I wanted to reach out and let you know that I recently had to contact your team for assistance with two claims. I can't remember the exact name of the customer service agent I spoke with, but I believe it was Karen. I just wanted to express how impressed I was with her level of service. Karen went above and beyond to help me, even reaching out to the businesses involved on my behalf. Her ability to understand, anticipate, and resolve all of my issues was truly remarkable. Not only was she kind and easy to talk to, but she also maintained a high level of professionalism throughout our conversation.
I wanted to mention that when most people think of contacting insurance companies, they don't typically have a positive image in mind. However, Karen and professionals like her are the reason why individuals continue to work with companies like Heath Alliance. She provided me with personalized attention and a solution that exceeded my expectations. I want to extend my gratitude to Karen for her exceptional support, and also to the management for entrusting her with the responsibility of efficiently and effectively resolving my issues. Her flawless performance should be recognized when considering promotions within the company. Karen's experience and capabilities make her more than qualified to train and mentor others within Health Alliance or any other company she may work for in the future.

I reached out to the company using the internal message system before 11/1 to inform them that my employer would be offering health insurance starting from 11/1, and I wanted to cancel my policy. However, when I tried to unenroll through the marketplace, I couldn't find an option to select a cancellation date before 11/10. As a result, instead of canceling my coverage for November, they are now threatening to send me to collections for the November premium, even though I have already paid for coverage starting from 11/1. It's frustrating to be charged twice for the same coverage.

I had been a member of Health Alliance for nearly a decade, but when I resigned from my job, I knew I would lose my coverage. Wanting to confirm the last date of coverage, I called Health Alliance on 6/29/22. The customer service representative informed me that my coverage would end on 6/30/22. Just to be sure, I asked her if she meant tomorrow, and she confirmed it. Based on this information, I quickly enrolled in the first available health care coverage until I could join my spouse's insurance plan. However, it turned out that my Health Alliance coverage actually continued until the end of August. This mistake by Health Alliance cost me over $600 in unnecessary expenses for the other coverage.
Over the course of many phone calls and several months, I tried to get Health Alliance to reimburse me for the money I had spent on the additional coverage. I made it clear that this was the only satisfactory resolution for me, but they refused to comply. They proposed solutions to the problem, but they were both inconvenient and expensive, so I rejected them multiple times. I will not be content until I am fully reimbursed for the extra coverage that I paid for due to Health Alliance's error.
