Fit Factory RIP OFF!!!!!

I received a "free" sample (having to pay shipping and handling) of the Acai Berry diet pills. I just saw a $29.95 charge on my debit card for a "Fit Factory." I contacted this company and they said I agreed to join this "mess, " which I did NOT! However they said it was on the sales page, etc. Now, keep in mind, this charge was just taken out of my account 2 days ago yet they wouldn't return my money.

Fit Factory and Acai Berry need to remember we are in a recession. And according to God's word, paraphrased, "WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND!"

I hope people check out the complaints about this company before purchasing!

Fit Factory AcaiPure &risk free& free trial

Beware of ordering online AcaiPure "risk-free" trial! Supposedly endorsed by Oprah. I signed up for 4.95 S & H, cancelled within 10 days, and was hit today with a 39.95 charge by Arcaipior and an inexplicable charge of 29.95 by Fit Factory. When I called to contest Fit Factory's charge, the rep was extremely rude and tried to intimidate me with a righteous script blaming me for not reading the fine print. I did eventually receive an apology and confirmation number for the refund. The Arcaipior customer rep was wily and even though he admitted that I called within the free trial period he tried to negotiate me to accept a $20 refund immediately because the process of getting a full refund was such a hassle. ( you need to return the bottle at your own expense plus deduct a 15% restocking fee and wait for 2+ weeks)
I was absolutely disgusted. Even if this pill works, I'll never ever buy a thing from this company because of such aggressive and unethical tactics.

I ordereded a CD from a store on Ebay named ohdarnitallsales. It was a hard to find item in the Blues and Jazz genre. Not only did the seller ship the item on the same day it was ordered, they gave me another free CD at no charge at all. The shipping was free anyway. It was a used but very clean cd (both of them). I told two friends (we aren't the richest people on the planet) and they too had their items shipped on the same day they bought it and received the nicest communication. These sellers are not power sellers, their items look cool and they take care of their customers. With all the negative comments about Ebay I'd just like to point out that this sellers is pretty darn nice. My aunt is a vintage jewelry buff (is that what you call it ladies?) and she said the quality of the pins she bought was really good and the stones truly were vintage like she saw from her Mother's stuff. It is really nice to buy something online, have it packed well and on top of that, be there within days. ohdarnitallsales is in the west and I on the east coast and got mt items in two days. So did my aunt and my wife's friends. You never hear about sellers like this. My school mate's sister's Mom called her on the phone about a special order and found out that she collected antique dolls so her Mom bought one for her daughter. You only hear about the power sellers who buy their items from someone else, which is ok if the customer gets what they want but it's like driving on an old country road and coming across a Mom and Pop store, with an old coke machine in front, where it is reasonable and just mellow to shop. The owner makes all of her things which include Christmas ornaments and I thought I'd just give a shout out to ohdarnitallsales. Of course they dont make the CD's but the service was the same. people like this deserve some good customers. ohdarnitallsales

Fit Factory Unauthorized charges

I've been scammed by a partnership of cowards that hide behind an internet screen and I'm pissed off too. It began on 11/29/08, while ordering gifts for the holiday. Somehow, I was distracted by Anna's Weight Loss Story (annansdietinblog.com/my-weighloss-story.html). Anna is an overweight lady like myself that used the colon cleansers to jump start her weight loss plan. She explained how she took both the Colon XR and the AcaiPure. I order both products from Anna's site. The products were supposed to be free; however, there was a shipping fee. I purchased the acai berry supplement (AcaiPure) and the colon cleanser supplement (ColonXR).
Also, unbeknowst to me was a membership fee of $29.95 for Fit Factory (fit-fac.com), which is another member of the scam directly related to AcaiPure. To date all three have stolen a total of $232.32 from my bank account. If this has happened to you, call your banks and cancelled the card(s) that were used to make these purchases immediately. You may be able to disputed the unauthorized charges with your bank.
I've called all the numbers that appear on my bank statement some are disconnect and others just ring. I went to fit-fac.com's website and the on-line operator only answers "fitness related concerns" . What a joke! Since, Oprah, ABC, CBS and WSJ.com appear on Colon XR website. I thought that the site was legit. Maybe, Harpo (Oprah) and the news stations need to be aware that these scammers are using their names to sell products. If you are mad enough and have the time, please send them a complaint too. It may help.
Below I've provide some info that I have on the companies:
AcaiPure www.acai-pure.com [protected] AZ $39.95
(never received free trial, unauthorized charge)

Fit Factory www.fit-fac.com [protected] NV $29.95
(unauthorized membership, relates to AcaiPure)

Colon XR (Cleanse [protected] FL $5.95 (the only authorized purchase); EasybodyDetoxonl [protected] (phone just rings)KN $81.21 and CleanseBodyStore [protected] (phone disconnected)KN $81.21 (both charges unauthorized) totalling $162.42. Note: Colon XR stole money from my account using three individual names.

Good Luck!

I am battling with the same problem. Acai refunded me as a curteous refund. And cancelled both the fit factory and cost smasher, so I hopefully wont see anymore charges. I had my card cancelled so they can't charge me anything anymore. However the stupid colon cleanse place is not so nice. I have talked with 3 people and they all say its a no refund policy. I have been trying to talk to their supervisor to settle this the easy way and just be refunded, but each person I talk to they say call back in 3 hours, 30 minutes or 2 hours. Lame. So frusterating. So I will have to dispute those charges.

I can't really add anything except to say I'm in the middle of fighting the exact same thing right now. My product came with the number [protected] to call if I have questions. They said that they couldn't bill my account so there was nothing to worry about. Yeah right. My credit card was billed but by [protected] which apparently can charge my credit card just fine. They funny thing, well, not funny but, is that both places claim to be unique but they both know all about my 6 digit Order number. Is it possible that I happened to order the same product from two places that don't know anything about they other but they both gave me the same 6 digit order number? Not likely.

It's still ongoing. They told me to fax in a request that my account be reviewed at [protected]. Of course the first number continues to say they are unable to bill me but they know all about my FAX which was sent under direction from the second number.

As long as they can continually hide behind different phone numbers and different company names they can continue to bill me without me ever being able to know I have things cancelled.

Sounds like I should expect to get more product in the mail and that the nightmare of returning them is rapidly approaching me.

They are terrable people
Fit Factory, Fit-Fac.com selling Acaipure and the Colon Cleanse MD, Diet Offer Store, Supplemen Nevada Free Trial Ad on Fox News about the Oprah diet, Health Page SCAM. Two Products from Florida but billed from Nevada & Utah.
Today 1/20/09 - I called Fit factory [protected] which was a bad #, but my Credit Card Co gave me [protected] and they gave me Acaipure, Ph # [protected] which is Dynamic Health Products Inc. 12399 Belcher Rd. South, Suite 140 Largo Fl 33773. They stated that they are not associated with Fit Factory anymore. If I send them the sample back I received I will not be charged for the item. The free sample was not free but only a trial time to try it. The Rep at least sounded nice on the phone, but we will see. She said she would also refund my shipping charge. I thought I was getting free samples to try as everyone else was led to believe by the ads. Acaipure charged me $4.95 shipping on 12/24 and Fit factory charged me $29.95 & $1.17 Total $31.12 on 1/15/09. It would be nice to know if the Acaipure product was ok. I’ve bought Herbs on line like through Amazon before that was hard to get locally, but to be safe I am sending the Acaipure back. It is too bad they got hooked up with Fit Factory – if they are Legit.
Colon Cleanse Md product trial sample with only a couple of pills in it arrived the end of the 1st week in January and a full bottle arrived a week later. I was charged $3.95 by Diet Offer Store on 12/24/08 – [protected] UT and I was charged $89.31 from Supplemen Las Vegas Nevada on 1/7/[protected]. I talked to Anne P @ the Supplemen # [protected] about the Colon Cleanse, I asked her to remove me from any auto billing, I did not agree to this and I also asked her to give me a address to return the unauthorized item. She gave me as a address: Fulfillment Center 4650 SW 51st St, Suite 711 Davie Fl 33314 which just happens to be Colon Cleanse MD’s address too. But they have in the out of state listed ph # [protected]‎. Note a reverse Phone # Look-up shows that the ph # is to Creative Edge Marketing. PO Box 1159 Sandy, Ut 84091. Intelus lists this Ph # as Midvale Ut. Area.
I have put the January charges on dispute as they were not authorized. Even though I misunderstood or was misled about a receiving a trial sample, which was to all of them a trial period I did not dispute the shipping charges even though I should. I hope this additional info helps someone else.

Fit Factory bogus charges

Total scam! Order FREE TRIAL of a supposed Acai berry product endorsed by Oprah (also not true) and end up getting into their "subscription program" which auto charges you $29.95/month. Only after a lot of pressure in an online chat did I get 2 months of the 3 I was charged reimbursed and a promise that I will not be charged again. Hope that is true...

Fit Factory Charged for product I never signed up for

Chraged theough a company named REGNETORD.COM initially I read through & ordered the colon cleanser through this " BROMALITE" company & UN-checked the box for the Acai Berry stuff & any other offers. I only was going to try the 14 day trial period all I had to pay was 4.95 for S&H, yet I was charged for 5.26 & 37.13 ( for the berry stuff) YET when I spoke w/ Bromalite I had the very unpleasant conversation w/ a jerk of a CS agent, who tried to tell me that I didn't read the page & if I did I wouldn't have been charged...he said "you get charged after ur 14 day trail period, when I had told him AGIN that I had just placed this order yesterday! he did cancel it for me but when he gave me a cancellation number I had called the other CS number on their web site to let them know that this guy was an [censored] & turnes out he gave me also a bogus cancellation number. & yet they also are only refunding me the 34.95 for the acai berry stuff, & has no explaination on WHY I was charged 37.13...it's still a mystery! I had to ALSO call Fit factory & cancel, the lady was loud and rude, & wouldn't shut up long enough so I could explain anything, she did cancel it for me buit if I receive charges on my bank in Febuary I will be pissed!
forget all this BS about colon cleansers, if you're going to buy something, go to a store & have "hands on" no more of this ordering online or via tv BS, unless u see something with no strings attached.

SO NOW 4 diferent companies ( fit factory, renetord.com, power-T & bromalite) have my banking information, when I THOUGHT I was only ordering from 1.
No wonder why our identity gets stolen, or personal information gets tossed around like the flu virus!
Good luck to all I hope this helps someone else.

Fit Factory unauthorized charges to my card

So I order Acai Berry for free...just pay shipping of 3.95. About 1 week later, I am charged 89.31. Yes I am irate, and call the bank, they tell me when I receive the product to send it back with a tracking number. It's been 15 days. Today I checked my statement online, they hadn't sent my money back. In fact, another company fit factory, has charged me another 60.00. Yes both companies got an earful...but I have yet to get a penny back. I will take this up with my bank, who told me what to do...This really sucks. As if anyone has money to burn right now.

an unathorized charge of $29.95 came out of my checking acct. The company name was Fit Factory. I don't know what the product is. I called the phone number associated with the company, [protected], and got a recording saying the call could not be answered at this time to speak to an associate (or words to that affect) press 0. I did. another recording saying the person wasn't available to enter an extention please enter it now followed by the pound sign. (again or words to that affect), but there was no extensions that were valid. I called my bank, who asked if i was online at that moment, when i told them yes they asked me to google the company name. When I did i found this complaint site. On this site I noticed another company I had trouble with, IPHEALTHIERME, a company who advertises a 14 day free trial of ACAIBerry, which I did order, paying for shipping and handleing only, however did not receive it for almost 10 days. I saw a charge on my acct for $89.95 for this company and called that number,
[protected], spoke to someone I couldn't understand, and explained to them that i had the product less than a week and asked why I was being charged $89.95 for a free trial, it hadn't even been 14 days, the charge came out 12 days after the product was shipped. He told me I accepted the terms on-line. I told him thats not the agreement. The product advertisement said free trial for 14 days pay only shipping and handling, again he told me I agreed to the online terms. I told him I hadn't opened the bottle, that i was taking a picture of it and the envelope and notifying the Attorney General for fraud, false advertising and extorsion. I told him I didn't want anymore from their company and to reverse the charges. He kept repeating the same thing. I ended up hanging up on him and tried to call back. This time it was "Sorry we are experiencing high caller volume, the best time to reach us is 6pm mountain standard time. if you wish to speak to a representative please stay on the line and your call will answered in the order it was received." I then waited for an hour and a half (that time), an hour another time and 45 min. another time. These two companies are connected. Online, when I ordered the acaiberry another advertisement popped up for a bowel cleansing product, which I clicked on "skip". Yet here I am. Oh, I also received another shipment of the acaiberry and received an "international currency fee" charge for $2.89 or 87 cents. Imagine that.

Today, the same thing happened to me, except I ordered
"AcaiPower", thru CNN (Central Coast Nutraceuticals, Inc.). And, I DID read the Acai web pages VERY carefully.

The site lead me to believe that if I wanted the additional supplements offer, I had to 'click' the 'offer' box. I did not want it, so I didn't click it!

I only found out about this "Fit Factory" charge when my credit card company called me about my credit card being possibly compromised. We reviewed all my charges, but I had no clue what the "www.fit-fac.com" charge for $29.99 x 2 was.

The credit card company gave the tel.# of Fit Factory: [protected]). Called and spoke to a very nice Jane, and her supervisor Holly, who took care of the charges and cancelled my account/ membership, with a confirmation # in about 10-15 minutes.

But, if it hadn't been for the diligence of my credit card company, I wouldn't have know about this non-authorized use of my credit card. And, I also changed my CC#.

My advice, DON'T order on line!
If you want to try or buy something, call their 1-800#, so you can verbally decline the 'additional offers'!

But, if you weaken and order on-line, I've found CNN and Fit-Factory customer service to quite OK.

Fit Factory Fraudulent Charge

I discovered an unauthorized charge on my bank account for $29.95 on January 7. I called fitfactory.com and told them I didn't order anything. The woman told me it happened on 12.22.08, but I didn't order anything from their site. She said she would issue a refund to my account and gave me a reference number. I then google'd the site and saw all the complaints on this site.
The only thing I ordered online the end of December was from a website called gotbody.com I'm not saying that they're responsible, but I'm wondering if there's some sort of connection.

Anyway, I contancted my bank and filed a fraud report. Of course that meant issuing a new credit card...and all those hassles.

They charged my credit card 19.95 without authorization. I am positive I never signed up for anything. When I called, the woman who answered the phone would not take NO for an answer. Finally I got her to cancel my so-called "subscription" and then give me a confirmation number. She did not however refund my account.

After making an online purchase from GotBody.com, my credit card received a charge of $29.95 from FitnessHub. This is a scam allowed by GotBody.com, do not purchase from that website. (Fitness Hub also known as Fitness Factory, Fit-Fac, Fit Factory, similar dba).

I have made many previous purchases from GotBody.com with no problems, then they claim that on my last purchase I agreed to a 14 day free trial membership to Fitnesshub, and if not cancelled they begin charging my card $29.95 per month. The email confirmation from Gotbody.com does not list a membership to a different company. Going through the Gotbody.com purchase system, there is never an agreement presented to the customer, and their customer service people cannot produce the agreement. I called the fitnesshub [protected] number and a processing agent in the Philippines immediately agreed to refund my card, leaving the charge on my account for no more than 30 days. Her manager Mona Alera in the US gave me the Fit Factory address of 305 W Broadway #114, New York, NY 10013, and said they are not responsible for the interest charges resulting from their charge.

I called my credit card company, they said this charge will have a dispute filed against it and I will not be liable for the interest charges, and the Visa representative said they do get many disputes against Fitness Hub and Fitness Factory.

Do not purchase from GotBody.com, they are one of the companies giving the credit card information to Fitness Hub and Fitness Factory.

DON'T BUY FROM GOTBODY.COM

I entered this complaint the morning of Sept. 10, 2009. The folks at GotBody and FitnessHub are keenly aware of their deceptive business practices, and they posted their comment to my complaint within two hours after I entered it at ComplaintsBoard.com.

Here is email correspondence from GotBody.com

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Dear Brittney (GotBody.com Customer Service),

There may be an already checked opt-out formatted signup on the last page, but this is after providing my credit card information for the agreed upon transaction. The signup is not part of the original transaction and you are not authorized to bill my card. I expect compensation for the interest accruing from my credit card company due to your unauthorized charge.

Your email states that GotBody.com is working on discontinuing your relationship with FitnessHub; however, complaints listed on ComplaintsBoard.com show GotBody has been aware of the problems since January, 2009, and possibly earlier. As of September 10, 2009, GotBody.com and FitnessHub are stilll in partnership and it does not appear that you are trying to end your deceitful practices.

Sincerely,

K

Hello K,

I completely understand your concern. The corporation that owns GotBody.com
has decided to implement the Fit Club program on our website in order to
remain competitive. There is a program sign-up on the last page of checkout,
and it is an opt-out formatted sign-up. I apologize for any inconvenience
you may have experienced from missing it. I have no problem cancelling your
trial membership if it has not already been cancelled.

If you decide to order from us in the future, the option to sign up for this
program will not show up as long as you sign in with the same email address.
Our system is set up so that once you accept the offer you do not see it
again. Additionally, our management team is working on discontinuing this

apologize for the hassle. Please let me know if there is anything else I can
help you with. Thank you. Have a wonderful day.

Same thing happened to me... I called the company and got my credit card refunded within 3 days and membership cancelled.

Here is the best way to handle the call to avoid them telling you that there is nothing they can do:
1. tell them the call is being recorded
2. tell them that you plan on contacting the Better Business Bureau and Attorney General's office if not issued a refund along with cancelling the memebship.
3. ask for a confirmation # and aslo an email confirmation.

They will 1st try to tell you that there is nothing that they can do about the initial 29.95 charge since you did not cancel within the 1st 21 days. They will also point out that this was disclosed when you clicked "rush my order" or "submit" for your "Free Sample"... Simply tell them "that is poor business practice - please credit my account for the 29.95 and cancel the membership - thanks you!"

Remember - there is no such thing as a "Free Sample" except for a slice of cheese from the deli at your local grocery store!

Good Luck! ~ Mike (Milford, CT)

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Our system is set up so that once you accept the offer you do not see it
again. Additionally, our management team is working on discontinuing this
affiliate program from our website. We do appreciate your business, and I
apologize for the hassle. Please let me know if there is anything else I can
help you with. Thank you. Have a wonderful day.

Yours in Health,

I am a frequent customer of GotBody.com and recently received a bogus credit
card charge from Fitness Hub (or Fitness Factory, Fit-Fac, Fit Factory, similar dba) after ordering from your
site. There is no agreement to pay Fitness Hub or Fitness Factory during
your order checkout procedure, and it is obvious your company intentionally
submitted this unauthorized charge to my card. I will no longer purchase
from GotBody.com.

Fit Factory Charges on my account for unordered product

I placed an order with Central Coast Nutraceuticals for a diet product on a free trial. Included with the order I was charged for 2 products from Fit Factory. After the initial order, I am being charged for products I did not order and have not received. I have tried to call their customer service number and email contact. They do not answer their phone number, and the email contact representative keeps sending me back to the phone number. How do I get out of this?

i was also taken in by the " free" offer of nutrional supplements. i did recieve what i'd ordered, but last night, some 3 weeks after the fact, was checking my account balance and found 3 unauthorized withdrawals. 2 for 29.95 by this Fit Factory place and the 3rd from something called Pricelimbo.com, for another 8.95. i spent an hour on the phone with my bank's fraud dept and canceled my debit card. they assured me i'd be credited back the charges and said my account was fine since these crooks only had my debit card number, not my actual checking acct number. phew! but i'm still mad as hell. how is this legal?

I checked my account and saw there was money collected in the amount of 29.95 to Fit Factory... I had never even heard of this company... I also ordered the acai berry which was free. All i had to pay was 3.95 for shipping and handling... I still have not received it... it's only 30.00 but I'm a single mom and every penny counts... I'm so upset... and i don't know what to do about this... not to mention that the phone number provided is an invalid number...

Folks,

Wonder how an unauthorized charge from FitFactory posted to your credit card account? A little snooping led to our finding that GotBody.com (fitness supplements, etc.) has a small pre-checked box for a "Free FitFactory Trial Product" that, if not "unchecked", provides FitFactory with both your credit card number and AUTHORIZATION to bill your credit card. A deceptive practice, to say the least.

My advice is to stay away from GotBody.com and FitFactory.com, as they obviously have little regard for the consumer.

If anyone reading this is an associate of GotBody, you will be pleased to know we were very satisfied with their customer service, until this borderline fraud caught us by surprise. As a final note, Andrew (who is THE BOSS) made the terrible business decision regarding the "checked box". So long, GotBody, hello GNC.

I too have unauthorized credit card charges from Fit Factory for an Acai Berry order. I called and let them know I was not interested in the product and I was already charged the 29.95. I was told that the 14 day cancellation period started the day I ordered the product not the day I received the product, which was after the 14 days were expired. So they said they still had the product in the warehouse and would credit me, however I never recieved the credit and today I was charged again!

Some one has to do something about this company! I ordered my risk free trail for just shipping and never received any thing until I e-mailed them to complain! I got it and along with it a charge for 49.95 for a bunch of crap I never ordered ! I could never get n touch with any one on the phone! I e-mailed them and told them to cancel what ever scam they had going and not to charge me again! They just put a charge through on my account for 29.95! I am so angry! I am going to the bank tom., I am disputing the charges and if necessary I will cancel that debit card. It's a huge pain! what's really bad is that I didn't hate the product! I would have prob. ordered it again if they hadn't been so dishonest. I really hope some one shuts them down! I will be consulting my Lawyer!

My bank account has been charged $29.95 for a program I never enrolled in. I too ordered the free trial for $3.95 shipping and handling, and went directly to the web site and cancelled my "membership" on the same day. It has not been 14 days since I placed my order, and I have not received the product. What a rip off!

Fit Factory unauthorized charges

The company charged me $29.95 for a membership that I never joined. I had never even heard of the company before. I had ordered a trial size of the acai berry product from a different- which was also a HUGE scam and the next thing I know I was being charged $78 from the first company and the $29.95 from the Fit Fac company. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau on the first and am still waiting for a reply. I contacted the Fit Fac company with the number [protected] and supposedly am going to get a refund and they canceled my account. We will see.

Fit Factory Never ordered a product, but charged anyway

I never ordered any product from them (Fit Factory) or their sister company. It appears that they stole my credit card number and charged $19.95.

I know that if they do this 100 times, there will be some people that do not look at their credit card statements in detail and will miss this charge. So out of 100 times there will be 20 people that do not check for fraud, thus they get 20 people at $19.95 or $29.95 they will make lots of money.

Thank you for reading my complaint, best of luck. Sincerely Steve Cook from

I don't know what to do about this! My business is FitFactory. Not the one thats scamming everyone. We are a personal training business out of Tennesse. Our website is www.fitfactorysevierville.com. We have no affiliation with fitfactory.com.

The real problem is that WE are the only fit factory people can get ahold of! Its a real mess. I don't have a clue how to get fitfactory.com on the phone. They are like a ghost or something. I have plans on suing the pants off of whoever is responsible. It has not only become a major hassle daily with tons of calls regarding this scam. It has really effected my business online. I have thought about changing the name of my business but it would cost me tons in advertising costs.

Anyone know who/where I can go to track down these criminals?! I even had a call from a grandmother who's grandaughter of 5 had her wal-mart gift card withdrawn from at christmas! This MUST stop! Gene

Fit Factory charges on credit card

I also ordered the free trial for $3.95, which by the way, they immediately charged me. 10 days later and no product, but a new charge for $29.95 to Fit-Factory which I saw on the Terms and Conditions but was not supposed to charge unless you did not cancel the AciBerry. This was on the 10th day of the 14 day free trial.

I called them and they supposedly cancelled everything and i did see the refund for $29.95 in three days. Now on 12/9/2008, a new charge on my card for $8.51 for pricelimbo.com which I never heard of. I called again this morning, same people answer the phone, customer service, no name of company. I found out this is another thing you are automatically signed up for when you order Aci Berry trial.
They said they are cancelling everything in my name associated with Aciberry, and will issue a refund in 3 to 5 days. We will see if this is true.

These people are defrauding people and I told them I was going to report them to the NCL National Fraud Complaint Center.

Nancy

I leave in the UK and was just charged £13.66 and I have never even visted this website and never purchased anything from this company. I did, however, request a "free" sample of the Acai berry supplement and authorized the shipping charges. No where in the disclaimer did it mention an additional charge of £13.66 for this "free" offer. I would like this charge refunded to my bank account immediate and I have followed this up with my bank and have registered this charge as a fraudulent charge.

After making an online purchase from GotBody.com, my credit card received a charge of $29.95 from FitnessHub. This is a scam allowed by GotBody.com, do not purchase from that website.
