Cash App Money disappeared

Money Disappeared

I've never had money disappear from my PayPal or Venmo. This is completely unacceptable. It's been about a month since filling a complaint. With all evidence provided. The customer service rep basically said he was sorry. There was nothing he could do except hand the complaint over to higher authority. Cash app has employees stealing money and no one is being reimbursed... Also, they have hidden my one star review on Google Play Store.

Cash App Fraudulent activity on my account

I’ve submitted the details about several fraudulent transactions done to my account. Having submittted an itemized list of each transaction date and time and amount I was rudely astonished that my response was simply that my accoujt was closed and no further information was available. Having done more research into the issue I realized I needed to veriffy my account which I did and received notification of such action. I then resubmitted all the same information not once twice but 4 times. I was told i would receive letter regarding my issue. With nothing ever sent. I was told a representative would be getting back to me which eventually happened but was then asked again for an itemized list of transactions in dispute. Really? You can find that information in the feed on my account more than once. Zero service, Zseo resolve. Zero satisfaction. These guys should change the name to Zero Pp

Cash App I can't verify my identity on my cash app account

I can't verify my identity on my cash app account, I basically can't do anything until I verify my identity like (spending/receiving bitcoin, getting the cash app debit card, increasing my sending/ receiving cash limit, etc). So I put in my legal name, date of birth, and full social security number. But after I took a very crystal clear picture of my passport id and a very crystal clear face picture of myself for photo id, cash app says (as shown in the screenshot) “couldn't verify your identity this may affect your ability to use some features in the app”. No matter what I do, I can't seem to fix this issue. I made sure all the information I put in was correct, and I even tried to make a new account only for the same exact issue to occur again.

Cash App Disability withdrawn by multiple people

My disability card was stolen and used to withdraw money ($2400) via Cash App. We called B of A and checked with them. The bank gave us names and the transactions made. Customer service would not even take down the names those transactions were made and asked us to contact the bank. The customer service is weak and not supportive, nor do they want to make the initiative to improve their service quality by preventing fraudulent transaction.

Desired outcome: Action taken to prevent fraudulent withdrawals by verifying identity. Provide some sort of refund

This company has not only taken my money but has also taken my piece of mind and now me and my child are homeless due to the fraud this company does. They robbed my bank of america account and refuse to pay me what is owed . In december 2022, i received a settlement in the amount of $29,576. I went to bank of america and deposted half into my checking account and half into my savings. Because i already had funds, i was wating for my bank of america card to come in, i linked my account to cash app and thats where it went all wrong, ive been tryng to dispute charges but because they have such a long process i have still been trying to get my money back,.

Cash App Unhappy

I have had cash app for a while and at the beginning I really enjoyed it. But now I have people sending me money. I am excepting it and then y’all cancel it due to my protection.. but what I don’t understand is that if I excepted it should be sent through because I am approving it that it’s OK. Cash App Financial/banking

I lost my Cash App Cash Card, in December of 2022. And ever since then I have been in the process of attempting to get them to reissue it. I got this account for the most part to be able to send and receive money between my mother and a few close friends. I have not had but one issue to come up with this account that was reported, and it still remains unresolved to this point. This complaint is the rudeness and uncooperative customer support staff. They are willing to do most anything except listen to the issues, attempt to resolve them, and mostly refuse to transfer a phone call to a supervisor when requested. They were so against transferring me to a supervisor that it makes me question whether or not the cash app company themselves might be using my account for something fraudulent. I am completely confident that due to this complaint my account will be closed with no explanation, but I feel that I need to register it anyway.

Desired outcome: Reissue lost card and actually review inial complaint that was filed back in summer 2023.

They are holding up deposits and pending them and not responding to complaints. No customer service when you call, just recording. I am deleting the ap but something needs done to shut them down. They are nothing but scammers and getting worse at keeping your money for longer periods of time. Today my daughter sent me 25.00 at 2:20 PM and it’s been over an hour. This is not the first time. Use to be immediate transfer of funds and last time took 2 days. The sent me.70 for the inconvenience. I am on disability and I know it’s only a little amount to some but a lot to me when I have nothing.

Cashapp sucks and should be shut down. They also closed my account for no reason and used them for years and always was able to talk to whoever when something was wrong with no problems. I hope they get banned from ever being able to do this kind of business ever again. Chime and SoFi are so much better.

Cash App CashApp taxes

I filed my 2022 taxes with cashapp because they did them for free. It ended up costing me $260. Not only did they do it wrong and I never got my refund, when I reached out to their customer service every single time I got an e mail from them saying "we are not tax experts...", then maybe they shouldn't be doing people's taxes! I had to go to my state and amend my return, Cashapp has no clue about taxes or customer service.

Desired outcome: I am still waiting for my refund of $260

Cash App Disputes

In June I was charged for a subscription to a company that I have no idea what it was. It’s called instacheckmate I called the company and they deactivated the account because it was not made money. Cash App refunded me and then they reversed it and they refused to give it back the company tonight refund me because it was considered a chargeback, and when they attempted to refund it was in dispute so it was unable to be refunded, so Cash App is awesome only responsible for that. They have denied my dispute 20 times without telling me why and my money is being held up and refunds have been given to them also it has nothing but fraud. The customer service is absolutely terrible. They know nothing about anything , I want my money back ASAP and they will not talk to me and I can’t get a hold of anybody

Cash App Customer service and stolen money

I have all the evidence against CASHAPP and its employees. CASHAPP has made fake transactions in my acct and stole the money. When trying to get help it is impossible with CASHAPPS support team. They are incompetent and deceiving. They hang up on you. Today spoke with someone in corporate support. I could not even get a word out she kept speaking over me because she knew I knew what they have been doing. She was supposed to email me her proof. It never came because she knows she was lying just to get me off the phone. 2 months down a rabbit hole trying to get my stolen money back from CASHAPP. CASHAPP stole my money. Anyone who reads this. Check your transaction history and anyone you know who uses CASHAPP let them be warned about CASHAPPS fake transactions. I’m ready to get the FBI involved due to CASHAPPS inability to resolve an issue that they have caused.

Desired outcome: All my money returned to me that CASHAPP has stolen.
