Review: Global Sources - A Great Resource for Finding Products from China, but Be Careful When Dealing with Suppliers
Global Sources is a website that connects buyers from all over the world with suppliers from China. It's a great resource for finding products at a good price, but it's important to be careful when dealing with Chinese suppliers. Some of them are not honest and will try to rip you off.
As a business person, it's important to make money, but it's also important to be honest and fair. If you're honest with your customers, they will trust you and keep coming back. This is especially true when dealing with international customers, who may be more cautious about doing business with someone they don't know.
One of the great things about Global Sources is that they have a verification process for their suppliers. This means that they check to make sure that the suppliers are legitimate and that they have a good track record. This can give you some peace of mind when dealing with Chinese suppliers.
However, it's still important to be careful. Make sure that you do your research before doing business with a supplier. Check their reviews and ratings on Global Sources, and look for any red flags. If something seems too good to be true, it probably is.
In conclusion, Global Sources is a great resource for finding products from China, but it's important to be careful when dealing with Chinese suppliers. Make sure that you do your research and only do business with suppliers that you trust.
Disappointing Experience with Global Sources: Lack of Genuine Inquiries and Fake Buyers
Our company from Indonesia has been a supplier on Global Sources for quite some time now, but we haven't received any real inquiries yet. It's been around 4 or 5 years since we signed up, and we're quite disappointed with the lack of genuine interest from potential buyers. To make matters worse, the COVID-19 pandemic has brought in a wave of fake inquiries from unverified buyer accounts. It's quite frustrating to deal with these fake inquiries, and it's not just us who are facing this issue. We've read reviews from other customers who have also faced similar problems while trying to use this site for genuine inquiries.
It seems like many companies advertising on Global Sources are just scams, and it's quite disheartening to see that. We're not sure what to do at this point, but we're considering canceling our company account with Global Sources to avoid any further damage to our own company image. It's quite unfortunate that we've had to face such issues, but we hope that Global Sources takes some measures to address these problems and ensure that genuine buyers and suppliers can connect on their platform.
Warning: Do Not Buy from Seraphic Stores on Global Sources - Scam Alert!
I recently made a purchase from Global Sources, specifically from a company called Seraphic Stores (seraphicstores.com). The salesman who assisted me was named Nikolai Vlasju, and the owner of the company is Mr. Boyle. I was looking to buy an auto diagnostic tool and these two guys offered me a deal for $1600 with free shipping. However, things quickly turned sour when they demanded additional payments for ownership documents ($2000), US customs fees ($800), and yellow tag release ($950).
Despite making these payments, I have yet to receive my items or any kind of refund. I have tried contacting Seraphic Stores multiple times via phone and email, but they have not responded. I also tried reaching out to another agent with the number ***7832, but they also did not answer.
I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with this experience. It seems like I have been scammed out of my money and potentially my items as well. I strongly advise against purchasing anything from this company and urge others to be cautious when dealing with Global Sources. It's a shame that there are dishonest people out there who take advantage of unsuspecting customers.
Beware of Fraudulent Suppliers on Global Sources: A Warning to Buyers
I have had a less than satisfactory experience with Global Sources. In my opinion, the suppliers on this website are not trustworthy. They seem to be regular people who contact suppliers to send samples to appear legitimate. However, once they receive a large sum of money, they disappear without a trace. Even after paying 30% of the money, they keep coming up with excuses to get more money. These companies are fraudulent and Global Sources should really investigate them or maybe even be investigated themselves. These are not verified suppliers. They actually use company names and cut and paste their logos. I am starting to wonder if Global Sources is part of the scam.
The sales people keep changing their names, websites, emails, etc. It is difficult to keep track of who you are dealing with. I would not recommend dealing with them. I have been trying to find a decent supplier on this site for 3 years and have done nothing but lose money. Oh, and even though they change names, they use the same name for all sales people and at different companies, such as Lily Lin, Claire, Lily, Heidi, Peter, Rita, and Sales. These people do not work for the actual companies they claim to represent. They are scammers who are out to take your money.
In my opinion, Global Sources needs to do a better job of vetting their suppliers. They need to ensure that they are legitimate and trustworthy. It is not fair to consumers to be taken advantage of by these fraudulent companies. I hope that Global Sources takes action to address this issue and protect their customers. Until then, I would advise anyone looking for a supplier to be cautious and do their research before making any payments.
GlobalSources.com: Verified Supplier Rating System is a Scam
I have had a personal experience with GlobalSources.com and I must say that it was not a pleasant one. I have proof in writing from some senior executives in a series of emails where GlobalSources.com admitted that their "verified supplier" rating system is based entirely on how much money they collect from the supplier and nothing more. This is quite alarming and disappointing, to say the least.
I was ripped off by a company called CATIC Shenzen Company whom I found through GlobalSources.com. CATIC is a "top rated" supplier as listed on GlobalSources.com. However, after they ripped me off, I contacted GlobalSources.com and finally they admitted that they never "verified" CATIC's capabilities. They simply sent a low-level person to a little office only to collect money. There was no verification other than to be sure the check did not bounce. CATIC simply paid for those 4 stars out of a possible 5 stars. (I know about the little office because I visited that office when I was in China to try to get my money back).
Contrary to what GlobalSources.com states on their website, CATIC Shenzhen has no factories of their own, no research and development, no quality control, etc. This is quite misleading and it is not fair to unsuspecting buyers who rely on the information provided by GlobalSources.com.
It is quite surprising to note that GlobalSources.com is listed on NASDAQ (NASDAQ-GS: GSOL) but they are based in Bermuda, presumably to avoid US tax liability. They were taken public by the bankrupt company Fairchild. This raises a lot of questions about their credibility and transparency.
The person who admitted in writing the truth of this scam is Bernie Holmbraker, General Manager, Client Service and Buyer Events, GlobalSources.com. This is quite shocking and it is not something that any buyer would expect from a company that claims to be a reliable source of suppliers.
I have discussed this issue with Wayne D. Lee at NASDAQ and I am also contacting the NY Attorney General. It is important to bring this to the attention of the relevant authorities so that unsuspecting buyers can be protected from such scams. I would advise anyone who is considering using GlobalSources.com to be very cautious and to do their own due diligence before making any purchases.
Warning: Do Not Do Business with Mos Holdings/Complex Industries - Fraudulent and Untrustworthy
I recently had an experience with Mos Holdings, also known as Complex Industries, based in Hong Kong but with a factory in China, where I contracted them to make custom earrings for me. Their address is Company: Complex Industrial Company Limited, located at 20F, Unit F & G Gold King Ind Bldg., 35-41 Tai Lin Pai Rd Kwai Chung. You can also find them on their websites: http://www.complex.com.hk/e/default_home.asp and http://www.mosholdingsltd.com/sc/.
Unfortunately, my experience with them was not a good one. The earrings they made for me did not look like the samples I provided. They were also late in delivering the earrings, which were delayed by a month. During this time, they misled me about when the earrings would be finished and pushed back the completion date several times. When I finally received the earrings, they were plated in the wrong material. I had requested 18 K gold, rose gold plated earrings, but they gave me 9K gold earrings that looked pale and terrible. The earring pins broke off easily, and the earrings were not plated well, so the base metal was exposed, making them look rusted. The engraving was also done incorrectly on all the earrings, and bad quality glue was used, causing the CZ stones to fall off easily. Out of the 1,312 earrings I ordered, 879 were faulty.
When I contacted them about the issue, they refused to give me a refund or even discuss the matter. I have been unable to talk to a manager about the problem. It is disappointing that a company that seems to do such good samples can produce such faulty products when it comes to the actual order.
I would caution anyone against doing business with this company, even though they claim to make jewelry for big brands. They are fraudulent and cannot be trusted.
Warning: Terrible Experience with Youguan Leather Product Co. Ltd - Do Not Use!
We recently had a terrible experience with Youguan Leather Product Co. Ltd, which we found on globalsources.com. We worked with Fiona from the company, and it was a nightmare from start to finish. We sent them our own materials to make our products with, but they held them hostage until we paid for unfinished goods that we couldn't even use. It was frustrating and unfair, as the materials were ours to begin with.
To make matters worse, Youguan Leather made our items completely wrong. We had to throw away hundreds of them because they were so badly made. It was beyond comprehension how they even thought it was okay to send them to us. We sent them samples and fabrics, but they couldn't follow them correctly. They couldn't even make the items in the correct colors! We were shocked and disappointed.
The colors were wrong, the quantities were wrong, and they charged us for the complete order even though they made less than we ordered and the items were incorrectly made. They even charged us extra for the "hassle" they caused us. It was a nightmare dealing with them, and we felt blackmailed into paying because they held our materials hostage.
We had our agent visit them to talk sense into them, but our agent said they were horrible people and very narcissistic. It was no use. We were left with no choice but to pay them and move on.
We've been working with many Chinese suppliers for over 20 years now, and we've seen some shockers. But we normally know how to pick them. Never have we seen anything at this level of deceptiveness. Youguan Leather is simply evil. Fiona, the company owner, BINYOU WU, and production manager, SHUXIANG GUI (aka Grace?), are so good at lying and cheating. We suspect that Fiona's real name might be Yanying Liao.
In conclusion, we strongly advise against using Youguan Leather Product Co. Ltd. They are not to be trusted, and we wouldn't want anyone else to go through what we did. Stay away from them at all costs.
Beware of Scammer 'Next Day Mobile' on Global Sources - A Warning to Buyers
I recently had a terrible experience with a supplier on Global Sources, specifically a company called 'Next Day Mobile'. They responded to my inquiry for 5 Sapphire Radeon RX Vega64 8G HMB2 Graphics Cards, and quoted me ?1500 to be paid by bank transfer to an account under the name 'Next Day Mobile'. I thought everything was going smoothly until I received a false tracking number and a fake phone number. When I tried to contact them, they told me that the product had not been shipped because their minimum order number was 10, not 5. I was confused and frustrated, as they had invoiced me for and agreed to supply 5 units. They then told me that if I wanted the delivery to go ahead, I had to pay for another five. This was unacceptable, and I demanded my money back.
After some research, I discovered that there were two companies with the name 'Next Day Mobile'. The original company is a genuine Ltd Company registered at Company's House, while the other is a scammer using the same name and pretending to be the original company. They even wrote to me in the name of the Director of the original Next Day Mobile, quoting his address and other details. The false website is www.nextdaymobilesltd.com. I reported the false 'Next Day Mobile' to the UK police, but I doubt that my bank can recover my ?1500, which they can only attempt to do after 14 days of non-delivery of goods. This is all a scam, and I urge everyone to stay well away.
I am disappointed that Alibaba does not check people on their site at all. I had even pre-sold 2 of the items purchased via Ebay, so now I have to refund my customers while I try to find another supplier. It is frustrating that the counterfeit version of Next Day Mobile is still trading, even though the original company had reported this to Trading Standards weeks ago. GoDaddy has not taken the site down, and the hosting company has not either, saying that it needs a court order. I doubt that the police will do anything, but this is a criminal organization and a scam outfit.
In conclusion, I would advise everyone to be careful when dealing with suppliers on Global Sources, and to do their research before making any payments. It is unfortunate that there are scammers out there who are willing to take advantage of unsuspecting buyers, but we must remain vigilant and protect ourselves from these fraudulent activities.

Review: Global Sources - A Good Website for Finding Suppliers, But Beware of Scammers
Global Sources is a good website to find suppliers for your business. They have a lot of different products to choose from and the prices are usually pretty good. I have used them a few times and have been happy with the results.
One thing to be careful of is scammers. There are a lot of people out there who will try to scam you out of your money. They might ask you to send money through Western Union or MoneyGram or through a bank transfer. If someone asks you to do this, it's probably a scam. Be careful and make sure you are dealing with a reputable supplier.
Overall, I would recommend Global Sources to anyone who is looking for a supplier for their business. Just be careful and do your research before sending any money.
Buyer Beware: My Scam Experience with Global Sources
I recently had a bad experience with Global Sources (globalsources.com). I was scammed out of my hard-earned money. Their representatives would call and text me constantly, acting like they were my friends. But as soon as they received my payment, they sent me a fake tracking number. When I tried to contact them, they gave me some bogus story and then disappeared. I never heard from them again.
It's really frustrating to deal with scammers like this. I wish I had done more research before trusting them. I hope that others will learn from my mistake and be more careful when dealing with Global Sources. Don't believe everything they tell you, and always double-check their information before making any payments.
Despite my negative experience, I have to admit that Global Sources does have a wide range of products available on their website. They claim to be a reliable source for buyers looking for quality products from trustworthy suppliers. However, I would caution anyone considering doing business with them to be very careful and do their due diligence before making any purchases.
In conclusion, while Global Sources may have some good products, I cannot recommend them based on my personal experience. I hope that they will take steps to improve their customer service and prevent scams like the one I fell victim to. Until then, I would advise anyone considering doing business with them to proceed with caution.
Global Sources Review: Scam Alert - Don't Trust Them with Your Money!
I had a really bad experience with Global Sources. I was looking for some products to buy and I came across their website. At first, I thought it was a good place to find what I was looking for, but I was wrong. I placed an order and paid for it, but I never received the products. I tried to contact their customer service, but they never replied to my emails. I was really frustrated and angry because I had lost my money.
I decided to do some research and I found out that I was not the only one who had been scammed by Global Sources. There were many other people who had similar experiences. I read some reviews and I realized that the good reviews were probably fake. The bad reviews were the ones that I should have paid attention to.
I decided to report Global Sources to the Canadian authorities because I wanted to prevent other people from being scammed. I don't want anyone else to go through what I went through. It's really important to be careful when you're buying products online. You never know who you're dealing with.
In conclusion, I would not recommend Global Sources to anyone. They are not a trustworthy company and they will steal your money. If you're looking for products to buy, I suggest that you look for other websites that are more reliable. Don't be fooled by any good reviews that you see on their website. They are all fake. Be careful and stay safe.
Terrible Experience with Global Sources: Oricolour Image Co. Ltd Took My Money and Never Delivered Product
I had a terrible experience with Global Sources. I ordered from Oricolour Image Co. Ltd, a verified supplier on their website, and they took my money but never delivered the product. It's been 8 months now and I still haven't received anything. I've filed several complaints with Global Sources, but they haven't done anything to help me. It's frustrating that they don't seem to care about their customers.
The supplier's contact person is Ms. Xu, Kelsea, and her email is ***@oricolour.com. They're located at 3F, Keli Building West People Str, No. 880 Xiangzhou Zhuhai. I wouldn't recommend doing business with them or Global Sources. It's a waste of time and money. I hope others can learn from my mistake and avoid this company.
