On October 6th, 2023 I received an unexpected email from Hasbro Pulse that my order got cancelled and refunded without any reason provided. This email comes about three weeks after the company had said my item is getting ready for shipping and had charged me for my order. Mind you the pre-order was placed August 1, 2023 when they first announced the product as they are the manufacturer.
I don’t understand how can the actual owner and creator of the product cannot anticipate demand when the have the pre-order information way ahead of time.
This cancellation also comes after both my item had been partially confirmed for shipping and so late in the process that I am unable to order this product from other retailers as they too have ran out.
I see an unwillingness of Hasbro to respond in a reasonable and fair way. There is no way that a MANUFACTURER cannot fulfill pre-orders as they knew well ahead of time what the demand was going to be. The whole point of buying from them is the assurance that the demand is met. This a complete break of trust and deceptive communication on their end, particularly when I already pay a subscription for having access to these pre-orders.
I want my products as pre-ordered and they cannot be subject to availability when it was done with enough time to make this right with the manufacturer. This is completely unacceptable and I expect to be made whole again.
