FishingBooker Review: Manage Expectations & Clarify Questions for the Best Experience
Booking a fishing experience through FishingBooker was an easy and efficient process, however, the actual trip itself did not meet expectations. While the reviews may have painted a rosy picture, the reality was quite different. The trip started off on a sour note when the boat left the dock almost 20 minutes behind schedule. Once out on the water, it quickly became apparent that the boat was not up to par, as even leisurely pontoons were passing them by. To make matters worse, the captain was not the same person who had been praised in the glowing reviews.
The group spent hours trolling to catch fish, but to no avail. They did not explore other options or try a different technique despite the lack of success, which can be frustrating for any angler. When they finally caught something, it was a measly 9-inch tuna which couldn't even be properly reeled in. The bait was also minimal, with the captain using one ballyhoo slice in thin layers for five lines out for the rest of the day.
Towards the end of the trip, after hours of trolling, the captain finally decided to move closer to the beach, right off the inlet where they caught a decent-sized barracuda. The price for this experience was not cheap, and a 20% gratuity was not included, which left the angler feeling that for $975, they could have easily purchased bait and walked to the inlet themselves to have a better chance of fish.
In summary, FishingBooker may be an easy way to book a fishing trip based on reviews, but it's important to manage expectations and understand that not every experience can be perfect. It's possible that the reviews were the result of lucky trips or selective editing, so it's always a good idea to do some additional research before booking. Moreover, it's important to communicate openly with the captain to get the best experience possible, and to clarify any questions or expectations before the trip.
Warning: Terrible Experience with FishingBooker - Dishonest Practices and Waste of Money
Warning to all potential customers of FishingBooker! My experience with this company was extremely disappointing and I would not recommend them to anyone. Let me explain why:
Firstly, my family and I booked a fishing trip with FishingBooker and during the trip, my 15 year old son fell ill. The captain offered to cut the trip short and charge us only for the time used (which was 3 hours). We agreed and returned to the marina, but then the captain asked us to pay $200 for the first mate, despite us already planning to give him a tip. He then proceeded to call the owner and claimed that he could not charge us for the time used. This felt like a dishonest and fraudulent practice, and unfortunately, it was not the first time this had occurred.
Moreover, we paid a whopping $1300 for this fishing trip, which turned out to be a huge waste of money. The captain and first mate fished for two hours and caught absolutely nothing. It was highly suspicious how supposedly "everything" ate their bait. On top of that, the boat was dirty and extremely uncomfortable.
As if that wasn't bad enough, the boat owner refused to help me get my money back and claimed it was "my problem". I reached out to FishingBooker customer service, but they were of no help either, despite repeated requests.
In light of this experience, I urge anyone with ethics and morals to steer clear of FishingBooker and choose another charter service. There are plenty of other options available that won't leave you feeling ripped off and frustrated.
Unforgettable Birthday Gift: FishingTrip with Captain Dave Booked Through FishingBooker
During a recent trip to Florida, I wanted to surprise my husband with a special birthday gift. After some research, I stumbled upon FishingBooker, and was immediately drawn to their variety of fishing trips and experienced captains. I booked a fishing trip with Captain Dave, and eagerly awaited my husband's reaction.
Unfortunately, the weather had different plans for us and the trip had to be cancelled on the day of his birthday. However, Captain Dave went above and beyond by offering to reschedule two days later when the weather improved. This was especially important as we were on a time crunch due to our upcoming flight back home.
Despite the less than optimal conditions, we both caught impressive fish and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Captain Dave was not only informative and helpful, but also easy to get along with. His pontoon boat was a great selling point for us, as we weren't sure about ocean fishing and wanted to avoid sea sickness. Moreover, having the boat to ourselves was a bonus as it made the trip more special for my husband's birthday.
Overall, the trip was a great success and my husband was thoroughly pleased with his birthday present. We would definitely book this fishing trip again in the future and recommend FishingBooker to anyone looking for a memorable fishing experience.
Deceitful Charter Owner and Lack of Action from FishingBooker: Our Disappointing Experience
I recently booked a 5-hour fishing charter on FishingBooker for myself and a friend out of Cabo. The communication leading up to the trip was smooth and the fees for licenses and live bait were clearly listed on the website, which helped us prepare for the outing in advance.
However, things went awry once we arrived at the dock. We paid the owner of the charter the total amount due for the two of us, including the fees for licenses and live bait, and were escorted to the boat by another worker. While on the boat, the worker insisted that we still owed $15 for live bait even though we had already paid for it. When we called the owner, he claimed that we hadn't paid for live bait and that the $15 had gone towards a "dock fee" which was not listed on the confirmation email nor did we receive any live bait. This was deceitful, and we felt taken advantage of.
We refused to pay any more money and demanded a refund for our payment. The charter owner eventually returned our money, but we weren't able to go fishing. Unfortunately, the bad experience didn't end there. We received threatening messages from the fishing charter owner stating that we had stolen his licenses, which we never saw, and that he was going to come to our hotel to collect the money. This was deeply concerning and made us feel unsafe.
We contacted FishingBooker to report the incident and hoped they would take swift action to address it. While they eventually returned our deposit, it was a time-consuming process that required us to jump through several hoops. Moreover, FishingBooker didn't seem proactive about following up on our complaint; 10 days later, the same fishing charter was still listed on their website. We were disappointed that they didn't seem to care about preventing similar issues from happening to other customers.
Overall, while FishingBooker refunded our deposit and tried to help, we're not sure we'd be comfortable using their service again given the lack of follow-up and response to our complaint. It's also noteworthy that the website has a responsibility to vet the charters they list, and we hope they'll take this matter seriously in the future. FishingBooker's platform provides a great resource for anglers, but this experience showed us that we must remain cautious and vigilant when booking charters online.
FishingBooker Review: Last-Minute Cancellation Nightmare & Poor Customer Service
I recently decided to book a fishing trip using the website FishingBooker, and unfortunately, the experience left me extremely disappointed. I had originally booked the trip a full month in advance, which is in line with the company's policies. However, only five days before the scheduled date, the captain for the trip (GOOD TIMES SPORTS FISHING) canceled on us. While I do understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, I was disappointed to learn that the company had no replacements or alternatives in place that could support us in terms of pricing and trip length. To make matters worse, we had four people who had already booked hotels, and two of them were flying in from out of state for the trip.
I contacted Fishing Booker's customer service team with the hope of finding a solution, only to be told that they were sorry, but could only book us on a more expensive charter for less fishing time. I grudgingly took that offer, only to receive an email from the company 12 hours later stating that the charter was not available. Needless to say, this was completely unacceptable, and I was left scrambling to find another last-minute fishing charter to salvage our trip.
After looking around online, I discovered that my experience was not unique. Many other people had reported issues with bookings canceling last minute or having difficulty contacting customer service for support. While I had never used FishingBooker before, I gave them the benefit of the doubt; that was a mistake on my part, and I would never book with them again. If you are coming from out of town or want to ensure that your fishing trip goes according to plan, I would encourage you to think twice before booking with them.
In summary, while FishingBooker may seem like an attractive option on the surface, I would caution potential customers to keep their expectations low. There are many other reputable fishing charter booking services out there, and it is worth taking the time to explore your options to avoid the disappointment and stress that comes with last-minute cancellations or booking issues.
Mixed Experience: Great Fishing but Unpleasant Booking Process with FishingBooker
My recent fishing charter experience was overall great, but unfortunately booking the trip through FishingBooker was an unpleasant experience. From the outset, I encountered a number of issues that made the process more challenging than it should have been.
Despite initially reserving with one captain and paying the deposit, I received a message only an hour later notifying me that he was booked, and my reservation could not be fulfilled. Although I requested a refund, I was initially hesitant about booking with FishingBooker again, but eventually decided to try again with another captain who supposedly had available openings for the same day. However, regardless of me paying the deposit and waiting for several hours, I was later told that this captain was also unavailable on the chosen date, resulting in yet another setback.
Finally, after the third attempt, payment of another deposit, and some deliberation with the captain to ensure all was in order, everything seemed in place for the trip. However, the day of the trip, even after arriving at the dock 30 minutes early, my party and I were told that the captain had already set out for the day. Thanks to the helpfulness of another individual we encountered, we were eventually directed to another captain, managed to set off, and enjoyed a successful fishing adventure.
Despite my mixed experience with the booking process, I do not have any suggestions about how FishingBooker could improve their website other than having captains update their availability status through an app. Despite the miscommunication and unexpected delays encountered, we would have missed out on an excellent fishing trip if it wasn't for the platform's offerings.
FishingBooker and REEL COMPULSIVE FISHING CHARTERS: A Disappointing and Costly Experience
I recently had an unsatisfactory experience using FishingBooker to book a fishing charter with "REEL COMPULSIVE FISHING CHARTERS". The purpose of our trip was to catch red snapper, which we were all excited about. However, the first mate insisted we go back to a location where a sailfish had been caught the day before, despite our lack of interest in that species. I understood the captain's reasoning behind using a chicken rig to attract the fish, but we ended up filling our live well with baitfish rather than the targeted species.
To make matters worse, the first mate started chumming and attracting sharks, scaring away any other potential catches. We didn't have any luck finding the red snapper we were after and ended up wasting valuable fishing time anchoring at multiple green or baitfish-filled locations.
I grew increasingly disappointed as we continued to struggle with the same ineffective fishing techniques, resulting in nothing being reeled in. The captain's fishing spots were so overused that you could see the tracks from other boats on our fishfinder, further confirming our suspicions.
In the end, we left without reeling in a single red snapper, despite seeing other boats easily catching their limit. I felt that our charter was a complete ripoff, costing us $1300 for only four hours of unsuccessful fishing. Based on my experience, I would not recommend using FishingBooker to book a fishing charter or working with "REEL COMPULSIVE FISHING CHARTERS" unless you're happy with the idea of paying to anchor in locations filled with baitfish without catching your desired species.
Frustrating Experience with Fishingbooker.com - A Review
With the current pandemic situation, planning for special occasions have become challenging, just like our experience with my wife's 40th birthday celebration. Since throwing a party or traveling was out of the question, we decided to go on a private fishing charter. We reached out to friends who had boats, but to no avail. We then contacted a couple of charters we knew, but unfortunately, they were all fully booked. Luckily, someone recommended us to try using fishingbooker.com.
We managed to reserve a charter for an offshore fishing trip for six hours on August 1st. We paid a deposit and received several emails and text messages to confirm our reservation, which was reassuring. However, we couldn't contact the captain via the website messaging system to inquire about the things we needed to bring, which was frustrating. Eventually, we tried the button to call the captain directly, and to our dismay, he said he had no idea that we booked a trip with him, which was unexpected.
With the trip being canceled, we went back to fishingbooker.com on July 31st to look for another available charter on August 1st. We found one and booked it, but we had to pay another deposit. Since we learned our lesson the first time, we immediately contacted the captain directly to confirm the reservation. Fortunately, he got back to us a few hours later, but unfortunately, he had no idea how we were able to book a trip with his charter since he was already fully booked for the weekend.
In summary, we paid two deposits and got several confirmations via email and text, but we never had any successful fishing trips. We were left frustrated since we planned this as the highlight of the birthday weekend. It was disappointing to pay twice for nothing and to put in more effort to get our money refunded.
Overall, it was a frustrating experience, and we hope fishingbooker.com could improve its system to ensure that reservations made on their site are reliable and accurate to avoid any disappointment.
Review: Salty Hooker Fishing Charters - A Disappointing Experience
Fishingbooker.com is a user-friendly website that makes booking your next fishing excursion easy and convenient. However, it is important to note that not all charters are created equal. In this particular instance, the Salty Hooker Fishing Charters experience was a huge disappointment for these customers.
From the start, the lack of communication and preparation was evident. The boat was not properly maintained with old and rusted reels, broken seats, and no cushions. Safety instructions and life vests were not provided, leaving the customers feeling unsafe and unprepared. The addition of extra passengers on their already paid-for excursion was an inconvenience and added cost to their trip.
The lack of communication continued throughout the trip as the captain did not provide any updates on the current conditions or whereabouts. The fishing was unproductive, with the group only catching small fish that did not meet their expectations. The captain's negligence and lack of attention to detail was highlighted when he broke the anchor and almost caused harm to one of the passengers.
The trip ended with the group anchored in the inlet, far from their initial offshore destination, and receiving poor service from the captain. The lack of reimbursement or even an apology for the terrible experience was even more disappointing.
It is unfortunate that the customers did not receive the quality fishing experience they were promised and paid for. It is important for charters to be upfront about their capabilities and be prepared to offer alternative options if necessary. Customers deserve to have their expectations met and to feel safe and satisfied with their fishing trip.
Review of FishingBooker: Pros and Cons of Booking Through the Automated Charter Service
FishingBooker (fishingbooker.com) is an online fishing charter booking service that operates similar to an automated travel agency. They utilize an algorithm to promote fishing charters, advertising them to potential customers. In exchange for this service, FishingBooker charges a percentage of the trip fee from the charter, which they market as a "deposit" to the customer. However, this fee is not seen by the captain but is instead retained by the company.
To list their services on FishingBooker, captains have to agree to give up a percentage of their trip fee. The higher the percentage, the more likely they are to be listed higher on the site. Because of this, it is common to see listings from out-of-area captains who have agreed to give up a larger portion of their fee. Although these captains may offer a great service, potential customers should keep in mind that additional travel may be required.
Booking with FishingBooker takes place entirely through an artificial intelligence system - there is no human interaction. The captain receives a text alert and email informing them of the booking request, with a 24-hour deadline to respond. However, the system is flawed, and it is not uncommon for requests to go unanswered. Instant Book, an option that sends an on-the-spot booking request to the captain, is also not recommended as some captains do not update their calendar, leaving customers with no availability.
Messaging between the customer and captain is monitored, and filters often block messages with personal information or phone numbers. Additionally, captains are only allowed to be signed into the system from a single device at a time, making it difficult for them to access customers' trip requests when away from home.
FishingBooker's listings are also static, meaning captains have to contact the company to make updates, such as changes in departure times or cancellations. This system can be frustrating for customers who expect more immediate communication.
Overall, FishingBooker is a reliable promotional tool for captains, thanks to the amount of advertising money spent on their platform. However, customers are advised to do further research before booking through the site - a personal interaction with the captain can go a long way. The system is not without flaws, and issues with the AI, messaging filters, and lack of immediate updating capability can cause confusion. Customers are also advised to be aware that the deposit is in fact FishingBooker's fee, and not refundable by captains.

Complaint about Salmon catcher Bob
He asked us to do an etransfer to him of the whole amount before we depart and waited until he received it all in full, then started moving and weather wasn’t the best so he said if I go further and weather get worse it will be considered a trip and no refund . So we listened to his advice as an expert and returned back . We wanted to get our money back minus deposit since we we were not sure when we can go again specially weather forecast was showing same weather for the next weekend. He completely refused to give us the money back . So took 400 dollars and no service . Not too mention very small bait for 4 people
Desired outcome: Our money back minus deposit
Disheartened by Lack of Support: A Disappointing Experience with FishingBooker
I have been relying on FishingBooker for many years now to manage my fishing business. Unfortunately, this past year has been a tough one due to the COVID pandemic, which has impacted many small businesses like mine. As if that wasn't enough, I contracted COVID myself and even had a heart attack a month later. This forced me to cancel a few trips until I could get back on my feet. However, when I was finally ready to resume operations again, I received word that they had canceled me, citing my past health issues as the reason.
I was extremely disappointed and frustrated by the lack of empathy and understanding. It is difficult enough to run a business at this time, but to have to deal with insensitivity from a platform that I rely on is unacceptable. What adds insult to injury is that FishingBooker is run from India, which makes it more difficult to communicate and address issues.
I hope that others who run similar businesses will take their business elsewhere, to sites that have their backs through tough times. It is not enough to be only supportive of one's own interests, especially during a global crisis. This experience has left me feeling disheartened and disillusioned with FishingBooker, and I will not recommend it to others.
Less Than Ideal Experience: My Review of Booking Through FishingBooker
I recently booked a 1/2 day inshore pm fishing trip through FishingBooker and ended up having a less than ideal experience. I eagerly awaited verification of my booking, but after some time noticed that the charter I had selected had booked the same time as my requested time slot. Despite not receiving any confirmation, I still hoped that we were good to go and showed up at the designated location. Unfortunately, three hours passed without any response from the captain or FishingBooker, and I ultimately had to start calling their customer service line.
While I was certainly frustrated with the situation, I must admit that the representative I spoke with did their best to help me. They were unable to provide a solid answer at the time, but they suggested that I wait until our departure time to hear from the captain. This was hardly a comforting response, however, and I soon took it upon myself to look for a phone number to contact the captain directly. Unfortunately, I was unable to receive an answer when I called, so I left a message and continued waiting.
Eventually, FishingBooker got back to me and apologized for the delay in responding. They also informed me that the captain had previously declined my request but failed to notify me. At this point, it was too late to find another option to take my kids out on the water, so I was left feeling frustrated and disappointed.
While I can't say that I was overly impressed with FishingBooker's booking process in this instance, I do appreciate that the representative I spoke with was trying to help, and I'm glad that I was eventually notified about the decline of my request. Nonetheless, this experience has left me feeling hesitant about using their services again in the future.

Disappointing Experience with FishingBooker: Poor Customer Service, Unavailability of Boats, and Non-Refundable Deposits
I recently had a disappointing experience with FishingBooker.com, an online service that connects users with fishing charters around the world. Upon booking and paying a $100 non-refundable deposit for a boat and captain, I expected a prompt response from the website. However, I was left waiting for an entire 12 hours before hearing anything back, only to be informed that my booking had been cancelled because the boat and captain were suddenly unavailable.
What made matters worse was that FishingBooker.com didn't inform me of the cancellation until 1am - a mere 5 hours before the charter was scheduled to depart. While there were other boats available, the one I had my heart set on was completely off the table.
Perhaps the most frustrating aspect of dealing with FishingBooker.com was their insistence on holding onto my funds, despite the fact that I was no longer able to use their service. When I attempted to cancel and rebook with another charter, they kept my $100 deposit as a penalty.
In my attempts to reach out to FishingBooker.com's customer service team, I received nothing but copy/paste responses that failed to address the issues at hand. To make matters even worse, they tried blaming me for booking within 24 hours of my intended trip, as if I were at fault for their poor communication and mismanagement.
Overall, I'm incredibly disappointed in the poor service I received from FishingBooker.com, and would caution others from booking with them unless you're willing to deal with the same frustration and disappointment that I did.
FishingBooker Review: Unreliable and Inconsiderate – Avoid At All Costs!
Recently, my family and I had planned a much-awaited fishing vacation trip. We had made all the arrangements in advance by booking the trip on the FishingBooker website, provided the deposit, and got confirmation about the scheduled trip being locked in. However, to our disappointment, the day before we were to leave for the trip, we received an email from FishingBooker stating the cancellation of the fishing charter. To make matters worse, they did not provide any justification or alternative solution for our family, leaving us high and dry. This unforeseen circumstance disrupted our entire vacation plan, and left us searching for a new charter.
Upon reaching FishingBooker via email, to enquire about the cancellation, we did not receive any help, compensation or apology for the inconvenience caused. The worst part was that there was no phone number to reach out to with our grievances, and our email inquiries remained unanswered. It was a real disappointment and headache fighting to get back our deposit from a company that showed no regard or sympathy for the disruption caused to our family vacation.
In conclusion, FishingBooker proved to be a total scam, with no customer service or concern for the customers' interests. I would advise anyone looking to book a fishing charter to avoid this website and contact charter captains directly. It is safer and more cost-efficient to book through a trusted source; you will receive better customer service and a better quality of experience. The lack of accountability, unprofessionalism, and absence of customer care from FishingBooker was nothing short of infuriating. Therefore, I firmly suggest avoiding them entirely.
Mixed Experience with FishingBooker: Boat Issues, Unfriendly Crew, but Great Condition and Effortful Captain
Our experience with FishingBooker was somewhat mixed. While we had to reschedule our trip due to issues with the steering, we appreciated that the company was proactive in addressing the problem. However, our first morning of the trip got off to a rocky start when the crew seemed distant and uncommunicative, only uttering a few words to us throughout the trip.
On the second trip, however, we were pleased to find that the boat was in great condition, and the crew was much more friendly and engaging during the afternoon. While the boat itself may have been a bit outdated, we were more focused on the fishing experience and didn't mind the somewhat shabby appearance.
Unfortunately, the fishing gods weren't smiling down on us during our second excursion, and we didn't manage to catch anything over the course of five hours on the water. Still, we could tell that the captain had done everything in his power to help us hook some fish, and we appreciated his dedication and effort.
Overall, we wished that we could have gone on our original morning trip as planned, but we were at least glad to have been able to give it a try during the afternoon. The lack of catch ultimately wasn't anyone's fault—after all, it's called fishing, not catching—but it did affect the way our trip ended. Despite this hiccup, we were still grateful for the opportunity to experience FishingBooker and see what the company had to offer.
Disappointed with FishingBooker: Lack of communication and unclear booking procedures
When I booked a fishing trip for my son and I through FishingBooker, I was excited to experience a day of fishing with him. While the terms stated that the deposit would only be charged after the Captain confirmed, I was disappointed to find that my deposit had been charged to my credit card without any confirmation. Despite not hearing from the Captain, I decided to message them through the site to inquire about our booking.
To my disappointment, my booking was immediately cancelled, and I received an automated message stating that my deposit would be returned within seven days. This experience left me feeling suspicious that FishingBooker did not wait for the Captain to confirm before charging me, and didn't follow its clearly stated procedures.
Unfortunately, I found myself stuck without enough time to book another trip as we were too close to the trip date. My son and I also did not have the availability for another six weeks due to work and other trips, leaving us out of luck for the foreseeable future. This experience has led me to vow that I will never attempt to use the site again and instead book directly through charter services by calling them.
Overall, my experience with FishingBooker was very unsatisfactory, and I felt incredibly let down by their lack of communication and unclear booking procedures. In the future, I will definitely be seeking out more reliable and trustworthy sites to ensure that I don't have to go through a similar frustrating ordeal again.
Unsatisfactory Experience with FishingBooker: Poor Customer Service and Refusal to Honor Refund Policy
Recently, I had the opportunity to use the fishing booking company www.fishingbooker.com service for booking a fishing trip. I was quite excited about this and had high expectations. Unfortunately, the experience turned out to be quite negative, and I am unhappy with the outcome.
Since the booking was made, bad weather conditions had been a concern. The morning of the trip, the captain who was supposed to take us out on the boat called to inform us that the early morning booking had to be cancelled due to the weather. However, he offered to move the trip to later in the day when the conditions were expected to improve.
My group and I decided that the later time was not suitable for us and asked for a refund of our deposit as per the company’s policy. The policy clearly stated that cancellations caused by the captain's decision to change the booking would be refunded in full, including bad weather.
Unfortunately, the company refused to compensate us. Their decision left us feeling frustrated and unsatisfied with their customer service. The captain had already cancelled because of bad weather, which entitled us to a full refund as per their policy, but they insisted that it was not their problem.
I have contacted www.fishingbooker.com several times within the two weeks and received no help. I am disappointed that such a reputable company did not honor its policy and left me with no other option but to accept the loss of my deposit.
Overall, I would say that my experience with FishingBooker was less than satisfactory. I would hesitate to use their services again, and I would warn others to be cautious about booking with them.
FishingBooker Review: Disappointing Customer Service and Lack of Communication
My experience with FishingBooker was less than satisfactory, to say the least. I had booked a 6-hour trip out of Fernandina, Florida for myself and some friends, and everything seemed to be going smoothly until the day of our trip. That's when I received a text from the "Capt" informing me that his boat had broken down and he had to cancel our reservation. Although I understood that these things can happen, I immediately tried to contact the captain to ask if there was another boat available or if we could reschedule for another day.
To my dismay, the phone number provided was a non-working number, and I had no way of reaching the captain. I then attempted to contact FishingBooker, hoping they would be able to help me out, but I was met with the same frustration. No matter who I tried to reach out to, I couldn't seem to get a hold of anyone.
What's even more frustrating is that FishingBooker never tried to reach out to me to make other arrangements or even apologize for the inconvenience. It felt like they had completely abandoned us, leaving us high and dry with no other options. Needless to say, I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone and would advise others to stay far away from them.
In comparison, I've had previous experiences with other companies, such as Tomcat out of PCB FL, where they personally reached out to me to make things right when a trip had to be cancelled. It's little gestures like that which go a long way in the customer service experience. In my opinion, FishingBooker is nowhere near as customer-oriented as they should be and quite frankly, not worth the trouble. From my experience, the best way to book fishing trips is to find a captain and to contact them directly, leaving out the middleman entirely.
Review: Fishingbooker - Buyer Beware of Undercutting, Unlicensed Captains, and Lack of Transparency
Fishingbooker is a business that operates out of Belgrade, Serbia. While they may be good at their use of the internet and Google AdWords, potential buyers should be aware of some serious issues with this company.
One of the main criticisms this company faces is their practice of undercutting fishing guides and driving prices down to unsustainable levels. This has led to the failure of several small businesses, as they struggle to compete with Fishingbooker's deep pockets. Furthermore, the company holds onto deposits, which can be extremely frustrating for customers who were expecting their money back.
A particularly alarming issue is the use of unlicensed captains, which can lead to dangerous fishing trips. Coupled with captains who are unreliable and don't seem to care, it is clear that Fishingbooker has little regard for the safety and satisfaction of their customers. Because of these red flags, it is important to book directly with experienced captains who are licensed and who prioritize your wellbeing.
Perhaps most concerning of all is that Fishingbooker only allows select reviews on their site, meaning that potential customers are not getting the full picture of the company's track record. Additionally, Fishingbooker does not appear to be willing to put themselves out for review by the public or by Google.
Given all of this, it's not hard to see why many individuals have made the decision to never use Fishingbooker again for their fishing trips. It's worth considering the risk of choosing a company that has such a lack of concern for smaller businesses and the overall safety and satisfaction of their customers.
Bait-and-Switch Tactics Used by FishingBooker - Do Not Trust Them!
When planning our fishing trip, we were excited to find the website FishingBooker. The platform offers a wide variety of fishing tours and boats to choose from, with detailed descriptions and photos. We contacted the site to verify the boat we had chosen, a 45 foot vessel, and were promptly sent a photo of the boat along with its name. However, upon arrival, we were disappointed to find an old 33 foot boat waiting for us, despite paying 1000.00 USD for the larger vessel. The boat had only one good seat, and the rest of the seats were cushions laid on top of coolers.
We were shocked with the bait and switch tactics used by FishingBooker, and the significant price difference compared to other companies offering similar boats of the same size. When we wrote a review to alert other potential customers, FishingBooker was unhelpful and refused to take responsibility for their actions. To make matters worse, the captain responded to our review in a rude manner, blaming us for not catching anything during the trip.
As someone who has fished in Cabo many times, I understand that a fishing trip doesn't always guarantee a successful catch. However, this experience was a scam from start to finish, and we left feeling cheated out of our hard-earned money. We firmly believe that FishingBooker ripped us off with false advertising, and we will never book with them again. We advise potential customers to be cautious and thoroughly research their options before booking with this website.
