Very interesting - I just looked over the weekend - had similar charges. I called them and they were closed over the weekend. So not only did they charge this month - they have been charging my credit card since January. I don't know how I missed it. So I called my credit card company and it's not being charged as revolving which mean monthly someone is entering my information from TLG*GREATFUN. I called them this morning, pushed zero and demanded to speak to a manager. After getting a speal from the woman on the phone about what great offers they can provide to me - BLA BLA - THIS IS A SCAM! Management credited my Visa for the last four months and said I would have to contact Corporate to reverse the other charges. Call them now... Great Fun - [protected] - and their Corporate Fax number is [protected].

I am steaming mad after reading all the complaints. I, too, am one of you who is a victim of this company. I have $11.99 charged to my account for April and also May, and like others, today is Saturday and they are not open. I have to wait until Monday. Is there any hope?

I recieved a $119.99 charge supposedly made in February but posted in May. My credit card not only had to block the charge - but completely closed my account and had to open a new account. Now I have to wait 14 days for a new card to come in. I also tried to phone on the weekend and had no luck.

I travel 4 days a week for work and didn't realize I was being charged $11.99 per month since November 2007 on a credit card that I have not been using as I am paying it off. My fault for not looking at the charges but I never authorized this charge. I payed off the total due and low and behold a charge is on my bill for $11.99. Not only that but my credit card company charged me a late fee because of this charge! I called my credit card company and all they could tell me is that I've been charged since 11/07. I didn't even know the name of the company as it comes up on the bill as follows; TLG*GREATFN555... CT. I am assuming the state is Connecticut because of the CT at the end of the charge on the card.

It is in dispute with my credit card company and they are calling this bogus company to get my money back.

I cancelled my membership before the trial period expired. This company has charged my account twice. I have called them again and they assured me this time it would be done and that my account will be refunded in 12 days. This time I got the id # of the person I spoke to.

These jerk offs got me too. I checked my bank account today and immediately called TLG, they said they would cancel my service and refund my money in 7- 10 business days and then tried to offer other crap to me. I somehow was mislead to the sight through PRICELINE.COM so please be careful when using them. I will post again when and if I see my money.

I am Canadian and have just noticed charges from these ripoff agents since November of 2007 for 12.99 a month. I travel extensively, so it's hard for me to notice small charges like this (yes - my bad - I know).
Anyway, they say that they will reimburse me. Gave me a cancellation confirmation and a fax number etc.
The miracle will be if I am ever reimbursed anything and more importantly not charged in the future.
I too was hijacked through Orbitz - too bad 'cause it's a good travel site.
I'll post again if I get my money back.

An unauthorized charge appeared on my credit card bill from Great Fun. I called customer service and was told that it was been removed-----but what a hassle! According to complaints read on this website, it seems to be a common occurrence with this company. Don't even click on their website or you might be charged.

I have never used the credit card I got this fraudulent charge on with Orbitz so there must be some other way they are getting this information.

I was recently scammed by TLG the same as everyone else here. My husband and I went on vaction and purchased or tickets, car, and hotel online. The charges can from the website where we purchased the tickets... it showed as a 15% rebate for our total trip price. I called and was able to stop the charges and get my money back that was charged. But in the following months other companies that are affliated with TLG such as Great Fun (11.99), Reservation Protection(12.00), Identity Secure(119.99), etc began making charges to my account. I called again to stop the charges... so far they have cooperated and have not made any more charges but let see if the rutrn the $119.99.

I made a purchase through FOOT SMART and after I made the purchase you are asked at the end if you would like more great savings. I must have clicked yes but do not remember doing so. After clicking yes all your credit card info is sent to this company and they start charging you $11.99 for coupons. I do not remember receiving any coupons. Who in their right mind would pay $11.99 a month for coupons? I called the 800 number on my credit card statement and they said they would cancel my membership and return the money. I then called FOOT SMART and they are completely aware of this and seem to have no problem with this company doing this. I told them I would never order again from them and I was going to file a complaint with the BBB. The girl seemed fine with this too. THIS IS A BIG SCAM!

Just ripped into fandango.com since that seems to be where "GreatFun" got my information from. They did not deny that they could have been the source of where "GreatFun" got my info from. They said at the end of each purchase there is a popup ad and if you merely click on it then they automatically trasnfer your informtin to Great Fun/. The NERVE! Fandango sais they no l9onger do business with these people.

I have gotten cought twice now but this company. This time they hit me twice in a 9 day period for 12.99 on a credit card I had not used in over 3 months. I am not sure how they do it but some how they sneak it in when I buy airline tickets or atleast that is what they say when I call to complain. The first time my credit card company took the charge off, I hope that happens again. It is not so much the money but the principle. I hope enough people complain and eventually this scam can be shut down.

I have not read all of the previously posted information, there's just to much of it. Two nights ago was checking out my bank account online and noticed an interesting charge of $11.99 that occured on 6-27-08. The next day I went to my bank and the provided me with the phone number for Great Fun, [protected]. I talked to a man named Christian that could barely speak English. After many attempts to get me to continue with this service that I never signed up for, he told me that I had been automatically enrolled through and online auction site, propertyroom.com. I finally got him to shut up long enough to cancel any further charges and issue a refund. Today I found this site through a Google search and read the first couple of posts. This prompted me to check my account again and I found that I was also charged on 5-22-08 so I promptly called Great Fun again and Noella assures me that this other charge will also be refunded within 10 business days. We'll see. Now I get to email propertyroom.com and yell at them for allowing something like this to happen through their site.

The same thing happened to me. I was looking at my credit card statement and it showed a $119.99 charge and I had no idea what it was. I googled the name TLG Great Fun and a whole bunch of rip off complaints came up. The next day I called the company and after about 20 min of waiting I finally talked to someone. She told me that I check was mailed to my house and in cashing that check they received verification to charge my credit card. The whole thing doesn't make since because I never just cash checks that are sent to me like this. She gave to the whole "Benefits to the program speech ". In the end the she said she would refund my money and discontinue my membership. This is a lesson in checking your bank statements. I only look at my statements every few months because they are sent to my fathers house. I know now to check them all the time. Thanks to everyone how made complaints! Oh and I would use the [protected] # and ask for a rep, the first time I called the system hung up on me.

THIS FRAUD IS PERPETUATED BY MONEY HUNGRY LAWYERS...i too noticed a $11.99 charge on my recent credit card activity. I called Chase...the customer service rep practically finished my sentence. 'Obviously you have been hearing this a lot.' He said, 'Yes, sir, every day.' E V E R Y D A Y ! ! ! ! ! Why wouldn't credit card companies stop making this charge to people's credit cards? because they are making money too. The only people who are not making money are people like me whose credit card is charged. Get this...the Chase customer rep asked me to wait a minute, put me on hold and the next thing I know I am talking to a TLG Great Fun rep. I asked if they work in the Chase bldg, he said no. I blew up at this guy who promised to cancel my account. CANCEL MY ACCOUNT...how on earth did i open an account with TLG Great Fun you may ask. I purchased an Airtran Airline ticket in May. As has been mentioned above, some airline companies are 'offering' this discount program when you purchase a ticket. You have no choice but to sign up if you want their discount price. A REAL SCAM! Call your credit card company...Chase at [protected]. Call TLG Great Fun at [protected] or [protected] (ask for Adrian...I just ranted at her for 20 minutes). Call Airtran Customer Relations at [protected] (ask for Nikki...i just ranted at her for 20 minutes too). How do these people sleep at night, how do they get themselves motivated to work for companies that scam and rip people off. They must be on some really good medication or paid a hell of a lot of money. Maybe if we bug the crap out of them by calling and taking up their time with nonsense, they might be forced to shut down. Then again, the lawyers will figure out a way to sue us and make more money. I hope they all rot with all their money around them.

This is the second time I have had problems with Great fun. I have never been able to take advantage of any of there programs and never found a business that would honor the card let alone ever heard of the company. I do believe my states Attorney General may be interested in hearing about my problems with Great Fun.

apparently when i bought my plane tickets at air tran's website, at the end of transaction. great fun has a $20 offer. i just clicked on the link to see what its about. wasn't interested, then closed paged. i guess just going to their page, means you're buying their product! don't buy at airtran! i had one of the worse flying experiences with airtran.

Yes they just suckered me in and I didnt read the fineprint.
They said I will not be charged anything if I cancel within 30 days.
after rading other testimonials I have a feeling they have other company names they can charge u from so look out.
My own fault for not reading the terms.
I also blame priceline for using them.
good luck

I received a charge today from TLG Great Fun via my debit card. I called my bank, they cancelled my card to stop any further charges. My bank has credited my account. I finally got in contact with Great Fun (they're computers were down earlier). I spoke with William. As stated in the other posts, he tried to sell me on how much great savings I'd receive, blah, blah, blah...I said no, remove me from your membership.

I asked how did my card get associated with their company, and he told me from Fandango.com. I purchased tickets to see Sex and the City, and they slipped that charge in. I didn't even notice it. According to William, I received the first month free, and got a charge of $11.99 paying "my" membership up through August 9th. I received a cancellation number, and he said that I should see a refund in 10-15 days.

I just called Priceline, found out when my wife bought the tickets for our trip from priceline, she clicked the area that said click her for our 15% cash back (which we never received). They are very good about taking your money but not so good about giving you what they advertise (I didn't look into their agreement about why we haven't received anything, should have been $50 because that is the max or 15% of the ticket purchase price $50 being the maximum).
Priceline accepts NO responsibility for the situation and if one does not read the terms in the box to the left of the area where you would sign up for the one month free membership, they clearly state you will be charged 11.99 per month afterward. However, we never received anything that would help us use the other "great fun" activities such as Blockbuster, Jiffy Lube or what have you.
SO, to end this account one MUST call them and request they cancel your membership and also ask for the cash back reward they NEVER sent. Good luck!
Get a dispute letter from your bank and fill out the info you get when you call so you can be one step ahead when they fail to cancel your membership, some banks will not go to bat for you without proof you tried to contact them yourself first. My credit union calls this a Cardholder Dispute Form. Ensure you get the representatives name, phone number you called, the time you called in your time zone, the trip request number associated with your purchase, and the card number you used.
