In October I made a $500 deposit to order a custom vehicle. I was told the order would be on backorder but I should expect it no later than March. I was also told I could terminate the agreement at any time and receive a full refund. In March this year, I asked for a refund. I was I had to give them time to orient themselves due to the COVID-19 shutdown. Later I was told they could not find my name in the system. I provided proof of my deposit. Last week I attempted to contact someone to update me on the progress of my refund. The customer service person took my contact information but no one has contacted me in over a week.

On 2//2020 I put down a "refundable" deposit of $500 to locate a 2020 Kia Soul that I wished to purchase. My sales rep assured me it was only to locate the car and could be refunded, which I agreed to. Upon purchase, he mentioned I'd put $500 down and I corrected him, saying it was not part of the purchase agreement, just to locate the car, and that I wanted my $500 back. The Finance Manager said he would get that done. That was 2//2020. The $500 is not listed on the contract at all, the deposit receipt says "refundable," and yet I've yet to receive repayment. I have tried several times to contact the dealership, leaving voice mails and emails, to no avail. I spoke to someone from corporate who said he could not take action on behalf of the dealership, as they operate independently, but that he would forward my complaint to them. That was on 5//2020. Still no response from Yonkers Kia.

I purchased a 2014 Hyundai Sante Fe from this dealership, they received payment from Capital One who I financed with, they were supposed to bring this vehicle through inspections and Emissions, come to find out that never took place. I received an email from Betty in their Mitir Vehicke department stating the vehicle needs to be inspected and go through Connecticut Emissions, they were already paid from Capital One and this should have been done like they stated to me before they delivered the vehicle. Also Lou and Matt the salesman stated by text that they ordered two plastic covers missing from the inside of the vehicle and that was never done, they stated I would receive them by ***, and never did. The remote for the alarm was broken and I was told when Lou dropped off the vehicle I would receive a new one and never did and the right axle and staring colum is making a noise when you turn the wheel. I have not heard from either salesman. Just from Betty stating the vehicle needs to be inspected and taken through Emisdions.

On February **, I went to KIA to get my car serviced
On February , I went to KIA to get my car serviced. They said I should go inside to speak with a salesperson to see about leasing a new car even though I still had 8 payments left on my car. The car salesman I dealt with did not disclose all the information when I was looking to lease a new car. He did not mention that the car did not have Sirius Radio capabilities and I wanted a car that had that option. When I came back later in the day to sign the lease, the monthly amount was incorrect which I did not notice because the financial advisor pointed to where I needed to sign and I trusted that the numbers were correct. They quickly moved me out of my old car and into the new one and made me leave the lot. I had told the salesperson that I wanted to build my taxes into the monthly payments. He incorrectly calculated the monthly amount to include taxes and fees of 1765.86 when the correct amount was 1548.36. He also divided 1765.86 by 36 months but the lease is 39 months. I contacted KIA and left messages on numerous occasions. I finally spoke to the financial person and he told me I would have to come in person to sign a new lease. I also spoke to the salesperson who leased me the car and he acknowledged that he had made a mistake and KIA would install a Sirius radio for me into the car. I had spoken to numerous people at KIA regarding installing the radio and what that would entail. They all said they would find out and get back to me. No one ever called me back. I went into the dealership on February *** and the same person, Matt A, who told me I had to come in to sign new lease, tells me they don't give new leases and he would cut me a check for the difference. He calculates it to be 300. He had no interest in listening to my issues or really wanting to help me. He told me 300 dollars was really not that big of a deal which I found to be really rude and inconsiderate. He told me he would give me a loaner while someone installed the remote sirius radio into the car. I called back during the week to get more information about what the Sirius radio would look like and no one called me back. On March ***, I texted Matt to show him that his calculations were incorrect and I was owed 471.51. He never responded to my text message. I called him on March *** and I had to leave a message. He never called me back. The I spoke to him on March *** and he was rude and obnoxious. He said yes he would have the check for 471.51 made up and mailed out on Friday. He told me Sal would call me later in the day to discuss installing the Sirius Radio. In the conversation, Matt acknowledged that he saw my text message but didn't respond. Sal never called me to discuss the Sirius Radio. Monday March ***, I said if i don't hear back from someone I would file a complaint with ComplaintsBoard.com. He never responded. I called the dealership again and asked to speak to the owners or Sal. Once again no one ever called back. On Monday March *** I texted Matt to ask if the check was mailed out, I have still not heard back. This dealership is full of unprofessional men. The put the wrong monetary amount on the lease and are refusing to fix the mistake. It is impossible to get in touch with anyone to get the correct information and no one there is helpful at all. I would like my check for the money I am owed.
