NJ police working on criminal charges
I was ripped off by garage door parts LLC for $135. They charged my Wells Fargo account TWICE. I filed fraud complaint with Wells Fargo. LLC refunded ONE of the two charges. I wrote a complaint to New Jersey attorney general (AG). AG sent me a letter stating that LLC had entered into a concent agreement and about arbitration. I sent demand letter to LLC by certified US Mail letter. Letter was returned marked "REFUSED". I was sent letter by AG stating that arbitration would contact me. Arbitration never contacted me. I have never received parts and have never received refund for $135.00. I also sent a letter to the internet crime FBI but have not received a reply. This crook still has a good looking web site and is probably scamming many new victims. Help shut him down. He is operating under several other business names.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
No Delivery of products Paid for
On April 2nd 2008 I ordered a tension spring from this compnay and paid with my visa. I received a confirmation email shortly thereafter with an order number. On April 4th 2008, funds were withdrawn from my visa account. No other communication from the company to date. I've sent emails to the compnay requesting an order update with no response. I file a "ticket" with the company's customer service with no response. I have called nearly every day to speak with someone, but I just get an answering machine that is always full. I did leave one message when the machine picked up. No one has comtacted me.
One more sucker here. Serves me right for not doing due diligence, I guess. Is New Jersey some sort of third-world country that just lets scammers like this operate unmolested? You'd certainly think so after looking at this scam.
Wow placed an order today and got to the payment page and they wanted me to mail a check. Who uses checks these days? I googled the address they wanted me to mail it to and its a crap hole slum in NJ. Then I found about a million complaints about this scam. tore up the check and threw it away...thanks all you saved me from being ripped off
This shmuck ripped me off for $80.00, ordered parts and never shipped. Someone should find this guy and take care of him for all
of us! Especially living in New Jersey, there should be someone that can "pay him a visit"! this happened July 2010.
-Gary "the Animal" Moss P.S. Next time I'm in NY, I may go looking for him, just too far away...as of today.
I don't understand why the owner of this company is not behind bars where they belong. They have a bank account, the state attorney should be able to shut them down. I guess that's our tax dollars hard at work. This was a pricy lesson, but a lesson none the less. Going forward I'll do my home work.
I'm glad this info is out there. I almost placed an order with this guy! Ended up ordering from youdoitstore.com and got my stuff quick! Thanks for saving me this time complaintsboard.com!
I got ripped off last month. I just realized it today as I read this site.
February 2010 and this company is still around and allowed to commit fraud? I sent then an e-check (yes, I am stupidly trusting) and that was the last I heard from them. I have filed a complaint with the NJ attorney General's office at http://www.state.nj.us/lps/ca/ocp/ocpform2.htm
and will file a complaint with the FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center at
http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx
and filled out a collections fraud packet at my bank to see how the check was presented with no information on the back.
This complaint is about Garage Door Parts, Lcc and is over a year older than most of the ones above! Can't see why New Jersy cops can't seem to stop this crook. I'm doing my best. I have contacted the BBB of NJ and the AG. Let's see what they will do. Don't screw with the Virginian.
Well i'm another sucker, when is the atty general of NJ going to act? you can count me in when he desideds to get off his chair and do something, This guy belongs in prison. John
After months and months of e-mailing for the delivery of my parts, I have finally received them. I sent over 50 e-mails every day to the two websites : sales@garagedoorpartsllc.com and sales@apexgaragedoorparts.com. There is also a new site at sales@garagedoorpartsxprss.com. This is supposedly a new owner who is buying the site from Mr. Aquino and claims no affiliation with him. In the last 3 weeks, I included his e-mail address in my list and sent many e-mails to his site as well. He finally responded and said he was trying to settle old accounts with Mr. Aquino. To make a long story short, I got my parts. I also requested that all my facebook friends e-mail these three web addresses as often as possible and ask them to send my parts. My suggestion...Do Not Let them get away with ripping you off. Take the time to e-mail multiple times every day. Use different e-mail addresses to stop him blocking you. Get your friends involved.
Is Garage Door Parts, LLC Legit?
Garage Door Parts, LLC earns a trustworthiness rating of 72%
Reliable, but always remember to protect your data.
A long registered date for GarageDoorPartsllc.com can be seen as a positive aspect for Garage Door Parts, LLC as it indicates a commitment to maintaining the website and its domain name for a long period of time. It also suggests that the company is organized and has taken steps to secure its online presence.
The age of Garage Door Parts, LLC's domain suggests that they have had sufficient time to establish a reputation as a reliable source of information and services. This can provide reassurance to potential customers seeking quality products or services.
However ComplaintsBoard has detected that:
- Website's registrar is popular among scammers, it means that a significant number of scammers have used that registrar to register domain names for their fraudulent websites. This can indicate that the registrar has lax verification processes, making it easier for scammers to register domains without providing accurate information.
- There was some difficulty in evaluating or examining the information or data present on the GarageDoorPartsllc.com. This could be due to technical issues, limited access, or website may be temporarily down for maintenance or experiencing technical difficulties.
- GarageDoorPartsllc.com has relatively low traffic compared to other websites, it could be due to a niche focus, but could also indicate a potential lack of traffic and popularity. The GarageDoorPartsllc.com may offer a niche product or service that is only of interest to a smaller audience.
- Garage Door Parts, LLC protects their ownership data, a common and legal practice. However, from our perspective, this lack of transparency can impede trust and accountability, which are essential for establishing a credible and respected business entity.

Garage Door Parts LLC will seal your money and not deliver product. I ordered springs, bearings and rollers for a total or $122.77. I was assured as soon as the money order was received, the parts would be sent out. That was on 2010-11-14. The money order was received and cashed by them on 2010-12-04.
The web page has a logo that say 100% satisfaction guaranteed to build your confidence but it appears Garage Door Parts LLC is ethically challenged. "Thief's"
Phone calls and e-mails have been ignored.
From some one who has been burned by GARAGE DOOR PARTS LLC, AVOID doing business with them would be a smart move.
If conditions change, I will advise.

I placed an internet order with Garage Door Parts LLC on May 3, 2009. They required me to pay by check – routing numbers, etc. I used check number 7111 which they cashed on May 5, 2009.
I have sent them several emails requesting shipment information and I receive this automatic response: We have received your email, it will be responded to in the order it was received. Due to heavy email volume allow additional time for a response to your email. Thank you,

Today I tried to reach them by phone. I got a voicemail box, which was full.
After reading numerous complaint on this site, I sent an email to the BBB. Not sure what to do next.
Did anyone ever receive the product?
This company is now asking buyers to send checks or money orders to the address listed on the web site. I am another victim who lost $75 and never received the order. If you become a victim and paid using your credit or debit card, you can file a fraud claim through your credit card company and/or financial institution within 30 days and you might get your money back that way.
LET'S HELP OTHERS BY GOING INTO THE WEB SITE (www.garagedoorpartsllc.com) using a fake email and name and start placing orders for thousands of dollars. If you are asked for payment information just use fake information or none at all. It seems like they are now requesting to pay via money order or check. Let's overwhelm their web site with all the fake orders going in. Good Luck!
I ordered 4 replacement garage door springs from this company on February 8, 2010. I paid $57.58 for parts and shipping by means of electronic checking. I received a confirmation email (order #205649), but almost a month later I have not received the parts. I have tried calling and emails, but they do not reply. Something needs to be done to shut down this scam.
Order Parts 1-28 2011 Sent a check, check was on 2-2-2011. Call to find out when it was shipped ? NEVER.
Ordered a garage door spring Dec. 7, 2010, still is not delivered to this date of January 17, 2011. The check was cashed Dec. 14, 2010. Attempts to communicate with the vendor have not be successful. What a scam! Stroke, my a...!
I ordered parts from this outfit six weeks ago. They promptly took my money, but never sent my parts. They are impossible to contact. If you are thinking of ordering from them, DON'T.
I too was taken! After looking at all the complaints on this guy it seems to me that everyone seeems to "think someone should do something!" But noone has. Its just written up to a bad experience and most let it go. Thats why he is still scamming. AND law enforcement just dont care! I will try to make this guy pay and see he is brought to justice! Any help from anyone contact me here!
I was scammed also...will we get out money back if they find these guys?
As the owner of a Garage Door Company located in IL, I seen an oppertunity for great prices, better than my supply companies in the area, well we all know why I'm commenting. Got me for $105.00. Has anyone attempted to take them to court? Looking to talk to my lawyer about this, just wanted to see how this may have work out for anyone else? Someone needs to shut them down, and get everyone their money back!
