However, there has been a recent change in their return resolution policy which has left me shocked and disappointed.
I purchased a bag worth $600, but to my dismay, I received a completely different bag. When I tried contacting them, the queue was long and I was unable to wait due to being preoccupied with my duties. I checked the item I originally ordered, and it turned out that they had no stock left. So, I proceeded to action return for a refund and headed to the post office to send back the wrong item. Everything seemed fine at this point, as the return was lodged and sent off. The item was collected and received by The Iconic on the 10th of March. However, it has been over a month now and still no refund.
When I questioned them, I was given the same answer every time - they would pass it on and it would be taken care of in the next few days. As time went by, I received an email from a senior member, stating that they would not be accepting my refund request. I was shocked! What had happened? I had documentary proof that I had sent the item back through AU post, and that The Iconic had indeed collected the wrong bag - which they so carelessly sent to me, to begin with. Despite all my evidence and pleas, they just brushed me off - it did not seem to worry them that it was $600 of my hard-earned money, plus they had already received the wrong bag that they had sent me.
This was not all that bothered me, though. I had also sent back a damaged basketball, which had holes in it and could not be blown up. I had sent this item back over 2 months ago, and to this day, I am still waiting for the exchange to come through. If you try tracking the shipment, you will not find it anymore because it has been so long.
I have come to a conclusion here – that The Iconic is being very deceitful. They pretend not to have received your returns, and as time passes and the tracking details cannot be found, they get away with not returning your money. I am still waiting on other high-priced items that I purchased a while ago - they were returned and collected by The Iconic, yet I still have not received any refunds.
This is utterly disgusting and downright dirty actions by The Iconic - they should be ashamed of themselves. The items I returned have been collected and well-documented, so I demand my refunds. They will NEVER see another dollar from me again. Shame on you The Iconic - shame!
