To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing this complaint regarding GEO Holiday and the terrible experience my family and I have had with your company. In January of 2018, we won a VIP Getaway which had an expiration date of January 16, 2019. The partner hotel we stayed at was appalling and did not meet the standards we were promised. Nonetheless, we decided to listen to your sales pitch for one of your timeshare packages. We were invited to a presentation at the Jockey Club in Las Vegas and despite our initial hesitation, we went ahead to listen to what your company had to offer. We were promised a lifetime vacation with possible savings, and were shown a 30-minute video that did not sound like a typical timeshare pitch. However, after the presentation was done, we found out that what we had purchased was indeed a timeshare. Upon carefully examining the paperwork when we returned home, we realized that this was a mistake. The timeshare we purchased will be nothing but a financial burden for us and our family. This is a huge concern for us as we have a child who has had medical issues since birth and needs the financial support. We feel cheated and misinformed by your sales agents who used their expertise in persuasive language and tactics to make us sign up for something we did not understand. The whole experience was excruciating and went on for more than three hours. We bought this timeshare for our daughter, hoping it would benefit her in the long run, but we were misled in every which way and this could potentially ruin our family's financial stability. We are tired of dealing with the way your company has treated us and feel that we have been wronged. We are at the mercy of your company to rescind the timeshare and give us our money back. We want to be done with this nightmare and move forward. If we have to keep the timeshare, this will be a financial burden that we cannot bear, and we cannot pass on to our children. We urge your company to take responsibility for the distress caused and cancel our timeshare immediately. If we do not hear back from your company by a specified time, we will be forced to take this matter further and inform others of the unscrupulous business practices of GEO Holiday.
