If you’re smart you won’t hire this company to haul anything. I’m already mad and my bike hasn’t got here yet, a week late, but that’s not the problem. I live in Indiana and purchased a bike in Cali. The owner had purchased and installed a fairing and he was giving me the original windshield. I started calling moving companies to see which one would work with me and bring the extra windshield. HaulBikes was the second company i called. When i explained the windshield delima to Nancy, she was quick to say it wouldn, t be a problem. She said the driver would wrap it, put it in a safe place, and bring it to me. When the driver picked up the bike, the owner handed him the windshield but he refused to bring it because it wasn’t attached to the bike. The owner called me and was upset about the matter. I called Nancy and she said she’d talk to the driver, which had already left with the bike, and would call me back. She never called back. The next day i called and asked to talk to a supervisor. Another woman got on the phone and explained that they do not bring anything that’s not attached to the bike. So basically Nancy lied to me to get my business and they didn’t really give a s*it!. I used to transport autos so i can understant being a week late if they had trouble of some kind, but i can’t stand being lied to. When my delivery date had came and gone, i called to check on the status of my delivery, there was no apparent trouble. My bike was at their hub. They said they were waiting for a driver to come in, take a couple days to load the bikes, then come my direction sometime late next week. I’m guessing it’s going to be at least two weeks or more late now. I’d say these people are slackers and liars. I explained to the so called supervisor that i would tell as many people as i could about them but she didn’t seem to care. Maybe her boss will, maybe not!

I think there was a communication issue between the 'dispatcher' of the order to haul and what the driver picked up.This could have been easily rectified if the driver had made 2 phone calls...unfortunate circumstances sounds like what happened.Too bad Haul Bikes lost this customer, if it had been me hauling the mc I would made the call on the correcting the service for the paying customer..When I lease on to Haul Bikes...I personally guarantee these incidents will never happen.

This review hits the nail on the head for me. I had almost the exact experience this summer with Haul-bikes. Only one actually two things were different. I didn't have a windshield to haul but our sportster was delivered 5 weeks late. All the same excuses about being at their hub in Las Vegas and waiting for a driver and also someone to load the bike. Only really good thing about them is that they had a summer special of $400 to pick-up and deliver to west coast and I am in California. I see now they are as pricy as anyone else, but they are saying that their delivery is much faster now. I probably will not find out.

This company doesn't care about how long it takes to get your bike from point A to point B. Contracts have no dates so it is open ended on time. Bikes that are picked up are. Brought to their warehouse til they feel like or get enough bikes to ship. And the whole time they say we are working on it.they provide little if any info about when your bike will arrive. Stay away from this company. If you have to pay a little extra it will be worth the money for saving yourself all this aggravation. You have been warned

I had a similar experience with my bike coming after a months wait as Bill Green above. However, they did take my windshield but I wish they hadn't. It came damaged even though the driver said he'd wrap it in a furniture blanket. Don't bother calling because you'll wait over an hour to actually talk to someone. The windshield had deep rub and scratch marks that won't be able to be polished out. The claims process was an exercise in futility, only to give me false hope as they fell back on the fine print in the insurance policy. Anything under $500 isn't covered unless you specify differently. I just chose the default paperwork when I signed up, big mistake. I had proof that the windshield wasn't damaged. Even had a picture of it before it left straight on but it didn't matter. The lesson here is video your bike before it leaves and check it, I mean really look it over before you sign for it. And if the driver threatens to send it back like mine did if you can't be there in the specified window, he was a different drive and could care less, tell him to take a hike. I had to have a neighbor sign for it. You paid for the shipping of the bike and as such should get what you paid for not a damaged item like I did. I did actually make it to the drop off but was late and the bike had already been unloaded. I was concerned with patching up things with the driver, because we had had some words, and not my bike. Stupid. They asked me to confirm that I received the results of the claims report as if I'm going to sue them. Nah, I'm just bitter. It just eats at me because they know that they caused the damage, you can clearly see it, but yet didn't do anything about it and my only recourse is to right this stupid review which I'm making the time for because I didn't pay attention or take the time when the bike came to finish the process the way I should have. A very important step that ended up costing me. Don't let it happen to you. I've had a few vehicles shipped over the years and should've known better. Just wish the company in my mind would acknowledge the wrong doing. I don't sue people, figure it's something I'll learn from and usually don't write these but it just doesn't sit well with me. So beware. I was a Haul Bikes customer and the bike I had shipped was a Harley Davidson Road King .

I'm reading here that delivery time seems to be a major complaint. My Bike was picked up by Haul Bikes on 12/02/21 in Long Island N.Y. I live in California. Yesterday I was informed that the bike has been assigned to a delivery driver and that the window for delivery is between 01/06/22 and 01/08/22. That being said if it's on schedule it would have been in transport for over a little month. I was told that it could take 3 to 4 weeks. The reason was a Shortage of drivers, weather, covid related issues with haul bike employees and drivers and hiring qualified people. The bike isn't here yet, but so far everything they have told me has been accurate. I was prepared for a long haul. I got two bids. Haul Bikes was 1/2 the price of the other shipper. If the bike is as good as the pictures with no transport damage, I'll be a satisfied customer.

My bike was finished, and Haul Bikes said we'll pick it up the next day--- well they didn't and now they tell me it'll be here AFTER the holiday---WTF---3 months of waiting on repairs only to be delayed by Haul Bikes inefficiency. What an unacceptable practice. I put over 60 grand in my bike and they act as if I ordered a flower or some BS... If I'm giving someone a time I will be there or notify the people --not Haul bikes they made excuses... I want my bike here ASAP not when it's comfy for Haul Bikes. This is the same tactic moving companies do--- they need to be fined so they know if they delay, they pay.
