Dont buy Tires from a Dealership claiming that Hankook will rebate- its a Scam! Hankook will tell you that they dont have your information.
Here is the response!
I have spoken to management about this matter. I have been informed
that because we do not have any information that you had sent the
receipt for this particular rebate at that time, we will not be able to
send you your rebate check.
We have already begun a new rebate for the month of September and
Hankook tires is only accepting information for our new rebate at this
time.
Sincerely,

Just sent the rebate in for the NEW offer and guess what? I sent all the required original receipts plus and email receipt and NOW Hankook says they have DENIED my rebate because of "Missing transaction number" What? This was not listed as a requirement on the rebate form and besides that--this number should be on the receipts--what, do I have to contact Sears for this "secret" missing number? This seems like just another excuse from Hankook. I will NEVER buy or recommend purchase of these tires if they do not fix this. For now, Dito to above comment!
This is a scam. I was told the part number on the invoice was wrong even though the tires were the correct model for the rebate. I bought the tires at Tire Rack so clearly they can't figure it out or are in on the scam with Hancrook.
This is a scam. I was told that my offer was approved, but I never got any rebate card. After contacting them they told me that they reviewed my application again decided to decline my application due to lack of enough info ! They said because I did not respond to the denial notice (which was never given), the offer is expired.
Yes it's a scam. I received the same E mail denial and responded at once to the request and resent copies of all of the information requested. You guessed it, a second denial.
I'll never buy a Hankook product again.
I just received an e mail saying my claim is now approved, this is after two denials. I must wait 6-8 weeks for a prepaid gift card.
I have read where others said they got the same notice but rebate never came. I'll await the results and let you know what happens.
Rebate offer said buy 4 winter tires. Sent in ALL paperwork, receipt, shop bill etc for 4 winter Hancrooks. Got a reply, "didn't buy enough tires". These guys use the rebate offer to scam in customers, however, they never actually had any intention to give out any rebates. The tires are pretty good, and I have two sets now, but their advertising department sux.
I've posted about this twice before, the first post was in Oct. 2015, this is a final update. After a 4 month struggle where Hankook told me that they would finally send the rebate., it hasn't come. That was 2 months ago. I've never seen a company work so hard to loose customers.
Adios Hankook!
Yes this is a scam! We purchased 4 tires within the allotted time, we sent in all the receipts twice because the first time they said the Walmart receipt was missing the full word "Hankook" it only said "hank and Ventus" so I went to Walmart and the auto service manager called them and they told her to simply put her signature and her business card on it with the full word "Hankook" on it. I got online and uploaded all the receipts again with the manager's information. The Walmart manager said we were not the only ones complaining of Hankook tires rebate. She was disgusted with the Hankook company saying that the EDI number should be sufficient on the receipts to confirm the type of tires purchased. I am returning the tires and buying another brand just to show them that we will not be treated like fools by Hankook! I will never purchase any products from them again!
This Hankook rebate is a scam! I have filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/Company#crnt
and the BBB Better Business Bureau. File a complaint with them too!
Hancock Tire Rebate: up to $100.00 IS A SCAM> The paperwork has been mailed in and then faxed in, and then called by the dealership. They are just giving us the run around, keep claiming they did not receive the documents. The dealership faxed and emailed and confirmed the receipt and now two months later...they again claim they did not receive it. If you get your $100.00 rebate, consider yourself the exception! SCAMMERS
I too was scammed by Hankook on their Great Hit Promo. I submitted the information they asked for 3 times and have been denied twice by email and a claim that they did not receive physical copies of the rebate form and invoice another time. Seems to me that screwing a customer out of 100 bucks is rather short sighted, considering that I, nor any other member of my family will ever buy another tire made by them.
Yes, a scam to say the least. A very dishonest company. They told me that I did not send them page 1 of my invoice which I did. I was refused my rebate and the time for the rebate had already expired. I will not deal with hankook ever again, meanwhile Ford motor company where I bought the tires, needs to be reminded that they are in bed with crooks.
Total scam, submitted all necessary documents and my scans were clea, i made sure of thatr. They never even sent me an email for denial, I just logged back in and then called only to get an attitude from the call center and a straight up denial. Good bye Hankrook. Never bought them before and never again, I will stick with my BF's and Yoko's thanks.
I bought new tires from hankook (4 of them), cherry hill Nissan said there was a rebate for them. I fill out the rebate online and get an e-mail that it was denied because my tires weren't on the list. Cherry hill has a different code for then so I had to do research to find the correct code for hsbkook. I only bought these tires because of the rebate deal. So absolutely pissed off and will make sure I tell everyone I know not to buy from the scamming hankook company.
So Nissan is taking care of it. I will post again the status if I'm approved or denied. I will also post if I receive the rebate.
Nissan took care of it and I just received my 100$ rebate in the mail. I would highly suggest contacting your dealer and having them contact hankook.
So, I don't think it's a scam. I was hesitant after reading these boards a couple months ago that I would receive any rebate from Hankook. I followed the rebate instructions and submitted about 6 weeks ago. Lo and behold, when I checked my rebate status on their website after a couple weeks it stated "Approved". I was still not holding out hope that I'd actually receive the rebate credit card though. On Feb 7 I received an email from Hankook:
We have just processed your Hankook Tire rebate in the amount of $60.00 It typically takes 15-20 business days for your rebate to arrive.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to email us at hankooktirerebates@360incentives.com.
Thank you for purchasing Hankook tires!

I still didn't think I'd get anything since everyone was saying it's a scam. Well, I received the rebate credit card on Friday. So, not sure why there are people not getting a rebate back, but it's not a scam.
I got the card. It doesnt work anywhere. They tell me that they have no record of having sent it to me, and it cannot be identified as one of theirs ( i sent a picture)
