Refrigerator purchased from Lowes on 02/07/2022, with a 1 year manufacturer warranty. 09/04/2023 ice maker broke, 09/09/2023 "high temp" alarm consistently beeps, evaporator fan doesn't turn on and refrigerator is warm. 09/13/2023 spoke with Frigidaire representative Jerzey at 1:45pm, icemaker recall was acknowledged along with the purchase of an extended warranty, my father was informed a tech would be scheduled out to repair and diagnose the issues. 09/15/2023 icemaker arrives, I called Frigidaire on 09/18/2023 spoke with representative Jase at 9:16am, she then explained the warranty wasn't effective until 60 days later from purchase. Electrolux/frigidaire sells faulty products that do not last even 2 years, and this company preys on the elderly. I was sent around in circles from representatives of Lowes and Electrolux/Frigidaire avoiding the repair and/or replacement of this Model FRSS2623AW1 refrigerator. My father has lost food and insulin because of it. How can I get my 71yr old Father who is also a retired veteran on a fixed income a reliable refrigerator?
Desired outcome: Repair or replace the refrigerator
