They were really good
They were really good. The guys who moved my stuff wrapped and put together all my big furniture before and after the move. I had a huge couch that was hard to move, and they tried three different ways to get it in...and they did it faster than they said they would! They were really fast and nice.

Fine Express Inc. was amazing from start to finish. They were ready, professional, and polite. The guys took care of my stuff and were nice the whole time. Everything got to my new place in one piece and they put my furniture back together super fast. The move was even faster than I thought it would be. I used Fine Express for the 3rd time for a move in the Tri-State area. Everything was great! The movers were professional and treated our belongings with respect. Nothing was treated roughly and everything arrived at our new home in one piece. The foreman was great to work with and there were no hidden charges at the end of the move. I recommended Fine Express to my parents when they moved from NY to Florida and they were super pleased too. I highly recommend Fine Express to anyone looking to move. We are repeat customers and would never use a different moving company!

We had a great experience with Fine Express, it was our first time using their service and we will def recommend to our friends. This was a local move within the five town to our temp house while our new house is being renovated. We were so impressed with how professional and organized the movers were. We were also impressed by the Fine Express crew manners and their friendly, polite behavior and positive attitude. They arrived on time for the pack up and loading of the truck, everything was perfectly intact and packaged nicely with care. We were hesitant to undertake this move due to COVID19, however Fine Express made us feel comfortable about bringing a moving team into our home. All of the movers were wearing masks and gloves and kept social distance between us as much as possible. Would def use them again!
This moving company is the worst ever!
This moving company is the worst ever! They broke my furniture, lost boxes, and even lost pieces of my furniture. They dropped one of my dining room chairs and then used gorilla glue to glue it back together. On top of that, the same glue ate out a chunk of my Italian bed head and foot. They didn't even put my furniture back together like they said they would. They charged me over $20,000 to move from New York to VA. When I called the owner, Mr., all he cared about was that his guys were tired and had a long drive. He was very rude on the phone. They even broke my three big vases with flowers and the stand. They took my box of liquor and acted like they had amnesia when I asked for it. Apparently, they thought because I had a lot of stuff moving, I wouldn't miss anything. But I have a memory like a computer, so I remembered everything. We gave them tips for both picking up and delivery, over $700 on top of what we were charged. I hope everyone who intends to move does their research before choosing a company. Please do not use this company, they are no good. They talk fast to get you to choose them, but they are no good.

I had a terrible experience with Fine Express Inc. I had to change the date of my move and they charged me a cancellation fee of $300 plus "penalties" even though they called me only 18 hours prior to the loading time. They also increased the charges and wanted to charge me extra for an additional man. When I called them out on it, they hung up on me. They finally agreed to load the truck with 4 men and the remainder of the transport/unload with 3 men at $149/hr. However, they charged me for 4 hours even though the load only took 2.5 hours.
Once the truck arrived at the destination, they refused to unload it unless we paid for the hours they estimated it would take (2-3 hours even though the load only took 2.5 hours), a 12% surcharge on tolls/gas/mileage (estimate given at deposit/booking was at 7%), a ~$200 fee for "boxes" which apparently the movers decided to use "to expedite the load process to make less trips back & forth to the truck" by packing suitcases, standing fans, duffel bags, & other items that did not require a box. When I called the owner to complain, he threatened to put my belongings in storage until I paid.
In the end, I was quoted ~$2750 for 18 hours but ended up paying ~$3650 for 20 hours. To make matters worse, they cracked my wooden dresser and damaged the door frame during the unload. They also didn't put boxes where the label on the box said because it was late at night. I would not recommend Fine Express Inc. to anyone.
This company was terrible
This company was terrible. I hired them to move me from *** to MD for about $2500 plus gas and toll expenses. They were supposed to put all my furniture in each room and set it up, but they left all the furniture in the biggest two rooms and didn't take the heavy items upstairs. They also broke my glass sliding door and bookcase, and marked up the freshly painted walls. After the job was done, they charged me $5000 plus toll and gas, even though I had a signed contract for $2500. They said I had to pay for the further distance to *** location, which I wasn't told about. My mate paid the entire amount plus tipped each mover $200. The movers never mentioned breaking the glass sliding door and said my insurance would cover any damage. But when they left, I found out the bottom level door was totally destroyed and had to be replaced. I contacted the company about the broken glass door and bookcase, but they told me to contact their insurance company. I made numerous calls and sent several emails, but got no response. The claims representative finally responded today and only offered me $90 for the door repair and $45 for the bookcase, even though the door alone cost $420 to fix and the bookcase was from *** Furniture and cost $391. This company lied about the amount I was supposed to pay, added expenses that weren't initially on my contract, and refused to cover the damages they caused. I'm contacting legal services to take this to court for my money back plus legal fees. I'll update the ComplaintsBoard.com with the outcome of my court case. This email states the facts and truth as I know it. In God I trust. Wrongfully treated customer.

Don't use this company. They gave me a quote, but on moving day they charged me more than three times the amount. The movers were fighting and swearing at each other, and the boss was really mean. Terrible service. They broke a lot of my stuff and didn't give me the forms to claim the broken things. I'm going to sue them.

Every 5 minutes, they would take a 20-minute break to smoke and play Candy Crush on their phones. It took them 6 hours to pick up my belongings for the move and then 3 hours to reach the drop-off location. The travel time to my destination was maximum 1 hour and 30 minutes on the truck. They also worked slowly, smoked, and played games on their phones during the trip. When they presented me with a bill for $2414.23, I refused to pay because they had also broken a part of my house balcony. They then verbally abused me and threatened to take my belongings back to Jamaica. I had no choice but to pay them the full amount. When I called their office to complain, they didn't listen to me and hung up on me. They made me sign all the documents before they picked up my belongings, and I didn't know any better since it was my first time. I need help getting my money back. Thank you.

Fine Express Inc. moved my stuff from Bronx to Verplanck, NY. At first, I thought everything went well, except the employees smoking. I noticed one drinking from a paper bag, but didn't think much of it. After they left, I turned on my TV. The bottom left frame was cracked and the screen was damaged, which spread up the entire left side and the entire bottom of the TV. I went outside. I found a liquor bottle pushed behind a plant in my front yard, where the employee had been drinking. I also saw small belongings thrown into a planter: a cat brush, part of a ceramic figurine which I planned to fix, two wash cloths. These were all my items from the Bronx, which the employee threw there. I called the company. One employee was helpful, but never emailed me like he promised. I called two more times. The last time, I spoke with Eli, who basically said I could be lying and he didn't like that I said his employee was drinking. I still haven't received any information.

I moved from *** to CA and Fine Express Inc. picked up my stuff on Aug 9th and delivered on Aug 26th. I paid $6099 (not including tips). The truck was 8ft wide and 8ft high. My stuff was packed loosely with over 150 cubic foot of space on the top and sides. The final belt marking the end of my stuff ran from the 14 ft marker on the left side of the truck to the 11 ft marker on the right side of the truck. The average depth of my stuff was (11 + 14)/2 = *** ft. So, the volume of my stuff was 8ft x 8ft x ***ft - 150 = 650 cu ft. With $6 a cu ft and an additional 7% fuel surcharge for cash payment ($273), the total should be 650 x $6 + $273 = $4173. The person who picked up my stuff told me that I had 950 cu ft of stuff. I asked him to explain how he computed that. He said it was based on his estimate based on vertical rivet lines that he saw on the outside of the truck. I told him that the rivet lines were uneven and not at 1-foot separation and couldn't be related to the stuff inside the truck. He said that either I had to go by his estimation or he was going to throw my stuff out of the truck. He even threatened to leave with my stuff if I didn't sign it. Noticing that I started to take pictures, he immediately closed the shutter of the truck. The total he wrote down was 950 x $6 + 7% charge ($399) = $6099. I had no choice but to sign the paperwork. I called Fine Express Inc. and spoke to *** to explain the situation, but they said I had to go by whatever the person who picked up my stuff said. I tried to talk to the dispatcher after a couple of days, but he refused to hear me out. I realized that I had been scammed. I had been overcharged by $1904 and I am demanding an additional $1000 for the harassment that I, my family (including my 6-year-old) had to go through. I am asking for $2904 to be paid to me immediately.

But they kept giving me excuses for three months. I called the claims rep over 20 times and sent over 10 emails, but they said it was out of their hands. Finally, they contacted me and said they would only pay me $135. But the glass door cost me $420 to fix and my bookstand was $391. I sent them the bill for both items, which was $811, but they refused to pay me. They also charged me $2500 more than what was on the contract, even though they said it would cost me $2300. This company is not honest, and I will never use them again. I paid every penny they asked for and tipped each mover $200. I want to be paid in full for the broken glass door and my bookstand. I have pictures, receipts, and emails to prove it. Please help me find a solution. Thank you.
