I did NOT give permission for running my Credit!?
I was at 704, last year before I received service notices from Credit Bureau that my credit was being accessed!?
I have paid 5 vehicles & my CREDIT REPORTS DOES NOT REFLECT ANY CAR PURCHASES!
I paid off my LEXUS RX 350 after 3 months+1 day!? The bank that sent me letter was Chase Bank & Enterprise Fleet Sales!
Why are my big purchases NEVER UPDATED!?
Isn’t that a SHAME that vendors, contract/ liabilities ARE NOT REQUIRED TO REPORT EVERY CAR PURCHASES OVER $10,000.00?

My credit is screwed up with trans union for the SIMPLE fact they keep putting the wrong information, even after the bank has contacted them and gave them the correct information. First they corrected it, then they put the wrong information back, then they corrected it again just to put the wrong information again. Now my score is low only with trans union and high with the other two credit bureaus, because trans union seems to be confused and keep entering the wrong info. I tried correcting it with them myself on the app and they keep referring me to the bank which the bank has already corrected on paper to me and informed trans union. So for me I want to give them NO stars. I pay my bills as they also have 100% bill pay on my account but a low score in the 600's. Thanks trans union for nothing.
Couldn't recognize my info
This app was working fine form me when I first got my capitol one card. Then, out of no where it seemed, it wouldn't let me login anymore. Telling me that it couldn't recognize some of my information and gave me a code and a number to call. I called the number which lead me to the Capitol one team, after talking with them for a while and verifying that everything was correct with what they have they transferred me over to the Trans union people. I was on the phone with them for a while as well going over all my info, and verifying it all with them. They then put in a service ticket for me to have there IT team look into to it and told me it should be working within a few days... that was about 3 months ago. I've pretty much given up on the app, which is unfortunate because it was very useful and handy.
I would like to be able to use it again, but I'm at a loss as to how to resolve my situation...
Waste of time
After struggling for 30 minutes to create a user name and password, I finally landed on a screen that told me I already had an account and that I needed to change my password. I then proceeded to jump through more hoops, from having a special code sent to my phone to having to answer preset security questions to having to answer questions related to my credit report. I got through all that, changed my password, and was sent to a log in screen where, big surprise, my just changed password is not recognized. Now I’m locked out until I call the number that is shown. I’m expecting some sort of tech support. Wrong. I’m at Capitol One’s main number and I can choose between banking, auto loans, credit cards, but no option for tech or web support. I have now committed nearly an hour to the process and have lost all interest in anything Capitol One has to offer. I’m deleting the app and I will avoid anything to do with Capitol One from here on out.
Error message after accepting T&Cs
Developers need to go back to school and Capital One needs lessons in customer experience. Error message after logging in successfully then clicking accept for terms and conditions. Called the number and after wasting 10 minutes rep said "not my department" & transferred me to a Department that is closed.
Then a few days later I get an email supposedly from the developers that read this review, asking for details but the link to contact a developer just goes to a general customer service contact me page with no way to do that. The email also offered that I should tweet @askcapitalone but I had already done that before leaving the review, with specific details about the issue, which apparently no one at Capital One read before emailing me asking for details I had already provided.
If someone at Capital One actually does care about the customer experience using this app they will check the DM I sent to @askcapitalone and we can have a dialog that way.
Credit score
2/5 bc I don’t understand a credit card can increase balance of $100 and score decrease by 20 points. I just paid off $20,000 on my credit cards in one month and got no score increase and under what changed, the payment of $20+ K is listed but no increase in credit score.
Bought a $1.25 million dollar house and lost 50+ points. Paid On time without one misses payment and no increase in my score.
I don’t and will never understand how they figure your credit score.
It is about 50 points less than what banks have as well. My credit score was 775 on credit wise and bank showed 704.
You pay off $20K in debt and gain 1 point spend $100 on credit card and lose 20+points.
Paid off $25K balance on a car loan and score dropped because it was 100% paid on time.My income is near $500K a year. 100% payment history and can’t get above 750 score.

There is nothing else I can do but pay in full each month and now sitting on 704 on credit wise with 100% payment hx and $25-$25 K post tax income.
Depression watching score go down with large payments and decrease 20 points with a $100 increased credit card balance!
Shady behavior
I’m very upset that the Credit Wise app sent me a notification that I had a new credit inquiry on my Trans Union which prompted me to log in. Then it asked me for my phone # as if it was going to text an MFA code. Then it texted me “Thanks for giving Capital One your mobile number. You now have access to Eno, your Capital One assistant. You can talk to Eno by sending a text to...” What?! Without any disclosures and consent?! First mention of Eno was in the text after! And the supposedly “new” credit inquiry on my report turned out to be 18 months old. What are you playing at?! This is the kind of untrustworthy behavior that gets your app deleted and all consent revoked.
Eno only applies to Capital One account holders, which I am not. I don’t see anywhere to revoke consent, nor the “Do Not Sell” link for California residents. Thanks to Apple’s new privacy disclosures, I see that Credit Wise is selling my financial & other info to 3rd parties. There are other ways to see my Trans Union report without giving away the farm to Capital One to date mine me. This might be acceptable for Capital One customers since they have your info anyway, but I’m upset by their lack of transparency and ways to control how my data is used.
Unusable
I’ve had a personal account and a business account with CapOne for many years. It has been a difficult relationship - basically it was always on CapOne’s terms - and rarely did seem to be genuine interest in my needs as a customer. Had only one account I would have moved on years ago but I inertia kept me. But recently I had a good experience at the Reston Spectrum branch and then I kept hearing about the CreditWise app on NPRone and thought I would give it a try.
So, because I have 2 accounts, CreditWise defaulted to the personal account username and password. I tried several times to change the login to my business account but the app appears to be configured to accept only a single account per user. After several failed tries I was locked out. After my time out passed, I tried again and was greeted with an error code CW-[protected] with 2 options: (1)“Try Again” or (2)“Get Help” So of course the first puts me into a loop and get help offers a phone number with someone who never had a caller with more than one account, so was not able to help.
I even called my local Reston Spectrum branch office and the employee there listened to my problem and promised he would find a solution and then put me on hold for 17 minutes, and when another voice interrupted the music I was talking with someone in CapOne’s internal IT department who quizzed me about how I got the number and then told me he was not allowed to help me.
So I deleted the app and let a few days pass before I downloaded it again, tried logging in, and the same 2 accounts problem began again. I used to run a mobile app developmemt business and before a line of code is written you always map out the specific use cases and scenarios the app has to be designed to handle, so that obviously didn’t happen here. I rated CW “unusable” because I simply have not been able to use it, though by god I sure have tried.

Acces to CreditWise tool to see my free credit report are denied under error code CW-[protected]. July 5, 2023 I try to reach CreditWise Customer service and I talk with a representative called Inet, she cant fix the error code and dont provide a proper answer about the issue, she transfer the call to a supervisor and this representative cant fix the error and transfer the call to fraud department, them I talk with a representative of this department and after long conversartion finally he dont fix the issue. After 1 hour 20 minutes talking with 3 different department representatives nobody fix the error on my CreditWise acces. Poor and incompetent customer service.
Desired outcome: I appreciate a proper answer and solution about this feature on my capital one account. Please restore my CreditWise access. Thanks

Every since I updated my app it closes out automatically about five seconds after I sign in. I’m currently using my iPhone. Is this a bug and will work itself out?

Simulator Doesn’t Work
Love the app except when trying to simulate paying things off and projecting a possible new score, the number stays at $0 even when I’m trying to insert assumed payoff amount. Please fix!

Every time I go to try and open up the app it makes me sign in and it crashes every time. I’ve restarted my phone, deleted the app, downloaded again, and still I get nowhere it just crashes again.

Not accurate
So my husband found this as he has captial one cards he thought it was a good resource so I began to use it then i realized that nothing in it was accurate. My score my account information such as how much credit was currently in use how many cheeks on my repot there had been and so on not even the score is right

Great design but not accurate
I have used this app since it first came out. Great design idea on the credit simulator. Several issues are the credit score is very inaccurate, my score is 87 points high than what it states, and it took 5 weeks for it to notify me that I had opened up a new credit account. So it lacks in the the two most important issues. But great concept.

Unable to access
I created an account and went to put in my username and password, that I just created and saved, it said it didn’t match. I went to reset my login information and it asks for my last name, social, and date of birth. Again it says my information does not match. I tried calling and submitting my concern online but it is impossible to contact anybody or get help.

Good until
At first it was accurate and good but for the past three weeks they haven’t been. Saying I’ve used 100 percent of my credit when I haven’t, just 30-40 percent. I would like to have an accurate score. Im trying to fix my credit and it seems like it’s getting worse according to them while I do barely any big activities on my cards. I sent a message and the message didn’t fix anything. So i will be deleting this app.

Credit Score Innaccuracy
I gave this a 2 Star because when a mortgage professional pulled my credit my scores were significantly lower than what is reported. As a former mortgage professional, this was a huge problem with a lot of my clients when they were under the impression that their scores were better than they actually were and had to be counseled on credit repair. Credit Karma and this app are not good when you are looking to secure a home loan or a personal loan.
