quarter panel for chevy trax 2014
My vehicle was rear ended on the drivers side on June 8th 2017. So I immediately took it to the body shop next day for repairs. They ordered the parts needed. It has been 3 months since the part was ordered and apparently it is not available. So here I am driving a damaged car and still paying for it. The body shop did fix the lights and signal, patched it up with duct tape when I was going on holidays at end of July, because up until that point I was driving a rental. I was to be mindful of the kms, which also limited my activities in the summer. I am just very disappointed and this is the first time ever I have purchased a Chevy model, and I regret it if there are no parts to replace the damaged one. Or if it takes this long to have parts shipped to auto body. I have never encountered this in my whole life.
customer service, disrespect, unfairness
Purchased my car from freedom dodge I have been taking my car to rod Hatfield. Numerous times I have complained about hesitation and jerking. Nothing was found but now that I'm out of warranty they find the reason. Contacted gm and no help at all actually the senior rep was very rude and disrespectful with a attitude problem. She told me it will not get fixed. She then stayed rod Hatfield wasn't going to fix it but I was later told from rod Hatfield that she said well since she didn't buy it new or from us we are not going to fix it. I've had this problem since 2014 and my car is a 2014. Gm what a rip off. My lawyer will be on this. Thanks for the 20 trips there just to be told nothing was wrong but now since I have to pay out of pocket you've been able to find the problem. What a joke and rip off
Rip off
a. c. compressor
I have a 2014 Chevy Silverado and I am beyond frustrated with my AC. For over a year now, I have had problems with my AC, and recently my compressor froze up and melted my belt. As I have come to find through research, this is a common and widespread problem with the 2014 Silverado. I am actually a little confused as to why GM hasn't issued a recall for this since the newer trucks have a newly designed hose because it was discovered by GM there was a flaw in the design. If that doesn't warrant a recall, I don't know what does. This is my 5th Chevy truck, and may be my last if you won't fix this problem for me despite being out of warranty.

front plastic bumper on 2013 tahoe
Need to know if need this little plastic piece of bumper?
I have replaced the narrow plastic front bumper on my 2013 Tahoe twice, once it hung up on the snow and again on the curb and now it is off again after having to cross a ridge of gravel that had to be crossed because of road work, The bumper is just too low. I owned two other Tahoe's and never had this problem. Just wondering if it is really necessary to have it on there anyway. I have seen several vehicles without that little plastic piece of bumper,

I just purchased this vehicle in Feb. of this year and it has 2 overhead dvd players, well the problem is that i can`t see out the rear view mirror when the dvd players are down and this is a serious safety issue, i just got back from a summer vacation trip and nearly wrecked twice due to this problem, i have 3 children and that is why we wanted one with dvd players, did not know this would be a problem when purchasing or i would not have bought this vehicle, is there anything GM can do about this problem before i take any further.
corvette service
I have a Corvette that is under warrantee and has 4300 miles on it it seems it does not recognize the Farb The car will not start sometimes. I went to the dealer where I bought the car and they tested the remote and said the battery in the fob was working. So it may be a computer problem. They told me that I might not be able to bring the car in till October. I asked them if this was a joke. I've had nine corvettes and I've never had a problem servicing them. I asked what happens if it doesn't recognize the fob which is indicated on the dashboard I'd be stuck. They told me I should call roadside assistance and what are they going to do bring the car to your dealership and it will sit there for two weeks or longer. This is crazy. I also called another dealership and they told me they were backed up and their tech could not look at it till Sept. 6th. I called Chevrolet complaints and they gave me a case number and told me a supervisor would call me within 24 to 48 hrs. That was last Thursday, by Monday nobody called me so I called and the person who took the call told me the supervisors name and tried to contact her but was unsuccessful and said she would call me later that day for sure, he said that this was not right. Nobody has called me yet and it is the next day at 1 in the afternoon. I have never seen this ever before with any car I've bought and I must have bought fifty new cars in my life. I can't believe a company like General Motors would let its dealerships to operate like this. A new car under wars tee can't get it serviced especially from the dealership it was bought from . You can call me at [protected] and the name is Steven Fierstadt and my case number is 8-[protected]

service complaint
I am disturbed owner of a chev cruze. CX30 WR GP which has never missed a service. I used to service my vehicle at Germiston Branch which is now closed. My last service was on the 28:06:2017. A few weeks later I noticed that there were some oil leakages on the floor in the garage. But they were not that much. I also noticed I switched my heater on there was a funny burning smell coming through. I will switched if off. Last week I noticed that there was some smoke coming from the bonnet to the left side of the car. I then asked some guy who was selling in the street to confirm because it was small funny it was not that obvious. He said no he does not see anything it must be the exhaus of the car that was in front of me. Last night when I came home it was at night and my head lights were on and I notice this again. A thinly smoke coming out one the left hand side of the bonnet. I then pulled in the garage, I openned the bonnet and saw that the oil was actually burning hence the was smoke. The oil is leaking on top of the oil cooler but due to the heat it then burn and create a smoke. This morning before going to the nearest market. I went to the garage asked the guy to check the oil he found that the oil is low but fine. It is not that low and is clean. I told him I wanted to check it cause I know the car is leaking oil and he also saw where it was leaking oil. Then I asked him to check my water. He then realised that the water inside the water bottle was dirty. Then upon further investigation they confirmed that the oil has some came into the water bottle. They advise new to go see the mechanic. I told him the story, he checked oil reservoir he confirmed that there is enough oil, he opened the one the caps on the engine, he saw the oil inside the engine is as clean as the one inside the reservoir meaning it's not mixed with water. He then said this means that top casket is not blown or affected. He advised that either the oil cooler is faulty or the oil that has been leaking onto it somehow went the wrong direction and caused a problem. I don't expect such from GM motors as I service my car every time. It has never missed any service. This is totally unacceptable that the car would leak oil after it has been to a a service. Worst part is that the Germiston Branch is now closed. My grief is this time I will not allow GM motors get away with this.
My previous car same branch I had a rope astra. Which was serviced there and one day the cambelt gave in before time. They got some bloody engineer who gave a bias report to say my cambelt was damaged by some foreign object like it is been chewed by rats or something. I told them my car does not park parks inside the garage. They got away with murder and this time I am not.going to be [censor] by GM motors.
I am taking my car in tomorrow at city deep and I am not going to let them get away with their incompetence this time.

ferguson superstore on broken arrow ok.
All they are is a whole bunch of liers. After waiting for over ten months for them to fix the damage that was on my new pickup when I bought it from Ferguson Superstore. And them contiueing to refuse to do the right thing and fix it. It took me reporting them to BBB and giveing tthem a whole bunch of bad reviews on the internet for them to fix the damage. But when I was there today to pickup my truck the sales manger Mr. Tipton kept trying to talk me into getting back on the internet. And give them some good reviews I told him no that I was not going to happen do to the fact that I was made to wait ten months to get what should have been fixed begfore I bought it back on 11/03/16. So he started to cuss me out and telling me if he new that I wasnt going to change my reviews he wouldnt have fixed it in the first place. Also there is another thing that I was discusing with the GM. Named lisa is that this dealer ship is not sending out the customer reviews that they are suppose to send out after to by a car our truck from them when they no it is not going to be a good one like in my case because I did not get one, but that way they can keep a good score so that you will give them all the dealer insentives but as far as I am conserned they dont desurvie anything but to he put out of buisness. As soon as I can I am going to sale my pickup and never by a General Motors product
2003 saturn vue
IN I bought a 2003 saturn Vue after 3 months my car would not drive . I took my vechile to a transmission shop and I was told that my transmisson was nonworking. I was informed by searching the web that the Saturn vue 2003 had a recall on the UTI transmission. I than contacted GM and i was told that I could trade my car in and that GM would pay $5, 000 towards a new car. I at the time still paying a car note and attending school could not afford to trade my car in. I was also offer my GM a second option, Which that was to take my car to a GM dealer to have my car checked and pay a fee again at I that time again I was unable to afford to pay for a GM to check my car as I was still paying car notes on this vechile and paying for school. The orginal call to Gm was in June 2011, / On May 11, 2017 After compeleting school and now being fanicially able to pay for a check .I called GM and I was given info. that my car now has a recall on the ignition, that i had no charge for repairs, I was also told that since time had past, the car had never been driven since my 1st inquiry that a higher authority had to approve transmission coverage, . I recieved a return call saying that both gnition and transmission was approved and i was given a shop Clay Cooley was nearest my home that shop would handle all repairs. My car has been at this shop for 3 months waiting on a ignition switch to be order before repairs would get started on the transmission, Now that the ignition has been replaced GM is not repairing the claim they honored with no reason and no notes of any kind this has caused my car to now have a large fee for storage due to the fact that this work was done in a timely manner by dealership . I would like to know why was it approved and now disaprove in time frame { approved for repairs May, 2017-disapproved August, 2017 this has placed my family now in a bind Now we are having to pack to go live in a shelter and we I believe that this manner was created as joke to my life that really hurts
Ok, so let me get this straight. You bought a 14 year old car from a company that has been out of business for over 10 years. You drove this used car for 3 months and then had issues with it. You're lucky GM wanted to help you at all. Remember, when buying a used car, it's buyer beware. Do research before you purchase a car. Saturn has been out of business since 2003. Yes, GM is still around, but Saturn, and parts for Saturn vehicles, are becoming hard to find because THEY DON'T MAKE THEM ANYMORE.
2012 chevy cruze
84, 000 miles didn't even have the car a year and it needs a new transmission? From what I've been reading this is obviously a problem with Chevy Cruz and I am totally disgusted and dissatisfied in this purchase. The brakes squeak which is another issue and it sucks in snow. This car is garbage do not buy! Not enough words how's this this car should be under the lemon law and chevy should be responsible for the replacement of a transmission!
2011 Cruz manual tranny under [protected].00 new clutch. Was told after 20+ years of driving a stick I didn't know how to drive it properly! So I guess all the complaints I have read on Cruz automatic and manual transmission problems means there are a whole lot of people who don't know how to drive!
Just sayin...
think that's bad mine only had 47, 000 miles on it and did not even have its first trans fluid oil change
power steering loss in 2013 cruze
On August 20th I was returning home from the store and the "service power steering" light came and I lost the power steering in the car. I took the car to the dealer and they told me that they can't replicate the event and the code was not in the computer. They have had the car for two days and can't find the problem. They told me that GM issued a bulletin that said to check the fuse and the fuse is fine. I read on the internet that GM is aware of this problem in the Cruze and Malibu and have chosen to ignore the problem rather than fixing it. Now I am stuck with a car that is extremely dangerous because I don't know when the power steering is going to fail again. How can GM allow this to happen. I will be looking to trade this vehicle in and will not ever buy another GM product,
gm pre certification program
We bought out our leased Buick 2014 LaCrosse (39 month lease) through the dealership to get better financing, but were extremely disappointed that we could not precertify out car and qualify to receive the extra benefits from the GM precertification program that expires on August 31, 2017.
http://www.gmcertified.com/
We feel that previous owners of a Buick Lacrosse should also qualify for GM's precertification program, even if they are buying their used car, and that these owners are unfairly being omitted from the program and its incentives.
I also have concerns about products not endorsed or sold by GM, as the Zurich Shield paint protector (a paint sealant) and independent extended warranties as well.
rust
For the last 35 years I have always purchased new GM vehicles from Oldsmobile, Buick and Chevrolet. My most recent vehicle is a 2013 Malibu Eco with @ 16, 000 miles on it right now. I was waxing it recently and noticed the paint bubbling on the rocker panel below the driver side door. I took it to the dealer and was told that it is rusting from the inside out and that it was not covered under the 100, 000 mile warranty.
For a second opinion I took it to two reputable collision shops in the area and was told that it was rusting from the inside and that it was a manufacturing defect. This on a car that is less than 4 years old and with 16, 000 miles on it.
Needless to say, I am very disappointed in the quality of this vehicle to have it in this condition so soon.
My wife will be needing a car in the few years but I will have to think twice before ever purchasing another GM product if the quality of manufacturing is lacking on your vehicles.
I am attaching a picture of the rocker panel for you to see.
I just had to fix my driverside rocker from the rust. What do you think has caused this to happen?
2010 chev impala
I would like to take this opportunity to say that I will never own another chevrolet product. I have never been so disappointed in a vehicle or a service department as I have been with my car and the service I received from spence in thomasville ga.
I purchase a 2010 chevrolet impala (Otherwise known as a p. O. S.) 09/01/2011 with 36, 601 miles. Since that time I have spent approximately $7, 300.00 in repairs. Several of which are duplicated repairs.

• lift handle on passenger seat will not stay on – adjusted retaining clip and reinstalled
• alignment out of manufactors specs – 4 wheel alignment
O my cost $582.97 -
06/14/2013
• check engine light coming on – replaced evap vent solenoid and cleared codes
• bumping noise in area of glove box when the vehicle is switched off – replaced recirculation actuator - recalibrated

• campaign – passenger seat repair – harness repair per campaign – 36110
• tire sensor indicator lights coming on – replaced tpm sensors and reset
O my cost - $1, 343.00
06/28/2017
• whining noise - service department stated steering gear leaking and needed to replace steering gear - again - customer refused since this has already been brought in for this same thing. – topped off with power steering fluid. Estimated cost for this would have been$700.00
All of this has come to a total cost of $7, 219.76, which is absolutely ludicrous. If this is an example of the type of vehicles you build I feel sorry for anyone else that purchases one.
The common worker cannot afford to own one of your vehicles, especially at the rate your dealerships charge for parts and labor, especially when you have to have the same thing repaired twice. I researched parts and found that the dealership charged me more than double what you can buy from the gm facility direct. I was told that if I purchased the part from gm, the part would not be warranted. That is just wrong since it is coming from a gm factory.
I have kept my car serviced and I am so disappointed in this car and now all chevrolets. There is no reason a car should have these kind of repairs. My concern now is, how many more repairs will I have to endure
Again, I cannot say how disappointed I am and I plan on telling everyone that will listen to not purchase a chevy product. According to your website you say “you pride yourself on ensuring an exceptional ownership experience”. I guess that means that you are happy, because your customer is definitely not happy.
my 2011 chevy camaro needs a 3rd engine!!
I bought my car July of 2014. I put 4 thousand miles and 1 year and 4 months latter my engine started to knock. It was replaced with a new engine. Now not even 2 years latter and only 9thousand miles my engine needs to be replaced again for the same reasons. The dealership will not fix it. The "new " engine is not under warranty. Chevy/GM do not stand by their work or give the good coustomer service they say the provide.
2017 chevrolet cruze
To whom it may concern,
I have been speaking with Lenasha at [protected] ext. 591-3689 regarding my 2017 Chevrolet Cruze. I have had nothing but issues with this vehicle since I purchased it in mid-February 2017. In April the key fob was not recognizable in the vehicle; therefore, it left me stranded until I had to get a relative to get the spare from my house so I could get the car started to take to the dealership. The dealership had to replace the entire key fob. Then approximately 3 weeks ago, I had to take the vehicle back in to the dealership because it was leaking and cause a stain in the headliner. The dealership had someone reseal the windshield and ordered a new headliner. I then took the vehicle back in for the headliner to be replaced around July 31st and explained to the service department that it was still leaking as I was sitting in drive-thru during rain storm (windows were up) and my fiancé and myself both felt rain drops on us. The dealership stated they would look into while they had the headliner replaced. I got my car back on August 9th. Once I got home around 7:25-7:30pm, my fiancé and I looked over the car and noticed that it was dirty from where the work had been done, I had scratches on several areas of the vehicle (moldings around both seat belts, the mirror area, the posts between front doors/windshield, the dash, the headliner has snags in it, molding on driver side windshield had been broken so that it will not clip in place, scratches on outside vehicle near windshield, grease stains on headliner and seats). I took several pictures and then called the dealership the next morning. I spoke with Wanda Allen at Hubert Vester Chevrolet and I called Lenasha back to explain what was wrong. I requested that Chevrolet buy back the vehicle since I was having so many issues with it and was told that it could not be done. I even tried possibly trading it in but was told that that was not an option either unless I had a lot of money to put down. I am very disappointed that your company cannot help me get out of this vehicle since it is obviously a problem vehicle. I have always been very polite when dealing with your company or the dealership and my payments on my vehicle are always made on time. Even if your company cannot buy my vehicle back, it would be nice if you could at least allow for it to be replaced with a comparable new vehicle when I bought the 2017 Chevrolet Cruze. Due to everything that has been going on with my 2017 Chevrolet Cruze and how I am being treated, I have consulted with an attorney in my area to see what my rights are. I really am frustrated that I am paying for a new vehicle and am going through this with my car plus, it seems that your company cares little about their customers or doing the right thing. It has almost been a month since I have had my car due to these issues. Please do the right thing here.
Sincerely,
Connie Chenette

2010 cadillac srx
I have a 2010 SRX that only has 39, 000 mile on it. I have noticed the inside of the windows get fogged up when I wash the car and wasn't sure why. I figured moisture was getting into the car from somewhere. When cleaning out the car I pulled the weather tech mat from the passenger side and discovered that the carpet was soaked. I vacuumed out the water and started searching on the internet to see if I could find out what the problem was. I found out I wasn't the only one having this issue. The drain tubes from the sun roof come loose and allow water to come in. I am also having issues with water in the head lamps. I contacted the local Cadillac dealer to find out what could be done. They told me I would have to drop off the car, they would find out where the was was coming from and see what GM would do. Well that is what they did and found out that the drain tubes from the sun roof had came loose allowing the water to enter the car. They also said the head lamp was holding water. They said they contacted GM and told me that GM would only cover about 20% of the $1100 repair bill. I think GM should have repaired their issues at no cost. These are known problems with this vehicle. I will think twice about buying another GM product.
car dealership cheating issue
Dear GM and Chevy Customer Service representative.
I want to bring to your attention an experience that I had at one of your dealers when I purchased my vehicle last week.
I leased a 2017 BOLT LT from Silver Star Chevrolet in Thousand Oaks, California on 9th August 2017. I live in Cypress, CA and I drive 63 miles to Thousand Oaks to buy my vehicle since I had committed to the dealer. The dealer cheated me because we talked about the deal at $3500 down with $165/month payments.
Here are the 2 concerns I have
1. The never told me that $3500 down payment would NOT include the first month payment which they took from me right away
2. The tricked me and forced me into buying the lease protection plan for $825
I would have never known that I got cheated until my friend Rishi Goel lease the exact same vehicle with exact same features on 11th August 2017 from Simpson Chevrolet of Garden Grove and he got the exact same deal with first month payment included in $3500 down and also the lease protection plan was for $375 rather than $825 that I was tricked into buying.
Now that I have already bought the vehicle I am STUCK but I want you to be aware of the fact on how I was cheated so others do not get cheated the same way I did.
Regards,
A very unhappy GM and Chevy Customer.

2014 chevy cruz
I have a 2014 Chevy Cruz with a turbo on the engine. I have had nothing but problems with this car. Not even a year ago I had to take it in 4 different times due to the check engine light being on. They had to change the turbo completely due to it failing and then just a few short days later I had to take it back and they had to put a new catalytic converter and said that the bad turbo caused the catalytic converter to go out. Less than a year later I just had to take it back and have a 3rd turbo put on. Picked it up from the shop Thursday and my check engine light just came on so I am thinking it is probably the catalytic converter again caused by yet another bad turbo which will not be covered because I am now over 80k and my emissions warranty stopped at 80k. This is redicilous!
the lemon of a car that gm manufactured
Once again I'm writing to GM to file a complaint against the 2012 Chevy Cruze that was sold to me. I'm sure if you look up and Pass records you seen that I have filed numerous complaints of this car. Just last week the car had to go in because it said change the timing belt now I'm getting warning lights to change service traction control and stablitrak. What else is going to go wrong with this car or maybe I just have to die in it because it was not put together well. I've had electrical issues I've had motor issues I've had water pump thermostat issues I've had more issues with this car then somebody that's had a car for over a hundred thousand miles I had all these issues prior except for this new one. I took it in before my warranty ran out and asked the dealership to please check anything and everything that will be coming up over the next 10 to 20 thousand miles to make sure they were up to date and nothing was going to need checked or changed. All I have asked of GM other than possibly replacing the car is to extend my warranty so that if these issues arise which we kind of figured they would due to what has happened prior so that it would not cost me out of pocket to have said repairs done. All your company has done is brush me off or offered me $1, 000 off of a new car. Don't you think if I could afford to buy a new car I would have done so by now. Of all days for this to happen my father is in the hospital seriously ill my mother is homebound I took today off to try to get things situated so that she could be taken care of so I could continue to work while he was in the hospital. The car ran fine this morning no issues whatsoever I got into it after being at the hospital for a couple hours to one with all these warning lights and running very rough not only that the service engine light is blinking at me. All I'm asking of GM is to either repair the car properly with an extended warranty placed on it or to finally replace a car I will gladly take a 2012 Chevy Cruze not that I would really want one but I'm not asking for a brand new car and I don't think my request is unreasonable. I hope I do get somebody reasonable to respond to this and not the type of people that have been dealing with this before. This is one of the many cases that you should have on file I was not able to access my archived emails while on my phone except for at least this one 8-[protected]
I then got a response from an email I sent a couple days ago that somebody would get back in touch with me within 2 business days it's been two business days no response. The only thing I got was an email telling me they looked into my archive file and saw no record of it ever being serviced by a certified GM dealership. I bought the car and it is always gone into service at the same dealership which is a certified GM dealership. I'm sure even though it would be a royal pain to send a 2in file faxed over to you that the service manager there would probably be glad to do it for the 4th or 5th time.
