Hisense 9 kg washing machine
I am so frustrated with the Game store in Somerset and Hisense in general. To begin I was a cash paying customer purchasing a washing machine of R7000. When you purchase a product that is worth this much of cause you look for something that is of good quality and last for quite a few years.
To my dissatisfaction the 9kg washing machine did not last me one year. The actual reason that I bought the washing machine is because I have kids less than 12 years old and have been struggling for the past month with dirty smelly clothes.
One of my children is currently on the potty training, I've been sitting with stinking dirty laundry, I have my grandmother staying with me as well who is also not well and imagine having to take her to hospital with dirty clothing. I can get charged for negligence and she could lose her government grants because people will be thinking I'm not taking care of her.
When I went to game, they sent me from pillar to post. But they were the ones who so eagerly took my money. Infact they were more than happy to take my money but did not ry to assist me in the least. I was referred to a white lady names Jeanette from Hisense as the washing machine is a Hisense brand. Then this white lady Jeanette who I'm sure have no customer service skills at all or maybe it's because I'm not her color treated me like a peasant.
If you google peasant, you will see what it meant, it means that she treated me like a poor, uneducated person of low status. on top of that she was flippin rude. Mind you if I want to, I can be rude too but I choose not to. She has no empathy for people and has no respect for herself and your clients.
She is clearly not happy with her job description, or maybe because of the color of her skin she feels she can speak to people and treat people like she owns Hisense.
However, because of her and her lack of empathy is why Hisense and Game will be getting bad reviews all over social media, hello peter and well as the Ombudsman.
This was not the only disappointment regarding the washing machine.
When this [censored] called Jeanette sent out the supposedly repair agents, they came to my house looking for a water leak on the washing machine but that was not the problem. They did not switch on any machine. One guy took his phone and put on his flash looked in the washing machine and said the front rubber is a problem.
He said it was caused by overloading the washing machine. How petty, how does one overload a 9 kg washing machine. How is a machine that is not over 1 year old and still withing guarantee just stop working.
They gave me a quote for R1300 as according to them Hisense the rubber gasket has to be replaced and does not fall under the guarantee. Its customer negligence, you do the math how is a rubber customer negligence when the washing machine was never overloaded. I did not have any money at the time do the repair. In fact, it was never my duty to pay for the repair.
I had to go and make a loan and decided to get a second opinion as I was not happy with the feedback from your incompetent staff, and repair agents.
Low and behold the actual drum was supposed to be replaced. The second opinions guys actually put on the washing machine and they could get the actual problem. And guess what the rubber that I was quoted for R1300 was not the problem.
The drum of the machine was replaced the rubber gasket is still in check there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. So even if I had money and that customer negligence issue was never my fault maybe your repair agents wanted to make money out of me.
I'm so disgusted, what ever happened to customers first. CUSTOMER SERVICE is probably just displayed to white people or rich people. Whatever happened to having sympathy for people. Instead, Game just took my money and had no interest in what happened to the faulty product at all.
I have all the slips and quotations and well as email correspondences from Jeanette.
I also have the guarantee papers that I received upon the time of purchase. To Jeanette. you are an inconsiderate individual who picks on people of a different color. To game thank you so much for the inconvenience you caused myself and my children and well as my granny who lives with me.
And thank you for treating your customers like [censored].
My warning to people wanting to purchase from Game is Somerset. Think twice before you spend your hard-earned cash at game. They will gladly take your money with a smile on their faces and when it comes to faulty products, they send you to the supplier.
Yes, the suppliers should fix the [censored] they sell to people. Then their representative is out to make money out of you.
Even in Jeanettes email correspondence is called me stupid and not educated and that is of the worst customer services ever. You had me making debit in midst of a pandemic and its money that I do not even have.

DESCRIPTION OF FAULT:
The machine powers up.
The machine does not wash/ spin
THe display screen reads F01
I googled the function F01 means a circuit board error.
I have received feedback from the Game Webmaster online helpline advising that someone will contact me to arrange pick up of the product.
I did stipulate in the email, that i do work in theatre and that the liason should be done by email, rather than phone call.
However on the 3rd of January, there was a missed call from Game Newcastle.
I subsequently send further emails to the online game helpline, to rearrange a day, with no response from the online webmaster helpline.
It has been more than a week, with a non-functional product.
I will sincerely appreciate immediate collection and replacement of the product, or a refund.
As not having a washer/dryer is a big inconvenience to me, especially now during the 4th wave of covid, and me being a health care worker.
I look forward to a swift resolution of this issue

I purchased a set of bicycle training wheels online on the 15th December 2021. The was a highlighted message that stated that if items were purchased by the 15th it would be delivered on time. I called your call center numerous times to confirm the delivery, and I assured that the item had been dispatched and I would receive a call from the courier company. I've asked one of the staff members which was in the ile what is the price on the marked down item(as there was no price) Her reply was, go asked at the till.As all staff members was grabbing the marked down item.At the till I asked the lady infront of me for the price, and the same staff member came from the back with the same response. She refused to show her name badge and walked of.

Don't buy from Game Stores. I hate going to Game Stores because there service is appalling, no matter which store you go to. I then decided to shop online, and it seems that is even worse. I made an online purchase of 2 items and upon delivery I only received one of them. I then sent emails to customer care and received no response to date. In this time I contacted customer service 3 times and, as helpful as the agents were, they could not advise as to why my order has not been delivered as more than 1 store had stock of the item. Today I call back and I am advised that none of the stores have stock. Note that this item is still being advertised on their website and on social media! This is false advertising. I have sent quite a few emails and I received 1 generic email stating that there is no stock of the item I purchased. I also found out today that the systems have not been updated since Black Friday and that's why the system shows that they have stock. Black Friday was over a month ago. @massmart is this the type of service you offer?

The issue that I have experienced was: on 17/12/2021 14:00 the afternoon I visited your Game store Mokopane.
2. I went to the toy department the three employees was standing in the ile with a trolley and talking, I wanted to pass and said excuse me they ignored me, I them took the trolley the gentleman was holding and pushed it await for me to pass.
I walked in to the jewelry counter, I was standing there almost 10 min looking at the stock, no once assisted me, the lady behind the counter was talking to another employee of game, I was not greeted, I was not assisted. they did not even walk may way.
I left the jewelry dep went to the toys department.

I stood there again almost 10 mon, with two gentleman behind the counter not even greeting or assisting me. The one gentleman called a lady form the floor to assist me, she walked to me and said yes! not Helo or Hi. I asked about the smart watched she said yes R1000.00 plus. that wanting to even assist I turn around and walked,
Half way out a returned to the cell phone department and confirmed it has been the worst experience ever no service or customer support.
Please note on both accounts there was no extra customers at the department, only me.
This has really been the worst, and GAME is a national face, never

I placed an Online Order at http://www.game.co.za on the 30 November 2021. This was Christmas gifts. I kept track of the order on the game stores website. On the 14 December I receive an email that my order is delivered. My address I used for delivery is my work address. We have a security that signs everybody in and out of the building as well as cctv footage. I have my proof that I did not receive my order.
I have contacted Game stores numerous times and was told the stock came from Game stores in the gateway Centre Durban North. I get told someone will call back the same day. I keep calling many times a day and I cannot get anyone to sort out this issue, I get the calls been put down on me. These where Christmas presents I ordered online. I want my order as I have paid for it. I'm utterly disgusted with game service. You are absolutely shocking. How do I get someone to sort this matter out as this order was a lot of money. Hi so I am very upset about the service I just received at Game Vryburg - I bought a Spin Mop which was R549. 99 on the rack (which according to the Consumer law that is the price I should have payed) but at the till it was R699. 99 and when I consulted the person in charge they were very rude telling me that it was on special till tuesday, today is FRIDAY why didn't they then change the price back? And that was also the price on the rack BEFORE the Nov special so I was supposed to pay the R549. 99 but they denied me to even try and consult with someone higher or even go look on the rack.

I purchased a TV online but after 2 days it didn't switch on, I sent an email and called customer care to let them know. They said send an email with pictures and within 48 hours someone will collect the TV but they didn't. Till now haven't received any response through email or any calls. I've spent 3 hours on the phone on 4 separate occasions to get this sorted but everytime they give a different story. When I called the second time the lady said 48 hours again. Still nothing. I phoned again, now a week later for them to tell me to wait another 48 hours for someone to get in touch with me. What incompetence.

Tablet Connex
I bought a Connex tablet online in May 2021. It completely shut down in September 2021, I went to the Parow store where the device was checked and confirmed it's not working. However they did not have a Connex available at the store and advised me to email their online complaints to collect it from me. It's the 29th of November 2021, I'm still waiting for any feedback or collection from Game Online, and this after numerous emails. They respond to the emails but never with a solution.
Desired outcome: Please just credit my account and take your broken tablet back.
Poor service delivery

I am utterly disgusted at the service rendered by Game Kenilworth, Cape Town, South Africa.
My wife (3 months pregnant), entered the store today, with our 4 year old Autistic son, to do an exchange between 2 products.
She fetched the product that she wanted on the shelf and stood in the queue to do the exchange. Unfortunately, the products (which she had fetched) barcode was scratched out with a permanent marker. The till operator called the supervisor who then told another staff member to page the individual working in the specific department. This did not happen, so my wife went to the department herself as my son became restless.
When my wife returned to the till, the till operator was arrogant and refused to help her (this, after having to stand in the queue all over again). At this point, my son began crying as the environment became too overwhelming for him. No manager/supervisor came forward to assist her, instead, the till operator told her to "sort it out at customer service" and called the next customer.
1. My son had a sweater on identifying that he is Autistic, as well as a little scooter which he pushes wherever he goes to make him feel comfortable.
2. It was not my wife's duty to go and look for the department sales assistant but because no one was willing to assist her, she was forced to go.
3. At what point does anyone in retail simply react with the attitude that "this is not my problem so I refuse to assist you"?
4. The item was purchased the day before, all we were seeking was to swap it for something else.
5. This is now going to cost me an additional trip to the store to do a simple exchange which could have happened today.
6. I have always been a loyal customer of Game. Is this really the way your staff treats their customers?
Online deliver order [protected]
ONLINE Order for lawnmower was placed 13/11 and paid via eft. On 17/11 Dawn Wing couriers arrived with a damaged, partially sealed (effort with household type tape) BOX WITH no strapping and the delivery was DECLINED as we ordered and paid for a NEW item and cannot be sure that the item they tried to delIver was new or untampered with. A mail was immedIately sent to [protected]@game.co.za ( From the following email address - [protected]@ gmail.com)with photos attached, on which an almost immediate reply that " the matter will be atteded to, but that high complaint volumes were experienced" was received from [protected]@game.co.za
The courier guy ( Pule) phoned and tried to pursued us to accept the delivery, the situation was explained and ONCE AGAIN he was told that WE WILL NOT ACCEPT GOODS IN A DAMAGED PARTIALLY OPENED BOX.
On 19/11 @ 22H25 a mail was send to us from websupport that reads as follow:
" This is to confirm that you received delivery of the following items"
Are they not listening, or are they just ignorent about the fact that the goods WERE NOT ACCEPTED, THUS NOT RECEIVED!
We require proof of distribution of a NEW ITEM, IN A FACTORY SEALED, STRAPPED BOX within 48 hours, or a FULL REFUND OF THE MONEY PAID.
If they try to deliver the same item in a different box, sealed by them, it will constitute FRAUD and both the couriers and Game will be held liable for the consiquences.
Your assistance in this matter will be much appreciated.

We ordered 6x Dell 24" gaming monitors from Brooklyn Game and requested that they perform an inter branch transfer and pull all stock to their store.
3x Monitors were drawn from Wonderpark and 3x were to be drawn from either Mamelodi or CBD. These 3x monitors are still outstanding and have not been collected and transferred to Brooklyn.
We have paid for all 6x monitors in full, but are still short by 3x monitors.
We sent our driver to collect the 3x outstanding monitors from CBD and he was promptly assaulted upon stopping at the CBD store. We have since been instructed that no persons from our organization may any longer collect any products from CBD.
It has been 3 weeks since initiating this request and making it clear to the Brooklyn store that the monitors are very urgent. Yet it seems that is has very little bearing on them to perform.
We asked the staff whether the monitors include an HDMI cable and was told that it does not. We then ordered and paid for 5x HDMI cables in store. Upon unboxing the monitors, each monitors is supplied with an HDMI cable. We need to return the unopened HDMI cables, but don't want to drive to Brooklyn Game store twice. Once to return the HDMI cables and then another time to collect the outstanding monitors.
Desired outcome: Fetch the other 3x monitors and deliver them to Brooklyn store. We will collect from Brooklyn store on the same day and perform the refund on the unnecessary HDMI cables
R5 deals (canon instant camera)
To whom it may concern
I am a bride to be, getting married in 2022.
Getting married can be quite stressful and expensive.
So, when I came across Game South Africa's R5 Canon Instant Camera special, I was over the moon. The idea was to place an instant camera on each table, to give guests the opportunity to capture the moment. These cameras are normally too expensive, especially when buying such a large amount.
I arranged friends and family from across the country to assist in the quest in getting our hands on these cameras.
On 19 November 2022, a group of 10 people arrived at various stores, respectively. We made sure to be by the doors, before they opened, at the start of the que.
Unfortunately, thanks to false advertising, there were absolutely no stock available at any of the branches.
What an embarrassing and disappointing day. People took time of work to participate in this campaign, only to be sent home empty handed.
