EGO WILL NOT HONOR THEIR WARRANTY. EGO refuses to replace my defective battery I purchased at Lowe's, even though my many complaints were made within the 3 year warranty period. Three times I requested a manager. Each time, I was told one was not available, but would call me that day. Two weeks later, one finally called. She agreed that according to EGO records, my initial complaints were made in a timely fashion.
It has been not weeks, but months since my complaints. I am still waiting for a new battery.
Apparently, a customer cannot trust EGO to honor their written warranties.

EGO PowerPlus, it looks like you’re dodging your own warranty commitments. Tony Raymond has been chasing a replacement battery well within the 3-year warranty period, but instead of resolving the issue, you’ve left him hanging for months. Even after finally acknowledging his timely complaints, there's still no resolution. Ignoring a warranty isn’t just bad customer service — it’s a breach of trust. It’s time to step up, honor your warranty, and send the replacement battery Tony’s been waiting for.
Thank you for your comments!
