bad service and attitude by grabcar driver
To whom it may concern i really hope you take action or give a warning to this driver. My mum and i book a Grab Car Plate number SGY7139Z Name Ho Hian Teck today at 3pm . Just for ur info my mum will have headache sitting at the back seat so she wants to sit at the front but i was so shock by ur driver's words . 'you sitting infront ah?no no sit behind i dont like my customer to seat infront' That is very disrespectful i hope the respective people can give him a warning or take actions. We pay for the trip not free bear that in mind.

I booked a grab car on 26th December 2016 @ 1106 pm (Booking ID: ADR-[protected]). My wife, 3 yrs old daughter and I were waiting for him at 304A Woodlands Street 31, loading & unloading bay where the GPS shown was 1 min. I sms him @ 1107 pm saying that we are waiting at the loading and unloading bay but no reply from driver. @ 1114 pm, we have waited close to 10 mins, driver was still yet to arrive. I sms him again saying "go inside carpark blk 304, loading and unloading bay". @ 1120 pm then driver arrived. That is a total of 15 mins of waiting!
When I was already in the car, I asked him, "Why you took so long?" He replied, he waited at the main road but I already mentioned the location in the sms and the pick up point chosen was 304A Woodlands Street 31! He even said that he didn't receive any sms!
Then he drove off. While moving off, he saw my daughter and rudely said, "Eh we cannot take kids, grab car don't have insurance for kids". We were stunned! All this while, we were not told or informed about this insurance thing. But what stated in the driver sign-up, it stated that "Both drivers and passengers insurance coverage are provided by any ride-hailing platform".
Then driver continued and suddenly stopped the car in the middle of the road. He rudely said "Do you want to go out and take another car?!""I don't take kids as grab car don't have insurance for kids". I just kept quiet and he moved on. While we were on the main road, I realised he didn't switch ON his GPS and resulting him going the wrong route! He blamed us for not informing him! He should have switch ON his GPS!
To my surprise, he even told us that he is an ex taxi driver! How the hell he got his taxi license if he doesn't know the direction!
I demand this driver to be suspended from driving grab car again.
Because he is bringing his taxi "culture", didn't switch ON the GPS and resulting going the wrong route, giving a bad name and reputation on GrabCar and he said out loud that "GrabCar doesn't take any responsibility and insurance for kids".
Lastly, I would like to request for a refund!

We booked a Grab sedan in Greenbelt and the driver accepted it but when he arrrived at the pick up place. He suddently rejected the booking and just reason out something else. grabcar driver setting her "own" route
I've attached a screenshot of the driver info as well as the driver's text message, indicating that she only accepts trips around the Makati area when I was QC bound. First of all, it takes us time to have our bookings accepted by your Choosy drivers only to be cancelled again. Second of all, Pick-up and Drop-off points are indicated on the booking, so why accept the booking only to cancel it afterwards? And lastly, if you have appointed a "Fixed Area" for yourself, why drive with Grab? You should go drive a jeep, bus or UV Express van, who has a fixed route.
Based from the hundreds of complaint being received and UNANSWERED by Grab, I'm not expecting you to put action into this complaint. But it's still worth giving it a try. Thank you.
my ipad and ipod video was stolen

I am 56 years old and I never lost anything in a Cab until now. All Cab drivers from my experience return any item I leave behind until now.
Date of the incident: December 19, 2016 . It was around 830 pm when the Grab Car Taxi plate number ABF 4365 driven by Bonifacio Cunanan dropped me off at 72 Nathan Road, White Plains, Quezon City. He picked my up from 4 United States Street, Better Living, Paranaque. He knew I had a lot of bags all in the passenger seat and he still did not turn on any light for visibility. Nor did he help me and check that I did not leave any bag behind. The car does not have a passenger light which could be a sign that this is a modus operandi for all passengers who leave or drop their items by mistake in this car. So after I discovered my bag was missing, I phoned him and told him to come back but some time had elapsed and he said that he already had other passengers who could have taken the bag. A Barangay Report was filed. This missing bag was about 10 inches by 11 inches by 3 inches in size and had 2 bag tags with my picture and address on the tags. The Bag contained my IPAD and IPOD Video. A passenger would not take this but would alert the driver if they found this on the passenger seat. Please prevent this driver and other Grab drivers from doing this again to other passengers by requiring Grab CAr drivers to assure the passengers that all bags are with the passenger when they leave the Grab Car by proactively checking. Require a passenger light for all Grab Cars. Block this driver and car from Grab Car services until he reuturns my Ipad and ipod video and bag.

hi. i wrote yesterday regarding the incident of my ipad being stolen but today, someone called and said that they found my ipad.
Although my ipad was found, the suspicion on the driver Bonifacio Cunanan with grab car license plate ABF 4365 arose because the grabcar did not have a passenger light or the passenger light was not turned on and so it was very dark at the passenger area so I was not sure if i got all my bags from the grab car. And the driver did not help me by turning on the light and helping me with my many bags.
please continue to enlist the services of the driver and the car although my recommendations remain the same. 1. that the grabcar driver turn on the passenger light so that the passenger and the driver can account for all the bags of the passenger. 2. that the driver help the passenger with all his many bags and help account for all the passenger's bags.
the driver initially was a suspect because even he did not know if a bag was left behind.

driver's bad attitude & his driving
I would like to complain regarding the driving of Mr. Melquiades Carandang, Grab taxi UWL618. My route was from San Antonio Valley 1 Parañaque to NAIA Terminal 3 this morning 0130am.
Everyday i'm using grab going to work & i never experience this kind of driving like someone is chasing us that he's minimum speed was 60km/ph up to 90km/ph knowing that there's a lot of big trucks & cars on the road, he keep on swerving even though i already told him that i'm not in a rush but he never listen to me until we get to the airport and while i'm still inside the card and asking for the total amount he's charging me 240 pesos which makes me more upset. When i ride his cab i saw 57pesos already on the meter w/c is supposedly 40Pesos only then when we got to the airport the total metered was 167pesos, He didn't even compute for the total amount and just told me to pay 260 pesos which makes me irritated because when i booked it, the estimate amount is just 173-211 pesos. If i know that I'm going to pay that amount i should have take sedan instead of taxi. Aside from that, he's already talking on the phone with another passenger while we're not yet done. He's being rude & raising his voice to me like he just want to get the money immediately because he has another passenger already.
I'm totally upset with the driver aside from his carelessly driving he's attitude towards me was really bad.
Just to finished the transaction i paid him 200 pesos which is always my regular rate and i told him that i will file a complain regarding the said situation.
Passengers are riding grab not only for a convenient transportation but also for a good service. Nobody deserves this kind of treatment & service. I hope you should do something about it. Thank you.

First, the system cannot locate phil-am village, nor identify one single street of the village. This is the biggest problem to begin with...

Hi I am writing to complain about one of your driver with a plate number vk3936, this driver is over charging and asking extra to pay due to traffic condition. Im a grab passenger but how could this driver overcharge me he had picked me up at terminal 4 going to moa the price was only 120 if not mistaken and he is charging me 250 to drop there and ask me to cancel my booking when im inside the car. This is not right and it was irritating if I will cancel the booking the money will go only to him and ill have to pay him 250php ? I have no time to get all the details of this driver but I hope that you will look forward to this concern and complaints otherwise I will go and submit this in other way. Like this driver should not take advantage to a passenger like me who knows not only me who had experienced it. This is a serious matter so I hope that you grab company are giving right training to each driver. I am complaining about the driver being dishonest
Hi. I am not a frequent GRAB user so I was traveling to a short distance yesterday so I decided to use GRAB as the bus timing was super long. After arriving to the destination I receive an email receipt saying $0.00 which means I don't have to pay anything. Later I found out there was a $8 promo and my trip only cost $5. Instead of telling me there's a promo the driver took $5 cash and left.

Good Day. This is regarding my cancelled booking ID 4DR-[protected]-2-035 around 1:59pm. I already lodged this complaint thru contact support a while ago, but I want to go further by attaching the copy of the text conversation between myself and the rude grabcar driver who badmouthed me.

I am here to lodge a complain about the GrabCar company themselves, this is not coming from a GrabCar Driver, but a passenger. Recently my Friend has sent a complain about a GrabCar driver in hoping they will be able to settle matters on a better term, liking just giving them a warning or a reminder on what they shouldn't be doing in the future. However, I've found out the way GrabCar handles their staffs. Here's how, GrabCar Drivers received a complain, Grab automatically suspended their account, which means they can't work, and that they will have to pay for the rental as well. Humans make mistakes sometimes, passengers can accidentally put the wrong location and get away with it, but this is how the company 'punishes' their staff. I hereby announce the major disappointment I have with this company and that I will not ever ride with Grab again.
Dear passengers, sometimes when Drivers have their reasons for making mistakes. They have overlyworked to support a family. Do show some understanding and don't complain over the smallest mistakes for they have apologised. Yes complain when Drivers are rude to you, that's a bad service. But not when the Drivers have already explained the situation and apologised and when you said you're okay with it, you just complain anyway, because this is what your small complain can result in.
Dear rude Drivers, maybe it's better to learn, and be nice to your future passengers, for they are the ones forking out money for your service and I am sure nobody likes to pay for bad service.
Dear company, please look into the matter of your own company, and maybe just treat your Drivers right. Afterall, they are the source of your income too. It's like a partnership.

grabtaxi pushed to grabcar by app
on 2 occasions, the app led me to grabcar instead of grabtaxi and the charges were exorbitant.
I had a look at the grabtaxi and it says $13-19 to go from Jln Lye Kwee to 407 Havelock Road on Sat 26 nov 2016 at 1140am, but was led to grabcar which came with a hefty $30 fare. I asked the driver and he just shrugged his shoulder and when I asked for discount, he said he's on commission.
Why is the app pushing bookings to grabcar when I can see so many grabtaxis on my mobile and this grabcar had to come from 10 mins away. Are the taxi drivers with grabtaxis being deprived of their earnings because of this? LTA, if are reading this, please take action!
I have decided not to use grabcar henceforth. (but I though it will be nice if I become a driver but on second thought felt bad as it will be cheating the customer!)

I'm riding in your Grabcar - licence number SGX 1785C, driven by Ahmad Razis Bin Ismail - on 1st Dec 4.25pm.
When I got into the vehicle, the driver was driving at snail's pace - even though there was no traffic as we were driving out of the carpark onto the main road. He inched along the road so slowly that the lights that were green slowly turned amber then red.
I then asked the driver which route he was taking and he was none too pleased about it and said very sarcastically that he would go 'whichever route I wanted to take'. I did not like his tone but I let that slide.
When we got on the expressway, I asked if he could 'go a little bit faster wherever possible'. He snapped back saying that he wasn't going to risk his life for me and that I should have left for my destination earlier. He then promptly THREATENED to drop myself and my colleague in the middle of the expressway.
Being a seasoned cab rider, I have seen all sorts but have never submitted any formal complaint.
This is a first for me. The booking was made by my colleague and I'm glad that I NEVER use Grab and will never use it.
This is the reason why well-paying customers would rather ride in a Comfort or any of the established taxi companies because we don't encounter unreasonable drivers like these.

Hi I am writing to complain about one of your driver named Tay Wee Teng, Louis. Today, 30th Nov 2016 @1.57pm I booked a grabcar using the $8 off "refer to a friend" promo and it actually went through. But upon reaching my destination he claimed for the full amount without deducting the discount and even raised his voice at me. I am only 16 years old and I assumed he thought that he could cheat me as I am young. I didnt question much as he already raised his voice at me and I didnt dare retaliate. I hope you could do something to have this matter resolved. He has a very bad attitude and also a mind of a conman as he isnt honest while doing his job.

I took grab on Wednesday at 7am from Ubi Ave 1 to Hougang Ave 6. Supposingly my fare was $2 but i dint know that i got $5 off so i paid him $7 ($5 off from my husb he grab for me. )
Driver should know that fare was only $2 but took my money $7 wtout returning balance of $5.
Very angry with driver as i was with baby and he didnt even help me at all but instead took passenger money.

grab driver rip off $10
On the 29 Oct'16, I booked a 13 seater from Amara Hotel to Baliza (night club) with a fare that was quotes $60 from the app. The booking code is IOS-[protected] and time is 1:08AM.
The driver arrived and the ride was fine, no delays, no extra waiting time, no extra drop-offs. When we got off, he demanded $70 instead of quoted $60. We were confused but he kept insisting and since we were blocking a very small one way road, we paid him $70 CASH.
The following Sunday I called Grab's customer service about the issue and they told me they would "investigate" and I've not heard from them since. I am very disappointed in the level of service and am checking if the issue was ever resolved or did I just lose $10 for nothing.
