Don't go for any repair service
Don't go for any repair service. Worst experience ever, very unprofessional repair service, rude employees. Got my car in for a regular oil change, they rolled my passenger window down, didn't come back up, wanted to charge me $817 to replace window regulator. They put a piece of wood on my window to prevent it from falling into the door. Very rude and unprofessional staff.
The buying experience was great
The buying experience was great. Tiger (***) was very helpful and made the experience smooth. Getting my new vehicle service has been a nightmare. The button on the seat broke and I had a few paint spots that needed to be fixed a month after getting this brand new 2021 Grand Jeep Cherokee L. I have been given the run around for over two months. When I finally got the message that my parts were ready, I called the next day and I got the run around for 30 minutes and no one really knows when the paint guy is there. I am truly annoyed. I will not recommend anyone to this location for service.
My wife took her 2019 Grand Cherokee to Gwinnett Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram after it stopped working in the middle of a busy intersection
My wife took her 2019 Grand Cherokee to Gwinnett Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram after it stopped working in the middle of a busy intersection. Stephanie, the Service Advisor, said the repairs were under warranty but didn't have a rental car available. Stephanie finally gave us a rental car the next day and it was really dirty. When our car was fixed, we were surprised to find out that the bill of almost $2000.00 wasn't covered, and even though we're struggling financially because of the pandemic, they wanted their money right away. Chaz, the Service Director, even threatened to report the rental car as stolen if we didn't bring it back immediately. We paid the bill but had to wait an extra day for our car because of a mistake from the service department. They were rude, unprofessional, and irresponsible... WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!
If you wanna get your car fixed at a dealership with a reliable auto service department, don't go to Gwinnett Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Stone
If you wanna get your car fixed at a dealership with a reliable auto service department, don't go to Gwinnett Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Stone Mountain, GA at 5054 Highway 78 East. I've never been so disappointed in the service I got.
I've been having issues with my AC and since it's been crazy hot, driving without it is unbearable. I took my car to this place on June 1 to get it checked and get an estimate for fixing the AC. They hit me with a $3600 estimate to replace the evaporator core and AC compressor (parts + labor included). They said both had to be replaced and my AC would work fine. I've never spent that much on a car repair before. I was hesitant but desperate because of the heat, so I gave in. I had taken it to another place before, but they couldn't fix it because it's a complicated job. That was on a Monday and I had to take an Uber home. By Wednesday, they said it wouldn't be done until Friday, so they gave me a rental. But on Friday, they said it wouldn't be ready until the next week because it was taking longer than expected.
On the following Wednesday, June 10, they said my car was ready for pickup. I got my car (which wasn't cleaned). But on Friday, June 12, MY AC STILL WASN'T WORKING, even after paying over $3300 (they knocked off $300). I was angry and frustrated. So they gave me a rental and kept my car over the weekend. The week of June 15, I got my car back after they said they fixed a leak they didn't see before. They didn't charge me because it was a small amount. For the next week and a half, I barely drove because of COVID-19. But I realized my AC still wasn't working properly.
On June 30, I called Stephanie Johnson, the service consultant I've been dealing with. She's been patient and understanding. This review isn't about her. She said I could bring it in the next day and they'd have a rental ready in case I had to leave my car. I couldn't make it the next day because I was out of town. I wanted to drive a good distance to see if my AC was really not working. And it wasn't.
I got back in town and took my car in FOR THE THIRD TIME IN A MONTH on Tuesday, July 7. Stephanie wasn't there, so I left my car with Christopher. He was nice but couldn't tell me much. They said no rentals were available, so they gave me a ride home.
On Thursday, July 9, Austin called and said they found another leak and it would cost an additional $1063 to fix it! More money for a $3300 service that didn't fix my original problem. I told Austin I wouldn't pay for that and I'm disgusted and don't trust them anymore. I shouldn't have to pay anything more because the $3300 didn't fix what they said it would. I asked Austin to send someone to get me the next morning. I said morning because I didn't want to be in my car in the heat with no AC by noon. He said he'd call in the morning to confirm. But by 10:30 am on July 10, I hadn't heard from Austin. I called and reminded him I was waiting for his call. By noon, someone picked me up.
I went to the dealership and Stephanie told me to talk to her about getting my car. After a while, she said my car would be ready in the next hour and a half because they needed to put back the parts they took off to check my AC. Why did Austin send someone to get me when my car wasn't ready? And why wasn't my car put back together from the previous day? So it just sat there overnight in pieces? I don't blame Stephanie because she just got my paperwork when I arrived. She didn't even know I brought my car back because she was out. So they gave me a ride back home where I'm writing this long review because I paid a lot for a service that didn't fix my AC and...I'm still waiting for them to tell me my car is ready and send someone to pick me up or drop off my car. It's 4:05 pm now. Remember, they picked me up at noon.
If they don't give me a refund, I'll find another way to get this fixed. But for now, screw this place and I won't recommend it to anyone.

I've been having problems with my car for a while now
I've been having problems with my car for a while now. I've had to take it to the dealership more than 10 times for the same issue. It's been there for over 50 days since I bought it, and the problems still haven't been fixed.
After a recall service, my truck is now showing all kinds of trouble lights, including the engine light and others
After a recall service, my truck is now showing all kinds of trouble lights, including the engine light and others. It also lacks power after reaching 50 mph. My truck has been at the dealer since 09/30, and this is my working truck. I really need my truck to be in the same condition or even better than before the shop started working on it. Thank you.
I called the dealership on September 23rd
I called the dealership on September 23rd. I went in today, September 24, to get my car serviced. They told me they didn't have a diesel mechanic to check my car. I asked to speak to the manager, Chad. He wasn't helpful at all and was very rude and unprofessional to me. I wouldn't recommend anyone to get their car serviced at this dealership because they're very unprofessional.

I axed for the military cash bonus and was told to wait till after and I can git it in cash after the purchase
I axed for the military cash bonus and was told to wait till after and I can git it in cash after the purchase. I now know this ain't true and I am out $500. First lie. The salesman told me I could do all the paperwork on line so all I would have to do is come in and sign a couple forms that need a wet signature. The finance manager called and asked if I would do it in the dealership and promised it would take no more than 30 minutes. I was actually over 1.5 hours. I find it hard to believe that he is that unfamiliar with own process so lie number 2 was either for his convenience or to get me in the office and try to upsell. Bait and switch. The car was fine.
In March, I bought a new Chrysler Pacifica Pinnacle from Gwinnet Chrysler Jeep Ram
In March, I bought a new Chrysler Pacifica Pinnacle from Gwinnet Chrysler Jeep Ram. When it was time to pay for my ride, which I did with cash, Nicholas *** sold me some extra plans. I inquired about a prepaid oil change and tire rotation plan and asked if it covered me 100% at any dealership in the country. Nicholas assured me it did. Later, I tried to use the plan at a different local dealership, but they refused it. Turns out, Nicholas didn't know it was only valid at their dealership and tried to double-check because they had been selling it this way "forever". I demanded a full refund since I wouldn't have bought it if I knew this. They only offered me a partial refund, which is not cool. They messed up and sold me something with false info. I want all my money back.
On July 21, I took my 2015 Jeep Patriot to Gwinnett's Jeep service shop
On July 21, I took my 2015 Jeep Patriot to Gwinnett's Jeep service shop. There was this strange noise coming from the engine, and it was shaking too. They started diagnosing my car, and after an hour, they told me that I needed a new alternator. The cost? A whopping $1,123.96! So, I paid the hefty price and got a shiny new alternator. But guess what? Not even three days later, I hear that same noise again. Frustrated, I called them up and explained that I just got a new alternator, so I shouldn't be having these problems. I asked if they could take a look at it. But instead of helping me, they gave me the runaround and said they were fully booked until next week (which was a big fat lie, by the way). So, I had to wait for a whole week, and during that time, I was driving to work when suddenly, I couldn't go beyond Hwy 78. Turns out, my pulley fell off, and the belt got all loose. I had to get my truck towed back to the shop that very day. They inspected my truck and told me that the tension spring had gone bad, and I needed a new compressor. The cost this time? A staggering $1,900! And to top it all off, my truck was damaged under their care! Can you believe it? SMH.
On December 12, I took my 2015 Chrysler 200C to Gwinnett CDJR 'cause it had some electrical problems
On December 12, I took my 2015 Chrysler 200C to Gwinnett CDJR 'cause it had some electrical problems. I paid them $901.98 for the repair, but guess what? It didn't even last a whole day! I had to take my car back to them on December 18th. Can you believe they kept my ride for a whole 4 weeks? They said they were talking to the Chrysler engineers to fix the problems. Then, on January 15, I had to cough up another $776.08. And you know what happened? The repairs didn't even last 24 hours again! So, I asked for some money back, but the Service Manager said they'd give me free labor, but I'd have to pay $580.00 for the parts. But here's the kicker, he couldn't even guarantee that they'd fix the issue! I mean, seriously? I've already spent over $1600 and they've had so many chances to fix it, but they haven't. Why would I spend another $600 if they can't even promise it'll be fixed? I tried contacting Chrysler's Corporate Customer Service Center, but they barely responded. All I want is for them to fix it without charging me more or give me some of my money back.
Me and my old dad, we paid $3,700 to get our Jeep's cooling system fixed at Gwinnett Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram
Me and my old dad, we paid $3,700 to get our Jeep's cooling system fixed at Gwinnett Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. But guess what? It came back with all sorts of crazy problems! Suddenly, the "check oil" light started flashing, but we couldn't even check the oil 'cause the dipstick was stuck! And get this, these problems never existed before they laid their hands on our car. We got people who saw it happen, even some mechanics, and they can vouch for us. So, we took the car back to them, and guess what happened next? The engine started making this weird "knocking" sound. Neil, one of the guys there, told us that a messed-up oil pan caused the engine to fail 'cause the oil pressure got all low. And you know what he said? The only way to fix it is to cough up $8,500 for a brand new engine! Can you believe that? Neil tried to make me think that the oil pan and dipstick problems were just a big coincidence, like they had nothing to do with the work they did. But I ain't no fool! I told him we got witnesses and I ain't afraid to take 'em to court. So, he passed me on to this guy Chaz, who's supposed to be the "service manager." Let me tell you, Chaz tried to feed me a bunch of lies for days, but eventually, they had to admit that they messed up installing the oil pan. But here's the kicker, they won't fix the engine damage they caused! Can you believe the nerve of these guys?
Gwinnett Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram has a really weird and not cool survey thing going on
Gwinnett Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram has a really weird and not cool survey thing going on. Here's what happened: 1. The person in charge of helping me with my service sent me an email explaining that they need all positive answers and perfect scores on the survey. They said it's how they get paid. Anything less than a Yes or a 10 is considered a fail. 2. I had to fill out a bunch of pages on their mobile app, like 15 of them! Some pages had 2 or 3 questions. That's like over 20 questions! 3. I don't want the nice employee to lose out on their pay, so I can't give honest feedback. I have to say Yes or 10 all the time. I did leave some comments about being unhappy, but I hope it doesn't affect the employee. It just makes the 15 pages even more ridiculous. 4. They keep emailing me and calling me nonstop until I do this survey thing. It should be optional, but it's not. They've been bugging me with emails and phone calls until I finish this long survey. 5. It's not my job as a customer to watch over and give feedback on the employees. That's what the managers are supposed to do. I know because I'm a manager myself.
My 2012 Dodge Durango has been havin' issues with the tipm and fuel pump relay for years
My 2012 Dodge Durango has been havin' issues with the tipm and fuel pump relay for years. These parts have been recalled for the past 8 years, and Dodge lost a lawsuit in 2015 'cause these parts were found to be defective. You can check out the article about the tipm/relay here (https://www.classlawgroup.com/chrysler-totally-integrated-power-module-tipm-lawsuit/ and here https://***.com/lawsuit-settlements/closed-settlements/dodge-jeep-faulty-fuel-pump-class-action-settlement/). They've replaced both of these parts twice for me 'cause the car wouldn't start when I pressed the push start button. But now, the car won't start for 20 minutes after I turn it off. I took it to the dealer for a diagnostic and called the corporate office, but nobody seems to know what the problem is, even though research suggests it's related to the ***. The dealer made a video diagnosin' the issue, but they still couldn't fix it. I tried reachin' out to the lawyer who started the lawsuit to get some advice. I also started an online petition and got over 100 signatures so far. I wanna know if we have any legal options or what we should do next. I'm tryin' to make Dodge take responsibility for replacin' my tipm for the third time. My car won't start, and I'm stuck sittin' in 90-degree weather with no AC until it decides to start again. This is dangerous, and Dodge and its dealers need to address it! Thanks! The car problems started in January and the repairs have been happening over and over again
The car problems started in January and the repairs have been happening over and over again. It's frustrating because we have to spend more money on fixing things that should have been fixed properly the first time. Since January , my husband and I have spent $4123.56, including $100 for towing. It may not seem like a lot over a year, but it's a significant amount for repetitive repairs that shouldn't have been necessary in the first place.
Recently, we had a tune-up done to fix the engine light issue and make the car pass emissions. However, the engine light came back on after only 45 minutes, along with the previous issues that had been repaired twice before. We had to tow the car to the dealership again, and they told us that the *** assembly was going bad again, and we needed a new engine. I asked if the *** assembly going bad was the reason for needing a new engine, but they couldn't give me a definite answer.
In December , my car was fine, and there was no mention of needing a new engine. But now, in February 2022, suddenly I need a new engine? The Service Manager, ***, told me they were looking for a used engine with a warranty because *** quoted me $8500 for a brand new one, which is too expensive for us. Then *** called and quoted me $6500 for all the work needed to get the car running again. That's still not affordable! And to make matters worse, HE quoted me $11,000 for the new engine. So whose quote is correct? Both quotes are outrageous considering that the engine problem could have been caused by the parts they put on the car in the first place. We deserve an investigation into this matter.
