On October 23, 2023, I opened my Government Vacation Rewards (GVR) account. At that time, I had 213,993 points showing in my account. I didn't call to make any reservations at that time, but did download information on some cruises. I decided I would wait until the quarterly specials came out in November before booking. I also took a picture of my points because I thought I was missing some since the last time I was in my account.
I went back into my account on November 8, 2023, and there were only 25,472 points. I have called GVR, and have spoked to several individuals in customer support and asked what happened to my points. I was told by one person, Ramon that my points had expired. I asked him to explain how points I had purchased in 2021 could've expired. I never received a logical explanation. I was never told that points I purchased expired. I was told that bonus points given me had expiration dates. I was told to use my points, I had to remain a member. So I paid my $29 annual fee. I was never given any kind of notice that my points would expire. Its not clearly stated anywhere on the website. The last contact was Rodolfo Lopez, who was supposed to get back to me after reviewing my account. I've called anf left several messages.
Desired outcome: Replace my points or refund my money. My contact information is: Jessica Hamilton, [protected]@outlook.com
