I have purchased 2 dresses at full price and returned them in perfect condition (never worn). I spent £34 to return the dresses with Royal mail, recorded delivery as I did not want to chance it with a non recorder parcel.
All of the above to only receive 50% of the refund. I have asked in like 6/7 emails as to why and all I get is a copied and paste answer stating:
Our Returns Department thoroughly inspects returned items, and in some cases, a 50% restocking fee may be applied. This usually occurs when:
• The returned items show damage, stains, holes, defects, or signs of wear.
• Items are returned beyond the 30-day return window.
• Final sale items are returned
However, none of the above applies in my case, so why can't I have a full refund. I spent £140 on 2 dresses, retuned them in perfect condition, spend £34 for post and received £70 refund in a form of credit voucher. This is a scam!
I want a real explanation as to why I only got 50% refund and real evidence of whatever is your reason, enough copy and paste answers.
Claimed loss: £70
Desired outcome: Full refund
