Great company! I had approved another company to do install of garage door opener. The other company took 30 days and did not communicate with me. I canceled this company and looked for another company and found George and Sons. They had the new opener installed within a week and they were $500 dollars cheaper than the other company. Just amazed on George and Sons response and timely service and saving $500 was a huge boost. Perhaps the other company was taking me to the cleaners.

My phone call to George & Sons was answered by a live person who was pleasant and helpful. Later, when an earlier appointment became available, I received a phone call from a person I could talk to and coordinate with. Salvador, of George & Sons arrived promptly and was immediately able to diagnose and fix the problem. Time will tell if the repair holds, but at this point I am extremely pleased with George & Sons, especially with the efficient & personable communications and the prompt, knowledgeable service. Thank you.

I called to get a quote on our garage door opener that was on the fritz. I had someone at the house the very next day. The opener itself was very old and needed to be replaced. The gentleman that came happened to have a new opener on his truck. He replaced the old one and even put a support in the door where there was a little damage. He was very friendly and also synced our other remotes and made them all work with both of our garage doors. I was very impressed and glad I had this company come to the house. Happy to stay local! Salvador was very professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and friendly. He called before he was coming out. Once he got here, he explained everything that needed to be done. How much it was going to cost and how long it would take. When he was done we opened and closed the door. It was quieter than it was before. The door ran up and down the rails very smoothly. I'm very happy with the work that Salvador did with replacing the tension spring and he lubricated the whole door system. I would highly recommend George and Sons Door Co. For any of your garage door needs.

If you value your time, your property, and your money, this is not the company for you. The doors were shipped damaged from the supplier, including a panel in the wrong color and crooked windows. The installation required 3 trips to my home (requiring me to take 3 days off work). The first visit was a total waste as the installers installed everything wrong. The second visit was to correct all the errors from the first visit, and order replacement parts. Everything was finally made right on the third visit, but I had to remind the installer of the items needing to be addressed. Very disappointing...

My garage door was (and still is) broken. A technician came out and serviced the door, but after I paid and as he was leaving, the door stopped working again. I called the technician back and he didn't seem to know what to do next. He called someone at the office and told me that I needed a new motherboard and the office would call me that afternoon to schedule an appointment. Never heard from the office, so two days later I called them and was told someone would call soon to schedule. That was two days ago and no word. So five days later, my garage door is still not working and I'm out the money I paid to have it fixed.

I am very happy with this company. It was a Saturday and I was pressed for time. They came out within a few hours. Salvador was a very pleasant, polite young man who was also very knowledgeable. He found my problem was mice had chewed through the wiring in one spot. He was able to fix my issue very quickly without requiring any new parts. He got the job done with plenty of time left for me to make my other pending appointment. Their fee was very reasonable. No extra charge for it being a weekend day. This is the second time I have used this company and both times I have been very satisfied with their response, work, personnel and price.

This was a great experience right from the start. First off, the receptionist was an absolute joy to talk with. She answered all my questions right away and was very friendly. They showed up right in time for the appointment. My technician named Ben did great work. He made the repairs very fast and my garage door is working better than ever now. Even did a few extra touches and a quick adjustment. Wonderful work. As a side note the owner came out to touch base with me. He was great and with the good experience I had with this company, I will never call anyone else for my garage door service. I highly recommend them. Fantastic. Thank you George.

A fair and competitive price BUT the 5 star is because of service before during and after the installation of garage door equipment. 1. Received e mail and verbal information on when the tech would arrive. The arrival of the installer was within 10 mins of sked time 2. The tech advised what he was going to do and proceeded to work efficiently. After installation went through operation of equipment and maintenance 3. AND then amazingly in these busy times the day after installation a George and sons technician made an appointment and came by to ensure we were pleased and double checked installation and operation were done correctly That's 5 star

From Lupy L. I'm very satisfied! I have to start with my initial phone call to George and Sons Garage doors. The lady (Angela) that took my information and made my appointment was very pleasant and helpful. Brandon was the technician that serviced my RV garage door. Brandon lubed EVERYTHING from top to bottom, tightened screws and replaced screws where needed. He tightened the drive chain and the tension springs above the door. He programmed two garage clickers and the built in one that comes with my truck. He was very conscientious, answered questions I had and was friendly. The price was very reasonable. George and Sons just became my garage door people to go to from now on. I will highly recommend them to friends and other people.

I am beyond impressed with Garage and Sons. They truly live up to their ratings. They are easily a 5 star. They are so professional and they show up when they say they will. I received a phone call prior to them arriving letting me know they were on there way. Russell arrived and was a very nice young gentleman and he went right to work and got the job done. He did everything right! Thank you so much Russell. I am super impressed as these people really do you right. They do not try and gouge you and try to get you to spend more than needed. I highly recommend them and will advise anyone if you want great service and fair prices this is the company to call to repair your garage doors. They are the best I have ever had. A+ service. George fixed our garage door that was having difficulty lifting up with the automatic motor. He was polite, courteous and professional with his work. From the professionalism of the technician to the nice demeanor of girl that answers their phone calls to schedule the appointment, my experience with this company was very positive. I have no reservations about using their services for any future garage repairs and highly recommend them to anyone else experiencing problems with their garage door. Their prices was reasonable and the quote was on point with the work done. I did not feel they tried to over estimate or charge me with their service. The scheduling process was immediate within the week and they notified me prior to their arrival. Overall great company and will definitely call again.

Salvador arrived on time. He replaced the bottom weather strip of my RV garage door. There was a bit of a gap at one end of the garage door after installing the new weather strip. He pushed the door further down and closed the gap however he used vise grips to keep the weather strip gap closed. He states because its a new weather strip it needs to stay in this position for about 48 hours so that the new weather strip basically memorizes to stay flat at this location. If I have any issues with it after 2 days I can call the office and they can come look at it. Warranty is for 3 months.Salvador was pleasant, friendly and seems knowledgeable. I've used George and Sons before. I've been pleased with the work they've done back then and today. I've recommended George and Sons to a neighbor and he too was pleased with their work. I will continue to recommend them to anyone!

Ben G, your technician arrived at my home today and I knew from the minute he arrived that this young man was top notch. He identified himself immediately and explained what he was going to do and began the work immediately. His professionalism and amazing customer service skills were something many other companies could learn a great deal from. George & Sons should be extremely proud to have a young man of his caliber working for them. He was extremely thorough in every detail of servicing our garage door. Our door works and sounds much better and we are grateful for the great job he did. Also, he presented me with his business card before he left and even gave a card to our neighbors asking them if they ever needed anything done on their garage to please give George & Sons a call. This was for the installation of 3 new garage doors. The initial consultation at our home was great, as the technician provided lots of valuable information and advice to guide us through our choices. Thankfully, we were told that honestly it may take 2 or 3 months to get the hardware owing to delays arising from COVID. Once the hardware was received, the scheduling receptionist was friendly, courteous, and easy to work with, and we got the installation started within a couple of weeks. The technician doing the door installations worked tireless and carefully all day with excellent results. He pointed out that one of the brand new panels looked like it was slightly damaged before they received it (there were about 3 small dents). and had got the office to contact the manufacturer to ship out a replacement panel to be installed later free of charge. He'll be back tomorrow to complete the installation of the openers. So far, the process has gone smoothly, the results are fabulous, and the people have all been very professional and honest.
