Electric blanket
Good morning, firstly I would like to ask. Is true that electric blanket don't have any warranty and I can't return it if its stops working?
I purchased a fitted Queen size electric blanket that has two operating sides, now the other side just stopped working, the blanket has less than 3 months, and we told we can not bring back if ever gave us problems.
So I was wondering what does one do in such a situation.

Service from store manager
Such rude service from the teller and manager at Game Store Clearwater! I went into the store with the store leaflet and was told that they don't sell their goods at the prices advertised on the website! I check the item specifically to the store and it says available in stock and yet they still continued to say it wasn't the case and purposefully speaking in a language I didn't understand after repeatedly asking the manager Kedibone to please explain!
Our fridge has finally been collected, they said our fridge was going to be replaced, but we received an email saying it would be refunded(find attachment below), which is very strange because not once did anyone confirm our banking details with us. We don't even use the account that we paid with last time anymore. Today, 22 July 2021, we called the web support number and the lady told us there is no email saying we would be refunded. What on earth is going on? Everything from getting someone to check on the fridge from getting our fridge was just a extreme hassle and a waist of time. Seems like nobody can do their job. Game is probably the company with the worst and most unprofessional service I have ever had to delt with. The first time we contacted you was in the beginning of May and here we are almost 2 months later and we still don't have our new fridge. We are renting a small fridge now and have wasted about 400 minutes just on you guys. Each one saying they would call back, but they never do. If this is the way you Game does business, I never want to do business with you again!
Samsung TV 32"
I have a similar problem with a Samsung 32"TV
I purchased on 3 Novembet 2021.It was a laybye purchase.On same day I paid for balance of TV licence plus a ball and sweets.The TV has 24 month guarantee.I am unable to find the receipt for both TV payments.I suspect as Game staff are generally extremely slow and ponderous that in the frustration due to long wait.I may have not taken or been given the TV receipt.I have the other receipt, guarantee slip ect.Including receipt for cell phone purchase August 2020.It has been 6 weeks since I asked for a replacement or refund.Numerous emails, calls, store visits.Receipt has not been reprinted.

On the 15th of July 2021 around 3pm I purchased grocery from Game stores in Richards Bay. On my arrival there wasn't any big trolley at the shop, I opted for utilising what was available which were 2 baskets inside a trolley although my grocery contained more stuff and some of which it's weight is very big. I had a hope that by the time I pay by the cashier, the big trolley will be available so that I load my grocery onto the bigger trolley. It was not according to my thinking, so I gave a security my receipt so that she verifies that goods were purchased in the store. The security alluded that I may not take this trolley outside the shop, I asked what will be the resolution as I purchased large quanties of groceries of which I cannot manage to carry with both my hands. She called the manager explaining about my concern and the manager just walked away. I waited a bit and then confronted the manager asking how long should I wait for the big trolley, his answer was he 'doesn't know'! I further questioned him how should I take my grocery out since it not my problem that the trolleys are not enough in the shop. He stated that I should carry them by hand, the mini trolley cannot be out. I stated if that is a case then the staff should assist me to my car with the goods as he insist I must take it by hand. He left me hanging like that. The service rendered by the manager is awful, it very pathetic. His behavior portrayed racism. It is so unacceptable. However, I ended up resolving it on my own by taking it out and then one of his staff member accompanied me to my car. As a customer I cannot be treated as trash, I supported the business there should be means of the company to develop managers on the good etiquette to resolve problems.

On the 27th June I bought a phone Nokia 1.4 at game and game liquor thohoyandou the phone doesn't work it has some technical problems of which I don't know what it is I have paid it cash now today I have returned it back but I have been told to wait for 21 days of which no one told me when I bought the phone now hv to wait for 21days with out phone worse part when I returned my phone they say I must write it in English what the phone is doing and I don't know how to put it English and I haven't told that I must know English to buy that phone

I’m complaining about Game store carnival mall
Good day. I am Nokulunga Ngubeni. I brought in my sons bicycle at game store carnival mall and was assisted by Florence at customer service on the 18th May 2021. I bought the bicycle on the 30th of March and was broken on the front wheel... When I brought it in, I was told I would be contacted on the Thursday to let me know on what measures or how long it will take for it to be fixed... I have tried to call the store and was told it will take 21 days for it to be fixed. And when I call, I'm told it's not done. I spent my hard earned money on this bicycle, for it to break with a month of use. And for the store not to take my complaint seriously is not good. I'm tired of waiting on them. My son was hurt when that bicycle broke... It's either I get my fixed bicycle back or money, because I can't keep on calling them. And the service was poor, considering they are a big store. I have bought a lot of items from game, never have I experienced such. Please assist.
Damaged fridge
Worst service ever, they sold me a damaged fridge at Game Cresta been trying to get a replacement ts been two months now I would never buy anything from game or massmart group stores I don't like how they are handling things. I wrote emails, been trying to contact them but they not willing to help, the sales person and the manager they are busy talking me up and down, I am so disappointed considering how reputable the store.

Microwave Russel Hobbs 45l
I bought a Russel Hobbs Microwave 45l from Game Rosebank it had a fault returned it hardly 3 days and was given another one, same thing happened with the 2nd one within 3 days, I was then exchange and got a new one at Game Midrand on the 24/06/2020, this one lasted till recently in May, I returned to Game Clearwater, I have been given the run around ever since and no communication since the 24 May, I called on the 20th June and stated that the 21 days for repair has lapsed and that the manager would call me, after an hour a lady called me and stated that they would get back to me, its more than 21 days right now and no feedback is communicated and that still when you call the phone rings alone the whole time. I dont understand why was i not given a new microwave and move on with my life while i have to sit more than a month now 35days in counting without a microwave that I bought from Game

Bought a Hisense DVDL80S tumble dryer on the 12th June 2021.
On the 21st June 2021 started tripping after 5min of working. Phoned Game stores Alberton and was told to email till slip to them so they can arrange for a service technician to fix it at my home.
You would think after only 9 days of working, Game stores will replace the tumble dryer instead of fixing it.
Disgracefull!

Game store located in Durban at pavilion shopping mall has displayed the most pathetic customer service I have ever received. I had purchased a built-in stove 4 weeks ago, to which there was a factory fault on the hob. The department manager was called and a technician was called to inspect the damage and was regarded as a factory fault. To date, there has been no feedback. No one has called me WRT to the status of the return or replacement. I have been calling daily, to which there is no help. To defy consultant at the store is equally useless. I'm frustrated and I want a refund. I am using my own phone to call the store. Each time there is no joy. I have a job and I don't have the time to keep calling the store for the employees to do their job! I want my money back! The department manage is absolutely useless and unprofessional. I want my money back and I don't want this stove. I want a formal apology for my inconvenience and my time!

I have a complaint against Game stores in Tzaneen.My son is a Grade 12 IT student and in January I bought him a laptop at Game stores in Tzaneen.He did not inform me that the laptop had software problems because he beleive d because I already bought there's nothing that can be done.i realized on the 7th of May that its not functioning well and since it's still under warranty I took it back to the store.They tried to wipe everything and realized that indeed it had software problems.They told me that they are sending the machine back to the supplier for fixing.that was on the 7th May and I was told it will take a maximum of 21days and they will communicate.up to date the laptop is still not back and I have to go to the internet cafe everyone he has work to do and I'm spending a lot of money that I don't have.i went to the store to find out about the laptop and was told they don't know what's going on the people from the repairs are not picking up their fones.i am frustrated because I paid my last money and they are not helping.

Pathetic service received for my first experience buying online from game. My order was placed on the 02.06.2021 and to date, no communication or feedback received what so ever. I called the contact Centre over 5 times but none of the consultants were willing to advise when my order will be delivered. I then requested to speak to the manager, but apparently the manager was busy and was advised that the manager will call me. Still no call back. To top it all, the consultant tells me that she is unable to provide me with the name or contact number of the manager. Quiet disappointing service from such a huge retail store. All I want is a refund and I will try to source the item else where!

Good day this is David Bennet I purchased a DEFY top loader from one of your GAME stores in Cape Town location: Sanlam center Parow and I lost the purchasing till slip however I have been trying to get a re-print since last year May 2020 was advised via email: The department that logs calls for a re-trace of receipts are not operating during the lock down period the top loader has been giving issues since last year and not working at the moment I have been trying to get this matter resoled to date haven't received any satisfying response and the top loader is still under manufacturer warranty, extended warranty only kicks in next month send numerous email's forth and back below contact details.

Defy Microwave not working
I am appalled with the service I received from Game stores Alberton City. It had been 3 weeks waiting for them to call back to retrieve my slip.
I bought a Defy Microwave on 22/11/2020 at Alberton city Game store. After some few months the microwave stopped working. I went to the store with the original packaging with barcode n the signiture of the salesperson. I had misplace my slip, I presented my bank statement to show them the proof of payment. However I was returned back promised that they would call Head office to trace my slip.
I fail to understand that your terms n conditions clearly says that you will gladly exchange or refund my money when the item is in its original packaging.
I would like to ask if u can look into this matter of lack of service!

The issue that I have experienced was: I purchased a sony home theater system that is no longer working.
Unfortunately i have misplaced the receipt and went in store for assistance. I was advised that receipt needs to be requested from Head Office and they will contact me. A couple of days later i follow up and im being told the TAT is 7 to 14 working days. A week later im being told system has been revamped, it is going to take 4 weeks. This is the same feedback given to numerous client as per hello peter. I contact head office and i am told only the store can assist me, i can not contact head office. After phoning game everyday for a month. Talking with countless Customer Care people, with 2 telling me the washing machine will be delivered that week - I have still not received anything. It is impossible to get hold of any form of a manager and the only time they get back to me is to tell me they will get back to me the following day, which no one ever does. I have never in my life been so frustrated with any company.

I bought a laptop last year April only for it to stop working mid July. I took it back to the store and explained that I have misplaced the receipt but I produced proof that I have bought it at the store. They promised to find a replacement reciept for me and I've been waiting for months. I have been going to the shop to can check what's happening and even lodged a complaint but I am still not assisted. They apparently cannot find trace my receipt. I fear my warranty is coming to an end and I am stuck with a laptop that I Barely used.. Been to the store a multiple of times to check on the progress as there is no communication and I still leave with no help.

Bad service at Heidelberg Mall
I bought a Bennett Read iron on 09/02/2020 it stopped working by December. So i returned it to Game store at Heidelberg Mall on 21/01/2021. They said it will only take 21 days to get it fixed. It has been a month now when I go check it they said on 20/02/2021 they will follow up and call me back again. Yet on the repair agreement it was stated if it takes more than 21days they will refund or replace it. I'm disappointed in their service what must I use all along to iron my clothes.

Baby Stroller broken
I have a purchase for my baby's stroller that comes with a car sit, I haven't been using this stroller I was only using the car sit, then to my surprise when I wanted to use it, the stroller was broken where the baby rest her feet, I have made this purchase on the 04/03/2020 I swiped r1000 from my capitec account and paid the difference cash, I have lost the receipt as I did think I will have to take it back, so I called the store where I made this purchase which is game chris hani and the lady from customer service was so rude telling me that the stroller doesn't have guarantee and that they can't help me if I don't have the receipt. I must say that chris hani shop assistants service sucks big time.
