1. Never Replay The Mail
I have send Some of e-mail To this Following Address which is display in There website .(ebanking@hnb.lk, feedback@hnb.lk, customer.[protected]@hnb.lk)
2. Poor Internet Banking Support
Accidentally I update my mobile number with '+' sign after that I never receive the otp and contact the support they toll me to download the form and get the stamp from sri lanka empassy sen it to sri lanka because I am working in saudi arabia. Are they thing its simple process. Every year I am paying money for internet banking and transection fees but they can't give a easy solution to me

2018 i went to the puttalam branch, ask them to give a account statment for saving account becouse my passbook letters are Blur its they fault. they said no you can't get the statement and then i leave the branch and call the customer care ask them why i cant get the statment for saving accont ? they said "they said You can get the statment for saving account without any issue " what this point Mean, Evan Bank manager Doesn't know the bank Rules
I am still waiting for a money transfer from my own HNB to HNB since morning to afternoon.
I had requested to inform me about possibility about opening a bussines account when the coustomer is in abroad. I have no reply so far. But on web site we have been shown many dreams .
I suprise that why HNB does not apply so called digital technology

I am so frustrated about this bank. never ever don't get any credit card from HNB. you have to face hidden policy, ineffective staff, an ineffective connection between branches, and limitless payment.
I live abroad. Hatton National Bank has only one help/hot line. I have never been able to get someone on line even after 5 days of trying, over 30 calls and expensive telephone bills - simply been put on hold.
Every 2 years they perform what is called an "platform upgrade" with complicated routines to access one's accounts. They appear to think that all their customers are "Techno Gurus". Now I am blocked out of my accounts, unable to make some important and urgent transactions.
As a result I have to, now resort wire-transfers from the US - a very expensive process.
I am searching for a more reliable bank. Appreciate any advice from Lankans living abroad, Thanks, Ranjith Wijetunge

Never trust HNB online platform for utility payments as it needs 02 working days to effect the payments. Called customer care & complaint was also made and nothing happened.
The same was done via commercial bank online platform and it was effected immediately.
