Yesterday my 90 year mother received a card in the mail that she thought came from Medicare. She called the number, still thinking she was talking to Medicare and the agent talked her into a new health policy. I know she didn't understand because she insisted (to us) she told the agent she did not want to change anything. She told us she was going to earn $100 plus more in monthly socical security. With her current policy she does not pay any premiums as a past employer grandfathered her in many years ago, so why would she want to change her policy? She was talked into a supplemental and has no idea what the details are. I immediately called eHealth and had to speak to 3 people and we still have not been able to cancel the policy as it is not available in their system. The agent only identified himself by his first name and I had to ask what company he represented. While spending an hour on the phone with them, my husband was on the phone with her current insurance company. Everyone, please watch out for elderly family members as these companies prey on them.

This company is looking to make money by working with Seniors to confuse them and harass them.
They are not interested in helping you. We are wasting many hours over many days trying to disenroll from a plan that should have NEVER been initiated.

Carly*** is the agent that enrolled my 86 year old father into a new plan after he clearly stated that she should do nothing until after they spoke to his daughter.
Carly ignored my voicemail questions and email questions and did not call me until after she had enrolled him.
We spend 43 minutes on a conference call between myself, my father, ehealth - Carly escaled to Bryan *** and then Aetna to try to end this nightmare.
I am concerned for the level of stress this has caused for my father. Bryan suggested he would babysit this issue and it should be resolved by tomorrow, yet today we got another email invitation from Bryan to enroll.
Is this a poorly run company or are they taking advantage of seniors? I believe they are preying on seniors. They did not care that my father was confused by them. It is a very dishonerable company.
Stay far away from them!

I was shopping for health insurance via the Internet as my Cobra coverage was ending from my previous employer. As I was debating which plan to go with, I asked the telephone salesperson if there was a deadline for submitting my application in order to be covered the following month. She assured me that I could wait until the day before but suggested that I get it done 3-5 days in advance. Only after I made my decision, did I learn that you must submit your application by the 15th of the month in order to be covered the following month. This has left me without health insurance coverage for a full month in the midst of a global pandemic.
The sales representatives are uninformed and while they are pleasant and seem to know what they are talking about, BEWARE!
The customer service representative that I dealt with after this was kind and did her best to help, but the outcome was the sameno coverage.
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND USING EHEALTH FOR ANYTHINGjust go to your state health insurance website if you need assistance.

My boyfriend was attempting to setup insurance today for himself and our child. He tried using ehealth to compare rates. When he tried going through with one, ehealth wouldn't allow him to verify his identity despite his answers being correct. He had to call several times in order for anyone to actually help him without immediately putting him on hold as soon as they pickup. The only person that helped was named Natalie, and unfortunately she was extremely rude. She treated him like he was a burden the entire phone call and even called him a *** at one point. Overall this is the absolutely WORST customer service either of us have ever experienced and will never recommend usage of ehealth.

eHealthInsurance Services I contacted eHealth and they put in the application to change my insurance from Plan F to Plan G with Anthem

I contacted eHealth and they put in the application to change my insurance from Plan F to Plan G with Anthem. Everything looked good as of Nov X XXXX. In Jan I received an email from them saying that my application was denied by Anthem and asked me to pick other options. I contacted Anthem who indicated that I was still enrolled. Sounds like a scam of some sort.

I was contacted today by phone by someone who stated I had went online to ehealthinsurance.com and proceeded to ask me what insurance I was looking for. I asked to have my name and number removed and to never be contacted again because I never went online to ehealthinsurance since I currenfly have corporate insurance coverage. The *** continued to insist I went online no matter how many times I said I did not. Only when I stated I would report themthem for contact did he finally hang up. Using false information is wrong! I was unemployed in May and explored the federal marketplace prior to going on COBRA. I have never visited ehealthinsurance. I have been employed since Octover 2019 and have no need to seek other information. This company is getting information on others from elsewhere!

We are receiving numerous advertisements for Medicare Enrollees for someone who has been deceased 4 years and passed *** in a previous State!

It's hurtful on SO many levels (especially since the anniversary is just days away)!

I tried calling the number on the last postcard and the call wouldn't even go through! EHEALTHINSURANCE SVCS, INC. is named as the sender.

eHealthInsurance Services I received a postcard from EHEALTHINSURANCE SVCS, INC

I received a postcard from EHEALTHINSURANCE SVCS, INC. today (see attachment for photo) regarding a Medicare Advantage Plan. I have had no previous contact with this business so I am not sure how they obtained my name and address or why I received a postcard about Medicare as it will be a couple of decades before I am eligible for Medicare. I would like my name removed from their mailing list and I would like all communication from them and their partners to cease immediately.

E-Health sales persons continue to call my mother (who has *** and changes her Medicare Supplemental Insurance Policies, As the result of these changes, her deductibles (that she had already reached) start over costing her more money and costing me time in trying to correct this situation. They are abusing an elderly person who does not have the ability to make valid decisions. This has happened more than once. I have reported this to social security and Medicare and they tell me there is nothing they can do because they are approved brokers.. The policy of giving phone #'s of Medicare recipients to insurance brokers must stop! The is elder abuse.

eHealthInsurance Services I purchased Dominion dental insurance through E health in 2017 and never canceled my policy

I purchased Dominion dental insurance through E health in 2017 and never canceled my policy. My dentist contacted me on September 13 to tell me that dominion dental is denying all my claims. I called and spoke with someone from E health and they told me "we don't deal with Dominion anymore". I told them don't have any idea what that means and that I purchased health insurance through them, never canceled and don't understand why my claims are being denied. I was told the supervisor would call me back and they never did.

passed away 6 years ago. eHealth keeps advertising to him to purchase their policy. They will not remove him from their mailing list. Numerous times I have called and returned their mail to get them to take him off the list. Their reference number for him is ***. Phone number on mail was XXX-XXX-XXXX. This administration should review their records to ensure the policies on advertising are up to date. This error tells me that this company is not a good business to deal with. I hope you can resolve this problem for me. Thank you for your time.

I mistakenly accessed the site thinking it was a generic medicare information site. 58 calls 12/22, 12 calls so far, 12/23. ignoring STOP & calls. On 12/22, at about 3:30 I mistakenly accessed the site thinking it was a generic medicare information site. Filled out the form. Got to end of form - was asked to call them for quote. Realized they were telemarketing firm. Exited site without completing form. Within minutes, I received a telemarketing call which I declined.Eventually I picked up and explained that I didn't want their service. They said okay. I picked up a second call to the same end. This time the telemarketer hung up on me. The calls continued shortly after. Then the texts began. I twice entered "STOP" to stop contact. They twice returned texts that they would no longer contact me. The calls and texts continued immediately after until their close of business. 12/22, I got 58 calls beginning 3:30pm. Today, I got the first call at 6:00a.m. They continue to call me several times per hour. I am not 'declining' or picking up. It's 11am - 12 calls so far today, 12/23 with no end in site. The company, Medicare.com, was bought out by Healthcare service, inc in 2016. I believe they're operating from a Mountain View address, ***, or the CEO *** have no direct contact info. Just a general phone number. I left a message at that number at their Mountain View, CA address this morning at about 10:30. Left my name, phone number and a brief explanation. These guys are relentless. They need to stop. Now. Thank you

eHealthInsurance Services I bought health insurance for my spouse via ehealth

I bought health insurance for my spouse via ehealth, requesting a 1/1 start date, but it began immediately. In December , I secured coverage for my spouse through ehealth, aiming for a 1/1 start, yet it commenced on the application day. They acknowledged the error, promising to refund December's payment. They also conceded to refunding a mispresented gap insurance policy. Their finance team sent a W-9 for the agreed refund, which I returned on 4/17, but I've yet to receive the payment. My attempts to reach ehealth have been unanswered.

eHealthInsurance Services This company participates in relentless marketing mailings for Medicare plans

This company participates in relentless marketing mailings for Medicare plans. I have called several the number of the back of these cards that are addressed to both me and my mother who is in a nursing home. I have requested to be removed from these mailing lists for both of us and yet the mailings continue to be mailed almost weekly. I am past the point of lost patience with these kinds of mailings but this has become ridiculous with this company. Sometimes they send two cards at a a time. I want both myself and my mother's names/addresses removed from these mailings and from any partners they are involved with once and for all. This includes residential and mailing addresses.

eHealthInsurance Services I'm plagued by daily unsolicited calls from a company I've repeatedly asked to stop.

I have been receiving a barrage of unsolicited calls DAILY from a company representing a service I have consistently asked to stop contacting me with NO success whatsoever! These representatives have hung up while I was trying to explain, etc. I have asked numerous times to be placed on a DO NOT CALL LIST but, the calls PERSIST! I feel this is a form of harassment. I unequivocally feel, for certain, these people are NOT representing the legitimate PROGRAM of which I am a member! These people are VERY persistent and have elevated the word nuisance to a new level! Can you PLEASE assist me in this matter before I will have to pursue legal assistance to resolve this issue? Thank you, in advance, for any assistance you can render in resolving this monumental problem! Sincerely.

eHealthInsurance Services eHealth Insurance is using undisclosed methods to send me unsolicited physical mail.

eHealth Insurance is using undisclosed methods to send me unsolicited physical mail. I do NOT want to receive these. It's wasteful and environmentally unfriendly. They supposedly have an opt-out policy. I attempted to contact them but received no reply. The letter suggests calling a number, which led to an agent unaware of the mailings. Without a clear business address or contact info, their legitimacy is questionable. eHealth must ensure accountability for their marketing services. I demand removal from their mailing list.

eHealthInsurance Services I contacted the dental insurance in June to enroll in their Dental Value Plan and the agent confirmed my dentist's network inclusion.

I reached out in June to enroll in the Dental Value Plan. The agent confirmed my preferred dentist, Dr. Smith, was in-network. I verified this online and attached proof. After paying $49.99 and July's fee, Dr. Smith's office informed me they don't accept this plan. Customer service suggested a different dentist, which was unacceptable. Despite promises, they haven't addressed my refund request for $81.97. I've attached the receipt and am seeking a fair resolution as I haven't used the alternative dentist's services.

On April 6,2021 I called ehealth marketplace to get help deciding on a new Medicare plan since my old plan I got in California wasn't good in Arizona where I was moving in late March. The person who I consulted with said since I had a pre-existing condition I couldn't get a Medicare supplement plan. He said I could only get a Medicare Advantage plan in Arizona. I told him the name of the doctor and organization that I was going to be treated at for *** cancer and came up with a plan he said my doctor took. Turns out the process of him getting me a plan my doctor and provider took was flawed and incorrect. When I called my medical provider in Arizona to give them the member ID number for authorization for my treatments, they said the plan he told me was right and my doctor took the plan was not correct. This company's information about which doctors take a particular insurance was flawed . I have to delay my cancer treatments for 5 weeks because this sales agent screwed up.

eHealthInsurance Services This complaint is about an individual who works for E-Health Inc regarding insurance services

This complaint is about an individual who works for E-Health Inc regarding insurance services. I am caregiver for my elderly sister who suffers from Dementia and on June 10th of this year, when she was contacted via telephone representing E Health Insurance Inc.. The lady who contacted my sister (who had been declared incompetent by her physician due to the Dementia. I have this employees name as she cancelled my Sisters current Medicare Group plan and signed her up for a Humana Plan for which she did not request and for which she expressed no interest in changing plans. I have spent an untold number of hours trying to straighten this matter out and trying to get her re-enrolled in her previous plan. This employee should be disciplined based on her actions which were unethical and goes against the guidelines set by Medicare. I have also filed a complaint with Medicare and they expressed concern about this employees action. I have left messages for CEO of E health w/ no response.

eHealthInsurance Services I visited the website and now I'm being harassed non stop by phone calls

I visited the website and now I'm being harassed non stop by phone calls. I've asked them to stop and they won't. I went on this company's website to simply peruse their health insurance options. I had no intention of switching as I have marketplace insurance and as bad as that has become, I know it's going to be better than anything these people can offer no matter their claims on tv. So I looked and saw they actually send people to the marketplace and offer short term insurance. I looked at the short term insurance. The short term insurance could barely be called insurance. I stopped looking. Within a few minutes, the deluge began. Within 2 minutes, I had gotten FOUR CALLS from people saying I asked for a quote or a call. I never did either of these things. I ONLY ever visited ehealth's website. Between 2:25 and 2:50 I had 11 calls! Now I've had 18 calls (that my phone has actively recorded) from people insisting I asked for a health quote and that they are the VERY first to call me EVER. Sometimes they call me WHILE someone else is on the phone harassing me. I'm beyond sick of this. I can't make them stop by asking. I can't make them stop by losing my temper. I can't make them stop by putting my lawyer father on the phone! I'm actually getting a migraine over this! This is ridiculous and I can't even stop it because none of the numbers are the same. They are all spoofed, randomized numbers to get around such things. I don't want anything. I just want this shady company with their predatory practices to go away!
