My sparks driver pay being sent to the wrong card which does not belong to med number
I have been a driver with Sparks delivering for Walmart for over 2 years. I go out and I work for my pay. Sparks sends my pay to an app called branch which is handled by evolve Bank. Well on May 26th I did a transfer from my Branch app to my checking account which I always do it to the same place my checking account. This particular we could ask me if I wanted it instant I needed the money a little quicker than 3 to 5 business days so I said yes. Well evolve bank transfer the money to a card that has been attached to my branch wallet. This card does not belong to me I have no idea how it got added to my wallet. My pay wasn't much this week it was $226. 22 cents. I have repeatedly emailed and called branch they will not investigate into this all they say is we paid you. No they didn't pay me they paid somebody else my money. They keep saying my situation is resolved no it's not resolved I never got my pay for working. I have repeatedly tried to remove this card from my wallet it is not possible we are not giving an option to delete it. I didn't realize this happened because I asked for instant transfer until just recently went again I needed my money a little quicker so I agreed to the instant transfer. Well the next morning I look at my checking account my money is not there I go back to the branch app and see that they transferred it to the same card all I have is the last four numbers it doesn't give me any other information what bank belongs to nothing. So here I am two weeks of pay that I didn't get.. again I've been trying to get my money from the first one for 2 months evolve Bank is a bank but they will not tell me where this money is tell me what bank it went to nothing all I have is the last phone numbers of a card which does not belong to me. I had to fill out a dispute form which the dispute form is nothing to do with our pay it is to do with merchants credits. I was told over and over again to fill it out so I did I get an email back saying that I may not get a credit depending on their decision. What decision it is my money they are a bank they mishandled it . They sent my money to somebody elses card . How are they not responsible to fix this. Or at least provide information to me on what bank it is maybe even a full account number. I used to be very very dominant delivery driver for Walmart/Sparks. But now because Walmart Sparks wood allow such a irresponsible Bank to handle their finances for their drivers I have cut way back. Because why work I'm not getting my money. I know it's only a little bit over $400 that I'm talking about but still it's my money I worked for it. Spark says they can't do anything about it because they don't handle the money they just transfer it to the evolve bank branch apps after that it's Branch's problem. Well it's not Branch's problem as far as they're concerned. It's got to be somebody's damn problem it's my money. I've done over a thousand deliveries for Walmart and I'm only one driver. I'm just amazed at Walmart would allow such a irresponsible Bank handle the driver's money.
I need help getting my money nobody seems to want to help find out where this money went. I promise I will start a lawsuit against everybody involved just to protect other drivers from this happening too.

Money Transfer
Somehow and someway, Evolve Bank & Trust was added to my Lyft account and took withdrawals totaling an estimated $1500.00 over a 3 day period. Lyft has not been able to help me. Lyft has told me this new bank information was added to my account May 5th, 2023 and it’s out of their control. I just read these complaints and want to add to it. At this point I’m not sure what to do. Seek legal counsel or go to ABC news on your side? Maybe both? The picture shown in my complaint has the top 3 withdrawals of express pay going to a different bank. Totals are May 5th $278.58, May 8th $175.90, May 8th $476.48

Evolve took my bonus check from my job and used first state bank as a cover my check was 1500 dollars I had no idea what was going on I want my money back they claim they are a credit building company but there not they waited til they new Walmart bonus we’re bout to pay out and took money I have been on phone all morning and finally tracked it down to this company evolve who I never heard of please help

Fraud Department and Accountability
In closing on a transaction of $35,153.00, I discovered a large sum of my money was transferred to the wrong Evolve account holder. To try and recoup the funds I had to leave a message on the Evolve fraud line. After a few days I received a phone call from the Evolve fraud department and they told me they deal with more than 200 banks under their company umbrella and the request had to go to a different fraud department. It's been over a month since the case was opened and no word from Evolve. I've filed a police report in a last ditch effort to try and recoup my funds.

On October 30, 11pm I went online to search for reviews of places to borrow cash for gas so my husband could get back and forth to work. After downloading Dave’s app, I had to set up with my email ([protected]@msn.com) and phone [protected]). Then it asks for your bank and debit card. I linked both and tried to borrow $75 only to be told it would only be transferred to my bank card not our bank account. My husband needed the cash not me.
I immediately contacted Dave’s support to unlink our bank account and to unlink my debit card. It’s October 31, 2022 and I’ve yet to get a response from anyone. I’ve emailed and emailed them countless times since last night.
My husband is filing a complaint with our bank today in regards to all of this as well.
Desired outcome: Unlink our bank account, remove my debit card, totally delete all of our bank information and close and delete my account since it won’t allow me to do any of this.
fraudulent wire transfer for $32,000.
I was scammed. The Evolve bank accepted a wire transfer from my bank, Wells Fargo, on Aug 16. It was for 32k, derived from an incredible scam. I called Evolve within 30 minutes of the wire going and told them of the fraud. The girl who answered the phone transferred us to the Fraud Dept and we explained the scam. That was a week and 6 calls ago. The Pondu Group’s name and account number were provided to the Fraud Dept, namely a girl named Tarria at [protected]. She is not calling us back. Never received my ach payment transfer funds
I had a direct deposit go through on February 7th that took 11 business days to be verified business days. On the 23rd the day of verification should have been completed I never received it. Mortgage budget drafting program
Last year I was enrolled in the budget drafting program and have been on time with my payments every time, without fail. One day, I called and enquired about what happens if there are 3 pay periods in a month, and if people ever get the advantage of that extra week?
Well... Whatever genius I spoke with took it upon themselves to remove me from the program without my knowledge, or permission.
I have since had several phone calls with random employees trying to explain what happened, and how it is not possible for me to re-enroll with $1500 in one payment to get back on board. I've already paid the $1500 to enroll last year, and shouldn't have to pay again, seeing that it was evolve's error by removing me from the program to begin with.
I have continued paying bi-monthly, on time, $500.00 each pay period, regardless.
Now, you've started sending my checks back, and charging me late fees stating my check didn't total $1, 000.00. I actually returned the check back to you, to deposit, explaining all this.
Please resolve this issue, as i'm very dissatisfied with your company, and am actively seeking another mortgage lender if this issue doesn't go away.
Please re-enroll me into the budget drafting, as i'm a good reliable customer, never miss a payment as long as you stop rejecting my checks! I've never had a company reject a payment directly from bank of america bill pay!
Please allow me back into the program, without charging me another advance month's payment, and stop this stressful, unnecessary game.

Mortgage
I started talking with them on May 20th, on May 28th I had a contract on a house and the process started. I was told over and over it would only take a week or 2 to get the process completed. It is now July 22 and still no closing. No explaination or appology from Evolve, just a "not our problem". All from Office Manager, Lender, underwriter, and processor. Now we are rented a home since we closed on our previous home. Costing us $100 until we can move into our new home. And again, Evolve said, "not our problem"
not following contract obligations
This utah based company was suppose to help and assist me on real estate deals plus enroll me into there mentoring program which was suppose to be only for a certain few people so I gave them a investment fee of $7500 dollars whiched should have gave me access to more people and services they said it offered but i never recieved any extra help or any services the contract listed. I only got broken promises and found myself leaving voice messages on peoples answer machines with no return calls i have tried speaking to there support line as well as owners matthew easton and sean but seem to be getting no where with them.. at this point they are becoming very unprofessional and i cannot trust them or there services. i just want a refund or all services that are listed on the contract met to the fullest.!

This company is a complete SCAM! Promises are made...that have no backbone to them. Mr, Dane Westmoreland convinced me to put $6, 000 on a credit card to invest with this real estate scam. I am 73 years old and advised him that I could not pay it back if the program did not pay off like he said. He assured me that I would clear this debt in 90 days. Lies, Lies, Lies! I live on social security and a small pension and this has posed a real hardship to me. Should anyone out there know how to recover the money from these people, please let me know!
Lack of service/accountability
I was in the process of securing a new mortgage when sometime during the process Evolve acquired all the assets and pending loands of the original company. Didn't seem like a big deal at the time. I received a payment book from Evolve (hadn't seen one of those in years) and again didn't think it a big dea. I began trying to track my account on line - not an option. They had quite an elaborate web site - but only to make payments from. I called Evolve and got what appears to be the only accountant on staff - very snarky. She notified me I could call any time and she could give me the information I needed. Maybe it's a small thing but I have two homes and I check the statements monthly to make sure all payments are received and applied appropriately.
Evolve has now sold the servicing of loans to a 3rd party. They do have a website to track on payments - which was wonderful - except that they have no history prior to the date they assumed servicing. I received an annual escrow adjustment and three months later I received a 2nd one. Total monthly change = $60. I have never experienced such a jump in all my years of home ownership and i certainly have never received two in the same year. I contacted the servicing company - taxes and insurance have not increased - in fact insurance went down. They informed me that they did not receive enough of a balance from Evovle when they took over. I said this is a problem since my deposits have been made regularly. They said they would look into it and three days later I got a copy of the new - but same ecscow "analysis". There are no managers, supervisors or anyone capable of making a decision. I told them I'm not paying it and that they may have the home back - as i have another. Their automated complaint system resulted in one response telling me how to get a pay off balance - issue was categorized as reslved. I wrote again and was informed "it was illegal" not to pay the mortgage. That issue was marked resolved as well. No one is capable of addressing what appears to be the most basic of "servicing" questions but there is no dealing with this company. Apparently when they run short of cash they issue out random increased billing statements and assume there's nothing anyone can do about it. Run - don't walk away from this company. They are like ghosts and there's no accountability and they don't mind letting customers know that they are foolish to expect any.

Home Loan
We were supposed to close on our home almost two weeks ago. This bank frankly does not care and is dragging their feet, not communicating with us and not providing any service or answers. The buyers and sellers have both done everything they can do and the bank is just out to lunch. Calls have been made, paperwork submitted, requirements met, title work done, every single person has done everything they needed to do in time to close except this bank. We do not have preliminary sellers figures yet, lender package? NOT DONE! HUD Approval NOT DONE. Oh, do we have a closing date? NO! Was supposed to close on the 10th and what do we hear? Crickets. Zip! Meanwhile, airline tickets are purchase, the UHAUL has been rented, things are packed in boxes and three family are being held hostage by this &^$# lame incompentent bank! DO NOT DO NOT do business with them. It will cost you money and time and frustration. NEVER do business with a bank you've never heard of, stick to the local tried and true.
What I found was a lot of hate towards religion
I was looking for a Winter Solstice card and found this site. I thought it would have some interesting stuff that is not focused on religion. Unfortunately what I found was a lot of hate towards religion. They say it's "witty" or "clever" but in fact it is just religion hating. I am not a religious person, but I don't hate people who have faith in their religion. I had to leave the site after a few moments because of the vile attitude. The solstice card I originally pulled up did not have anything to say about the solstice, it only ranted about their hatred of God. Very, Very Sad site.
I don't agree with the statement that EvolveFISH.com promotes hatred of religious people. Our site has lots of material that support specific "religious" ideas. For example, our Coexist line clearly encourages the cooperation of various religions. In all of our areas of interest, we try to talk about principles, not people. We talk a lot about science and rational thought, civil rights, respect and dignity for all. Those are the areas we enjoy the most.
Sometimes individuals put themselves in positions as figure heads for a movement. We might make a joke about them. Charles Darwin for example.. But they are never intended as our main focus

I was duped by Evolve Bank and Trust. Discouraged by previous mortgage company LSI Mortgage Plus, I contacted Evolve B&T in Carrolton, TX. Guess I'm doubly duped. Sent all my sensitive info: social security number, tax forms for 2 yrs, employment history. Spent $450 for yet another appraisal. Closing supposedly in a matter of weeks. As time grew near, I was told by Chris Hill, loan officer, they could only give me a fraction of cash out refi and pay off my credit cards. Asked for refi only. Was told twice in 2 days, "I'll call you back in a half hr"...NEVER HAPPENED! Was told, which sounds fishy...I deducted education materials on my taxes (college instructor) which makes my salary go down. Granted my salary is not high, had stellar credit. Quoted Fannie Mae rules...not sure if it's correct or not...never heard from CHRIS HILL, and I'm out $450 AGAIN! SWINDLERS or unethical at the least. Now I regard loan refinancers in same category as other ruthless businesses.
In regards to Mr. Hill's comment, he is looking at it through his business view, not the customer/client. Yes, I'm aware of my income:debt ratio. But to start at $65K cash out 9what I wanted), then down to $41K (Evolve's figure for cash out), then down to a measely $1K and pay off credit card debt, I felt it was a 'bait and switch tactic. I talked to a former mortgage colleague...that's NOT the usual way of handling a refi. FIRST you go through the Fannie Mae Freddie Mac info to see if a client qualifies, NOT the reverse reducing amount of cash out in equity. I perceived it as a 'bait and switch'.
Secondly, I waited 3 hrs the first time Chris said he would call "in a half hour". Seeing that he did not respond, I emailed suggesting he call me later in the afternoon. There was no call in the afternoon. NOTHING! Next day, I called after talking over options, what would a simple refi w/ NO cash out be...again, "I'll call in a half hour". NEVER TRANSPIRED! I waited the entire day...no phone call, no follow up email, NOTHING! After a day longer, I posted this message.
At first, it was constant communication, phone tag, but there was communication. The last 2 instances, I felt jilted. I faxed, emailed all the pertinent info in a timely manner, even driving 100 mi. RT to get the information to Chris.
Lastly, when I heard the "boiler room" background noise, I knew this was not a guy in a mortgage office at a brick and mortar bank...or just "my perception".
Since there are other complaints about Evolve and their practices, I felt compelled to relay my experience so someone doesn't have to waste their time 'jumping through the hoops' only to find out the refinance or cash out equity would not occur.
By not having any feedback from Chris after he said he'd call in a half hour (twice!), as a customer, I felt dissed. If Mr. Hill had only been upfront from the get go, (indicating I did not qualify for the refi, the loan) it would have spared us both time and aggrevation, a month's time spent and lost. I would MUCH prefer finding out (even though I have excellent credit scores/history spanning 30+ yrs and monetary resources not in investments listed on IRS tax forms) I did not qualify vs. dangling a carrot only to be disenchanted at the end.

I have to agree with everyone here with complaints against Evolve Bank and DIStrust! We dealt with their incompetent people too!
It took at least a month to get the documentation together because they were so disorganized and incompetent. It was a constant flow of emails daily to send docs sometimes up to 3 times because their people couldn't read them, open them or print them. They didn't know what they wanted! It was ridiculous amounts of time wasted with their incompetent people.
We were turned down by them and positively assured that if we could find someone that could make it work they would give the new lender anything they could "to help". They helped us alright! Right out of the deal!
We were able to find someone that was able to make it work. Nothing illegal, just someone better at their job. It took 2 days to get to the underwriting process with the new lender! Two days!
When Evolve finally (after days of waiting and numerous calls and emails) transferred over the FHA case ID number they voluntarily added info that caused us to be denied. As if to say, "if you don't go thru us, you don't go thru anyone!"
Even our new lender said they were low down and dirty! He had never seen anyone do such things.
I DON'T RECOMMEND EVOLVE BANK AND TRUST EVEN TO MY WORST ENEMY!

I sent all of my information as well only for them to say I wrote off 18, 000 on my tax returns; they never mentioned that it will be deducted from my income not that it matters due to having a high salary. the RUDEST, MOST UNPROFESSIONAL lender I have ever encountered. It makes me wonder how he is the branch manager. I guess that should tell you something about their company right there! If you want your loan to go through, I recommend you moving your
business somewhere else.. Make sure you read complaints, because it can help determine if that's a company you should be doing business with.
I refinanced with Evolve Bank last year, started out with one loan officer that was not prompt in his business. He did not return my calls at times up to two days if at all. The appraisal had already been done then they came up with a need for an elevation survey, another $400. My house is not in the flood zone even though it is waterfront it is 31 feet above the water. Also I have a septic system that the county would not have allowed to be installed if it were in a flood zone. By that time I already had too much money invested to cancel the refinance or I would have. Now I cannot get a copy of the appraisal or the survey from them without additional payments. They were supposed to be part of my closing paperwork, but were not included. This company does not perform professional work and I can't say for certain but I do believe they are on the crooked end. Meaning they will do or say anything they think you want to hear to get your money. I recently ran my credit report and they are still checking my credit even with no late payments. Would not recommend them to anyone for a refinance.

I submitted all my info for a VA refi on July 19th. Was contacted a few times to submit additional information which i did. Last contact from these idiots was August 20th. Over 45 days after file was submitted I still have heard nothing. Bruce Grimes ask for my business at Evolve Bank and Trust and as soon as I sign on he pawns me off on an incompetent loan processor lady that clearly has no clue. You don't ask for two years of tax statements 30 days after your initial application. Luckily all that i have had come out of this is a credit inquiry. If you wanted cash out and your DTI was close when it came to getting you apporved then paying off debt or credit cards and saving you monthly would be your only route, youpay off credit cards it brings down your dti while doing a refi and when it s a cash out refi. I agree with Paul Moriarty. Mr. Hill should not be discussing anyone's financials on a public board such as this. As a licensed Realtor in the state of Nebraska I would never send a client to Evolve Bank & Trust. I have a transaction that was to close today-Sept. 7, 2012. It is not closing and to top it off the lender will not return my phone calls or emails. My seller is not very happy.

This Bank Evolve bank and trust is the worst to do business with.
I have been trying to refinance my house with this bank and after they told me that i would have
no problem refinancing and after they asked me to pay 350.00 dollars for an appraisal and an additional
80.00 dollars for a payoff fee to my current mortgage company, at the end they are unable to refinace my property and right now I am out all this money and not very happy.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
