I recently had an experience with FreshTrends and I must say, it was quite disappointing. I placed an order and waited patiently for around 4-5 weeks for it to ship. The desired length of the post was usually wrong, and the threading of the post and the gem was usually broken. To make matters worse, I had ordered two items but they only shipped one. What a joke!
I decided to send the items back to have them repaired, but boy was that a mistake. It took a whopping 8-10 weeks for the items to be returned to me, and when they did, they were still not up to par. It was a never-ending cycle of disappointment and frustration. I couldn't believe how [censored]ic this company was!

This company is not very professional. I made an order on April 21st and even paid for the 1-day shipping. However, after waiting for two weeks, I still had not received my purchase. I was very disappointed when May 12th came around and I still had not received my package. I contacted the company again and was told that I would receive my package on May 20th. At this point, I was very upset. I found the same pair of earrings on Etsy for half the price and with a 5-day turnaround time.
I decided to email the company again on May 21st to request a refund. However, I was still seeing my earrings in production and not ready to ship. The customer service and communication from this company was horrible. I will never order from them again.

I filed a complaint with the BBB, and to my surprise, I received a shipping notification the next day that the original order I placed on December 28th, and cancelled on December 29th, had been shipped. This review is quite lengthy, but if you're considering spending a lot of money at FreshTrends, it's worth reading. My mom gave me two gold nipple rings as a Christmas gift, but accidentally placed two separate orders since there's only one ring per order. She paid for 14G 14k gold rings with 5mm opals.
Firstly, the jewelers don't seem to know what they're doing. When I tried to unscrew one of the rings, the opal was stripped and fell off the screw with barely any pressure. This happened to both nipple rings twice, but they fixed them without charging me, so I was okay with it.
Later on, I lost a ball and needed to buy a replacement one for $65. I went back to the email of the order receipt to make sure I bought the right one and checked online as well. The replacement took almost two months to arrive, and when it finally did, I noticed that the ball was much larger than the ones on my rings.
I contacted customer service to ask if 4mm and 5mm were the only sizes of opals they offered (which is what the site said), and the representative replied, "yes, why would you like smaller?" I attached photos of some of the emails and both opals on a ruler. I measured them (I'm a QC microbiologist, so I can measure accurately) and sent pictures where they are CLEARLY two different sizes. The customer service representative agreed and said she would replace them with the correct size balls. When I sent them back, they had the audacity to tell me that the one that doesn't even touch the 5mm line was over 5mm. 5mm is 5mm, and 4mm is 4mm. It's super unprofessional to have two different-sized stones marketed as the same size. Then, after sending them in, they didn't replace them with the correct-sized balls like they said they would.
After all of this, I never received a refund, my mother overpaid for the ones I got, which wasn't refunded either. It took over two months for me to get them back, so I had to wear cheap ones that irritated my nipples. Worst of all, my "fixed" barbells look terrible. The side that doesn't come off is put on crooked, and there's no way to fix it.
