’re dollar is getting them more. However I feel that medium is the most common size so this would effect a larger scale of their customers.
The app itself is fine. It runs well, I enjoy the prepay option, and having an easy way to access the menu (even though I wish I could see the drink info, but they have that on their website so not too big of a deal for me). I also think less litter and waste from little stamp cards is a good idea; I just wish we were getting the same deal we used to get with stamp cards.
Greatest drinks ever
Yesterday was MY 3rd time going to Dutch bro’s I’ve heard of them b4 but never went to any locations..So My kids purchased a caramel apple smoothie for ME Thursday night an frm there I was hooked..MY husband an I made it Friday date night so he cld try this amazing drink as well..He ended up getting a caramelizer an loving it an I got yup u guessed it a caramel apple smoothie such a heavenly drink..That led to ME craving to GO there again on Saturday an yup u guessed it WE went..This tyme I downloaded the app got a free drink plus an 2 other drinks..The young man who took MY order was so very pleasant an friendly,on top on ME getting the caramel apple smoothie I wanted to try a Dutch bro soda so I asked his opinion an omg he was so knowledgeable of the drinks flavors ect he took his time with detail info to help ME make MY final decision an yes I love the soda too(an normally I don’t drink soda at all)..When WE reached the drive through window the young ladie workn was so frndly an kind a lil small tlk an she had bundles of positive energy..Over all Dutch bro’s is an awesome place both the drinks and staff r amazing I will b going back regularly an can’t wait for the Dutch bro’s to open up near ME..KEEP up the great work guys
Amazing Coffee Shop
Hi, absolutely love all the stuff here are the energy here I have been going to Starbucks for years. I’ve gone to many coffee places and this is by far the best customer service the best vibes here are the best coffee I’ve had it Starbucks has gone so downhill. Their customer service is horrible. Every time I go the customer service has become absolutely horrible and general really on a lot of places and I am one to go and say hey are you having a bad day or are you just not liking your job that you’re treating your customers the way that you’re treating them. Y’all are rude. Y’all are always messing up the drinks and so I finally went to Dutch Bros coffee and high absolutely love the energy. I love every person I’ve come in contact with here oh, Mari is absolutely amazing. I don’t know any of the other names because I usually see her at the window but everybody works as a team to even looks like a fun place to work. They all love their job they all say they love their job it has good vibes. Good energy. Amazing customer service and amazing coffee to where my fiancé’s daughter wants to drive all the way down from corpus just to get Dutch Bros coffee and my kids absolutely love their hot cocoa. So to me this is beyond a five star I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this establishment. Never get my flavor profile correct
The only reason I gave 2 stars was because of the awesome service Manny gave - otherwise this particular DB would get zero...
The barista who made my drink at the Merced location was soooo slow. So it took a while for my orders to come out. Once I finally did receive my drink it tasted awful and I was so disappointed. When I asked her about the flavors and told her it didn’t taste great and her knowing I was unhappy, she asked me with an annoyed tone if I wanted her to re-make the drink. At that point (waiting forever & being made to feel like my time and money wasn’t valuable) I opted for a no and told her I’d just take my drink home and fix the flavoring myself - when in reality: it’s so bad, I will more than likely just dump it.
I’m rather frustrated at this point. Every time I visit this DB and explain in detail the flavor profile I’m looking for and want, I never get what I ask for at this location. I ALWAYS emphasize my flavor profile yet, that’s not how it comes out.
Wish Dutch Bros would listen. This is the second time this week this has happened. I also have a DB in Arizona near my home there & those baristas give the best service and have never made me or my family feel like it’s our fault about flavor profiles with drinks.
I have a Starbucks literally less than a block away from my home in CA. I’m a regular and tend to spend lots of money and stick with what I like regardless of cost. I thought I’d give this DB a try... Unfortunately I made a mistake. If I want DB in CA I am driving more than 9 miles away. I suppose they prefer me to return to Starbucks & spend my cash there instead. So guess what - that’s exactly what I’ll do.

FYI, long story!
When Covid hit my world changed quite a bit.
Before, being single, I went out to eat often, went to my live music, comedy shows and just walking two blocks to everything in Old Town Folsom, my social fix so to speak!
One of the defining reasons to buy my house here 25 years ago. I was planning for retirement in being able to just walk to places, venues and the American River Parkway that I truly loved! Cookie cutter subdivisions just don’t work for me.
Anyway, my normal Cafe Mocha fix came from Coopers, a locally owned shop that is amazing, but without a drive through. Then covid came, things changed and I started to go to Dutch Brothers more often as they were drive through only. FYI, the covid shutdown started 10 days before my 65th birthday!
At the beginning it was pretty much the only place I went with any consistency.
Well with me being so old and with my long Uncle Sam beard the staff of mostly Teenagers, remembered my name and drink of choice pretty much from day one. They gave me a free drink for my birthday and two days later they gave me a Dutch Brothers sticker as they do to everyone on the first of every month!
Well, they gave me a sticker. so I went to our local “Disney” Mexican restaurant called Brissa’s and brought the crew back a dozen fresh baked, caramel filled churros. I call it “Disney”because it reminds me of what a Mexican restaurant would look like on Main Street in Disneyland!
So over the last year, the first of every month has brought out that same exchange, a sticker for churros, like clockwork.
At some point, I started to bring in some “real” food, breakfast burritos or breakfast croissants around the middle of the month.
Wll as we have all heard or said for thousands of years that the way to a mans heart is through his stomach, let me tell you a bond that is, if possible, stronger!
A way for Teenagers to remember you is to bring them free food, there is hope!
Anyway, today, a typical morning trip to Dutch Brothers drive through and the staff gives me this Thank You card and a Dutch Brothers gift card.
It was heart felt and truly brought tears to my eyes!

I was excited for this app. But I am so frustrated. I attempted to make an account and the app faulted and force closed. I tried restarting and making the account again. I now get errors that say my account doesn’t exist but also can’t make a new account with my phone number because it’s already taken. I tried contact the help desk just to not hear back. I go to Dutch DAILY and miss the stamp system that’s been gone due to Covid. Absolute garbage. I wish I could give 0 stars because of the frustration and utter disappointment.

Wouldn’t give my grandma a drink
Went through on my grandma’s birthday to get her a free birthday drink as a treat but apparently you have to download the app and use it to buy drinks before you can redeem your birthday drink. This was so disappointing because my grandma doesn’t have a cell phone and my app has my information on it so i couldn’t just use mine for her. I know that dutch bros gives out a lot of free drinks and I cannot believe that they wouldn’t give one to my grandma on her 86th birthday. I was so shocked that we just left, and I am very disappointed in this company now.

Badge notification won’t go away
App for the most part works great! I love the digital rewards and contactless pay features. The notification badge for the app won’t go away even if all messages or notifications have been opened and no free drinks are available. Minor glitch but I find it annoying. I wish you could see all the drink options that use to be on the website menu (for example latte and breve) now the only way it seems to see all the drink flavors is by expanding the Dutch freeze option. Also, the old stamp card seemed to have slightly better value for redeeming a large drink.

Stamp Cards Were better
I understand that companies are moving towards the digital era but this app could have been more similar to how Dutch Bros used to operate. The points system is weird and I can’t tell how many points I get per drink, and they said you get more points for an expensive drink but you can only redeem a medium drink, unless you want to keep waiting to earn the large.
Also it is disappointing how they have changed the birthday drink system. I took my 86 year old grandma and she couldn’t get a birthday drink anymore since she doesn’t have a smart phone for the app.

Horrible App Service
Unable to create an account. Wint even let me register my birthday. This app is a total waste of space in my phone. And I cannot even register an account online, still pretty dumb. Since your app doesn’t work for crap and you guys can’t seem to fix it at all. I’d rather spend my money and time on the Starbucks app. At least they actually read the specs and try to patch the app, and if you say “sorry for the inconvenience” bull. Used to be a flawless app experience
I used to have no problem with the Dutch bros app and found it to be one of the better coffee loyalty apps in existence. Recently, a change has made the app unusable when visiting dutch bros as it says something like “you have exceeded the amount of requests made.. try again later” and now that I have logged out to try to troubleshoot it says “you have exceeded the maximum amount of login attempts… try again later” and it said this on the first try with the correct account details. The app is inaccessible now and I still have money and points on there, I am very disappointed.

Bogus
I have to upload money to the app to pay for a drink? And I can’t even choose an amount- the amounts are set for me- in intervals where some of my own money will probably be left over at the end in hopes that I forget about it. I can’t just link my debit card to the app and pay through it like on the McDonalds App? And the birthday drink- will We still be able to drive to every Dutch Bros in my area and get a free drink like we’ve been doing for years? Or do we get only one drink? I feel burned by Dutch Bros (not as burned as their coffee tastes though.) Won’t be going anymore.

App isn’t particularly helpful
The app is really just a way to store store credit. It would be more useful if you could use it to actually preorder your drinks. At the very least they could add their full menu. Listing “syrups” as a menu item isn’t particularly helpful…what flavor syrups do you have, etc.? If you can’t preorder your drink it would be helpful to see the full menu before getting to the store so you could quickly order. I hardly ever go to Dutch Bros because of these reasons. I will visit coffee places that make it easier to order or read a full menu since even their website doesn’t have a full menu.

Can’t Register
Awesome coffee, but terrible experience trying to get a rewards account. I’ve have tried several times over the last few MONTHS to create an account, and every time I’m given a “Bummer, authentication failed” message. I’ve been using the correct email, the password meets the criteria, I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app multiple times, restarted my phone (iphone 11) and updated my iOS, and absolutely nothing has worked. There isn’t even an option to make an account online. I would love to actually get rewards for my purchases, but it’s apparently impossible. Don’t know what I could possibly do different.

Needs to be fixed
It’s been over a month now and I am not able to add funds, redeem points or sign in to my account (after deleting it today). I keep getting the same error message, “bummer, you’ve exceeded the number of login attempts” after trying one time. Or something to that nature. I get a very similar message for everything else I do in the app. I want to add funds, bummer I’ve exceeded the number of attempts. I want to redeem points, bummer. Now I have a bunch of points and no way to use them since I can’t log into the account. Waiting on customer service to reply to my message that I sent today. We’ll see how this goes.

Broken App
I have been going to Dutch for years and was super excited to hear about the app. I downloaded it today in hopes of retrieving my free drink before work. I pressed “create account” and put in all my information. Pressed “continue” and got this notification that said AUTHENTICATION FAILED. I pressed check on the terms of service. Re-entered all my information multiple times. I even deleted and re downloaded the app in hopes it was just a glitch. But I cannot get past the first page. Super disappointing. It should not be that hard to just make a simple account. Guess I won’t be doing to Dutch again if this cannot be fixed ASAP.

The best coffee
I try this and it’s way better the Starbucks it you want it sweet oh there’s the way to go I get the small or medium I really don’t care too much for large small medium whatever you prefer golden eagle three times extra blended so it’s like kind of watery extra sweet with soft top so is the best some Dutch Bros put the caramel like really thick in the cup like Starbucks but you can ask for no drizzle and you get points here every so often you buy drinks you get points that you can get a free drink medium free or any size I I tried all of them and of course people are gonna have their favorites but most likely you’re gonna like most of them love love love their coffee I go here every day or for sure every other day

Not very useful
You can add a payment method so that you can scan the app to pay, you can view the menu, and you can find locations, but that’s about all you can do. I really don’t see the point? You can’t order through the app, so you don’t know how much anything will cost, nor can you order ahead to pick up your order. And most of the menu options don’t even have their nutritional facts available! This really ticks me off because they’re not on the website either! You can earn points for a free drink when you pay through the app, which is the only reason to download it. But seriously, this is ridiculously bad. Even Starbucks has a way more useful and thoughtful app than this. And make your nutrition facts & ingredients available and easy to find!

App would be great if I could actually sign up
I got the Dutch bros app a few weeks ago when I moved to a different city that has Dutch Bros. I have been trying to sign up for an account so I could use my rewards and get a free birthday drink but the app will NOT let me put my birthday in. Entering all the other info works just fine but for some reason when I go to enter my birthday it just leaves the field blank after I selected the date and it won’t let me manually type it in either. Very frustrating and I even left it alone for 2 weeks to see if it was a glitch or something but nope I still am not able to sign up. I even tried to go online and sign up that way instead of the app but it looks like that isn’t an option either. Hopefully this gets fixed soon so I can make an actual account!

BE AWARE, YOU CANNOT CHANGE YOUR EMAIL INFO
Looks like a pretty well-functioning app, but it doesn’t allow you to change your email in your account settings.
I had tried to register with my email, and the verification code never came (waited as long as 6 hrs, resent multiple times & checked email listed in case of error). Because it wasn’t working, I tried to see if another email of mine would work.. Except it went thru immediately and now has this email as the email attached to my phone # and account . The email address I tested with when mine wasn’t receiving the verification is a temporary email that I won’t have for very much longer, so I’m just hoping that they’ll end up coming out with an update that’ll allow us to change email addresses in our account settings.. Otherwise this app will become of no use to me.

NOT DEAF FRIENDLY!
You can thank your employee for making me delete my Dutch bro apps. I didn’t understand what she is saying to me with her mask covered. I showed her my phone with Dutch bros apps pulled up. Hoping she would explain what she is trying to tell me. She kept shaking her head. I’m assuming (by her body language) she doesn’t want to “touch” my phone. But she CAN TOUCH MY LID WITH HER HANDS WITHOUT GLOVES, SHE CAN TOUCH MONEY AND GIVE IT TO ME WITHOUT WEARING GLOVES. After being frustrated trying to understand what she is trying to tell me about the Dutch bro apps. I decided to delete the DUTCH BRO APPS. I’ll be going somewhere else that are deaf friendly. Dutch Bros, for the future reference. Tell your staffs to wear gloves next time before they touch anyone’s lid especially with COVID happening..

Good, but barren and not what most will expect
For being so new, the app is pretty good. Unfortunately, if you're expecting anything similar to any other food app, you're going to be disappointed. There is no way to order ahead, no way to pre key in your drinks and just have them show up when the QR code is scanned, no way to even see how much the drinks cost in the first place. It's a menu that has no prices with a refillable wallet ($10 minimum) and an app version of their old stamp card program. It feels empty, for lack of a better term, because of the complete lack of functions and information that one would normally expect from a food app, but Dutch has always done things differently and I look forward to future updates.
ESPECIALLY if it'll get rid of the notification flag it's had for over a week. Holy heck is that incredibly annoying.
