GE Money Bank BILLING/ADDRESS

I opened an account with GE MONEY BANK in aug.08 and have never received a billing. The original purchase was $156.00.I ran my credit report and this account showed up delinquent.I have always maintained a 800 FICO.On the credit report, it shows I owed them $256.00.I finally found a customer service number for GE MONEY BANK and the lady told me she had the number of my street, but not the name of the street to bill to.Ithen paid off and closed the account. She said that a report would be sent to the credit bureaus and it should be taken care of.To sum this all up, I was very leary of ordering online and will not do it again. From reading comments on the web about the same problems, it sounds like someone should be investigating GE MONEY BANK/AMAZON for illegally running up false fees on customers. Maybe the new US Attorney General can look into this matter.

Hello:
I just tried to pay my bill online for one entire hour. Ridiculous. Glitches galore. I never have difficulty paying any other bill online (and I pay bills on time). GE MONEY bank did not send me a bill. I purchased glasses from Pearl Vision about in late July. About 3 weeks ago I called MONEY BANK to let them know that I had not rec'd a statement. The person said it was in the mail. It was not. I NEVER RECEIVED A PAPER COPY BILL AND DID REQUEST ONE. So, today I tried to pay my bill - not only online but thought about paying by check. I did not do the check via phone since there was a 15.00/10.00 fee. What the heck is going on with this company GE MONEY BANK. I think they are trying to create late payments so they can charge a fee. I'm ticked. My monthly set-up payments finally went through, however, I do not trust the transaction now. I better not discover that they have charged my checking account the full amount. YES, I AGREE - SOMEONE BETTER LOOK INTO THIS. THEY NEED TO MAKE PAYMENT ACCESS FRIENDLY.

Noway - a few seconds ago
This is a scam and the posts you see on here that claim different have hidden agendas for doing so. These people try to use psychology fear and even compassion to ferret out further information. In my case... I never had an account with Chase to begin with neither did I apply for a card. However, they claimed the only way that they could verify the letter I received claiming I had an account, was to render SS#. So I said I would render it. He offered information to prove his validity.
Of which I caught 3 discrepancies. Of which he apologized for and said he would have to alert his supervisor of immediately. LOL

First the phone # offered to me for a Experian is not the actual telephone number for Experian. This was verified by My Credit FRAUD monitoring service. The # [protected] is not anywhere on the legitimate CHASE.COM sites. And after pointing this out to him, he in turn claimed it must have been in error. Also I blocked when calling them, however he claimed my phone number did not match into their system on a search. However asked me to fax or scan the fraudulent letter I received to him. LOL Why would I block my number then release it pending exposing impostors of phishing scams? LOGICAL?

So the numbers in question that were blown out of the water for inconsistencies are: [protected], [protected], & [protected].
The last number listed is where I was routed to the third time for the so called Internal Dept. Of which the individual claimed to be an employee of CHASE.

It gets better. He offered me advice to make a consumer complaint saying the number for Experian was [protected]. Not according to my sources. I am warning people on here to use discernment as much psychology, guile and deception is prevalent in these economic times and the false rebuttals on this page just verify the compliance of these evil entities in the destruction of your economy. Karma is as Karma does and Justice prevails. This page is being used to access info that we know so they can use it to hide better.

GE Money Bank Customer service Sucks!!

I have a GE Money Bank/Care Credit Care. It is used for medical expenses. This company cares nothing about you circumstances and doesnt attempt to work with you in the least. I was a few days late on my payments and most companies give you at least a five day grace but not you are charge a late fee the next day. I call once to ask about the fee being waved since I paid like a day or two later and no assistance at all what so ever. Most credit card companies may wave up to one late fee but they did not such thing. Then the same month I was going to pay the card off completely I was charged my interest in full which didnt accrue until this same month but in the beginnign of the month whereas I intended to pay at the end of the month and again I called (and was on hold for 68minutes) and once again not bending no flexibility at all I now cannot afford to pay off the card because I also have to pay the financing charges. This company sucks and please believe I will tell everyone I can NOT to fool with them they are inhumain and will not help you in the least.

My complaint is with both Amazon and GE Money. They seem to be in cahoots to rip you off with late fees even if you are not late. I will never use either one again. I'm just hoping I can get my name out of their systems. I prefer PayPal where I can use it. If I can't use PayPal I won't buy.

I don't owe any money. I just want my credit card replaced. I am transferred to Mumbai to save GE a few million dollars at the expense of my customer care. The automated service takes ten minutes just to get through yet I am suppossed to be a prefered customer and regularly charge over 10k on my credot card through merchants they collect from. and then the call gets cut off for the third time..

F'ing sucks!

I completely agree. They are shady... fees and charges that they can't give an explainaiton for. Horrible, rude confrontational customer support.
I closed my account and will never do buisness with them again.

I have been trying to get a fax from them for TWO WEEKS, just confirming the face that I have paid down my balance. This fax is for a mortgage financing company I'm working with, which needs to see some of my credit card balances paid down before they'll give me the interest rate I need.

All of my other credit card companies took 24 to 48 hours to send their faxes, at the most. GE Money/Care Credit told me it would be "7 to 10 business days."

Then:
* They faxed the letter twice to the wrong number, and it didn't go through -- and then they DIDN'T CALL ME BACK TO TELL ME they were having technical difficulties
* They will not let me talk to their fax department, even though I explained my home financing is in jeopardy.

Do not get a credit card with GE Money/Care Credit. You are better off just arranging payments with your medical provider. Or finding one who will work with you on a monthly-payment basis.

GE Money customer service personnel are pretty rude. They obviously don't enjoy their jobs and do not care about their customers at all. They should not be called Customer Service, they should be called Customer Abuse.

COLLECTIONS HARASSMENT
Bellevue, US
Feb 15, 2010 2:09 pm EST

GE MONEY & LOEWS FINANCIAL have been harassing me for the past several weeks attempting to collect a debt for an account holder with the same first and last name as mine, but is not me, nor my debt. First of all, I have never applied for a LOEWS credit card, nor have I ever owned one. I am not even a home owner, so not much home improvement going on at my place by me. I originally received a letter attempting to collect a debt in the amount of $935.00. I was surprised to receive the letter knowing I had never owned or applied for services through GE, or LOEWS. That day I ran my credit (and paid the credit site fees out of pocket) to see if someone had stolen my identity and was attempting to use my information to obtain services and credit. I was pleased to find that nothing was reporting to my credit from LOEWS or GE MONEY. I then called GE MONEY & LOEWS FINANCIAL at the number posted on the letter. I informed them that I didn't think they had the correct individual, and they asked to confirm my social security number. I gave them the last 4 digits, which DID NOT match the SS# they had in their collection records. I then asked to confirm the additional information on the account to see if they had my phone number, or address. According to the rep, they additional information did not match mine either. She stated that it appeared to be a mix up, and that they most likely found my information through "skip tracing" and that she would remove my info and note on the account what she had found. I then wrote what she had advised me to on the letter and returned it as instructed. She stated I SHOULDN'T be getting any more mail or communication regarding the matter. I felt like matters had been addressed accordingly and gave it no more thought, until...

I received yet another letter, and another, and another in the same week. All four letters came after our conversation, so I assumed they were already in the mail, called GE MONEY to tell them that I was still getting mail and send the additional letters back as I did the first time exactly as they instructed me to. Again, the rep told me I shouldn't be getting any more letters, and that she had COMPLETELY removed my info from their system (which apparently didn't match what they had on record, that they magically denied having every time I called about the letters).

So, the next week I was happy to see that no more letters came from GE MONEY or LOEWS FINANCIAL. However, at this time they started in with the harassing phone calls. So, I had finally gotten the letter issue handled and they started calling me instead. The issue I have here is that I gave them my phone information so they wouldn't call me, and then I started getting calls, so it was easy to assume that they had started using the information I gave them to continue to harass me for a debt that isn't even owed by me, or anyone I know. I nicely requested each time they called me that they review their notes on the account and that they kindly see that I stop getting these types of calls, and that it was getting pretty old after having received an average of 4 calls a day to my cell phone over the course of the week. Each time I got a new rep who called me, I told them the same thing, and was as polite as I could be (not my typical reaction to these mistakes, but I was trying to be nice). Each time I was assured that my information was out of their system, and that they have no record of me in it, and that I wouldn't be receiving any more calls to my cell phone. At that time, I was under the impression that things were handled and that I wouldn't be getting any more calls. Not so lucky...

The next week, and weekend. I was again surprised (getting harder though since now nothing would surprise me from these people) to get another call, this time it was on my home phone, which I don't even give out or use for any reason. The other funny thing, is that my phone bill for my house isn't even in my name, it's in my roommates name. I was literally steaming as I was trying to spend Valentines Day with my sweetheart and during our movie, the damn COMCAST caller id kept popping up saying it's GE MONEY calling. Arggg. At this point I had had enough from these people, and felt like it was not borderline harassment anymore, but was now full-fledged harassment. I immediately phoned the number that was calling. I asked to speak with a supervisor, got a new person, asked to speak with their supervisor. When I finally got to the person who told me they were as high as I could go, I explained what was happening (basically everything I wrote above) and that I was not happy at this point about the way this matter was being dealt with. I then told the rep that if I got even ONE MORE call, period, that I was going to write reviews and pursue the harassment by any means necessary including via my State's Attorney General (Rob McKenna), the Better Business Bureau (BBB), the FTC and Online through review sites, blogs, forums, Twitter, Youtube, etc. and any other way I could find. She nicely listened to my rant and assured me that AGAIN, FOR THE TENTH TIME, that I WOULDN'T receive any more calls, either on my cell or at home. And that after 30 minutes I FOR SURE wouldn't be getting any more calls to any of my numbers. She also attempted to transfer me to the Fraud Dept. so that I could have them investigate the matter form their end. I am not sure why she suggested that, but figured any one I could get to remove my information on their end would be better than taking their word for it. So, during the transfer I got cut off, had to phone back and wait forever to get back where I was. Finally got through and turns out the Fraud Dept isn't even open on weekends. I decided to give them one more chance at this point and went on with my Valentines Day. Did not get any more calls thank heavens.

First thing on Monday, I phoned the Fraud Dept. to follow up with what the rep and I had spoken about on Sunday. I got on with a very nice gal at the Fraud Dept. that was nice and seemed very helpful. She informed me that it wasn't Fraud, that it was a mix up due to the fact that they skip trace for information that may or may not match information they have on record for their accounts. She kept using the word skip trace. To me this whole scenario seemed weird. And had never had anything like that happen before in my 28 years. She also assured me that my info would be cleared on her end, and that I shouldn't be getting any more calls, unless they run another skip trace and end up with my information again. I told her that wasn't acceptable, and if they were going to use random information like that, that they needed to have a way of removing information that was deemed to be invalid for their actual account holder, that way, people like me wouldn't be getting harassed like I had been. She said she couldn't do anything and that she had removed my information and that I need not worry about calls.

Less than 30 minutes later, on Monday I got another call from GE MONEY and LOEWS FINANCIAL on my cell phone. "Are you kidding me?" I asked. Needless to say, I was not nice to the last person, I told them that this call was the straw that broke it for me, and that I was going to follow through with my promise to report them, review them, and plaster my story all over the Internet. So, that's what I'm doing. I usually don't even write reviews online, nor do I have time to do such things. I just really feel like this is all wrong and that if I don't speak up it might continue to happen to me, and others out there.

If you find yourself in a similar situation with GE MONEY and LOEWS FINANCIAL don't wait as long as I did to start speaking up. Seriously, I tried to be nice and it doesn't cut it with these collection people. If I were you, and had it to do over again, I would have reported it to my State's Attorney General, BBB, FTC and all over the Internet from the beginning. Take my work for it, the squeaky wheel tends to get the grease.

This is the crookedest company I have ever dealt with in 60 years. I have an A-1 credit rating which shows all payments made within 30 days. This company held my payments, which were made 7-10 days before the due date. They charged me 4 late fees of $40.00 each, all financing fees to the tune of $400.00, and they put my checks through electronically and destroyed them so there is no proof of date written. All for $700.00. I almost paid more in their charges than the orignal bill.

GE Money Bank online download access

I am trying to set up online access to download my Gap Card transactions into Quicken. Gap Card's online website offers this feature, but every time I try to download manually, nothing happens. Furthermore, Quicken keeps offering me to set up online download access through GE Money's website, but when I go to GE Money's website to add an account, it does not recognize my Gap Card number as a valid account; therefore I cannot create a download username and password. So I can only manually enter transactions into Quicken. Is anyone else having this problem, and is there a fix?
Thank you.

GE Money Bank the worst company i've ever had to deal with.

I went to a chiropractor that handed out Care Credit as a way to pay for everything. Care Credit put my balance on two seperate accounts instead of one, mailing them at different times, making it very difficult to keep track. Not only can I not speak to anyone that is willing to help, but they actually have Care Credit policies to prevent the employees from helping customers in any way (APR's, Bureau Complaints...everything). It is impossible to speak to anyone; they are all cold, aggressive and don't care about anything but making money in ANY way possible.

GE Money Bank Using My Cell Phone for Communications

I got a PayPal Plus credit card some time back through GE Money Bank, because PayPal would not allow me to use the Visa credit card I share with my wife. I have used it twice for small eBay Purchases. Yesterday I received an email from GE Money Bank stating that they and their business partners will begin using my cell phone for future communications, and that keeping the account after March 15th constitutes my agreement to these terms. Basically they can run up my cell phone charges for their benefit and sales pitches.

I am in the process of closing this account, and sent a copy of their email to our Indiana Attorney General. I am not sure that this is legal. It certainly is not ethical. They could start bombarding my cell phone with hundreds of calls and thousands of text messages, and I would have to pay for it.

GE Money Bank Billing cycle date

I would like information on where I can field a formal compliant against GE Care credit service. I have a problem every month since I have gotten this account which is ridiculous. This is the only account in which the billing cycle changes every month ranging from the 12th thru 15th. Every month I process the payment through my bank and GE conveniently never gets the payment by the due date in order to charge me a late fee. I complained last month and they remove the fee. Just when I think things are back on track here goes another late fee because the damm due date changed again. I call care credit and they refuse to give me a credit, the reps where rude to me on the phone and refuse to give me credit for something that is not my fault. I will be filling a complaint with the Better business Bureau and I plan on going to the news or anybody that can help me find out what is going on with this company. I just lost my job and I can’t afford to be paying out any additional money to GE every month. I have had other GE account and I have never had these types of problems

GE Money Bank Dishonest/ Worst Customer Service Ever Experienced

I just had a huge altercation with them on the phone. I was on hold with a so called "escalated specialist" Upon answer the phone she was very rude. I was very polite to her. after giving my account information to her, I began to explain what the situation was. As I was explaining to her the wrong doing on behalf of GE Money, she rudely continously began to interupt me. I asked her to allow me to finish before interupting me. Can you belive she then started to yell at me. I am so frustrated and upset now. I've had nothing but the worst customer service I've experienced in my life with GE Money!

What really can be done?
I guess we need to try and beat them at their own so called "GAME." Im at nearly a 30% rate with them. My goodness I might as well go to a loan shark. Shouldn't that kind of rate be Illegal?
Well what I did is just paid off the sum of what I owe, in hopes to get rid of this tromendous hedache.

Oh and let me mention, they have charged me over $200 in fees, not to mention a $35 fee from my bank cause they made an unauthorized withdrall from my acct. Wich after nearly two weeks now they have been unable to explain!

Some one please shine some light on this!

I had a very similar experiene today with the "escalated specialist" and she hung on me. I explained that 2 months ago, we went through the exact same procedure and it did not work that time. We have tried to set this up as an auto payment online. When I log in to our GE Money USA account, and go to payment, it shows the routing number last 4 digits and the account number last four digits from our checking with the other numbers replaced with asterisk (*). Customer service says our account number only shows there are only 8 total numbers in our account number in their records yet on the payment page it shows we have a 10 number account (6 asterisks and 4 numbers) which is correct. So they submit the wrong number to our bank and it is returned to GE and then GE charges us a $39 returned check fee. She just said to re enter the account number again. I explained that we went through the same procedure 2 months ago and it didn't work. She said "Just do what I say" and then hung up on me.

In the last 2 months, they have charged us an additional $93.13 in returned check and other late payment fees on a supposedly a 2 year free interest account.

I think there system is a scam to make money and they intentionally submit wrong account numbers to make money. And this is the first time I ever had a customer service person hang up on me.

GE Money Bank Credit

My husband and I needed a set of four tires for his truck. The current ones won't pass inspection so we can't get a current inspection sticker. We've tried to find decent used tires but haven't been able to yet. He needs this truck to go to work every day.

The cheapest we've been able to find are $600 (out the door) for a set of four. We didn't quite have the whole $600. We had $300 cash available. We tried to get $300 credit at Pep Boys and Discount Tire. They both use GE Money Bank.

We were refused and were told "We haven't seen them giving credit to ANYONE lately!" We don't have the best credit in the world but it's not that bad either. GE Money Bank got a government bail-out (OUR money) and they are on my black list from now on, whether the economy improves or not.

We weren't asking for a private jet, or to advertise our business on the side of the Super Bowl for $5 jillion trillion. We asked for a $300 loan for 4 tires to go back and forth to work.

So Ge Money Bank, you know where you can go.

I went to pep boys and had $700.00 + work don’t to my blazer. had $900.00 +left on credit. statement was only 2 weeks old. went to swipe my card and was denied. I called the # on the back of the card and it said I only had just over $100.00. didn’t know what was going on. I called them the next day and they said they lowered my credit limit. I went to pep boys on the 22 nd went to pick up my blazer on the 23 rd . ge money says they sent a letter out to me. Did not get it. I waited until I got off work and called again. Talked to a supervisor. And asked when they lowered my credit. and he said it was the 22 nd. The same day I took my blazer in. isn’t that funny. I no longer own my 1997 blazer thanks to ge money bank. Some one else is enjoying the work I had done to it now. I Have bad credit now due to ge money and had to go to court. Thanks a lot you bunch of f****** at ge money. The government bailed your ### out and you screw me. Needless to say pep boys lost a customer thanks to ge money. I will not step foot into a pep boys. I know it is not pep boys fault but that’s life. Not only that but they don’t sell bicycle parts. that’s what I have to ride now. I hope who ever decided to do this to me rots in hell.

I also hold a card with GE Money Bank. I have been systematically closing all my accounts with banks that have received bailout funds. With this in mind, I researched GE Money Bank...

As an FYI:

GE Money Bank is the US credit card issuer under General Electric (GE) Capital who taps funds from the Federal Reserve Bank of NY (FRBNY)(http://www.iht.com/articles/2008/11/23/business/morg24.php). The FRBNY has had $20 billion dollars committed to them through the Troubled Assets Relief Program (TARP or the "bailout"). However, the FRBNY has not spent any of that money...

And, as of mid-February, GE Capital had NOT recieved any TARP funds (bailout money) at all! So for now, I am keeping this card.

Best wishes for safe banking!

Interesting comments and thanks for sharing. I hold 2 credit cards with GE, one is Lowe's Home Improvement and the other is Paypal Buyer Credit. I have never been late with a payment or over limit on either and have had them for 5-7 years. I recently received letters stating that my credit limits were reduced (twice for Paypal in the last 6 months, even though I hadn't used it). The bad thing is that they reduced my limits to the remaining balance amount, so to the credit agencies, it looks like they are maxed out, which instantly reduces my credit score. Needless to say, I paid them off with my tax return. I will keep them simply because there is no annual fee and they actually add to my long term credit reporting, which again, can impact my score. Otherwise, I would tell them to shove it. If this is how they treat their good customers, maybe you should be grateful you were spared doing business with them! I hope your husband managed to get some decent tires without the help (horror) of GE!

duh. all you had to do is put a stop payment on your checks before the company cashed them. Call and speak again with a supervisor, asking people on here is a waste of time.

GE Money Bank Change in credit terms

I purchased a mattress from Sleepy's with a contract of interest free paymnets for 48 months. I signed a contract for 48 equal payments. GE bank billed me for much higher amount. When called, after 30 plus minutes of wait the associate informed me that the account was not set up right. I will have t wait for a manager to fix it. I waited 15 minutes and had to hang up. In th next call, after 40 minutes of waiting, I was informed to go back to Sleepy's to get this resolved. They are billing based on terms sent to them by Sleepy's.

GE bank would not give me a copy of the contract I had signed and instead gave me a pre-printed contract with diffrent terms. They would not even allow set up of auto deduction from my account. Basiclaly this is a bait and switch, extremly poor customer service, and preditory lending, wating for one day's delay to jack up the rate to 22%. The first and last time I will deal with GE Bank or Sleepy's.

I received a letter today that our Lowe's card had been closed. We have been Lowe's customers for years and always paid off our balances well ahead of time. It's not like we need to use the card all of the time, but I guess if you don't carry a balance, you're not valuable to them.

Our credit report will reflect that the account was closed by the guarantor which will impact it negatively, even though we were never deliquent. This is a travesty. It's difficult enough to maintain a good credit score with the current economic climate, then when companies like this piece of resort to tactics like this, consumers are being punished for GOOD payment practices. Of course, we're at their mercy and there's absolutely nothing we can do about it.

Word of advice to all consumers...do not do business with stores using GE Money Bank as their guarantor for credit accounts. You will ultimately wind up regretting it if you do. If you are doing business with them, pay off your accounts and close them before they have a chance to close them for you. Your credit score will take a hit, but not as badly as when they close them.

GE Money Bank Charges in Error & Fradulent-EXORBITANTLY HIGH INTEREST RATES

I bought two lap tops from Peachtree and GE Money Bank is the finance company-what a total joke--I have been paying more than the minimum payment for over two years and only $400 has been paid toward the laptops--the payments are made the day that they are due (online) and late charges are shown on the bill EVERY MONTH--then you call and spend at least 90 minutes on the phone with someone from a foreign country trying to get it taken off. A horrible company!

GE Money Bank Fraud account practices

BEWARE GE MONEY BANK! Someone at a Whitehall Jewelry store authorized my husband to use MY account to pay for jewelry on it. He WAS NOT listed as a user on my account. A few months later, we are getting a divorce and I see where they are sticking ME with this 2000$ bill for jewelry that he paid for using my account! I called and explained to them that I never authorized him to use this account, but they refused to transfer this account to his name, and basically told me tough, it's your problem, YOU pay for it. He offered to have this debt transferred to an account for him but they refused. He took out a promotional 12 months no interest deal on the purchase, and let the 12 months expire leaving a balance, so now I am getting socked with all the intersest accrual on the account as well. The people I spoke with on the phone were both hateful and incosiderate. BEWARE GE MONEY BANK! I will never ever do business with this company again!

first. whitehall and ge money are two differnet companies. You should be mad at them not GE. plus this would be something they would have forwarded to their fraud depatment if anything. Its not GEs fault if whitehall let someone use the card. you should have contacted fraud

GE Money Bank Timely Application of Payment

Wow - what an ordeal it's been trying to make payment on our account with GE Money Bank. I told GE that an electronic payment was coming from Capital One soon and that it should post to the account either by or before the due date. The payment had not posted by the due date, but a customer service rep was nice enough to extend the due date by a few days to allow for processing delays. The two days came and went and still no payment posted. Called Capital One and they said the payment was refused by GE. Called GE and now they say "We don't accept electronic payments." Spoke to GE and they gave us an additional week grace period. Had Capital One send a paper check in the mail, confirmed with Capital One when it would go out in the mail, worst case scenario, and when we should expect it to post, and they said within one week, since it was being sent from Virginia to Orlando, FL. Check actually mailed two days early, so it had plenty of time to get to their payment processing facility and post. One week deadline came and went, still no payment posted. Called GE, rather irate, and they said, "sorry, you had until such and such a date to get this paid and you didn't. The finance charges stick." Lo and behold, right after I threatened legal action, a few hours later the payment posts to the account online. My financial advisor and I are now in the process of taking legal steps to make sure we are not liable for the $3600 in finance charges GE alleges we owe. Erik from Minnesota.

GE Moneybank is the only bank/creditcard company with which I've ever had a problem. I use a bank bill pay service: No matter how many days prior to the "payment due date" that the bank made the payment, GE Moneybank never posted it until after the due date. In September, 2009, my payment was due on the ninth. The payment cleared my bank on September 2. GE Moneybank posted it on September 17.

Talking to their customer service (Steve in New Delh) is a total waste of time.

This was for an Amazon.com Storecard. I've done business with Amazon for years. I cannot believe that they have associated themselves with this shoddy, if not illegal, business.

GE Money Bank Changes due dates to get late fees

GE Money Bank owns & services Chevron/Texaco credit card bills. My chevron bill was always due around the 20th of every month. All the sudden it was changed to the 12 then the 11 then the 10...

I cancelled the card immediately. GEMB is lurking everywhere. Check your cards!

I also had a motorhome payment with GEMB that I refinanced right away, when I was told in order to make an extra principle payment I had to send it separately and to a different address! Can you believe it! This is their way of discouraging folks from paying off a loan early. Buyer beware. I do not understand how they are getting away with this! Who can we complain to? Who regulates these institutions?

GE Money Bank Harassing calls for an account that is not ours

We have been getting phone call for three weeks from GE Money Bank trying to collect a debt that is not ours. We have received over 15 calls. Each time they are told they have the wrong person and not to call back. We did a block on our phone but they got around that. I don't know how to stop them.

GE Money Bank slow processing of payments

It takes up to 2 weeks for your payment to clear. They set low credit limits so that your month to month limit is easily exceeded. I have a Discover card by the real Discover and never have any issues, with a $12K limit. Sams lures you into a new card that pays 2%, but GE is the issuing bank...It comes with low credit limits, very slow payment posting (sets you up for excess charges & fees) and lousy customer service. The only good thing that I suggest, is to pay in person at the Club, that way you get a receipt & GE can't drag their feet in posting the payment.

I applied with Pay Pal to get a pay later account. GE Money Bank turned me down for reasons that were untrue. 1. I have never had delinquent or late payments. 2. My house is paid for; have deed. 3. Said I had too many inquiries; I received two new credit cards. This company is just plain stupid.
