GoFreeCredit.com Fraud debit card charges

I had a fraudulent charge to my debit card today, actually 3 of them... first was a $2.00 charge on 12/05 12:13:52 POS MVQ*YOURSAVINGSCLUB [protected] CTUS and then a $1.00 charge on 12/05 12:14:02 POS MVQ*CREDSCORECOMPLETE [protected] CTUS ... and then yesterday a $29.95 charge 12/09 09:38:08 POS MVQ*CREDSCORECOMPLETE [protected] CTUS. NONE of which I signed up for. These were through Kelly Martin's "Fast-First Training" on http://gaming.freefactor.com/?id=18811&pid=3201606 website. Someone is re-directing/phishing info from the "Offers" pages. This scam company is known under many names. See:
http://www.complaintsboard.com/complaints/credit-score-complete-c366685.html

I don't think PPD (ProjectPayDay.com) is involved, but I think they have a responsibility to their members to make sure these things don't happen. If they made sure all the sites used PayPal, I don't think this could/would occur. I'm very reluctant to even try any more of their hints/tips from PPD. I'm also going to put the info out there about PPD's & Kelly Martin's & (gaming.freefactor.com)'s association with this scammer company. All their intro info said this was above board and an honest run deal. Now to be honest, Kelly Martin did pay me ($50)for my going green, but when I get robbed of $32.95... thats a high cost to pay because of a scammer. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth... Johnny Lee

GoFreeCredit.com made a charge I did not authorize - I authorized $1.00 not @29.99 -

I authorized this website to take $1.00 out of my account - NOT $29.99. I have not used this service - I do not want this service - I want my money back because it was advertised for $1.00 not $29.99. I will go to the BBB if need be. My e-mail address is [protected]@yahoo.com. Please reply ASAP.

check your credit card statement for other fraud charges for $1.00 or $2.00 with MVQ* in the description. They have been charging 2 separate charges recently so if you cancel one, you still get charged for the other. Post another comment here if that is the case. I hope someone takes these guys down.

I signed up with GO FREE CREDIT on 11/27/2010 and cancelled my membership on 11/30/2010.
I called [protected] (credit score complete), gave them my member ID [protected] and debit card number. They confirmed my cancellation effective 11/30/2010.
If NO information is being sold from Go Free Credit and or its affiliates, why am I being charged $29.99 on 12/06/2010 and $1.00 on 12/02/2010 from PRIVACTY MATTERS IDENTITY?
I've already contacted the BBB regarding Go Free Credit and am currently awaititing their response.

No reason to continue to lie -- I guarantee you did not speak to anyone there. If you did, what was the person's name? I bet you don't have one, because they have no relationship with EMI and do not sell data.

I hope you have a more truthful 2010 - Happy New Year.

This accusation is 100% false and fake. Go Free Credit has never sold or shared a credit card number, and does not even store private information. Go Free Credit also has no relationship with EMI Music.

This consumer signed up for a free credit monitoring trial membership with CreditScore Express to also see their credit report and credit score.

This site is a great site to protect consumers, but unfortunately many good companies get slandered because some consumers have no interest in posting the truth.

Happy Holidays

GoFreeCredit.com theft

I was applying for a car loan online and the site suggested gofreecredit.com as a quick free way to see my score and enter it on their application. I subscribed with credit card and it said the card could not be processed and please use another card. I corrected a spelling mistake on my name and re-entered it and got the same message. I went ahead and used another card and got the same message. I gave up and closed the browser only to find 3 emails from my bank indicating 3 $1 charges. now I can't contact them even though they say there is a number to cancel on their disclosure page.
I guess in 7 days they will enroll me into God knows what.

GoFreeCredit.com Scam

@ georgenueva
When you sign up at gofreecredit.com they do not send an email or send you to a page with info about your account. The website loops. The company that owns gofreecredit.com is credit score complete, in which they have a seperate website. I contacted credit score complete and at first they try to say they didnt own gofreecredit.com. When i read that on the very first page gofreecredit.com states that they are credit score complete. He then stated will its a third party that sales are services. Then i asked am i going to be charged anymore. He stated that not by them i wouldnt, but gofrrecredit.com i might. I then told thats funny because i recived your phone number from my bank. Your phone number is associated with the charges on my account and it is you charging me, not gofreecredit.com. And that time he said, no you will not be charged anymore and you will be refunded. What is the most disturbing about this is that when i called they couldnt even find my account or credit card info. , even though they had charged my account twice! Their phone number is [protected]

I applied for a job on line as a cashier and was told that I had to sign up to get the Fee Tranunion credit score. I have already contacted my Bank of

America to deny any of these charges. You people are scamming us poor people out trying to find jobs. This is what is wrong with AMERICA now.
Please do not contact me about the $1.00 charge either, because I never used the Credit Report. You People should be ashamed of yourselves, I am a 78 year old individual trying to live on Social Security with the help of a part time job and you are scamming me and others like me.

I was filling out an online application and was directed to "gofreecredit.com" for a credit report I did not need. My bank account was charged $1 and I was to be charged $29.95 monthlly if I did not cancel in seven days. I went online within the hour to cancel. There was absolutely no information provided by "gofreecredit" to cancel. I finally thought to contact Transunion directly and was able to cancel. I've posted the contact info:
Beware - they will tell you over the phone that you can cancel online, but I wasn't able to and had the rep cancel and give me a confirmation #.

NOT a Free Credit Reporting provider

I just went through providing information for a refi, followed up with the solicitation for a FREE credit report, getting through the multi-pages of questions, the final page solicited my credit card for a NON-POSTED amount, and this final page did NOT list a telephone number or webpage to refer to, so I opted out of the final page. I googled the name and found a email address, as well as a number of "COMPLAINT COMMENTS", this page included, so that's a red-light to begin with, so I sent off my comments this morning. until they either REMOVE the "FREE" referral to their webpages, or actually provide a "FREE" report as solicited, DO NOT ENTERTAIN THIS WEB PAGE "GO FREE CREDIT.COM"...ITS A SCAM! This query does NOT allow for a ZERO star rating.so disregard the single one for these comments.

@SRCH - Same exact thing happened to me just now with Reed & Porter. I applied for a mail room clerk position I found on a job site and was contacted by someone named Anne Porter, who sent me the link to the Reed & Porter site. I went through the entire first portion, submitted interview details, then it took me to that screen where it claimed it needed to verify my identity through a credit check report (which led me to gofreecredit). I think I have heard of this being done by creditors to determine identity theft, but not so much employers or staffing agencies. I don't know if this is a common practice that I'm just unaware of, or something of a scam. It's very frustrating, as I have been job hunting for a couple of months and actually thought I might have scored something this time. Oh well...back to the grind.

Oh wow. I applied for a job from a link from a legit job site. I was sent an email, supposedly from a staffing agency called "Reed and Porter" that I could barely find any info on? They asked me to continue with the app, and asked me to go to this site listed to verify eligibility to work in the U.S. With a credit report...what? no thanks.

Yup definitely a scam,

I applied for a Groundskeeper job on Craigslist. Received an email from a Simon Grady saying my profile was perfect blahblahblah and that I needed to fill out an application form on their website before an interview could be scheduled.
I was given this link: doipropmgnt.org/application/ and a "personal application code". Halfway through the application I was asked to sign up for a credit report before interview cold be scheduled. Alarm bels started ringing and here I am. gofreecredit seems to have an affiliate program which scammers are trying to take advantage of. I should have known, the hourly wage for the job was way above average.
Don't give these people your credit card details!
