I have taken HDFC CC in 2005 and i am paying the amount that i have used in monthly basis... i never get any single statements stating that i have to pay this much or i have paid this amount... nothing... i thought that i settled used amount... but recently after one year i got a mail that i have to pay 41000/- and they hold my funds of saving account... i responded to the mail i got from HDFC CC Dept manager Amal Prakash, but i didn't get any replays from them... at least i called them he said that his colleague replied on that mail but they didn't... he said he will give 50% interest cut on the amount and i told him that recently one of your representative called me and said i have to pay 9000/- only and the next day i have paid 3600/- and with in one month how could it possible that the amount increased to 41000/-... manager said that if you give me the person name you can pay only the amount said to you by the person... i told him that i couldn't call you always please reply back to my mails as i was staying out of country.
Now they have taken the amount(16219/-) from my saving account without intimating me... if they would have told me the exact figure then i would have paid them immediately... i was keep on mailing them regarding the statements for the amount they said... but no reply from them... he asked me the contact number i gave him the contact number but no reply... everyday i was waiting for their reply... this is very ridiculous by HDFC CC Dept and take this example that they are doing fraud to the customers... they are cheating the customers!

I am one of the victim of these people. At the amount of 30000 they are charging 60000. And the behavior of staff is really rude. They gives bad calls. If anyone have serious complains then Pls Call to RBI Bank and send mail to them they really do care.
I have also got suffered of these people. Representatives of hdfc payment collections is very rude. They force me to make the payments using dadagiri type language. They talk to their boss from my home very loudly. I have been regularly paying whatever they charge without any inquiry, because i do not have time to check, because of my work.
Me too faced the same problem. I stopped using CC after i clear all my dues,but didn't block it becoz i wanted to use that in future for online bookings.
After that we swifted the place... After 5/6 months i started getting calls from HDFC representatives. That i have to pay 15k.
but i didn't purchase anything. I refused to pay that amount... and started avoiding their calls... then many times they forced me to pay that amount... when i told that somebody has misused my card... i dint spend that amount... then they told we are closing this case... Again after 2 months i got a call from them, asking me to pay 6k... but i didn't pay and didn't receive their call. Again after 3/4 months they started calling to my home,giving threatenings to my parents... will send arrest warrants to my parents and to me... like that they started abusing us... Can u someone please suggest me what i need to do now...

I had ICICI credit card balance payment to pay and i am paying regularly upto my limit without fail and I was very happy about that.
Then, one day, a lady from your bank started making a call around 15 or 16 times and i refused, but, finally, at 17th time, I agreed regarding BT, COC, Smart pay.
For all these about said three things I am wrongly intimated all the rules and regulatings and payment structures regarding theses three..
I was cheated by HDFC bank through that stupid girl.
I know that girl and her phone number. She cheated from HDFC Nungambakkam office.
I cm cheated through 2 things..
What she said is, for sll these three, I will get one bill, in this if i paid Rs.1000/- means, this will be taken as
First, for COC EMI, then Smart pay payment and remaining amount to BT.
Also, she never said that,for everymonth for COC there is an interest..
For this, I asked her, how shall i get bill, for this, what she told know, you will get single bill with all these three as for eg., I saravana stores if we buy 10 intems means, finally we will get single bill with all 10 intems. ..
One, regarding BT, What she said was, for first three months, there is no interest and from fourth month this remaining BT will be converted to EMI.
Second one is, regarding Smart pay, As per her words, here, if I pay Rs.1000/- means, first take COC emi and entire remaining amount to BT, and donot take for Smart pay payment, and after completion of BT only, this come for consideration and upto that time, what amount paid by HDFC towards smart pay payment is accumulated and then, I have to pay that amount with interest.
CONCLUSION:

As I was wrongly informed all the details...
right now my position is., I am not that much rich to pay the amount which accumulated and finally to pay for smart pay and all...that is for cheated 2 things..
I will what amount i can monthly without fail on or before due date..this is my words..
I dont want to cheat HFC as you cheated me...
What I want is...youmust must act upon the words from that girl's words..
else.
If you refuse, and if you say that girl's words are wrong and we cannot like that means..
No problem.,
I never pay even a single paisa...OK.,
I will face what ever may be the consequences and also at the same time HDFC must face the consequences from me.
We will both face, I DOESN'T MINE.
ONE MORETHING, I APPLIED FOR SMART PAY, IMMEDIATELY, URGENTLY CANCEL THAT ONE., IT SHOULD NOT HAPPEN FOR THE DATE IMMEDIATELY AFTER I APPLIED DATE..MIND IT !

a chance to increase your credit limit and upgrade your credit card to Gold-Card-Reply to us NOW".
Sir, i once again requet you that i dont need any credit card now.

I agree with all of you.
I am relating my case. I had a HDFC bank CC from March 2005 and I had always made regular payments on my card. However this July I had a major health issue and also had a divorce. I have been unable to pay them since August 2007. I wrote to them in October telling them that I can pay of the outstanding in one year if they stop charging interest and convert it into a loan. I copied RBI also on it but they said that would not happen.
Last week they put on hold Rs 12000 that I had in my savings account on hold. When I called them up they said they have done it. I approached RBI and police to get some relief but it seems that they pay them bribes as I got no help from them.
Now what do customers like us do. Do we have a way out? Is the government listening.

My first application verification was done and after that one of your banking officers says that the applications lost. After one month I have applied again for credit cards as per the banks instructions. Again all verifications and enquiries were finished and I have received a final call from the department saying that, this is the final call and the card will be get approved. After 3 days I called to customer care. For the status but the banking officer said that my application is rejected, but the banking officer can’t explain the reasons.
I have applied for a car loan and I have canceled my lone application because of this reason.
I am not interested to be an hdfc bank customer and I will close my account after I received the confirmation mail from the manager or from the head office.

HDFC is doing fraud in credit cards.
To the incharge Credit card divison. HDFC BANK.SIR this is reference to the credit card no [protected] of B.R.SREENATH. I have received statment on 17th august showing balance of rs 1368.52.But unfortunately I donot made any transaction recently.Two months back I spoke to the banaglore customer care telephone number they told me to pay the entire balance around rs600 which i made through cq .After that I have not made any trancation. But for just rs 168 they are telling me to pay 1368.52.is not justice? I donot want to pay any latefee Please reverse.Or cancell my credit card. I too went through the same problem.my details of address proof has been now taken for the 3rd time.When i call to ask for the credit card they say there is no application also.the last time i asked for the credit card was when i got an sms saying sms CARD to a particular no. i did that and the person also came to take the photo copy but in vain.HDFC bank is very slow with dealings.I went to the parel branch where i have a savings a/c and asked them to help i got an answer that we dont deal with credit cards .its a pity they also dont know.well in short you wait like a fool.i have waited for 7 months /and the latest documents were taken last month .so my waiting begins .

Dear My Credit Card No.[protected] received on 19th Aug'2014, and I have used this card on 21st Oct'2014 Dhanteras day at Jewelers shop, to my surprise the card did not work and I have to face a very situation at the shop. I have requested the manager to keep the jewelry, and called customer care, they said the Dinners Club International credit card will work on selected outlets.
I have told your executive clearly that I need a card with EMI facility when he came to our college for the card.
Hence I request you to cancel my existing card and send a new card with VISA or Master Card which are easy to access and the transactions converted into EMI's., at the earliest.
