I gotta say, I've been in the game for a while now, and I've worked with a ton of freelancers and assistants. Like, hundreds. I found my favorite administrative Rockstar through HireMyMom.com, and I couldn't be happier. This site has made my life so much easier, and I know it can do the same for you. Legitimate Work-From-Home Jobs: My Experience with Hire My Mom
I really like Hire My Mom! I used the website a few years back to find a job that I could do from home, and I didn't think it would lead to anything. I tried out about 4 or 5 other websites before I found HMM, but I didn't have much luck with them at all. The jobs were either too complicated, still required me to go into an office, or needed me to work too many hours. I was looking for a part-time job, and I was able to find a lot of relevant job postings on HMM. I'm really happy that I found this website, and I'll always go back to it if I need to pick up some freelance work. Most of the jobs I got from HMM years ago are still with me today! It's a really good place to find legitimate work-from-home jobs, and they cover a lot of different industries, pay well, and have job postings from professional people. Thanks, Hire My Mom!
HireMyMom Review: A Game Changer for Virtual Assistants and Moms
I gotta tell ya, I used HireMyMom way back in 2011 and it was a game changer for me. I was able to snag my first two clients as a Virtual Assistant in just two months using the site. And let me tell ya, those clients were the start of something great for me. I was able to use HireMyMom to get even more clients and eventually quit my day job in January of 2013 to work as a Virtual Assistant full time.
One thing I really appreciated about HireMyMom was that most clients on there understand that you're a mom and have family duties. Ain't nobody got time to explain that to clients who expect you to work 24/7. It was such a relief to be able to work with clients who understood my situation and were flexible with my schedule.
I can't stress enough how grateful I am that I stumbled upon HireMyMom. It really changed the game for me and allowed me to build a successful career as a Virtual Assistant. But I gotta be real with ya, it's not all sunshine and rainbows. You gotta take the time to write great proposals if you want to stand out from the crowd. That's why so many VA's never hear back from clients - they don't clearly address how they can help the client and instead just talk about their experience without really applying it to the client's needs.
Overall, I highly recommend HireMyMom to any mom looking to start or grow their career as a Virtual Assistant. It's a great resource and can really help you take your career to the next level.
Hire My Mom: The Best Resource for Legit Work from Home Opportunities for Moms
When I first became a mom, I knew that I couldn't leave my little one to go back to work. So, I started scouring the internet for legit work from home websites. I came across a bunch of them, like flexjobs, ziprecruiter, Indeed, and LinkedIn. I applied to all of them, but what really caught my eye about Hire My Mom was how they focused on working moms. They had legit work from home opportunities, both part-time and full-time, as well as independent and W-2 work.
I'm so grateful that I found Hire My Mom. It allowed me to stay home with my son during the most important years of his life. I was able to secure two independent work contracts, and then easily transitioned to my current W-2 position. Being able to work from home has been a game-changer for me and my family. I can be there for my son whenever he needs me, and I don't have to worry about missing out on any of his milestones.
Overall, I highly recommend Hire My Mom to any working mom who wants to be there for her kids while still earning a living. It's a great resource for finding legit work from home opportunities, and the team at Hire My Mom really cares about helping moms succeed.
Hire My Mom Review: Limited Job Listings, but Positive Experience with Customer Service and Easy Cancellation
I heard about Hire My Mom from a friend and decided to give it a try. After reading some reviews, I was excited to see what kind of job opportunities were available. However, I was a bit disappointed to find that there were not as many job listings as I had hoped for. But, I decided to give it a chance and signed up for the lowest package which included a 3-day free trial.
During the trial period, I was able to browse through the job listings and see if there were any that matched my skills and interests. While there were not a lot of options, I did find a few that caught my eye. I applied to a couple of them and was pleasantly surprised to receive responses from the employers within a few days.
One thing I appreciated about Hire My Mom was how easy it was to cancel my subscription. I have had bad experiences with other subscription sites in the past, where canceling was a nightmare. But with Hire My Mom, it was a breeze. I simply followed the instructions on the website and my subscription was canceled without any issues.
Another positive experience I had with Hire My Mom was with their customer service. I had a question about my subscription and reached out to their support team. They were quick to respond and very helpful. The owner even reached out to me personally to see if there was anything they could do to help me find a job in my niche.
Overall, while there were not as many job listings as I had hoped for, I still had a positive experience with Hire My Mom. If you are considering signing up, I would recommend going with the lowest package and taking advantage of the free trial to see if it is a good fit for you. And, as always, be sure to read the fine print to avoid any unexpected charges.
Hire My Mom: The Perfect Solution for Work-Life Balance
So, like, three years back, one of my peeps from my personal training biz told me about this website called HireMyMom.com. And let me tell you, it was like the perfect timing for me. I was a single Mom and had to deal with three kids in three different school schedules. Ain't no way I could have done a 9 to 5 job, you know what I mean? So, I signed up with Hire My Mom and within a month, I got this awesome gig with an eCommerce company in Cali. I worked with them for two years and then when I was looking for a new job, I went straight to Hire My Mom and found another perfect match. And guess what? Within a month, I had another remote job that I love!
I gotta say, Hire My Mom is the bomb dot com when it comes to finding your next gig. They totally get that work and family gotta balance out, you know? I'm like two times happy and super grateful for this organization that values that balance. Honestly, I don't know how I would have made it through the last three years without their amazing remote job hosting platform. So, if you're looking for your next venture, I highly recommend Hire My Mom. Thank you, Hire My Mom!
Hire My Mom Review: Glitches, Terrible Service, and Hidden Costs - Don't Waste Your Time and Money
This website, Hire My Mom, is supposed to be a great resource for work from home mothers. However, it has some serious issues that make it difficult to use. For starters, the site is full of glitches that can make it hard to apply for jobs. And if you do manage to apply for a job, there's no guarantee that you'll actually get it. The service is also terrible - they never answer the office phones, so you're stuck emailing them and waiting days for a response.
But the worst part is what happens when you try to cancel your membership. Even if you've only been a member for a few days, they'll take your money and run. And if you do manage to get in touch with them, they'll often change your membership without your permission, which can cost you even more money.
Another issue with Hire My Mom is that many of the jobs they advertise require travel or being in the office at their location. This can be a problem if you're looking for a true work from home job. And even if you do take one of these jobs, you'll be considered a 1099 contract employee, which means you'll be taxed both as self-employed and on your income taxes. This can really eat into your pay and make it difficult to make ends meet.
Overall, I would not recommend using Hire My Mom. There are plenty of other sites and freelance opportunities out there that are much better. Don't waste your time, money, or hope on this site - it's nothing but a bait and switch to get your money.
Disappointing Experience with Hire My Mom: Coercive Tactics and Hefty Fees
I gotta say, I was pretty excited to give Hire My Mom a try. I mean, as a former stay-at-home mom myself, I loved the idea of being able to help out another mom who was looking for work. So, I decided to post a job listing for my small mental health clinical practice. I needed someone who could work part-time and from home, so I thought this might be the perfect place to find someone.
But, let me tell you, I was pretty disappointed with the whole experience. First of all, the company charges a pretty hefty fee just to post a job ad. I mean, come on, there are plenty of other sites out there that let you post for free. And, to make matters worse, after I spent all that time crafting my ad, I got an email saying they wouldn't post it unless I created a LinkedIn page and linked to them through my profile. What the heck?
Now, I'm a psychologist, so I don't have a LinkedIn page. I don't want my patients to be able to find contact info for other patients. But, even if I did have a page, I don't think I would have linked to them. It just seemed like a really coercive tactic to me. I mean, I just wanted to help out a stay-at-home mom and give them some experience to put on their resume. But, it seems like all this company really cares about is making a profit.
In the end, I had to ask them to take down my listing. It's a shame, really. I had such high hopes for this site. But, I guess it just wasn't meant to be.
HireMyMom.com: The Best Job Site for Moms Looking for Flexible Work!
I found HireMyMom.com about a year ago when I had to make a tough decision to leave my corporate job. I have three little ones and another on the way, and I found it increasingly difficult to keep up with my corporate job. I felt like I was neglecting my duties as a mother and wife to succeed professionally. I had to leave, but I didn't know where to turn for work from home jobs. I had searched for remote jobs before, but I never felt comfortable with the jobs I found on other job sites. Many of them still required a "quiet office space" or set hours of availability like a typical 9 to 5 job.
One day, I stumbled upon HireMyMom.com on Instagram, and it was a godsend! I couldn't believe how many companies and businesses were hiring for people who needed flexible hours or remote work. I ended up getting three interviews with three different employers and was hired by one of them! I received on-the-job training, which my employer paid for, and now I'm using those skills to start my own podcasting service!
I can't recommend HireMyMom.com enough, especially for mothers! It's the best job site out there, and it has changed my life for the better. Whenever a mom tells me she's looking for work, I send her to HireMyMom.com. Lesley is a pro in this field, and I'm so grateful that she started this wonderful resource for us moms! Thanks, Lesley!
HireMyMom: The Ultimate Virtual Assistant Gold Mine!
I gotta say, HireMyMom is the bomb dot com! I've hired not one, not two, not three, but FOUR moms from there and every time has been a total slam dunk. The talent on there is off the chain - it's like a gold mine of skilled peeps!
I'm so in love with HireMyMom that I even wrote a blog post about it on my website (check it out if you don't believe me): http://www.profitfactory.com/the-best-place-to-hire-vas-and-it-aint-elance/
I've been hiring virtual staff for over 5 years now and let me tell you, HireMyMom is the cream of the crop when it comes to Virtual Assistants. If I need someone with a really specific skill (like copywriting or website design), I might look elsewhere, but if I need an Executive Assistant, Marketing Assistant, Marketing Coordinator, Sales Support staff, Admin, Scheduling, Project Manager, or any of a million other positions, I know I can find the perfect fit on Hire My Mom. It's a smorgasbord of amazing talent that you won't find anywhere else.
And the best part? It's affordable AF. You can get top-notch team members for under $20/hour, and they're all super polished from their past lives in corporate or professional America.
Leslie, you're a rockstar for creating such an incredible website and service. My business is lightyears ahead of where it would be without you and your team.
Oh, and one more thing - hiring VAs is a skill that you can learn, just like anything else. If someone gets a bad VA from HMM (or anywhere else, for that matter), it's at least 50% the employer's fault for not being skilled enough at hiring. I used to be terrible at it and lost $10K on another VA service, but now I'm a pro and VAs are the lifeblood of my business.

Terrible Experience with Hire My Mom: Paid $65/Hr for No Work Done
I had a really bad experience with Hire My Mom. I talked to a lady once and spent a whole weekend getting everything ready for her. I made a video and wrote out instructions in an email. She wanted me to pay her before she started working, which I thought was weird, but I did it anyway. After that, I never heard from her again. I tried calling to complain, but no one helped me. I really hate this group and I don't think anyone should use them. I paid $65 an hour and she didn't do any work at all. She just took my money and laughed about it.
Hire My Mom Review: Decent Option for Freelance Work from Home Opportunities
writers, virtual assistants, etc. The job postings are not always consistent, but there are some good ones if you keep checking. The site is easy to navigate and the customer service is helpful. Overall, Hire My Mom is a decent option for those looking for freelance work from home opportunities. Just be aware of the cancellation policy and don't expect to find a job right away.
boutique job placement service
While this site does seem to post legitimate job offers that are adaptable for work from home mothers... you are lucky if you ACTUALLY get to apply for them. The site has numerous glitches, the service is TERRIBLE and the once you cancel, even if it's just mere days into your membership - they take your money and run. They never answer the office phones, so technical problems can only be submitted by their email and it takes them DAYS to respond. They also do things like changing your membership without permission, which of course, costs you money. The site also advertises that it is a boutique for those who want to work from home - but many of the positions require travel and for you to be in the office at their location and still consider you a 1099 contract employee (which means you are taxed both as self-employed and then on income taxes - thus reducing your pay). You are better off spending your time, your money and your hope for working from home on other sites and freelance work. HireMyMom.com is nothing but a bait and switch to get your money!

The owners haven't paid me for the work
I found www.hiremymom.com and decided to earn extra money to my budget. I made all the assignments and was really interested in this work. But the company turned to be dishonest, because they still haven’t paid me for the work. I’m tired of sending emails and asking about the payment. I was sick of their promises and blah-blah. Just don’t believe to everything, what these people tell you.

this website doesn't for people, who want to sit at home
I joined the website www.hiremymom.com and hoped to find some job from home. I started to communicate with one lady, who promised to provide some stuff for me. After that I heard only fake promises and blah-blah. Also the website doesn’t provide jobs from home. I was disappointed a little bit in such services and attitude. So please, post comments about it. Your experience might be very helpful for other people.

no money, no items
I recently made several projects for the website www.hiremymom.com. I paid for my membership on this website, and the agent promised to provide new projects each month. After I made three projects, they didn’t pay me and only promised to transfer money. I contacted them several times and they only told me that they were busy and tomorrow they would pay me. I’m still waiting for my money, and I wonder if there are other people, who had the same experience. Can you provide any good piece of advice?
