I have used EarnUp for years with no issue
I have used EarnUp for years with no issue. I started to use them again to repay a personal loan and the experience has been aweful. I am unsure if they have sold their business, or support team is no longer domestic. Something has certainly changed for the worst. They set up the new loan and incorrectly took out over $1,000 more than what they were supposed to. It's been issue after issue. I have been unable to log into my account for over a month. After reading the reviews here, I will no longer work with this company. It's a shame, because they were so dependable a year ago. I am unsure what the change was, but they really need to change back to their old system/support service.

EARNUP is fraudulently company!
EARNUP is fraudulently company! I has been with Earnup from 2007 for the Equity-Accelerator Auto-Draft from my bank account. To pay for my Lender. For some reason the EarnUp stop to pay for my lender this year on: May 4,2021 for *** no fund in my bank account. I did go to the bank print out the bank statement to prove to EarnUp on: April 1 over three thousand and from May 1 to May 31,2021 is: $3,833.99 at that time on my bank account. Now I ask the EarnUp where is my First and Last payment money? Their told me No money in my account and no money refund either, that made me very upset with EarnUp. I think the EarnUp is not good company to do the business with. So, ***! Stay away from them

Called Earnup to get the status of my account with PNC. Talked to *** in customer service and receive the information I requested. Very helpful. Thank
Earn up was a wonderful way to make our bi-monthly mortgage payments with PNC Bank. Communication was awesome. Because of a letter from PNC Bank that was confusing, we have decided to pay off the mortgage. With Rachell's help, from Earn Up, she made it super easy to cx our bi-monthly payments. *** was friendly and very helpful.
The with service with *** was very pleasant experience today.
I had a equity selector until earn up took over in 10 years my mortgage was never late
I had a equity selector until earn up took over in 10 years my mortgage was never late. With Earn up its been late several times. One person tells me the wire transfer didnt go through the next that the mail was late. I was in the middle of refinancing for a lesser term with lower interest rates and low and behold they paid my mortgage late. I was less than pleased. No one seems to know what is going on. I am gettng late payments and then I have to fill out a form to get the money back for my late payment. Needlesss to say I cancelled since I am getting a new mortgage. I was very sad how can one company pay your mortage for 10 years without one misap and then the new company messes it up regulary

I had received a letter from PNC about my mortgage and called and talked with *** and we cancelled my payments thru you because I thought it was what I was suppose to do but *** told me I can come back whenever I wanted to. I received and email from you saying you will still be doing our mortgage payments so I called again and talked with *** and she put me back with you having my payments continue and I don't have to go to PNC to do anything.I have been with you for over 20 years and never had a problem with my payments going to the bank. Called and spoke to *** at EarnUP. She was super helpful and took the time to explain everything and aswered my million and one questions patiently. I was a previous customer of Equity Accelerator and they merged with EarnUp. I can trulely say that today *** went above and beyond my expectation. -Soon to be mortgage free customer-
I spoke with *** today about my EarnUp account. She was courteous and very helpful. I have been with the program for several years now and love it. I am one of the many who received a notice from PNC stating that I would not be able to continue using your service. I was pleased to learn that this was not the case and that I would be able to continue using the EarnUp service. Thanks again to *** for her assistance with my account today.
Just closed out my mortgage so notified EarnUp. Had the pleasure of speaking with *** who walked me through the process while celebrating with me. I think she was as excited for me paying off my mortgage as I was! Loved the ease of making bimonthly mortgage payments through EarnUp. 5 Stars to ***!
We had the same experience as so many others
We had the same experience as so many others. They fraudulently took money from our account. Countless hours to resolve, and we're never able to fully resolve it. Finally had to revoke their access to our account through our bank even though we notified them months in advance we were suspending service because our mortgage was paid in full due to the sale of our home. We found out along the way that, even though they had taken money out when they were supposed to in months prior, that had not paid the money to our mortgage holder at the time as they were contractually obligated too. With all due respect and seriousness, this company is not practicing within the law, and definitely not with any type of ethical code.

Great customer service! *** was a total rockstar in helping me! Will absolutely continue my business with this company!
This is a great program. The cust. srv. rep *** was very nice, energetic and pleasant. It was very easy to stop it when our mortgage was paid off. Will recommend this.

Some 25 year ago I obtain a mortgage to purchase my family a home
Some 25 year ago I obtain a mortgage to purchase my family a home. As my job required me to be stationed in various countries from time to time it was suggested that my repayments could be done by EarnUp. Over those 25 years I would see twice a month a deduction from my account and every month I would receive a thank you from my Mortgagee for my payment. My rates and taxes, home insurance were all paid even if they were increases and I was never called requesting anything. Such was the case of good service that when the Mortgage was paid off I did not remember to advise them but stop payments from my account. They contacted me worried that debits could not be made and would effect their ability to meet Mortgage payments. I then contacted them and the pleasant reception I got made me willingly make this review for a job well done where the customer is the prime concern and good service the goal.
I have been a member with EarnUp for many many years
I have been a member with EarnUp for many many years. They have always been so pleasant to work with. But I wanted to sing the praises of *** there, I hope I am spelling that correctly. I have been struggling a bit financially and was trying to see if I had any breathing room for paying ahead on my payments toyortgage company. *** not only helped me out incredibly...she was very human and sympathetic to my concerns right now. I hope the day never comes when that is not a beautiful thing. So many times today you get a customer service person who is reading just off the script and might as well be a robot. It is getting to be a lost art to actually provide service and be helpful to the client or member. I have always spoke highly of your program for payments but I will do it even louder and more often now. It was an absolute lifesaver for me in my time of need. We need more Rochelles in the world and in the workplace. Thanks for being there!

Absolutely horrible service they have no idea what they're doing, I called on Tuesday to try and change my payment dates from weekly to bi-weekly I was told that that wouldn't be possible for it to be changed until 2 months from now because of their "system" so at that point I told him find that wouldn't work for me and go ahead and please cancel my account and I will figure this out on my own. He then told me that he would be happy to do that but again because of his "system" we would be unable to cancel the account until after they had taken another payment of my account on Friday and of course they got their fees. Today is Friday and I just got off the phone with them and now because today is debit day (the mans exact words) I now have to wait until Monday to cancel my account because surprise surprise the "SYSTEM" won't allow him to do it! Seems like they are trying to get me to just get tired of trying and just give up and keep this crap service, no thanks.
Oh my goodness!
Oh my goodness! I had the most amazing conversation with Rachell from the Earn Up Program. I called in reference to my mortgage payment (nothing was wrong) and learned much more information I assumed I already knew. Rachell took her time and answered all my question and also made me aware of the FREE benefits I have being enrolled in and with the Earn Up company. Rachell's conversation made me more comfortable in dealing with my mortgage company (rarely) and most of all she said, "let Earn Up do the work for you". More than ever I have the confidence I am with a company that is dedicated to helping us payoff our mortgage faster and help us apply any extra monies we'd like to go towards our principal balance. I may even consider adding some of my other loans to the program for free once I speak with my husband. Being the finance handler of the family, this move will free me mentally from trying to remember all the payment amount and dates since companies are guiding you toward paperless transactions. Rachell Thank You! Earn Up Thank you!
For 17 years we never had an issue with our accelerator program
For 17 years we never had an issue with our accelerator program. Now that Earn up owns the previous company its been a night mare this past month. It started with seeing they took out $ 81 out of account without my knowledge. That caused an over draft. I was told it would take 1 to 3 business days to correct. It was almost a full week and a half. Then noticed that this week they took out almost $20 more then what I was told they were going to. When I called she said her system didn't update from the mortgage company that received the shortage for our mortgage from year in escrow. For 17 years I have received my escrow bill , paid it on time and the mortgage company has notified the Western Union (Earn UP now). She said the system the way it was working was showing shortages. I am done with this company and don't trust them. They really had a hard time trying to explain why they took an extra $20 out this week but were going back to the original payment that following week. I would not recommend this company at all. If I could leave 0 stars I would!
I greatly enjoy using the earn up accelerator program
I greatly enjoy using the earn up accelerator program. It makes all of our monthly mortgage payments mindless as they handle all payments to the lender on our behalf. The money is deducted from our checking account (we choose weekly) and there is nothing further you are expected to do unless a change in lender or mthly payment amount is necessary. I have hopped off and on the program several times seamlessly as we have had our mortgage refinanced multiple time. There has never been an issue nor is it hard to get ahold of a representative who is easy to communicate with. Today I had the pleasure of speaking with ***. She was wonderful and very happy to be working at earn up and was eager to know how my refinance worked and welcomed me back so enthusiastically. Also, if you are one of those who like to be self sufficient they have a login through a webportal where you can make edits/changes to your program(s). They send email notifications that your payments are on track every month for peace of mind. I highly recommend their services and will also look to connecting other loans so that I can forget about monthly *** pay all together while easily shortening loan terms. Thank you for everything today ***!
Echoing the comments by others, if I could leave zero stars I would
Echoing the comments by others, if I could leave zero stars I would. I had biweekly payments coming out of my account a month in advance to pay my mortgage the following month. My understanding of this was that the partial payments would be made to the mortgage company in advance of the full amount due, which would cause the interest to be paid down quicker and would shorten the life of the loan by 5 years. THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN. Earn Up paid my mortgage once a month. Why should I pay them $5 per transaction to pay my mortgage like I can do myself? In addition, money was taken out of my account in January for my February payment. My February payment was never made. I refinance my loan in February, and still by the 24th when I closed, my mortgage was not paid. I contact Earn UP, they tried to tell me the refinancing messed up the payment, but I know that's not true. I closed on the 24th, and my payment should have been made well before that. My credit took a hit of over 100 points now because of this. Earn Ups customer service told me I would receive a letter within 7-10 business days stating they messed up, and I was to use it to contact the credit bureaus to restore my credit score. 1) I think they should contact the credit bureaus, not me, and 2) I still have not received my letter and it's the end of April. I have now worked with my new mortgage company for them to draft partial payments from my account to pay for my mortgage, and it's free of charge. I really want my $5 per transaction back for the past two years since they did not do what they claimed they would be doing, i.e. paying the mortgage and interest off quicker. This company is a fraud and needs to be shut down.
If I could give this company zero stars I would
If I could give this company zero stars I would. They took over a biweekly payment plan from Equity Accelerator and failed from the start. They instantly began debiting an incorrect amount from our bank account, their agents do not understand the communication path between themselves and the mortgage company and they constantly try to "suspend" my account with them instead of "cancelling" it. Suspending the EarnUp account does not release my mortgage company to begin accepting online payments direct from me, nor does it allow me to create a biweekly payment plan direct with my mortgage company. I have spent over 2 months dealing with the errors on my EarnUp account and getting in cancelled, and am disgusted by the amount of time I have had to spend on this and the lack of training and lack of understanding that the EarnUp team have in regard to how their product interacts with mortgage companies. To be frank, it seems to me that they are being obtuse so that you give up and just leave the EarnUp account in place! While holding a conference call with an agent from my mortgage company and an EarnUp agent, the EU agent finally placed me on hold and manually forced a cancellation of my account. Why was this not done earlier? I have no clue if this has finally released my mortgage company to accept my online payments at this point and need to wait 24 hours before that becomes clear. The waste of my time and effort in clearing up a situation forced on my due to Equity Accelerator not giving the option of either cancelling the agreement or transferring it and the subsequent inability of EarnUp to meet their obligations has been frustrating and infuriating. I would never recommend this company to any one.
DO NOT USE EARN UP!
DO NOT USE EARN UP! DO NOT USE EARN UP! I've had Equity Accelerator since 2000 with relatively few problems. When there were issues they were easily and quickly resolved. Since Earn Up took over they started by sending the an incorrect amount to my mortgage company making it short on the payment. Then they were mailing my mortgage payment (YES, a paper check) to the the wrong address. February's check got lost for 2 months creating penalties associated with the mortgage. They had to cancel the check and resend so I was late 2 month's in a row. At that point I requested the account to be suspended and I would mail the payment myself since the correct address was not far from home. When I thought all the dust had settled down the final withdraw was an amount more than what was scheduled from my account. When I called to ask why, they said it was because of a shortage in the previous payment. I have never had that occur before. When there a change in the mortgage amount and a shortage occurred Equity Accelerator always stated I needed to go direct to my mortgage company to catch it up. Two weeks later I had Earn up withdraw another payment causing another overdraft fee then in the same day attempted a second withdraw which was rejected and an insufficient funds fee charged. 3 weeks later I am still fighting to get my returned, get them to reimburse all the penalties from my bank and other bills due to the money being taken AND EARN UP STATES THEY NEVER WITHDREW ANY MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT even though I gave them the Federal Reserve Transaction Number of that withdrawal. In a few days I will be forced to take legal action to get my money returned, all penalties and fees and anything else the court will allow for the trouble with crocked company!

I been using Earn Up to speed up my equity
I been using Earn Up to speed up my equity. They take out money from my checking every week and pay my mortgage. They always pay my mortgage late, like 30 days late. Right now, I'm 60 days late and in trouble. I stopped using them. This messed up my credit score. What are they doing with my money for so long? It doesn't seem right. I get charged late fees. They must be keeping my money for interest or it's a scam.
We used EarnUp for our mortgage but faced unexpected issues
We used EarnUp to pay off our house. However, they debited an extra payment from our account. As the primary account holders and nearly 30-year spouses, it's frustrating that they deny my wife's refund request. Despite initiating our service, they offer no assistance. My job requires long hours, and we urgently need our funds. I'm now forced to pay my credit union $25 to prevent further withdrawals. It appears many customers encounter similar issues with EarnUp. I plan to file a complaint with the Attorney General's office.
I had a mortgage account with Equity Accelerator, but they transferred/sold it to EarnUp in 2019
I had a mortgage account with Equity Accelerator, but they transferred/sold it to EarnUp in 2019. I got a notification from EarnUp that I missed a payment and needed to catch up. They contacted me multiple times, and I had no choice but to bring my account up to date. I talked to a staff member who told me to send the payment amount to them in their name, and they would post it. I sent the payment but didn't get a receipt. Two years later, I got a threatening letter saying I owed the same amount again. When I spoke to their representative, they told me to send payment by the end of the month or it would go to a collection agency. I asked for my account number, a manager's name, and a copy of my previous payment history, but they denied all three. They just told me to send payment to the company name and look me up by my name only.

Earnup is a great mortgage accelerator program that is FOR the customer. I had received a letter from my mortgage lender and wanted clarification via Earnup. I spoke with a very helpful and articulate representative named ***. She was able to break down important details in the letter I received and share additional details regarding my mortgage payments. I have zero interest in changing my plan with Earnup and I appreciated *** insight and assistance in helping me. Keep up the great customer service!
i spoke with *** today and she was as excited as i was that i am paying off my mortgage and ending my relationship with EarnUp. It has been a stress and worry-free relationship and i appreciate all the assistance. *** was very helpful, supportive and still very professional in our conversation.
The Earn up program worked very well and easy to work into my budget. When the loan was finished, calling in to cancel was very simple. *** was great to work with, polite and quickly took care of everything. Thanks
Payments were scheduled as requested. Smooth and easy. Called when paid in full, *** was a great personality and completed business flawlessly.
