Disappointing Customer Service and Outdated App for Fortress Security System
I bought this upgraded system back in 2017 'cause the 2g thing wasn't an option no more. The system I got had 3g and wifi stuff, ya know? But now, they went and phased out the 3g, so I was countin' on my system's wifi features to send me them push notifications when the system gets triggered. But guess what? The dang app don't do that no more! Ain't that a bummer? So, I called up Fortress and talked to this lady in customer service. And lemme tell ya, she couldn't help me at all! She said they don't support my alarm system no more and I gotta buy a new one. Can ya believe it? And get this, while we were talkin', her kid was screamin' in the background. Talk about unprofessional, right? I'm real disappointed with this company, man. I expected to get more use outta my alarm equipment, ya know? The truth is, they buy these systems from China and they ain't got the smarts to keep their apps up to date. Don't just take my word for it, go check out the reviews for Fortress Security System apps in the app store. You'll see what I mean, dude.
Fortress Security Store: Fast, Easy Installation & Reliable Performance - A Solid Choice for Home Security, Eh?
I'm up here in Canada, eh, and let me tell ya, this Fortress Security Store is somethin' else, eh? I ordered it and it came flyin' in like a hockey puck on ice, eh? Seriously, it took less than a week to get to my igloo, and that's pretty darn fast, eh?
Now, let me tell ya, installin' this thing was a piece of cake, eh? I had it up and runnin' in no time, and it's been workin' like a charm for about a week now, eh? I was a bit worried 'cause my shop has these fancy Galvanized Tin walls, ya know? I thought maybe the sensors wouldn't be able to send signals through those walls and the tin, but guess what? They work just fine, eh? I'm seriously impressed.
The app that comes with this Fortress Security Store is as simple as shootin' a puck into an empty net, eh? It's so easy to use, and it makes changin' sensor settings a breeze, eh? I mean, you can basically do anythin' ya want with it, eh? But here's the thing, eh? I got one little question/request, ya know? Maybe I'm just blind as a bat, but I can't seem to find a page on the app or the main Titan unit that shows me the status of all my sensors, eh? Like, if the Titan says one of my doors is open, I wanna know exactly which doors are open and which ones are closed, eh? I also wanna know which sensors are communicatin' and which ones ain't, ya know? It's not really a complaint, just somethin' I'm curious about, eh?
Overall, though, this Fortress Security Store is the real deal, eh? It's fast, easy to install, and works like a charm. The app is a breeze to use, even if it's missin' a couple features I'd like to see. But hey, nothin's perfect, right? So if you're lookin' for a solid security system, give this one a shot, eh? You won't be disappointed, I promise ya.
Disappointing Experience with Memorial Day Sale and Product Listings
So, we were trying to upgrade our old SO-2 system to the new S6Titan from Fortress Security Store. We went to their website and clicked on the "ALL PRODUCTS" and "ACCESSORIES" tabs to find the S6Titan 3g/4g WiFi Security System. But, to our surprise, the individual blue RFID tags were not listed there. We have four kids and we wanted each of them to have their own tag. We eventually found the tags listed under a different product. We assumed they were the same, so we ordered them.
We were enticed to place this order because of the Memorial Day 15% Sale. The sale claimed that we could "Save an Extra 15% on All Home Security Products." We even saw another ad on their website that said, "Get 15% Discount on Entire Store during our Memorial Day Sale!" So, we thought we would be getting a good deal. However, when we applied the discount code to our $329 order, we only saved $4.50. That's a far cry from 15%! It seems like "all" didn't really mean "all." To make matters worse, three out of the eight products we ordered already had a discounted price applied to them, so they weren't eligible for the discount code. We're not sure why only $4.50 was saved, because even if we applied the 15% discount to the remaining five products, it should have been more than that.
Overall, we're a bit disappointed with our experience. We were hoping to upgrade our security system smoothly and take advantage of the Memorial Day sale, but it didn't quite work out as expected. The website could have been clearer about which products were eligible for the discount, and it would have been helpful if the individual blue RFID tags were listed under the S6Titan system. We hope that Fortress Security Store can improve these aspects of their website and promotions in the future.
Mixed Experience with Fortress Security Store: User-Friendly System, Helpful Customer Service, but Some Issues
Overall, my experience with Fortress Security Store was pretty good. There were a few downsides though. Firstly, my system and sensors weren't set up and numbered according to the manual. It was a bit confusing, to be honest. Secondly, my display kept showing the numbers "8" or "88" without any explanation in the manual. It left me scratching my head.
Another issue was that there were no instructions on the best location or height to hang the motion sensors. It would have been helpful to have some guidance on that.
On the bright side, the system was user-friendly, which allowed me to program my own sensors without much trouble. That was a relief. When I called customer service to address the display issue, they were pretty quick to identify the problem - a faulty power source cord. They immediately sent me a new one, which was great. They were also helpful in answering all my questions about the system and how to hang the motion sensors, especially considering I have cats.
One feature that I really liked was the chime option. It lets you know which zone is activated verbally from the main panel. It's quite handy. Additionally, I appreciate the fact that you can control each sensor independently. You can set different delay times, choose instant alarm activation, or even disable certain sensors. It gives you more control over your security system.
Lastly, the price was good. I managed to snag a 20% discount on my kit, which was a nice bonus.
However, recently I've encountered a new problem. Every night around the same time, the system suddenly chirps from the main panel, waking me up. It's quite annoying. I'll be giving customer service another call to see if they can help me resolve this issue. We'll see how it goes.
Review: Frustrating Customer Service, but Great Product
I had a bit of trouble with the "Live Support" feature on the Fortress Security Store website, so I ended up using email instead. The response to my email was pretty slow, and I didn't really get direct answers to my specific questions. It was a bit frustrating, to be honest.
When I tried calling their support and sales phone numbers, all I got were recorded messages. I couldn't actually talk to a real person, which was a bummer. But hey, I eventually went ahead and placed an order anyway. Let's see how it goes.
Update: 11/12/2016
Man, placing an order on their website was a real pain. I tried to order something, but there was no clear indication that my order had actually gone through. And according to the info on the website, it seemed like I had to register before I could place an order. So, I went ahead and registered, and then placed a modified order. Finally, I got a confirmation for that order. But here's the kicker - I ended up getting charged for two systems instead of just one. I only wanted one, you know? So, I called up Fortress and explained the situation. They agreed that I could return one of the systems, which I did. They received it 13 days ago, but I'm still waiting for my refund. It's taking forever, man.
But hey, on the bright side, I managed to install and program the system myself, and it's working like a charm. I'm actually really happy with it. So, despite all the hiccups with the ordering process and the slow refund, the system itself is pretty awesome.
Disappointing Experience with Fortress Security Store: Inactive Sim Chip and Extra Charges
So, let me tell you about my experience with Fortress Security Store. It all started about a year ago when they switched to 3G. I decided to upgrade my system at that time. Now, let me tell you, it was no walk in the park to get everything up and running. It took me a good four months or so to finally get the right sim chip and get the system talking to me.
But guess what? Just a few months later, the system stopped notifying me of any activity. Can you believe it? No sim notices whatsoever. I reached out to Fortress multiple times to figure out what was going on. And you know what they told me? They said that the sim chip had been deactivated. Now, mind you, I always paid my bill through good ol' Pay Pal. So why on earth was my chip not active? The person on the other end of the phone couldn't give me a straight answer. They even tried to activate it twice, but no luck.
Finally, after all that back and forth, they sent me a new chip. But here's the kicker - I had to activate it myself, and it cost me an extra $24. Can you believe that? And to top it all off, I'm still being charged $7.99 on my old chip that was deactivated months ago. Like, seriously? What's up with that?
So here's the deal, Fortress Security Store. I want a refund for all those months that I paid when the chip was inactive. And I want my $24 back for activating the new chip. This is just absolute confusion, and it needs to be sorted out. I'm waiting for your response, and I expect you to send this message straight to your CEO. It's time to make things right.
Disappointing Experience with Fortress GSM Alarm System: Lack of Info, Delivery Issues, and Limited Range
So, I gotta tell ya, I bought this Fortress GSM Alarm System (DIY) a few weeks back from the Fortress Security Store website. Let me just say, there ain't much info about the products on that site. I mean, seriously, the info they give you is either too basic or outdated. It had me all confused, man. Like, I couldn't even figure out which siren was meant for inside and which one was for outside. And don't even get me started on the manual, bro. That thing is a hot mess. It says there are videos on the website to help you out, but guess what? All those videos are for models that ain't even being sold no more. How's that supposed to be helpful, huh?
And let's talk about the delivery, man. I paid extra for expedited shipping, expecting to get my stuff in 1-2 business days. But you know what happened? It took a whole 5 business days! Can you believe that? I wasted my hard-earned money on that so-called "expedited" shipping. And to top it all off, when I finally got my hands on the kit, all the parts looked brand new except for the main panel. That thing was all scratched up, bro. No protective sticker on it or nothin'. It looked like someone had used it before. Not cool, man.
Now, let's talk about these motion detectors. They only detect movement if it's, like, right up close and personal. I mean, come on! I thought these things were supposed to be top-notch, but they can't even pick up movement unless it's practically right in front of their faces. It's a real bummer, dude.
And don't even get me started on the lack of information provided. I'm still trying to figure out some of the settings on my own because they just didn't give me enough info. It's frustrating, man. I thought buying this alarm system would give me some peace of mind, but instead, it's just causing me headaches.
Overall, I gotta say, I'm not too happy with this purchase. The lack of info, the messed up delivery, the scratched-up main panel, and the limited range of the motion detectors... it's all just a big letdown. I expected better, you know? So, if you're thinking about buying from Fortress Security Store, I'd say proceed with caution, my friend.
Disappointed with Fortress Security Store: Faulty System, Poor Customer Service, and Restocking Fee
I bought a system from Fortress Security Store's website at the end of January for $139.99. When I received the system, it started blabbering about some remote alarm and the siren kept going off every 20 seconds or so. I called their customer support and wasted a good 3 hours trying to fix this issue (mind you, I already have 2 other systems from them). Finally, the lady on the phone told me to either return it or get another panel. I was so mad after spending half my day on the phone with customer support! I strongly believe that they sold me a used item as new! You know why? Because there was a sticker with some LPN code on the back, covering the original barcode (check out the photos, mate). I told the customer service lady about this, but she had the audacity to tell me it's an Amazon thing and I should contact them. But hold on a minute, I bought it directly from the Fortress website, not Amazon! Amazon had nothing to do with it, you know what I'm saying? So, anyway, I returned the item and had to pay around $13 for shipping fees. And guess what? They even charged me a restocking fee! Can you believe it? A restocking fee for a faulty item that had already been returned once before! And they had the nerve to sell it to me as new! (If it wasn't a return, they wouldn't have put that LPN code over the real barcode, you know what I mean?) I won't be doing business with them again, that's for sure. In my opinion, they're pretty sorry. Plus, this unit didn't seem as well-made as the others I have. It felt cheaply made, to be honest. I'm really disappointed in Fortress for charging me a restocking fee, wasting my time with their customer service, and trying to pass off a returned unit as new! So, be really careful if you decide to deal with these guys. They're not what they used to be, obviously...
Mixed Review: Quick Delivery and Good Packaging, Easy Setup, Keypad Issues and Alarm Glitches
I got my order from Fortress Security Store pretty quick and overall I was happy with how they packed it (they put it in a box, not one of those flimsy envelopes). Setting up the system was pretty easy if you're good with tech stuff. If you're not, I'd suggest getting a computer-savvy friend to give you a hand. Mounting it was a breeze too, just drill a few small holes and stick in the screws.
For the first few days, everything was smooth sailing. But my wife, who has trouble seeing things clearly, couldn't make out the screen well enough to change the alarm settings. The keypad was big enough for her though, so she didn't have any problems with that. It lights up when you touch it, which is handy.
Then on the fourth day, I noticed something weird. Whenever I touched the keypad to arm or disarm the system, it would register two touches instead of one. I had to enter my code 2 or 3 times just to get it to work. And then, on the sixth day, the alarm armed itself while we were still at home! We didn't even hear it counting down, and when we went outside to feed the dog, the alarm went off! That 140-decibel alarm sure does its job, but I already have trouble hearing, so I better keep some earphones nearby!
This morning, the keypad acted up again. It started counting down on its own. Luckily, I heard it and managed to disarm it before the alarm went off again. Maybe my keypad is just faulty, or maybe it's picking up some random wireless signal. I don't know for sure, but I've asked for a return merchandise authorization (RMA) because the status screen is too small for my wife to see.
Overall, I think the product itself is pretty good, but our keypad had some issues. Fortress should think about making the status and setting screen twice as big as it is now. It should also have at least one small light so it can be seen in the dark. And as for the alarm arming itself, Fortress needs to figure out if they can replicate the problem and fix it.
Efficient and User-Friendly Website, Reliable System Components, Excellent Customer Service
Website is easy to navigate, systems are separated in logical order, making browsing efficient. For some reason Total Security WiFi can only be found by searching for it by name, it doesn't appear with the rest of Total Security packages. I ordered the ANI alarm package, with additional sensors. The package arrived in just a few days, with everything I ordered. It arrived in a USPS Priority Mail shipping box, so it didn't draw attention to there being a Fortress system inside. I tested each component on the bench and found to be functional before installing. Door/window (D/W) sensors were installed using small screws (purchased separately) to ensure they stayed fastened long term. D/W sensors are small and neat looking. I purchased an RFID keypad, which I installed in the garage for convenience to disarm the system before entering the house. I found the RFID tags to be a dependable and easy way to disarm the system. The remote keyfobs do not have a coverplate like the SO2 system did, and I thought have too much potential for inadvertent actuation when in a pocket or purse along with other objects. I will probably keep one in the car glovebox just in case. The App for controlling the system using my iPhone works very well for changing settings, connecting sensors to the system main panel, arming and disarming. It does indicate actual arm/disarm state (e.g. the iPhone app will change from indicating armed to disarmed after disarming the system using the RFID keypad. However, there is no indication of status for individual zones or detector, and no indication that the system is "ready to arm" like other systems. In fact, you can arm the system with a window open unknowingly, so tour the house before leaving, it will not do your job for you. The main panel has a voice that announces arming, disarming, and which zone is alarming. However, like others have noted in their reviews, it is not loud enough to be able to understand more than two paces away. The volume for this feature is not adjustable, however the volume for the main panel alarm is (although the highest volume setting is what I would term "information" not a scary alarm. Depend on the separate alarm modules for that. Sensors came, as advertised, already mated to the main panel by Fortress. However, if you think about it, you will want to arrange the sensors into zones that make sense for your individual house and security goals. Not to worry... it was very easy to delete the sensors and reassign them to different zones as desired. Customer service by way of instant messaging and email is superb (No, I don't work for Fortress). I was able to get guidance for the two specific questions I had right away (minutes), and they were correct and solved the problem. Their customer service is available 7 days until 4:30 pm. Nice. Overall, the system components seem to work very well together, and settings for each zone make the system flexible. Forget the "you're up and running in 30 minutes" idea, unless you have one door and one window. You will want to lay things out and decide exactly where to put the sensors, try the first one slow, do it right the first time. It will take a little time, but it gets easier as it goes. I found the pet friendly motion sensors have a fairly short range ( 6-8 feet. I haven't got the glass break sensors installed yet, but I expect they will work as advertised also. I also have not set up the notification feature yet, so I don't know what that looks like. I have a sensor range issue with sensors in the garage, but will work that out, possibly by adding the available signal repeater to extend the range if needed. A very nice system for the money. I got estimates for a professional system to be installed to do the same thing. I didn't want to pay over $2000 and $40/month. There are also a lot of other systems out there on shopping sites. Many of them advertised in broken English. I selected this company because of the clear language advertising, and reviews (and the ongoing sale didn't hurt either). Download the system manual and read it first. It is written in a pretty clear, step by step format. You can find some things it doesn't talk about, but you can pretty easily contact customer support to fill in the blanks. I would recommend this company and system if you like do-it-yourself projects, want to add security for your home, and don't want to pay for professional monitoring.

Shipping Issues and Great Customer Service: A Review of Fortress Security Store
Shipping costs be way too high, man. Like seriously, they need to chill and use USPS.gov for cheaper options. My first order was a total mess, dude. They sent me the wrong stuff, but luckily their customer service came through and sent me the right items along with a return label for the wrong ones. Props to them for that. The replacements came in real quick thanks to USPS, but guess what? The original order finally showed up after I had already bounced from the place where I needed them. Talk about bad timing, right?
But hey, gotta give credit where it's due. Customer service has been pretty solid overall. They've been quick to replace any faulty parts without giving me a hard time, and get this, they even have this crazy 3-year guarantee thing going on. That's some next-level commitment to customer satisfaction, man. So yeah, despite the shipping blunders and all, I gotta say Fortress Security Store has been treating me right.
Disappointing Connectivity Issues and Delayed Sim Card Delivery - Hoping for a Resolution
I've had my system for over a week and it won't connect to the network, even though it's showing plenty of service. I chose this unit because of its connectivity, but it's just not working. The new sim card took a whole week to arrive, and I'm still not sure if it will actually work. They told me I might need a new unit, but they haven't sent one yet. It's also annoying that I have to leave feedback if I want to give a rating lower than three stars. My opinion of them will get better if they resolve this issue.
Challenging for Non-Tech-Savvy Users, but Impressive Customer Service - Fortress Security Store Review
This Fortress Security Store ain't no walk in the park for folks who ain't tech-savvy. I've been on the phone and shootin' emails to their customer service like there's no tomorrow, and gotta say, they've been mighty patient and helpful. But dang it, even after I installed this system on 6/24/19 and set off more alarms than I can count, I still can't arm the darn thing (7/8/19) without them sirens blarin' like crazy. Now I'm back at it, chattin' with customer service through email, hopin' they can fix this mess. I gotta admit, I'm real tempted to just return this system and get me one that comes with professional installation and monitoring, even if it means payin' a monthly fee.

Disappointing Customer Support Experience with Fortress Security Store
So, we had this issue with our connectivity, right? Like, it was so bad that we had to get a new sim card from Fortress Security Store. But guess what? When we tried to activate the card, they sneakily added a whole new monthly payment to our cart! Can you believe that?
Now, here's where things get even more frustrating. We tried to reach out to their support team on a Sunday, during the hours that their fancy website claimed they were open. But guess what? All we got was a recording telling us to send an email. So, we did just that. And what did we get in return? Nothing! Well, except for an auto-response, which is like a robot saying, "Hey, we got your email, but don't expect a real response anytime soon."
Now, Monday rolls around, and we're still waiting for a response. Like, seriously? How hard is it to reply to an email? We were starting to lose hope, but then we decided to give them a call at 3:45 (EST). And finally, finally, we got to speak to a real person. Thank goodness for that!
But here's the thing, Fortress Security Store. If you're gonna claim that you're open 7 days a week, shouldn't you actually, you know, respond to your customers within a reasonable timeframe? It just seems like common sense to us. Like, why even bother having those hours if you're not gonna be there for your customers when they need you?
So yeah, we're glad we finally got some assistance from a human being. But honestly, the whole experience left a bad taste in our mouths. We expected better from Fortress Security Store, especially when it comes to something as important as our security. Hopefully, they step up their game and start providing the level of customer support they claim to offer.
Mixed Experience with Fortress Security Store: Missing Item Resolved, Delayed SIM Connection
I had a couple of issues with my order from Fortress Security Store. The first problem was that my order was missing one 'pet motion sensor'. I reached out to their support team and they were able to send me the missing item within a few days. So, that issue got resolved and I was happy about it.
However, the second issue I faced was with the SIM connection and signal problems. I had paid for two months of service along with the startup fee, but unfortunately, I still couldn't connect to the system. This was a big problem for me because without the SIM connection, the whole security system becomes useless. I don't have a landline and my internet service is only available through a hotspot on my cellphone. So, I really rely on the SIM to make this system work.
I decided to chat with the support team again to address this problem. They assured me that they would send a new SIM to me, but it has been over a week now and I still haven't received it. This is frustrating because I really need the SIM connection to make the security system functional.
Overall, I appreciate that the first issue was resolved promptly, but I am disappointed with the delay in resolving the second issue. I hope Fortress Security Store can send me the new SIM soon so that I can finally connect to the system and have peace of mind.
Disappointed with Product Quality and Customer Service Response Time
I gotta say, I got my system real quick, just like I ordered it. Most of the stuff was working fine, but there were a couple of hiccups. The SIM card and the Power Supply were not in working order, which was a bummer.
So, I reached out to customer service on 3/25, hoping they could help me out with getting replacement items for the SIM card and Power Supply. But let me tell ya, I still haven't received those items yet. It's been a while, you know?
I sent them another email on 4/2, just to check in and see what's up with the shipment of those replacement items. And guess what? They said they'll re-ship 'em. I hope they actually do this time.
Now, here's the thing. I signed up for the SIM card communications on 3/23, and they gave me an activation number on 3/25. But guess what? That number ain't working, even till this day. Man, I'm really disappointed with how this whole thing is going. The unit's performance is not up to par, and they ain't doing a great job fixing the issues either.
Mixed Experience with Fortress Alarm System: Great Performance, Slow Customer Service
So, I just got myself this G6 Titan alarm from Amazon, you know? It came with these fancy lithium powered door and window sensors. But then, I thought, "Hey, let me order the same alarm system from fortress, see what they got." And guess what? The door and window sensors they sent me were the older nicad powered ones. Bummer, right?
Now, here's the thing. I needed those sensors for some unheated areas, you know, where it can get pretty chilly. So, I wanted to make sure I had the lithium powered ones, 'cause they handle the cold better. I reached out to a representative at fortress, and they were all like, "Yeah, let me check if we can swap those nicad sensors for the lithium ones." And I gotta say, I haven't heard back from anyone at fortress yet. It's been a while, you know?
But hey, apart from that little hiccup, I'm actually pretty stoked with the t6 Titan system I got installed right now. It's doing its job, keeping me safe and sound. So, yeah, overall, I'm a happy camper. Just hoping fortress gets back to me soon about those sensors, you know? Fingers crossed!
Major Frustrations with Fortress Security Store: Random RFID Failures, Sensor Errors, Siren Issues, Texting Disaster, App Problems
I gotta say, I've been dealing with some major frustrations when it comes to Fortress Security Store. Let me break it down for ya:
First off, this whole random RFID failing to disarm thing is driving me up the wall. Like, seriously, what's the point of having a security system if it doesn't even work properly? It's like playing a game of chance every time I try to disarm the dang thing.
And don't even get me started on the sensors reporting errors when there ain't even a problem. It's like they're just messing with me, preventing me from arming the alarm when I need to. Talk about a major headache.
But wait, there's more! The sirens, man, they just won't shut up even after I've disarmed the alarm. It's like they're having a party of their own and I'm not invited. I mean, come on, I just want some peace and quiet, ya know?
Oh, and let's not forget about the texting issue. It's a complete disaster. I can't even send a simple text to let someone know what's going on. Thankfully, I had a chat with Celia from customer support and she promised to send me a new Sim card to fix this problem. Hopefully, that'll also take care of the next issue on my list.
Number five on my list of frustrations is the iPhone app. At first, it was working just fine, but now it's like it's gone on vacation or something. I've tried everything, even deleted and reinstalled the app, but no luck. I can't arm, disarm, or even interact with the alarm using the app. It's like it's playing hard to get or something.
Overall, I gotta say I'm pretty disappointed with Fortress Security Store. These issues have been a major hassle and have seriously affected my peace of mind. I hope they can get their act together and fix these problems ASAP.
Disappointing S03 Alarm System: Faulty Delays, Sensitivity Issues, Useless Tech Support
So, I gotta tell ya about this S03 alarm system I bought from Fortress Security Store. Man, let me tell ya, it's a real piece of work. I mean, as soon as I step foot in the space, that alarm goes off like crazy. I tried setting the delays over and over again, and it keeps telling me it's all set, but it ain't. What a joke!
And don't even get me started on those key fobs. They're just plain ridiculous. I mean, even if I just put 'em in my pocket or accidentally brush against 'em, boom, the alarm goes off again. It's like they're super sensitive or somethin'. What a hassle!
So, I called up their tech support, right? Spent a whole freakin' 40 minutes on the phone with 'em. They thought the base unit was messed up, so they said they'd send me a new one. But guess what? They sent me a copy of the manual instead. Like, seriously? What am I supposed to do with that? Talk about useless!
And let's not forget about the phone app. I tried settin' it up on both my Apple and Android devices, but nothin' worked. It just wouldn't connect with the base or it would crash right away. I even tried reinstallin' it multiple times, but no luck. What a waste of time!
Overall, this product is a real letdown, and their tech support ain't much better. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere, my friend. Trust me, you'll thank me later.
Responsive S3 Control Panel with Minor Issues - 1 Star Rating
I got the S3 control panel right on time, which was pretty cool. I already had a different system in my crib, but that panel's speaker started acting up, so I had to get a new control panel. This one connected to the WiFi real quick and it's super responsive, which is dope. Before I swapped it out with the old panel, I hooked up a front door sensor and a motion sensor. Now, when I open the door, it shouts out "Zone 1 door open!" and when I close it, it says "door one door open." The sensors are supposed to be for doors and windows, but if you open a window, it still says "zone number door open." They gotta fix that, man.
When I arm the system and it starts counting down, some of the numbers look all messed up, especially the number 4. I hit them up through email about it, but they're giving me the runaround so far. That's why I gave them a one-star rating, you feel me?
