My husband and Iattempted access for a free trial of FuboTV on 8/3/23 but were unable to proceed. We got a message asking to choose a package. We did not want a plan. We wanted to watch an MLB game. We were denied access to the game. At no point did we enter our Discover credit card number. On 8/11/23, my Discover card was charge $101.26. I wrote to fuboTV requesting a refund, explaining the circumstances. Email back and forth over 8 times. Fubo responded that there was an open account in my husband's name. It was not active and went back to 2018. They kept my Discover card details and used it to charge $101.26. This was a fradulent use of my card.
I filed a dispute with Discover. Fubo supplied "proof" that we accessed FuboTV which we did not.
I called Fubo today. Was told by Ryan that my refund request was approved. He transferred me to Kim in Sales. Kim put me on hold 5 times and said he could not refund. I asked for a supervisor. Kim told me a supervisor would tell me the same thing. I insisted. He argued with me. Then he scheduled a call-back time from Fubo to me at 5:30 this afternoon. I do not expect to hear from him. I believe this company is not reputable. I asked for a refund of $101.26 in each email and phone call.
Discover will only issue a refund if I supply written proof that Fubo will refund my money.
Desired outcome: I want a refund of $101.26 placed on my Discover card. I want it confirmed in writing via email.
