Fraud
I have experienced fraud in dealing with Gear-up. I purchased a Samsung kiosk which comes in a screen + connection box.
What they send is only screen.
Upon raising a complaint about the missing box, they tried saying the price is for screen only. I produced their link through which I made the purchase. Nowhere on they could point out that it’s a screen only price. Entire catalogue and link shows picture of screen and connection box.
I would urge buyers to stay away from the fraudster company. I am taking this company legal anyways.
Laptop bought in the uae delivered with european charger
Very bad customer service. They promised to send a charger compatible to UAE but nothing received.
Their terms and conditions for the return and refund have extensive constraints (e.g. They charge you 20% of the product price if you return it even sealed). Take home lesson: Do not buy again from this company.
Ge Profile Induction Range
Our 4-5 year old induction range can no longer be left turned on. After each use we have to go to breaker box and flip stove to off. Otherwise we get an F50 error and it starts beeping. We tried numerous times calling and left call back request with no return calls. We did have a repair person come out but were told repair would be at least 1k and since GE never fixed the board issue it will just happen again. We have had this issue dince year 1 but it was sporadic then. Now if left on it happens in less than 12 hours. Highly dissatisfied customer.
Desired outcome: Replace the defective board at no cost
Hi Janet,
We are sorry for your experience but it is not with our company :) We are an online store (www.gear-up.me) with computer components based in Dubai, UAE.
I hope you will be successful in resolving your stove issue. in the meantime, we would truly appreciate if you can delete this review as it is not related to our company.
Thank you

Double-checking is the best solution in this case.
Gear-up.me protects their ownership data, a common and legal practice. However, from our perspective, this lack of transparency can impede trust and accountability, which are essential for establishing a credible and respected business entity.
However ComplaintsBoard has detected that:
- We found clear and detailed contact information for Gear-up.me. The company provides a physical address, 2 phone numbers, and 2 emails, as well as 2 social media accounts. This demonstrates a commitment to customer service and transparency, which is a positive sign for building trust with customers.
- The age of Gear-up.me's domain suggests that they have had sufficient time to establish a reputation as a reliable source of information and services. This can provide reassurance to potential customers seeking quality products or services.
- Gear-up.me has a valid SSL certificate, while Scammers can obtain a valid SSL certificate by using fake information or by using a stolen or hijacked domain. In some cases, they may even use a certificate issued to another legitimate website.
- Several positive reviews for Gear-up.me have been found on various review sites. While this may be a good sign, it is important to approach these reviews with caution and consider the possibility of fake or biased reviews.
- We looked up Gear-up.me and found that the website is receiving a high amount of traffic. This could be a sign of a popular and trustworthy website, but it is still important to exercise caution and verify the legitimacy of the site before sharing any personal or financial information
Monitor - b grade at best
Bought a quite expensive monitor - but on arrival the bezel was wonky and the picture had a dark shadow in the centre. Contacted them but they wont simply replace - they want to claim on the manufacturer warranty! What after a few days?! They have no returns policy - if its broken when delivered its your problem and not theirs. Dont buy anything from these guys that is expensive. They want pictures and videos and then they decide and then they will contact the warranty people etc... A good company should simply replace within a week of delivery. Really shoddy... Considering that the things they sell are high priced items avoid at all costs.
Dear Stuart,
Thank you for your review and for providing valuable feedback. We are sorry that you are experiencing an issue with your monitor and we are here to help.
Please note that our return policy is available on our website (https://gear-up.me/returns-exchange). In case the product is DOA or broken on arrival we proceed with the replacement. Later reporting of the issue (as in your case) falls under Warranty Claim and then it has to be forwarded to the manufacturer’s service center to be evaluated to exclude CID (Customer Induced Damage).
We are always taking care of the warranty claim and urging our partners’ service centers to resolve the warranty claim as soon as possible and in favor of our customers.
Given that you didn't want our customer service to proceed with warranty claim we assume the issue is resolved now. Feel free to contact us anytime in the future as you have 2 years warranty which we provide to all of our products.
Thank you for your understanding.
Have a great day.

Gear-up is just scam
Bought a mouse from this site and it arrived in a terrible condition and was completely broken. I was shocked when I opened the package and saw what happened with my mouse. I contacted Gear-up customer care and they said they'll ship me a replacement. I did not believe them because that was too good to be true, and I was so right. Next time I contacted them they claimed they already shipped another mouse and said it'll be here any time soon. That never happened. Unfortunately Gear-up is just scam, don't buy from them.

They refused to repair defective items
I will never again order from the website www.gear-up.me. I bought some items from them, but the seller decided to fool me. I received the defective items. Nothing worked. I contacted the online chat agent, but he refused to take these items back for the change or repair. He told me that their technicians would be able to repair these things. It was really unexpectedly and inappropriate for such big company.
They still haven't sent me new graphic card
I ordered graphic card from the company www.gear-up.me. I got it on time, but it was defective and of course nothing worked. I returned it back to the seller, but this scammer started to ignore me and hasn’t provided any help at all. It was 3 months already since I have returned the order, but still no sign of the new graphic card. Total fraud and awful customer services. Spread this info.
Agents and seller don't help
I bought processor from www.gear-up.me. I got all confirmation info and receipt, and the delivery was on time, but the seller provided damaged processor and I thought that no one checked it. I spoke with online chat agent and sent them emails, but they only promised to contact the manufacturer and help me to change it. I called them for several times, but they only promised to help. They are useless, so better avoid them or you will lose money. Share this info and post comments about your experience with them.
I've ordered a motherboard from them and when I received the motherboard I find out it's used motherboard so i asked them for a refund and they said when will cut 20% of the price of the product
I don't advice anyone to buy from them
Their senior contact support was acting the smartest person in the world. Who would make an excuse that their company was having a holiday that does not stated as official ones? I guess that guy will going to get stuck as an agent with that kind of mentality. Just admit that they have mistaken and rectify the issue rather than making a preschool excuses.
Their advertisement are lies, specially "the ordering schedule of Wednesday and Thursday no later than 5 PM".
Should have order using my credit card not by cash and cancel it, to give them a hard time asking for the bank charges.
They will not going to learn if they could always get away with their mistake using preschool excuses.
I suggest everyone to find another seller.
BEWARE when you are buy stuffs from www.gear-up.me, it's ok if the item you bought have no defects. but if it is defective then sorry to tell you their technicians are amateurs.
I was convinced by the advertisement on their website and seems the feedback's from their Facebook account are nice but here's what happened:
I bought Gigabyte Brix (BXBT-1900) and Corsair Sodimm Ram (CMS08GX3M1C1333C9) from their website. For 6 days it was working perfectly fine (I'm using it as my home theater pc) but on the 7th day when i turned it on there was no display, all is black.I contacted their costumer support and they gave me instructions to troubleshoot it (tried different HDMI, VGA cables, tried different monitors and even tried different Rams) and I did what they told me but to no avail, there was no display at all. Finally they told me to send it back to them so that they can check the items.
After a week they emailed me and told me that the Ram that I purchased from them is not compatible for Gigabyte Brix because it is a 1.5v and the Ram needed for that device is only 1.35v, they gave me a link from their website and told me to buy that new Ram and they suggested to sell my old Ram to some online "buy and sell" site (www.dubizzle.com).I was hesitant to buy because from Gigabyte website, the Ram needed for that device is a 1.35v-1333mhz-8gb max..the one they suggested is 1.35v-"1600mhz" 8gb Ram. I asked them why and they told me that based on their experience it is working well and it's hard to find that (1.35v-1333mhz) ram. I told them ok, just send me back my items and I will be the one to find from the local computer shops in our area, they told me that I will be the one to pay the courier (from sending the items to them to sending it back to me) and I told them ok no problem.
So I went to 3 local computer shops and found a compatible Ram and I purchased it and have it tested but still no display at all, one of the guy from the shop asked me to let him check my Old Ram only to found out that that Old Ram is fully compatible with Gigabyte Brix. I called Gear-up.me again and speak to MR. MICHAL and he said that he don't care who told me that is was a compatible ram cause "ACCORDING TO HIM" in the manufacturer's info it is a 1.5v ram. and I said to him why even if we tried the new ram I purchased still there is no display? He told me to send it back to them including the new ram and they will check. I contacted Corsair Company and asked them what are the specs of that old ram and they told me it is 1.35v..WOW. I was so pissed off with Mr. Michal. I called him back but he will not talk to me anymore instead another guy talked to me, I told him that i will not send the new ram cause the old ram was fully compatible with the Gigabyte Brix and that Brix needs to be replaced.
Recently I also contacted Gigabyte Company and they also told me that my items are fully compatible with each other..
Very incompetent "IT GURUS" as advertised on their website...I don't trust Gear-up.me anymore..Such a waste of money and time.
Now I'm waiting for their replacement.Hopefully.
My advice is that, as much as possible go to a local computer shop. It's up to you to decide. BUY ON YOUR OWN RISK.
I had the same experience with ... a gpu card that is now acts as a very expensive rock ... they refused to admit that the product needs replacing and kept telling me its software issue ... i lost over 700$ because of them
