refund long in coming
We were not able to find any dates to use a free 2 night vacation voucher from Grand Incentives. Big surprise there (not!) after reading a lot of reviews on the company! So I requested our deposit back that we had to send in in order to even choose dates in the first place. This should have been my first clue-why pay when you don't even have dates booked yet?! Anyway, after the guaranteed 8-10 weeks turn around on receiving my deposit back, I had yet to hear anything. I called twice a week for 2 months checking on the refund, only to be told every time that it "should" go out with the next posting and it "should" come in the mail within the week. 2 months I called on each day that they said my check "should" be posted. No one could give me a straight answer, all they told me was that accounting had the list but that there was no way to talk to accounting and that my check "should" be in the next posting of refunds. I asked again and again to speak to a manager. No surprise that they were always "out". I left a message with one but am still waiting on that return phone call! I emailed the address given on the long hold time message. Nothing. Finally, I reached out on Facebook on the Grand Incentives page. I posted on their page, as well as, sending a message about the situation and all that I had attempted in order to get my money back. I had my check in hand 3 days later. So for those frustrated and wanting to give up-hit up their Facebook page! Hope this will help you guys!

I submitted paperwork 3 times requesting different travel dates and none were available. When asked for the available dates I was told that they cannot give me any available dates. Therefore, on 6/26/2014 I submitted a request for my $50 refund. It's December 8, 2014 and I'm still waiting for my refund. I called Grand Incentives at least 4 times and I wa...

Did the rainbow demo for free 2 night stay with Grand Navigator first you have to pay $ 50.00 before you pick your dates and location wait 30 days for them to reply if you can use it on the dates picked and location. well guess what you never can use the dates or locations you pick always comes back and says pick 3 more locations and dates. i requested my fifty dollar refund back in July said 8 to 10 weeks to get the refund back. it has now been 14 weeks NO REFUND when i call they keep saying next week it will be mailed out and next week has never come yet. DO NOT Give them your fifty dollars to

I too did the rainbow demo (rainbows are not worth the money anymore so pass on that too) and got the pick tick vacation- so signed up in time for 3 possible places in Oct 2014 for June 2015. Of course i sent my $70 deposit and never heard back from them after they got my deposit so then I called to see my status on the trip in end of April 1st or 1st of May because needed to know since trip was for month of June 2015. The lady said i couldn't go to my 1st planned place - by this time I was not able to nor did i want to go to the other place she offered. The reason was she said my offer had expired. I said mam (still trying to be polite) if my offer was expired and no good why and how did they take my money to begin with to make this reservation? Needless to say, I told the woman to forget it ! I wanted a refund and she acted like I would get a refund. NOW, I would like to tell Grand navigator where they can go and without a deposit and no refund . and here it is Sept 2015 and of course still nothing! I had even sent an email in July of all the information i had receipts and verification to request a refund. I have tried calling this place and you are on hold so long I could of taken another vacation... WHATA RIP OFF! DO NOT FOOL WITH THIS BUSINESS ! you can find a decent and nice place to get away without using this BS place and BS don't mean Business either. STAY AWAY from GRAND NAVIGATOR more like GRAND ALIGATOR RIP YOU APART
DO NOT EVER DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY! They are affiliated with high pressure time shares sales pitches, NOTHING IS FREE, if it sounds too good to be true IT IS!
They will NEVER refund your deposit, they just ignore your calls and emails. Yet their sales people will still call you repeatedly with no clue that they are calling someone that they already screwed over. Also impossible to get off of their call list, despite giving an earful to their sales people before they quickly hang up. You will have to make repeated requests for locations and dates before they finally have anything available.
After a half dozen requests for my "Free" hotel stay that requires a deposit, I was finally approved for a stay in Atlantic City, right before Hurricane Sandy hit the area. After the storm hit, I get an email from them saying that they are no longer booking Atlantic City due to the storm. I am given two options, request a refund of my deposit or try to book different hotel dates and location. I request a refund, which they never send me. As the original date of my stay approaches, I receive information about my stay, which they had cancelled and I had requested a refund of my deposit on. They denied cancelling until I forward them all of my saved emails, then they just stop returning my calls and emails.
horrible
Grand Incentives is by far the worse company to go deal with. I sent my deposit in February and here it is September and haven't received it yet. I called at least twice every two weeks and be on hold for at least 45 min. And all they say is that your refund haven't been processed yet. They are a bunch of scam artist.

grand incentives is a scam
Grand Incentives is a SCAM! Do not give them any money. They offer you deals that seem too good to be true and that's because they are. They require you to go through a lengthy request process that rivals filling out a long form for your tax return that you must submit months in advance only to inform you at the deadline for the dates that you have requested that they don't have availability at any of the locations and you must submit another request form. They continue this process until you either give up or request a refund. Then, when you request a refund they tell you they will send you a check in 8-10 weeks. When the 8-10 week "processing" time has passed and you call to check on your refund, they will apologize for a problem in their accounting department and tell you they will be sending your refund in a week or two. A week or two passes, no check, and when you call you get the same 1-2 weeks response. Do yourself a favor and don't send them any money. If you already have, save yourself some time and go ahead and contact the Better Business Bureau. Maybe you can get your money back without having to get the run-around for months.

fraud
I was given a certificate with the option to upgrade. I did so, and registered my certificate through Their website on May 2, 2014.
I attempted to get in touch with your company to get a status update, and each time I have had to wait at least an hour to speak with someone. When the representative finally answered he was rude and confrontational when being asked simple questions. When I asked to speak with someone else, he stated that he was the only one I could speak with. He finally confirmed my trip information, and told me that I would not get a confirmation until 30 days before my chosen date.
Today, August 12th, I contacted the company again, and waited an hour before I reached a representative. It was the same individual I had spoken with in my initial contact with the company. After confirming my certificate number and code, he proceeded to tell me that I would not be able go to my chosen destination, that the website was wrong and they were changing the website, and that he had not confirmed the information with me in our previous contact. When I tried to explain that I had written confirmation, he became rude and refused to continue the conversation.
On both occasions of dealing with this company, the representative was rude and confrontational, refuses to let you finish a sentence, and hangs up on you when you try to explain that you have written confirmation of your requests.
I believe this is all in an effort to discourage the individual from using the certificate (in addition to Simplicity Life Travel charging you a fee when you register the certificate) that they say is refundable, but they won't refund your money.

Even though I saw many types of email complaints online...I still had trust that I would in fact receive a free hotel stay from your company as promised. At this point I am leaning towards believing its the TRUTH! I sent in my first form 11/2013...which of course came back as having "nothing available". I then sent another one-to which received the same...

This company is also involved in the time-sharing scam as well and may go under the name Grand Navigation as well. My fiancé was told she had one a trip after her name was pulled from a hat. This free vacation included airfare and a two or more hour sales pitch to convince us to buy time-shares in vacation property. We saw through it from the start - We left the sales person quite disappointed that he could not convince us. We went through 3 sales persons who kept dropping the price. When she went to call Grand Navigation we found that we had to pay $50.00 to register! Free you say? FYI - We had to give our credit card number to the time-sharing sales receptionist, of which we have cancelled that credit card - The security on the card could potentially be breached in dealing with these people. If it sounds too good to be true - It probably is people.

We received a free week vacation for viewing an overpriced vacuum demonstration. We had to pay $75.00 before we could even log into their system to arrange the vacation. And then we were told that we could pick a date but it would take about 30 days for them to confirm the date was available. This confirmation would be sent through the mail. If the date is not available then you pick another date and they would respond by mail. This could go on forever. When I asked for a refund in June they said the refund would take 8-10 weeks. It is now Dec 2nd and we still have no refund. When I called they said it will be here next week. We'll see.
unavailable dates
I got GRAND INCENTIVES - Golf & Spa Certificate from Ambit Energy, but this certificate cannot be used. I felt this company is fraud. I booked 6 months ago and arranged air tickets for whole family (4 people). 3 weeks before the booked date, they said unavailable dates. They don't disclose hotel name & person actually used certificate. I strongly recommend not to use Ambit Energy and GRAND INCENTIVES certificate as reward. You will disappointed like me. Is there any way to protect people like me?

refund
I made a travel plan was told it was not available and now have tried for 4 months to get a refund. I call and they hang up on me.
I attended a bridal show and was called twice in one day regarding a "free trip/honeymoon to an all-inclusive resort." To receive this "free" trip, my fiance and I would have to attend a pots and pan demonstration presented by "NutriChef." We went, although I was very skeptical. They did have some awesome products...but they were $5000 for a set! Yeah right! Prior to going I had Googled the name "NutriChef" several times just to come up with no negative reviews. They didn't harass us to buy anything and seemed very sincere about giving out these trips just to get their name out there. At the end of the presentation, they did provide us with the information on how to book our trip. The company they use to book the trips through is "Bella Bridal Network" who also goes by the name "Grand Incentives" AND "Simplicity Life Travel." After Googling all of these companies, here is what I gathered. There are a lot of reviews from people who didn't even go to the presentation and just assumed it was a scam. But here's the truth: yes, you in fact DO get a trip. HOWEVER (you should have known that was coming) there is a catch. Before you can book your trip, you have to pay $24.99 per person for an application fee. THEN, you have to pay $50 per person to upgrade your trip to all-inclusive. And of course you pay the taxes (the only cost that was mentioned in the presentation.) After you have paid that, you pick the top 3 destinations you would like to travel to along with the travel dates, and the travel dates for all 3 HAVE to be 30 days apart. They will not tell you which one you have received and you will not receive a confirmation after you put in the request. You have to physically CALL 30 days before the first choice and then they will most likely tell you to call back 30 days before your next selected date because that selection has no available rooms. You call back 30 days prior to the next selected date...same thing. Third? You guessed it, same thing! They will then apologize that all of your selections were unavailable and booked, and then send you to a destination of THEIR choice. (Yeah, good luck with getting a good rate for a plane ticket 30 days before you're scheduled to go on a trip.) At this point, you will probably accept anything because you are so annoyed and out about $250 (and about 3 months past your wedding) OR you will request a refund...which you will never get. I would prefer to skip the BS and just book where I want to go through the resort website and have the security of knowing I have a guaranteed honeymoon/trip booked. Like I said, it's hard to find actual reviews about someone really receiving the trip; mostly it is everyone being skeptical about the presentation (which can be from different companies than NutriChef) and automatically assuming it's scam. It is, but it isn't at the same time. While you get your trip, it's not entirely free. You will be paying taxes, application fees, upgrade fees AND lose a little bit of sanity along the line. Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is! Nothing in life is free. Good luck to you!
You are definintly a "SCAM OUTFIT" and complete FRAUD. Everyone need to runs when they are offered anything that has "Grand Incentives" name on it. Money, Money, Money is all you want from us. I puchased a "Your Gateway" vacation from Grand Incentives in early 2008. I completed all forms and mailed as directed. Here it is Aug 2008 and I have already paid $100.00 out of pocket expenses that I can not get a refund on.
One $50 was to make arrangements for the vacation and the other $50 was deposit money. Due to a death in my family I needed to re-schedule and was told I would have to pay an additonal $50 to do so. Each and every time I call no one seems to care; finally after consulting their supervisor I was told they would wave the $50 re-scheduling fee if I could come to the vacation spot (6 hrs away from my home) and when I ask to schedule closer to home then the same story about paying the additonal $50.00 came up. Money, Money, Money as I said...
is all these people want. If I keep paying the $50.00 I could pay for my own vacation which I will do because of all the reviews
I've read I certainly DO NOT want to stay where you people have any dealings. The "FREE" 2 night 3 day vacation is certainly not free. I advice each and everyone who reads this to run away as quickly as possible.
They are nothing but a SCAMMM..
gOOD LUCK TRYING TO GET ANYTHING BACK .
I have been traveling with them for years and never had a bad experience.
Arian Farah
I agree...I've had similar experiences...What agency can you write to about this outfit?
Grand Incentives is a scam. They do not have the rooms available and they do not return your deposit. I have been trying for 4 months to get my money back and each time they keep telling me that it will be mailed "this Friday". Its all a lie. I've spoken with Carol three time and Connie once, Connie says she's a supervisor [protected]). If a Rainbow Salesman from Gastonia NC offers you a free vacatrion to see his sales presentation then run like h#!.
printing planning form
I received a vacation certificate for sitting through a (5 hour) vaccum presentation. I tried to activate the certificate, following all prompts and successfully providing my banking account information (to cover the trip/kid fees). However, once I was prompted to print the planning form, I kept getting a web error (not connected to the internet/ website experiencing problems). I am connected to the website (I did this on my work computer). After several attempts I called the number listed. I called at 4:30 and I am still holding at 5:21pm. I realize the front end message states the office closes at 5pm, however I was hoping the company would at least clear the queque before ending the business day. The "hold music" is still playing and the operator is still asking me to continue to hold. I have already provided authorization for my account to be charged 70.00- all I want to do is print the planning form (that MUST accompany all other documentation). THIS IS A NIGHTMARE!UGH

I was told that I would receive a 3-day 2-night stay for listening to Rainbow Vacuum Cleaner demonstration. After listening to their spill for almost 2 hours, I looked online at www.grandnavigator.com. IT'S A SCAM! They will "supposedly" refund you a $50 deposit on a room. This is NOT a 3-day & 2-night stay. This is FALSE ADVERTISING & very misleading. And from what I have read from the reviews about grandnavigator.com, I DO NOT want to attempt to deal with any shysters!
I've been having the same issue. Stayed on the phone over 30 mins only to have the call disconnected. Called and was on hold another 30 mins only to be told they don't know why the error is occurring and just mail in the form that was mailed to me. It takes 30 days to process registration and another 45 days after I return my planning guide. Grand Navigator Sucks big time
thieving thugs
This is a scam.
This company offers certificates for "free" hotel stays at various locations in the US.
When registering a certificate for the "free" vacation, you are required to put a $50 deposit. You may never see that money again. Operators are rude and ignorant.
The vacation dates and location are not available no matter how flexible you are with travel; you will not hear from this place
When you call, there is at least a 30min wait on hold (no toll free numbers) and at 5p all calls are dropped no matter how long you have been on hold.
Your certificate will expire and you will not travel anywhere. Extremely unethical business practice, This company needs to be shut down.

false advertisement
This complaint does not fall into one category but many. Our primary concern is that the sales representatives misrepresented incentives to join.
Our first and most important complaint is that we purchased this item under the impression that we would receive several incentives and one major annual credit. I would like to describe each incentive in detail and then our issue with the annual discount. But in case consumer's reading this do not make it through this entire post they should know one thing: WE DID NOT RECEIVE OUR PACKAGE UNTIL 6 WEEKS AFTER PURCHASE, AFTER 30 DAY GRACE PERIOD. WE HAD TO CALL TO REQUEST OUR INCENTIVE DETAILS AND ENTIRE VACATION PACKAGE. prior to receiving our package we only had online access to inventory- nothing else. no fine print to read. no way to know what we were in for.
1) We were told we would receive 2, 200 dollars in airfare and accommodations to the destination of our choice. When we called to ask about how to utilize this incentive we were told to talk to "the people in the bahamas where you bought your package". These "people in the Bahamas" do not have publicly available contact info, do not answer when called and do not, in any case, call you back. How are we supposed to collect on an incentive when we can not get ahold of anyone to discuss this? They never intended to give us a cent.
2)We were told that we could receive two flight passes to Hawaii within the first two years of membership for FREE. When we received our package we read the fine print to find that we would need to spend 3500 dollars over the course of 14 days on hotel/resort stays in order to get our "FREE" flights. 249 dollars a night- far higher than any of their resort deals approach. You must send a refundable deposit in order to have your request processed and will only receive your refund once you complete your travels.
3) The free resort week requires a 125 dollar per person reservation service fee. That's nearly the price of their normal short term resort week (250-300 typically). So your getting nothing FREE. maybe you save 20 bucks. maybe. NOT A DEAL. NOT FREE. NOT WHAT WE WERE TOLD.
4) Hotel Access pass for discounts on hotels is only on the highest rate, and only for certain months. Basically you could find the same discounts by calling the hotel and asking for their lowest rate.
5)Cruises.. well I don't even like them.. but they are offered as 39.95 a night per person and then when you read the fine print (which again we couldn't for 6 weeks) it tells you that the 40 dollars is ON TOP OF a 2 night charge of 80-100 dollars a person. SOME DEAL!
There are more let downs, but those are the top FIVE..Basically everything offered as an incentive for signing up is not what it was presented to be.
These incentives were important in our decision to sign up with Coast to Coast in January. But there was another membership discount that convinced us to sign up: 500 dollars towards airfare each year.
Sounds great.
But of COURSE the fine print is there to ruin the day--- I'll just quote it, because I wanna get it just right.
"For a base fare between 200 and 299, the card is valid for a maximum of 25 dollars. for airfare between 300 and 399 the card is valid for a maximum rebate of 50 dollars, for airfare of 400-499 dollars the card is valid for a maximum of 75 dollars, for airfare of 500 dollars or more the card is valid for a maxiumum of 100 dollars."
So at the very least you have to book 5 flights a year to get the refund! The flights have to be booked through grand incentives and I would BET that they are getting a kick back equivalent if not even on top of the refund of 25, 50, 75 or 100 dollars they are hoping not to give you (you have to mail in your ticket stubs? what year is this...?)We have tried to discuss this with the so called "quality assurance" and "customer service" departments in Florida. Time and again we are transferred, disconnected, hung-up on, promised a return call, etc. No one ever calls back.
First we would like the fraud to STOP. We would like for the Bahamas branch to be shut down.
Second we would like a FULL refund of our 12, 000 dollar membership fees. We do not wish to do further business with such a sloppy and irresponsible company who lies.
We are in the process of disputing the charges through our credit card companies. We intend to contact the companies that do business with coast to coast, direct or indirect, and inform them of the scam they are supporting. We do not plan to be quiet until this issue is resolved.
Last year, Mark Biondi told me that if I paid a one time fee or $398.00 or something I don't remember the exact amount... Anyway I was told we would never have to pay maintenance again. Now I am getting phone calls that if I pay another two years blah blah... I am not happy.. He flat out lied to me...
not giving what they are supposed to
I went to a seminar at Direct Buy and I was told that I would get two free air tickets. I was unable to print out the planning form, so I called and was told they would send me one in the mail. I've called at least TEN times, no lie, and each time the person on the other end told me I would get it in the mail. She confirmed that they've received all the paperwork, and that they would mail out the planning form. I've tried numerous times to print it and it never prints. This is a problem on your end, not mine as I've tried several computers and have had a computer expert try for me as well. I tried to log on today and got a message that I never had registered, which is a total lie, because about a month ago, I logged on several times to see what is happening with my "certificate". You are very dishonest and very bad business. I will complain and write letters to D & B among others. To call over TEN times, and not get any help...TERRIBLE.

I tried to schedule a vacation using my certificate multiple times and every time I was told the area and times requested were not available. This company pretends to provide two-day vacations for people attending a time-sharing presentation. We attended a program in Atlantic City, NJ, and declined to buy. After many attempts, we were able t book two nights at Ramada Plaza in Fort Lauderdale, FL. We needed to cancel the reservation, but could not reach the company until the day before our scheduled arrival Jan. 15. They took an hour to answer the phone. Then they declined to return our reservation payment. The money is probably gone, but the company should be notified of its deceptive practices, and censured. Thir confirmation # is 1592915.

scam! not a free hotel stay. company will not refund my $70
I received a Grand Incentive certificate for a FREE 2 night hotel stay. I paid $70 during registration and mailed in my 3 hotel location/dates in November 2012. I was denied all 3 choices and was told to resubmit my choices. After hearing horrible reviews about Grand Incentives and booking my own trip, I requested a refund. I have made 3 attempts to contact them with no response. (Email in December: no response, Email from website in January: no response & Called & left a message in January: no response) I am extremely frustrated and irate that Grand Incentives quickly took my $70 deposit/registration money for they're FREE hotel stay but I am unable to get any responses from them about getting a refund. Grand Incentives is a joke! They portray themselves as giving FREE services when in fact all they're doing is taking people's money. I will continue contacting them more vigilantly now in attempt to get my refund for services they never provided.

What the hell? we have been trying to book a vacation since Nov .It is one big run around and every time you call you get a different answer and different person .No conversation is ever the same . They need help big time. This is something I would not recommend to anyone. You call during business hours and if your close to the there hours of end time they will just send you to voice mail.
Frustrating...Frustrating... DO NOT USE THIS CO. FOR ANYTHING
I'm starting to feel ripped off as well. They won't take my calls, but they have my money as well!
scam
i have been trying to contact this company for a week and no one ever picks up the phone, I'm on hold for at least half an hour and still no one picks up the phone, i just need to let them know that i sent them my form via certified mail but the business was closed for the day and they need to reschedule delivery because only the receiver can reschedule it, not the sender. i have already given 740$ to this company for my trip for me and my husband to visit family in Hawaii and so far it has been nothing but the runaround, I'm starting to think that my 740$ is money i just wasted, being a mom of three foster children i surely do not have this kind of money to be wasting and its sad that these companies who promise you so much can do this to a family.

We received a "free" vacation for attending a time share presentation with Global Travel Network. We followed the instructions for submitting for our "free" vacation. After spending $20.00 to $30.00 in an endless stream of having to mail different items in, everyone with deadlines. And then spending "$200.00 in fees they "VOIDED" our vacation because of one small mistake on one of the forms. They DO NOT give you a chance to correct that mistake. They did refund the $200.00 but your still out the time and money in postage and money order fees. Definately a scam not worth the effort.
We just recently went to global travels and received the "free" vacation. I was wondering if you could tell me what was your mistake and which trip you chose? Thanks, Tammy
