I would never use Giftly
I would never use Giftly. I ordered what I thought was a gift card from *** Works for a birthday gift. She could not activate it or allow her to put in a pin#. I have the card now, I was able to get a pin on it. We tried to use it a local store and it was denied twice. I called Giftly and spoke to an agent. He could tell me nothing because he said my name was not the one that ordered it. Ok, who used MY credit card to order it? I will never use these people or suggest them to anyone. I am so disappointed that I have to hand her the money instead!
These filthy parasitic createns catfished me
These filthy parasitic createns catfished me.. I needed money today, as in immediately. My mom was going to help me through to my next payday. I THOUGHT I was on HEB's corporate website. I needed the money to fill my car for the week and purchase some "get by" groceries till payday. I would have been able to do that with an HEB card sent through my e-mail. In fact, I selected the epitome because I was expecting a barcode I could scan at HEB as I thought I was getting an heb card. The gutter-filth, catfishing owners should be hung in the middle of their respective t I wn squares

I spent $100 on a gift certificate and got nothing
Scam alert. I found out about giftly from *** a way to fund gift cards for a gaming account. After two transactions they cancelled my gift card without warning even though the credit card had being approved. Dont use them .
This company should not be allowed to exist
This company should not be allowed to exist. I received one of their "Gift Cards" and it was repeatedly denied in every store (7 different stores) I tried to use it in. When I told the company they said that everything looked good on their end and they dont know why it is not working. Giftly said that they can transfer the money to my bank account or PayPal account. I dont trust the company so I wasnt going to give them my personal information so that they can steal more money. I told them to cancel my "Gift Card" and refund the sender of the "Gift Card". It was such a headache and embarrassing.

Never received email and no phone number to contact them. I emailed them and still have not heard back.
I bought a gift card for Mother's Day for my mom and today she can not even open it, I cannot, nor can either of us contact them as the site will not even pop up. The whole thing seems sketchy like now they do not even exist. Makes it as if I bought nothing for my mother, and lost money in the process. Such a scam.
Rip off. Buy gift cards directly from the vendor. Do not use ***. They hit you with a monthly service charge that erodes the gift card's value. When I activated my $100 gift card, it was only worth $70. To add insult to injury, they only covered $50 of the ***. They kept $20 back. I'll never use *** again. I'll give giftly cards back to the giver and tell them to give me cash instead.Giftly is a RIPOFF. Do not used giftly!
Giftly is a SCAM. *** is not associated with Giftly in any type of shape or form. *** does NOT accept gift cards nor given Giftly any type of permission to state or use our name. Any type of infringement or use of our company name will not be tolerated. Why are you using our business name without our permission? Please remove our business listing IMMEDIATELY !
I fear I have been ripped off!
I fear I have been ripped off! I wanted to send a Barnes & Noble email gift card to a new high school graduate and Giftly.com Took my $56 and sent nothing to the graduate. But they sure managed to charge my Costco card...I am disputing this with the credit card company and hopefully they all managed to get my money back. So the weird things that happened were that the company never sent me any sort of receipt or verification of the gift card. Even the charge on the MasterCard has no transaction number. I wonder how in looking up Barnes and Noble I was somehow routed to giftly.com? Clearly, this is nothing but a ***.

This company charged me for a gift card, sent it to the recipient, but then the card cant be used for several days. This company also advertises specific gift cards but then sends the recipient a pre paid gift card with a suggestion to use it at the restaurant I selected. I asked for a refund and they refused to refund me. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH GIFTLY!
I purchased a gift card online from Giftly, neither myself or the person I purchased the card for got an email from them.
Giftly added our business without our consent. A client of ours received a Giftly giftcard to our business, but we have NO affiliation with Giftly. We tried to call Giftly's customer service line and it doesn't even allow you to leave a message or speak to anyone, it's just an automated message that keeps repeating itself. Do not purchase anything from them!
I have used Giftly twice for Christmas gifts. I most recently purchased a $100 Giftly Gift-card and everything worked exactly as described on their website! After carefully reading the companys directions I was able to design and print my own gift card that even included the logo of my SUGGESTED restaurant. Other options included mailing a physical card directly from Giftly or sending it digitally via email. After reviewing the options (also clearly stated on the website) my friend opted to redeem the paper gift card for a regular $100 *** prepaid debit card which came in the mail in about 5 days. Other options included a direct transfer to a PayPal or Bank Account. The *** debit card was easily spent at the restaurant of his choice which happened to be the one I had suggested but it could have been spent anywhere. Admittedly, there are easier ways of giving gift cards but if you are feeling a little creative and you want to surprise someone with a gift card that is not available at your local store then Giftly is definitely a great option!I am confident I will use Giftly in the future!
This company is a total scam!
This company is a total scam! I received a giftly card a couple years ago that does not expire for 3 more years and when I tried to activate it for the first time a few days ago, all the funds had been removed! When I contacted Giftly they gave me a # for MetaBank because there was nothing they could do on their end. The # would not let me get anywhere unless I had the # on the letter I received . Of course I had no letter. When I called Giftly back and spoke to a supervisor, he could not provide me with any # to give MetaBank and told me there was nothing the could do to get my funds back! They are robbing people and need to be shut down! Of course I give them 0 stars, but it doesnt give that option!

All my material is copyrighted - and so surely it is ENTIRELY illegal for Giftly to copy my name and my details all onto their website for their profit. Furthermore, I pride myself on my good reputation as a hypnotherapist and so why is it even remotely possible by law, for this company to ride on my reputation, at the cost of my business, WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. Surely This is an illegal business practice and they should be forced to take their website down. I am sure going by the reviews i see here that everyone they have aded to their scammy website feels the same as me. Whats being done about Giftly / they have been in business for a while - untouched by the law. NO STARS for giftly - (I was forced to leave a star rating)

I thought the Giftly website was easy to use
I thought the Giftly website was easy to use. I wanted to buy a gift certificate for them to enjoy a nice Wedding Anniversary dinner in Soloman's Island, MD. I had to pick a restaurant at random, as I know this is a beautiful area but, living far away, I was not familiar with all of the restaurants there. Turns out, they had a favorite, and, the way Giftly works, they were able to go there instead, which made their dinner so much more delightful! The site was very easy to use and very efficient. I ordered in advance and asked that the certificate be delivered via email on their specific Anniversary date. No problem, right on time, it was delivered at 7 A.M. on the specified day and the kids were thanking me and making plans by 7:05 A.M.! Great service, easy to use and on time...doesn't get much better than that!
I just tried to order a special gift card for my daughter's 9 year old best friend
I just tried to order a special gift card for my daughter's 9 year old best friend. They charged $4 plus a greeting fee of $1 for a non-existent gift card. I tried to print out the card to place in an envelope for the birthday gift and there is no option. All you can do is deposit money into a bank account or PayPal account. They write that the "suggested use" is for unspecified items. You are literally paying $5 for absolutely nothing. You can just give the person money at this point or use PayPal for free, without the unnecessary surcharge. I really think this company should be sued and people should get back all of the processing fees for this scam. Not to mention for false advertising gift cards that don't exist. I think I will report it elsewhere as I am furious that a company is able to prey on people like this. It's blatantly fraudulent and shameful.

There is a listing on Giftly that is offering gift cards for our company
There is a listing on Giftly that is offering gift cards for our company. We offer medical transportation to people in wheelchairs and that are usually dealing with health-related issues. This is appearing in search content close to my actual business listing using our business name. We are not associated with Giftly and we do not offer or honor gift cards as part of our business. This will lead to existing customers or their families potentially purchasing gift cards that cannot be used. We service customers that are dealing with many health needs and the last thing they need is to spend their much needed income on a scam. Again, we have not given permission to Giftly to use our business name or extended any approval to display offers associated with our business. This company is obviously using questionable business practices to get traffic to their website.

Please do not use this company
Please do not use this company. Horrible service. I received money from a family member through giftly and somehow when I went to redeem the money, a different Paypal account already accessed the account. After relaying this to giftly, they literally said they cannot reimburse the sender due to my email being hacked and it's my fault.I should have a 2 authentication system for my email. I explained that I have protections on my email account and even a 2 step authentication and can fail with more advanced hack programs, etc. How can you have proof a customer didn't receive services and not compensate? By that logic, no bank/ CC would ever reimburse customers, victims of fraud/ scams, due to it being your fault. So disappointed, the money was needed towards a birthday gift for my child's 10 the bday. Would never recommend them to anyone. Zero care towards customers.

Fraudulent Plain and Simple
Fraudulent Plain and Simple. I was given this card for a gift for a favorite restaurant. I could not use it the night of my birthday, I had to register, wait to get a card in the mail. This took a week. Tonight decided to go to the restaurant it was for we had a lovely meal. Gave the the Giftly Card plus my AMEX to cover the $75 worth of my card and the amount over $75. Well it is only worth $60 ( who knew) they take the tip off and withhold it. So the card did not work embarrassed. The establishment said it was not accepted anywhere at any restaurant on the peninsula on which I live. Nothing but problems. I called Giftly and was told this about the tip portion which on the card it states some restaurants add up to 25%gratuity to total at authorization, that is it. This restaurant adds an 18% tip, fine with me. Advice a pathetic fraud. This card purchaser paid an $8 adm *** $83 and has worth of $60. They should not be allowed to exist.

They are not what-so-ever affiliated with ANY of the businesses on their site, nor are they selling you a giftcard to that business
They are not what-so-ever affiliated with ANY of the businesses on their site, nor are they selling you a giftcard to that business. Giftly sells cards with no meaning only to give the balance back to you (route $ back) that does not actually work at or affiliated in any way with the business for which you purchased it from.. That's if you're lucky to get your money back at all. And again, the only amount you would receive is the amount of the card you bought NOT the taxes and fees. They pull the businesses from Yelp, so therefore, if you want you can pay $1000 for a giftcard at your LOCAL PARK they will happily take your money. This is the most sure sign of the scam, if I had known this ahead of time I would not have made a purchase... You're paying to get your money returned right back to you (if you're so lucky) and giftly pockets all the fees and taxes. I don't know why the owners of this company can continually run this, proudly advertising themselves as a legit service. Need to be taken down as a top - google search result. Hoping others read reviews on here before being scammed.

DONT DO IT!
DONT DO IT!Bought this as a gift for my 83 year old father for a birthday gift to one of his favorite local restaurants. Giftly charges *** to gifter. NIGHTMARE for my dad. Took him over a week to figure out how to get the card on line. They ask for his home address, full name and other information just to register. With help, he was finally able to complete the process. Then they note it will come in the mail in two weeks. It arrives- it is a *** debit card with Giftly written on it. Once received, again he had to go through another online process to activate. Required more help! What I thought would be a convenient way to send a gift, turned into a long stressful process for him, and I for possibly losing $200.00. Once all done, he goes to the restaurant, and learns the restaurant has never seen this card before, but they run it and thankfully it goes through, just like any *** debit card would. He later tried it out at another restaurant and much to his surprise it worked there too. I would never use or recommend Giftly.com again. There is NO phone number to call for assistance or problems. Felt like a scam.

I purchased a $50 gift for an elderly couple who have been kind to me
I purchased a $50 gift for an elderly couple who have been kind to me. It was convenient to purchase the gift card online for a local pizza restaurant. I chose the option for the gift to be texted to the recipients. They subsequently contacted Giftly and requested a gift card and said that they made the request twice with no positive response. I felt bad. I have tried to resolve this issue myself, but no longer have an order number, which apparently is necessary to interact with Giftly. This company has no customer service phone number or email available to resolve the issue myself. The intent of the gift has been negated by Giftly's lack of response and inapproachability to customer service and resolving customer issues. The pizza restaurant told the recipients that their business has never heard of Giftly. Due to the fact that I still want to give the recipients the intended gift, I am going to the pizza restaurant today to purchase a $50 gift card for them. I am out the $50 gift card that I purchased from Giftly. My mistake for doing a random act of kindness late at night and purchased a gift from a company who has little regard for customer service and customer satisfaction.

A beautiful gift turned into such a let down
A beautiful gift turned into such a let down. After our friends purchased this $100 gift certificate. It was only worth $30. How sad that it was put in very small print that it will be reduced by $5 every month after the 13th month. With Covid I couldnt use it as I gave Asthma. This was a shock last night. I brought three friends and it was just very upsetting

I own a small business - a restaurant owned by my husband and me
I own a small business - a restaurant owned by my husband and me. We had a very nice guest who presented a Giftly gift card that she received 3 months ago. She wanted to redeem it for her Bday dinner. She said her friend who bought her the gift card had to use her PayPal to purchase the gift and she had to go through a weird process. The problem is we NEVER received payment from Giftly, and we never authorized this company to sell our gift cards. We feel completely SCAMMED, but we wanted to honor this guests gift card. So now we are out $100 and we feel duped :(

A web search revealed unauthorized gift card sales for my business by Giftly
During a web search of my business information, I noticed that Giftly was soliciting gift card sales for specific amounts. My business never authorized Giftly to sell gift cards for our massage services. I never contacted Giftly for such a partnership. I am unsure when Giftly began selling these gift cards, but I am concerned for customers who purchased massage gift cards that I never authorized. Giftly falsely advertised gift coupons from my business.

We purchased a gift card for $150.00. Giftly transfered the money to a Pay Pal account which was not ours. When we contacted the Giftly support team, they said that the breach happened on our end although we pulled logs of all sign-ins interactive or not and audit logs from our tenant and can verify that that our email address was not used to access the data (we do IT security for a living). We use MFA and never use the same passwords, yet the Giftly support team has no interest in the above mentioned logs proving we did not access the data, that the money transfer was a breach on our end, and that we our out of luck for reimbursement.

Reference to a $100 gift card we received (in my wife's name)
Reference to a $100 gift card we received (in my wife's name) . $50 was used. Then next time we used the card in a restaurant the card was declined. Totally embarrassed us and the person that gave it to us. We called Giftly...was left on hold for more for an extended amount of time. Finally the agent answered ...took the info and said they would get back to us in a few hours. Never heard from them. We're going to contact every agency of interest that will prosecute this company. The reviews are consistent. We have the card to document the issue. Interesting they said the card has expired before it was purchased. If it was expired how did the purchase of $50 get approved.

Giftly has false advertising to deceive you into buying a gift card for specific restaurants
Giftly has false advertising to deceive you into buying a gift card for specific restaurants. I purchased a $250 gift card in July and the person I wanted to gift to receives an email on how to redeem the amount for the specific restaurant. They then ask for bank account information. The person I gifted this to actually tried to redeem the gift card this way only for her bank to block the transfer. I then requested a refund but they said it fell outside their 90 day window. They then contacted the recipient of the gift card telling her to change the numbers of her bank account for the money to go through. They also said she could give her PayPal account or physical address to get the money. No one should have to give their bank account information for a gift card. This cannot be a legitimate business and want to help anyone else who might be deceived in purchasing one thinking it is the gift card for the restaurant of their choice. We have emails with all the exchanges as they only contact you by email. I appreciate in advance any assistance you can provide.

I purchased a Giftly gift card for my parents for their anniversary two years ago
I purchased a Giftly gift card for my parents for their anniversary two years ago. I contacted them regarding the card being declined when my parents first tried using the card at a restaurant. The restaurant also contacted Giftly onsite and was told the amount on the card but they would not approve the purchase. The restaurant tried multiple amounts and all were declined regardless of the price. When I contacted Giftly, they were aware of the situation but said there was nothing they could do and would not refund my money. They said the card was accepted everywhere and we have tried using the card multiple places and it has been declined every place tried. Now there is money missing from the card due to "dormancy," which should not apply especially since we were trying to use the card. This has been an ongoing issue with Giftly in which I have tried solving it with them directly. The card was last attempted within the last week or two and is still being declined. They have told me they will not refund the money and now they are stealing money from the card that we cannot use. This is fraudulent behavior.

My son purchased a $250 gift card through Giftly for the Phonecian resort and Spa in ***. I have never received the card and have received conflicting emails stating that the "card will be sent", that I need to contact another "third party. I have learned on the Complaintsboard.com website that this organization is a SCAM, that it claims to sell gift cards for merchants with whom they have NO relationship. DO NOT purchase anything from this organization and alert your local legal authorities.
Giftly has been such a terrific way to thank my clients for their patronage. They absolutely love the ease of redemption and the various options they have to receive the funds. I appreciate the platform for the ease as well, create an account to store my details and I can order away without and flags preventing my multiple orders weekly. The fees for this are worth it!
Don't do it don't give your money to these people.. They give you the run around saying the sender didn't respond and he did numerous times... Waste of time and ruined the whole giftly idea as a gift.
